Google
I am a huge fan of boba tea and honestly I wasn’t impressed with this place. The prices are on the lower side and the service is good, but the taste/flavor just isn’t there. I only drank half my drink before just deciding to throw it away. We only got milk tea so the other teas might be better? The boba balls have very little flavor and are not sweet at all. Could have just been a bad day but I’m most likely not going to go back to find out.

Google
Got the Hokkaido Oolong Milk Tea and loved it! Boba was some of the softest I've had. They let you choose both the level of sugar and ice in your drink. Prices are very reasonable. Staff were bubbly and always smiling. Fun and cheerful atmosphere. Seating is limited, but there weren't too many people when I went. Super close to public transit. There is free parking at the back of the building.

Google
So happy that I stopped by to try Ding Tea! 🧋The friendly and welcoming service is just as pleasing as the teas and slushies! I ordered a traditional milk tea for myself and a passion fruit slushie for my children. Both were DELICIOUS! 🤤 I highly recommend stopping by - especially if you're looking for something refreshing to drink! ✨

Google
Ding Tea is so good. It’s a cute little shop with a gigantic flower wall for all of your insta photos. The service was quick and friendly. I highly recommend their most popular drink the signature milk tea with boba. Their boba is a lighter brown color versus the regular black boba found else where. It’s a little more of a chewier consistency but very delicious.

Google
this is undoubtedly the best bubble tea i’ve tried in the twin cities. i love the mango milk tea, half sweet is perfect for me. love the golden boba too!! definitely give this place a shot!!

Jenny Z

Google
Best bubble tea store in town! Really love the golden boba they use and the taste of the tea was also very nice.

Google
Ding Tea never disappoints. I love it on the west coast, and I still love them in the Midwest. No smoothies, but all their iced drinks are perfect. Don’t be fooled by their boba, they’re not black but they’re delicious! Chewy goodness perfection.

Google
Stopped by here after buying books from Black Garnet Books and the drinks+service was great! Would love for them to have a no ice in drinks option someday.

Yelp
I recently visited Ding Tea St. Paul, and I was impressed with their variety of drinks. I ordered the classic milk tea with tapioca pearls, and it was delicious--just the right balance of sweetness and creaminess. The tapioca pearls were perfectly chewy, which made the experience even better. The staff were super friendly and helped me navigate the menu since it was my first time there. I also loved the option to customize the sweetness and ice levels, which allowed me to get the drink exactly how I like it. The shop itself had a cozy vibe, and even though it was a bit busy, the service was quick. Definitely going back for my next boba fix!

Yelp
Quick and easy boba! They have a pretty diverse menu. We asked the cashier for recommendations and she was super sweet, but basically read off the entire menu as recommendations They have some seating for drinks and cute decor. I got the Jasmine milk tea and it wasn't bad, just nothing to come back again for.

Yelp
After spending a summer in China, I'm always looking for good bubble tea. Drink: I've only tried the traditional milk tea with tapioca pearls. Can't go wrong. Staff + Shop: so kind, never too busy that you can't sit or wait too long. It's not in the nicest area though, so keep that in mind. You can park in the back lot and walk through the back door. It's fun and reminds me of Asia inside. Might not mean much to some people, but I like the treat when I happen to be in the area!
google avatar

Yelp
Coming from the Bay Area, Ding Tea is still one of my favorite boba shops and I'm glad to have found one in St. Paul. I got the strawberry black tea and it just hit the spot with a real strawberry flavor (as apposed to fake syrups), strawberry chunks, and the tea flavor present. I also like that the drink is shaken - really does make a difference!

Yelp
Super thankful to have Ding Tea in the cities. They have a wider range of drinks, and especially toppings, than most places here, so if it's your first time be adventurous and try something different! My go-to is Wintermelon Milk Tea with Aloe, and it hits every time. Note that they don't do standard tapioca, but the golden boba they make in-house is a great alternative. Pro-tip: check out the posters in the hallway to see what their latest drinks are! The menu isn't updated with these, and they can be really creative. Service is quick, and the interior is serviceable for dine-in. They have a very nice photo wall as well! Definitely check out Ding if you're even a passing boba fan.

Yelp
Love Ding Tea! I always stop here for my boba fix when I'm in the office. There is parking directly behind the Strip mall and there is also a parking lot on the opposite side of the alley. You can enter through the back or the front. So many options! My favorite is the taro milk tea. I was actually given a recommendation to try it with sea cream (I usually get cheese foam) and it was so yummy! It had a bit more like a salted caramel flavor. Staff was helpful and friendly and really appreciated the recommendation for my new found favorite!

