Dinesh House

I checked in immediately upon arrival and have been here for almost a month now. The location of the house is perfect, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the Dinesh family is incredibly welcoming, making me feel right at home. The breakfasts and dinners are delicious, offering a taste of traditional Nepalese mountain life. The house is located on a well-maintained road, easily accessible by hiking and cycling. The surrounding scenery is breathtaking; you can see the sunrise over the surrounding jungle each morning as the mist dissipates, and the golden sunset over Annapurna's snow-capped mountains in the evening. I visit the surrounding villages daily, and Begnas Lake is just a short walk downhill, easily accessible to the lake. If you enjoy hiking, you can ascend to higher ground, where there are many viewpoints and temples. This is the place I've stayed the longest during my trip, and I absolutely love it—a truly unique Pokhara rural experience!

Dinesh's place is a wonderful small guest house with 3 or 4 rooms. The family is really sweet and chill. I stayed for a week, and planned to return... But then it got colder in this part of Nepal and I bought a ticket to Thailand. I miss the views, and eating dal baht by the fire in the evenings. Great spot.

Dinesh house is not just a place to stay but a sanctuary for wanderers, dreamers, artists, seekers and all kinds of restless souls. The love Dinesh and Deepa put into everything they do is felt viscerally. Truly felt at home in their place, connected with lots of other wonderful humans staying there, having dinners together, hanging out in the garden, reading and enjoying beautiful views. I was roaming around looking for a place to eat and Dinesh was nice enough to offer food even though that they don’t do lunch they made exception and by seeing their hospitality and kindness it made me stay for a month and I felt like I was at home. They invited me to their ceremonies/ festivals. If there was anything I needed Dinesh definitely took care of it. Recommend staying there. It’s one of the highlights of my trip in Nepal.

Dinesh' house is perfectly located in between Rupa and Begnas lake with an amazing view from his colourful garden. The dal bat made by Dipa was the best one we've had after a month in India. We also learned from her how to make it and also made coffee together with them.

He took me on a magical boat trip and an Ayurvedic walk through the forest so much more than a tour. It was a ceremony of connection, to land, to self, to something greater. We had an amazing time here at Dinesh house! The family is very welcoming and you are really part of their family during your stay. The food is amazing: self brewed coffee and delicious omelet in the morning and the best dal bhat in the evening! We had a wonderful time here and really recommend staying here if you want a peace and quiet stay!
