"The Florentine Renaissance painter Domenico Ghirlandaio was once the proprietor of this scenic Tuscan estate, mere minutes outside of Florence’s city center. And while plenty has changed since the days when a young Michelangelo passed through his workshop, the essential character of Dimora Ghirlandaio remains as appealing as it ever was: a Medici-style villa surrounded by picture-perfect Tuscan countryside, supplied with produce and wines from this legendary region." - Tablet Hotels
Incredible hidden treasure in the Tuscan countryside and feels like been transported back in time with the architecture and attention to detail, all this but with modern amenities. Surrounded by incredible rolling hills and breathtaking views. It is truly a wonderful accommodation with fantastic staff who are extremely helpful and hospitable. Feels super private as far as resorts go and stunning pool and dining room. Even privy to some original Ghirlandaio frescos in the property’s original chapel! There’s a spa and huge grounds with lush vegetation and fresh herb garden. Food is great too. Luxury meets natural beauty. Would love to come back. Grazie!

We just had our wedding at Dimora Ghirlandaio and I can’t speak highly enough of this Villa. Everything was perfect! The rooms, the food, the grounds were all spectacular. Pictures don’t even do it justice. AND the staff was so helpful especially Linda!!

Beautiful villa in the countryside. I stayed here with my family and friends for my wedding week and hosted two events in their new dining area! The service and food was amazing. Everything was fresh and homemade! Highly recommend staying here and hosting events!

A lovely place that has everything - quality & amazing service! You feel like you are remote and deep in Tuscany, while being so close to Florence. Amazing food and staff, I would high recommend this for a getaway - both as a couple or as a family.

We stayed recently with a large wedding party and had a wonderful time. This place is like a dream with gorgeous expansive grounds you can walk through and the concierge can and will arrange anything you need to include on site massages in a private room. The rooms were undersized and lack of storage for suitcases and luggage was a pain (maybe raise the beds so open suitcases can slide under them?). The beds themselves were luxurious, oversized and firm but comfortable. I slept very well every night. Our room did NOT have Wi-Fi or good cell signal. We notified management but there was nothing the concierge could do about it (probably just needs a designated mesh node). Just FYI, the pools are not heated but still make for a perfect cold plunge after using the sauna and steam room. We had events almost everyday and wanted to relax in the sauna during the evening but they would lock it up. I understand the liability but please allow me to manage my own risk as an adult. For the price of renting an Italian villa you should be able to use the sauna in the evenings.

We didn't stay here, but dropped by to use the Tesla charger (arrive at the entrance gate, enter, turn hard hard left to slot the 2x chargers in the left corner).
We came across a variety of staff who were polite and professional. Grounds are maintained beautifully and we sat by the pool to spend a wonderful 40min or so while the Telsa charged.
Additionally, the views from here are gorgeous!