Yelp
This is one of my go-to boba places in the Twin Cities. Consistently efficient service & good boba. I get their signature milk tea with 50% sugar & their golden boba always seems fresh & perfectly chewy. It's still on the sweet side so may go down to lower next time. I tried their apple tea recently and that was refreshing too but I prefer the milk tea more since it's less sweet. The inside has cute decor & it's been a good spot for mtgs though seating is limited. I love that they have a free parking lot in the back too. Def check this place out!
google avatar

Yelp
I've been to Ding Tea a few times and each time I'm not overly impressed but I actually did enjoy the winter melon milk tea I had recently. Their signature milk a couple years ago was just okay to me. They have a smaller seating area but enough for small groups of people. It's pretty nice that they have a parking lot in the back.

Yelp
I love Ding Tea St. Paul. I like that I can adjust the sweetness. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is great for chatting with friends.

Yelp
I love boba but it's always so hard to find good boba places that stand out from the rest and this place is IT! It's soo good , I'm going to be back often I already know it.

Yelp
I made an over-the-phone order, and it was wonderful! It was my first time ordering from Ding Tea, and coming from Cali, I have high expectations of Boba Drinks and this place definitely served it perfectly! Would come back again!

Yelp
Ding Tea is a classic Taiwanese bubble tea/milk tea/boba tea brand! Love that they have a location in St. Paul. I recommend their classic milk tea or oolong milk tea. Always go for 30% sugar and less ice. Big fan of their golden honey tapioca too. In the summer their fruit teas are also refreshing.
google avatar

Kiki V.

Yelp
The service was very helpful in helping us find non caffeinated and non dairy items. Unfortunately, the boba was dense and chewy, not pillowy soft, and the tarp flavor was a little weak. The inside ambience is very cute.

Yelp
Cute little boba shop conveniently located near Master Noodle in St Paul, friends and I had dinner nearby and then popped over for some much needed boba! The space itself had a nice flowery backdrop for photo taking and big windows to let a lot of light in from the front entrance. We were some of the first people in the shop when we went but it quickly got busy, the staff had a tough time keeping up with orders so it took a little while to get, but I had the taro milk tea with boba and it was divine. You can't go wrong with boba, love it!
google avatar

Jenna A.

Yelp
so yummy. great service. the store itself was very clean and staff were so sweet. I got the matcha with boba tasted sweet best matcha I have had in St. Paul. And a kiwi slushy with strawberry pearls.
google avatar

Mark K.

Yelp
Very cute boba shop in St. Paul! There is parking in the lot behind the store which is really nice for this busy area. I got the taro bubble tea (my favorite!) with boba. I drank it so fast I should have gotten two.

Yelp
it was very good I love it so tasty i wis h I can get more but that was good for me even tho I'm not giving a good review but be thankful bye

Yelp
Ding tea is so dinging good! I can say I'll be "shaking for life" from now on! I love the strawberry milk tea! I usually get it 50% less sweet and with less ice. My only complaint is that they need bigger sizes! Also!! They're dairy-free!!
google avatar

Esther J.

Yelp
Yummmm their golden pearls! Yes, please and thank you for existing in St Paul! Their interior is really nice and modern and has that instagrammable vibe. Service has been really good every time I went. The only thing I was surprised with this place was just how incredibly sweet the milk teas were. I've only has the wintermelon milk tea but the 100% sweet was soooo overbearingly sweet I felt my tongue going numb. So next time I tried 75% and it was still too sweet! To the point it was hard to drink. So now I get it at 30% sweetness and sometimes it's perfect but other times it's a tad bit not sweet enough. Wish this were more consistent. Ding tea is among my top three favorite bubble tea shops in the twin cities along with Kungfu tea and Tii Cup. Definitely a must visit for some boba if you're in town.

Yelp
The search for my favorite milk tea in the twin cities may have ended the day that I walked into Ding Tea. This place is legit. It's a cute atmosphere inside with neon signs and a fake flower wall. Parking is never an issue with the private lot on the backside of the strip of businesses. I like how much customization they allow for every drink. You get to choose the sweetness level out of 5 options, the amount of ice out of 5 options, along with several toppings and flavor add ons. I always order straight up milk tea, light sweetness, no tapioca. As plain as it gets. Yet it can go very wrong. But not at Ding Tea. The flavor is robust and it's exactly the type of milk tea that I love. The person I came here with loved the taro milk tea with coconut jelly. With summer coming I foresee many warm afternoons walking around outside sipping on some Ding Tea.
google avatar

Rachel H.

