London’s New Restaurant Openings

"This Canary Wharf spot brings London’s Din Tai Fung restaurant count up to four. There’ll be the same open kitchen as the others, as well as fan favourite Taiwanese dishes like the xiaolongbao and sautéed string beans with garlic." - team infatuation

Our server Khushboo was amazing. Attentive and very much on the ball. Friendly, informative and very efficient at what she does. I've been to the Covent Garden branch before and I dont recall the service being this good. Also, everyone you walk pass would greet you on your way in and out. It gave a very welcoming feeling. The food were good too and it was a very enjoyable meal and dining experience.

Celebrated my sister’s birthday here. Food was delicious and staff friendly and polite. My sister got a free dumpling with a candle cos it was her birthday. Would definitely go again, and thinking of having my birthday dinner in the Soho branch

Visited here yesterday for brunch, on a Saturday. We didn't have a reservation here, as we were originally planning to go somewhere else. Luckily we got a table straight away when we arrived and asked at the door. Our server Kushboo was very friendly and attentive throughout the whole time, and she made sure everything was okay. Food... Our first time at Din Tai Fung and we were impressed. You can taste that it's all high quality ingredients and see the chefs making them right there and then! Reminds me a lot of home-made food. If I'm ever in the area again, I would not hesitate to come back. The prawn and pork wontons in spicy sauce, amazing. Especially that sauce...

Food was good, service was fab and atmosphere was great. Happy overall, although a bit pricey for what it was and portions were on the smaller side. You definitely get your money's worth in Asia compared to the UK. 😅

We were restaurant hoping this day, and I love Chinese cuisine that’s why we decided to eat nad enjoy some! Din tai fung is a really staple restaurant in the Chinese cuisine, I’ve had their food way back in the Philippines as well. The Eggfried rice with pork on top was really nice and the flavour is just right, but my favourite was the siomai! Pork and prawns was just so juicy and tender! Will be back again next time.

Went there on a Sunday evening without reservations and was seated within 10mins. The atmosphere was lovely and food absolutely delicious (love the Taiwanese fried chicken!). Our main waitress, Sindy, was amazing - we needed a pair of scissors to cut the noodles for the baby and she went out of her way to source this for me! She was also so attentive to check everything was good and even recognised us from the Tottenham court branch! My baby was incredibly happy and all the staff were so friendly to interact and smile with her. I enjoyed a wholesome family meal without feeling rushed and it was a very comfortable experience all thanks to the amazing staff there as well as other friendly diners around. Also handy that the baby changing facility is on the ground floor. Fave branch to date! Thank you

Very happy with the food and service from David at Din Tai Fung Canary Wharf. It’s the new opened branch and atmosphere and food was excellent. Super kind and helpful staff! Highly recommend :)

Food was ok but with a lot less options since I went to their Selfridges branch a few months ago. True to its brand in Taiwan. Service was OK with online self-service but online menu was hard to read using the smart phone. Prices in London were set way above the same dishes in Asian locations. Value for money could be subjective.