Yelp
I've been to Ding Tea twice and loved it. The first time I went I had a strawberry milk tea with strawberry popping boba based on recommendations from staff. I wasn't a huge fan of this drink, the milk tea was great but the boba felt way too artificial when mixed. The second time I went I ordered a mango yogurt with mango popping boba. WAY better and 100% recommend. I will continue to order them creamy delicious drink every time I go. Located in St. Paul you'll find plenty of parking on the back side and we were greeted immediately. Staff are friendly and helpful if you're unsure what to get.

Yelp
Great location and a nice parking lot in the back. Friendly staff and a wide variety of options from iced boba tea to hot drinks. Super clean interior but the one negative is limited seating. Shout out to the hot ginger tea! I know most come for the iced drinks but don't let the hot tea slip you by. Plus, they are in the $3 range- super affordable. I support this place because the hours are amazing (open late) and they have friendly staff. Just don't plan to have an inside date with a friend. Take your drink on the go for errands, an outdoor walk, or head across the street to Target for more shopping. Enjoy!
google avatar

Yelp
This is a very straightforward boba tea place. Simple but good quality. I recommend the mango yogurt tea with mango popping boba, or the strawberry yogurt tea with rainbow jelly. The yogurt drinks are a great balance between tart (like yogurt tartness) and sweet. Think of mango lassis.
google avatar

Yelp
Fantastic authentic Taiwanese bubble tea place. You can tell because the plastic covers on the bubble tea is written in traditional Chinese characters with phone numbers with +886 on it (Taiwanese international phone code). Their tapioca is clear (instead of the usual brown ones) and always freshly made and the proper amount of chewiness. Sugar and ice levels are customizable except for specialty drinks (always ask). The place is small but they do have a few tables and a small bar to sit at and the decor is cute. There is a small parking lot in the back.

Dee X.

Yelp
So far so good! Pricing is on the more inexpensive side. I mean- can't get cheaper than this! There's parking in the back- behind the building that you can enter from as well. Drinks were decent. Definitely a good spot if you are in the area.

Yelp
I'm always looking for a new place for boba, so I'm so glad this opened up! This place has a super cute floral wall and a neon sign on another wall both perfect for your IG feed! So far, I've tried two drinks here - Hokkaido Oolong Milk Tea and Strawberry Yakult/Yogurt w/ boba. I've never tried Hokkaido anything, so when I saw it on the menu, I was super excited to get it. The milk tea is yummy and creamy, but too sweet for my liking. It also has a unique (in a good way) flavor vs any standard milk tea. Would def give this a try if you're looking to stray away from your standard milk tea. The strawberry yakult/yogurt was recommended to me by honestly everyone I knew, and now, I will recommend it to anyone I meet! It doesn't have a strong yakult flavor at all, a little tart but mostly sweet, and a super refreshing drink! It kind of reminds me of a strawberry hi-chew in a drink form. The boba was more on the chewier side and just tasted like standard boba. Try the strawberry yogurt!!!

Yelp
It was late, they were closing in 20 minutes. As a courtesy, I called ahead to let them know we had a party of 5 and I get it, it was soon closing time. I wanted to make sure it wouldn't be an issue. I told the guy we wouldn't get there until ten minutes before close. The guy said his concern wasn't the time, it was whether they had enough tea. He checked their stock and assured me it was okay to come. We arrived at the time we said we would and the doors were locked (it wasn't even closing time!). I called again and the guy just said sorry, they were closed. I wish he would have just said over the phone that it was close to closing time and unfortunately they couldn't serve a party of 5 that late. What a waste of time. We will not be returning.

Yelp
New and worth a try! I'm more of a milk tea person minus the boba but I would definitely not skip the boba. More specifically the golden boba. We got- Taro milk tea with golden boba- taste delicious! You can never go wrong with taro. Chocolate Milk Tea Strawberry Milk Tea- tart strawberry flavor. Reminds me of strawberry cheesecake. The winter melon milk tea w/ golden boba it tastes like milk tea with a hint of maple syrup. Hokkaido ( caramel) black milk tea with golden boba- this one tasted like a sweetened caramel light coffee taste to me.
google avatar

Andrea K.

Yelp
One of my favorite bubble tea shops in the area. Great flavor and always fast to come out. They only have golden boba, but tastes the same to me so no worries here!

Yelp
First time trying Ding Tea since my cousins highly recommended it. Unfortunate to say it did not live up to the hype. Even my cousins were disappointed this time. They have a parking lot in the back which is convenient. The service was good but a little slow. I think the employees might be new? There were only 3 people working and it was busy so they were behind. We got a total of 8 drinks and it took about 24 minutes waiting time. The lady who ordered 3 drinks after us got it first, which is a little disappointing. Tried 3 different flavors this time: Taro Milk Tea - it was bland and the taro powder was extra powdery. It did not taste good at all. If you like taro milk tea, Kungfu Tea is still my favorite go to from all the boba places I've been to. But hey, you gotta try to know if you like it and we did not. 1/5 Jasmine Milk Teas- These were also bland. My cousins had these before and it tasted better. The one was ice was ok (3/5). The one without ice is extra bland and all we could taste was the jasmine tea but not much of the milk part (2/5). Yes we got it without ice since the drive was far so didn't want it to water down but the ratio of milk and tea needs to be adjusted corrected. I think more tea was added but not the milk part. This really ruin the drink. And for almost $5 a drink with no boba, it definitely did not live up to the price. Signature milk Tea- this was probably the best drink from the batch. The flavor was there and the tea was not overpowering from the milk part. Even though I got the normal sugar level it was not too sweet. Not my favorite type of milk tea but it was better than the other 2 for sure. 4/5. I recommend to get the signature milk tea or get maybe normal jasmine tea with ice regular sugar maybe for better taste. Don't get the taro unless you like powdery taste. Social distancing wise, the were tape if you enter from the backorder but none when you are standing in line. So.... yea. Not sure if I'll return but I think they need more help during the weekend. Three people were definitely not enough for the volume especially on a holiday to be honest. The service was ok. They seem pretty stressed In my opinion. I'll give it a 2.5/5 if I could but round up to 3 because it's newer here and could be room for improvement.
google avatar

Ciara P.

Yelp
The best place to get taro milk tea. It's always really quick service and cute aesthetics inside. They have great fruit teas too if you don't like boba
google avatar

Tanu P.

Yelp
Their boba is a perfect texture! I highly recommend the Hokkaido milk tea it's SO good. Parking is in the back and is pretty plentiful

Olivia H.

Yelp
Guava fruit tea was delicious and they were not terribly expensive and quick. Will come again.
google avatar

Amy K.

Yelp
Ding tea is probably one of the top three boba places I frequent in Minnesota. There golden boba is incomparable. They have the perfect amount of sweetness and qq (chewiness) that no other place have been able to mimic. My go to drinks here are the signature milk tea (50% sweetness) and their Hokkaido black milk tea (30% sweetness with boba and red bean). IMO their Hokkaido milk tea is sweeter than their signature so I often get it less sweet (especially since I add boba and red bean as the toppings).
google avatar

Kimberly L.

Yelp
The boba is sooooo good!! I also sometimes get their crystal boba and coffee jelly. This place is the best boba I've head in the twin cities thus far. Service is always quick and the dinning area is perfect for cute pictures.
google avatar

Yelp
Ooooooooooh so good! I got their Brown Sugar Milk Tea with Golden Boba I was craving Thai tea, and since I'm new to the area I did a quick Yelp search and came across this place quickly. My first thought was that it looked very Instagrammy online, which (in my experience) means everything is pretty and overpriced and not as delicious as it looks. But that was 15 minutes ago when I was young and naive and now I'm seasoned with wisdom -- obviously, I still chose to go, and I'm glad I did. It's right on University, conveniently right along the Green Line and there's plenty of parking in back if you feel like driving. Their menu was impressive! Everything looked delicious and there were SO many flavor options. For that reason, I threw away my mission for Thai tea and just asked the owner for his recommendation. He said the Brown Sugar Milk Tea was popular, and I said "ok ya let's do that." It's so good. Sweet, but not too sweet like bubble tea tends to be, SO much boba, and not too much ice. I inhaled it faster than I'd like to admit. The staff were super sweet and COVID cautious, and the interior was admittedly really cute (which is why it's Instagrammy, obviously). My only complaint is that it's not closer to my apartment :)
google avatar

Shelby S.

Yelp
Went to Ding Tea again and ordered the matcha latte.... I really love matcha and the drink just tasted like milk to me. I couldn't really taste the matcha at all. I've been here twice now and either time I was not really impressed by my drinks. Either I'm ordering wrong or the flavors/tastes are just not there for me. Paid 6+ for a small drink which also is a bit on the pricey side.
google avatar

Sue L.

Yelp
I'm from out of town and was recommend by a friend that been here. So glad I went there the milk tea was really good and was able to taste the flavor of the tea unlike the few other places I been too. Ordered the Hokkaido black milk tea and Hazelnut milk tea. The tea was strong and not so sweet. Really recommend this place
google avatar

Julie T.

Yelp
Checked out this place during their soft opening and their grand opening this weekend! The place is bright, clean, roomy and modern! They looked like they are ready! Full crew in the background and despite the craziness I was able to get one of the owner to pose for my photo. I ordered the monster drink aka brown sugar bubble tea and the match tea. The bubbles are seriously very good, so soft and chewy. Tasted just like Asia bubble tea places. The price is typical for bubbles tea places. Lots of parking at the back of this shop lot. It shares the same building as Magic Noodle! When MD reopens again, I will be hitting both places all at once! Good luck on your grand opening weekend! You can do it. The line will likely wrap around the block. Congrats again!
google avatar

Mary Y.

Yelp
As a first timer here, I want to give Ding tea a five for the drink i got. I got the Aloe Vera Peach fruit juice. This drink was delicious. I do want to try this place another time to see other options would be as good as the drink I got. One little problem I would say is that the drink I got was very sweet. However , that doesn't stop me from trying this place again.

Yelp
PSA to all my boba babes: You're not doing yourself any justice if you haven't tried Ding Tea St. Paul! It's the first Ding Tea in MN and it's so. freakin. GOOD. I've tried a good chunk of their menu and haven't been disappointed. I'm a HUGE fan of their taro milk tea, wintermelon milk tea, and the passion fruit yakult. We're talking some serious delicious flavor here. Drinks are customizable in the sweetness department so if you like it sweet or not too sweet - you can make that call. Super cute interior that's nice and bright. If your camera eats/drinks first, you'll be happy to hear that they have a giant flower wall and lots of natural lighting to play with. Located by Magic Noodle, there's also plenty of parking in the back, including an overflow parking lot. TLDR; go try their drinks. Totally worth it.
google avatar

Yelp
New #boba pace in town and we are loving it. We all got the Jasmine Milk Green Tea. 1. Location: 8.5/10 It is quite accessible by car, train or on foot. There is a small parking lot in the back of the shop so you don't have to parallel park 2. Taste: 9/10 The tea taste was just on point: it is not too strong but it is prominent enough that you could tell it is good jasmine tea. The drink is not overly sweet, granted I got 50% sugar but next time I may get 70% because their sweetness is a little lighter than other places. I love the Golden Boba and my friend got double orders of the Golden Boba so next time I will probably do that lol 3. Overall: 9/10 Pleased with the option I got. Good taste and cute place. Prices are quite reasonable. Their Monster Boba Latte looks pretty good too so I may try that next time!

Yelp
I had my first experience at Ding Tea yesterday and I really enjoyed my experience. I was a bit nervous to order because I hadn't been there before and was overwhelmed by the choices but I was met with extreme helpfulness. They also have a beautiful flower wall that's perfect for those who like to Instagram. I was also nervous about parking but they have parking right behind the building plus an overflow lot so it's absolutely not an issue. I can't wait to go back and try some of their other menu goodies. I got the Hokkaido oolong tea with golden boba and it was deeeeelish!

Jada T.

Yelp
One of my favorite bubble tea spots. I wish it was closer to home. I love that the drinks are not overly sweet, the flavor of tea is strong, boba is nice and soft. Highly recommend to any bubble tea lovers.

Yelp
Still one of the best boba tea place in the twin city. The comfortable and clean environment help this place becomes our regular weekly visits. The service is always consistent , very friendly and makes the drink consistently well. Definitely recommend to visit this place for pleasant Boba Drinks
google avatar

Yelp
Solid milk tea and boba fixings. They day I when, they didn't have any coffee drinks. But found good tea alternative. Very instagram friendly.
google avatar

Zoua V.

Yelp
The inside of the shop is so pretty. The drink is okay. It's more on the sweet side for normal sweet. I got the passion fruit tea and it's a little too sweet. The service is good.

Claire B.

Yelp
Really really great tea! And they always have a sweet staff that's works hated to get drinks out as fast as possible. I always bring friends here who visit, I get the Hokkaido oolong milk tea with golden boba.
