My wife and I stayed at the Dingle Skellig as part of our honeymoon. It is a very nice hotel a few minutes walk from the town. The breakfast is good, with a great view of Dingle Bay, a lovely way to start the day. The fine dinning is probably the best place to eat in Dingle. Gavin, one of the hotel managers, was excellent. He looked after us and checked in a couple of times during our stay to ensure everything was going well. A real gentleman and exactly the sort of person you want to speak with while staying in a hotel. We will definitely come back.

This one is a dealers choice of hotel stays. Very quiet, quaint & enjoyable. Nestled along the harbor it was exactly the kind of place I enjoyed being after the hustle and bustle of Dublin. Our room overlooked a field with livestock to remind us we weren’t in the city anymore! Super friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms & a wonderful restaurant and lounge for the times when you didn’t feel like making the walk into town. That would be the only “downside” if you can call it that. It is a bit of a walk to the shops and restaurants. If you happen to get caught in an Irish rainstorm you better enjoy a pub for a few hours or plan on getting soaked walking back to the hotel. Make sure you enjoy breakfast overlooking the bay. Great way to start your mornings.

A wonderful little cozy spot with nice amenities, good food, friendly staff, and comfortable rooms. The AC situation is a bit spotty but I was able to make do quite well with the hotel-provided desk fan. Nice views outside my window as well.

We had a short two night stay at the skelligs hotel, and I only wish we had a longer one. It's such a lovely, warm, welcoming and friendly hotel. Staff are lovely they couldn't have been more attentive. Great for young kids, with a playroom onsite with great amenities and a lovely pool also. Fantastic breakfast buffet in the morning and delicious hot breakfasts available also. Fantastic bar food in the evening also, hats of to the chefs 👌😊 would highly recommend. 5 stars all round for everything 👏👏

From check in to check out it was excellent. Food was outstanding and the service was exceptional. Loved the view from the restaurant and the breakfast was awesome. Nice 5 minute walk into town.

I have stayed here twice now and I’m not sure why I came back. The hotel is at best 3 star. The rooms are very tired and worn. I had to move rooms three times as the rooms had a funny smell, hairs around the room and in the bath, rust in the bath, jam on the bedside tables and mould around the windows. I still wasn’t totally happy with my final room but the rather unfriendly receptionist pretty much told me that was it. Swimming pool was very cool for babies so we only used it once. Restaurant staff were friendly but the bar food is overpriced for what you are getting. It’s in a beautiful location overlooking the water but totally overpriced for the level of cleanliness and service.

Yelp
I would definitely stay at this lovely hotel again! I recommend that you make this hotel your choice too! The hospitality, well-appointed, clean rooms, friendly staff, and dining really wowed me! We certainly enjoyed premium, delicious meals for both breakfast and dinner served be the most professional staff. You'll enjoy breathtaking views, relaxing lounges, multiple dining options, plus an added bonus is that this hotel is located within walking distance to nearby pubs and stores in Dingle! What a wonderful hotel!

Yelp
We came here for a friend's wedding (we are from the United States). The room was very clean, came with robes and slippers, fancy soap, and was very spacious. We didn't realize the our booking also included breakfast which was honestly so awesome. The breakfast is great and you can order a dish and also get additional items from the buffet. I would definitely recommend the salmon and the ham hash. The staff were all lovely and very polite. The hotel is on the water with gorgeous views. If we are ever in The Dingle area we will be booking with this hotel again.

Yelp
During or 12 day Ireland coach tour, we spent a day in Dingle. We had a late lunch, and decided to just do a light dinner at the hotel that evening. My wife had the beet salad, and I had the caesar salad, with vegetable soup. She's a big fan of beets, and really liked her salad. Mine was good, and the soup was very good. Over the course of our time in Ireland, we learned that they like to emulsify any soup they make, especially vegetable. So it doesn't have chunks of vegetables in it, like we're used to in the states. But it tastes just like vegetable soup! I'm a big fan, and the hotel's version was very good.

Yelp
This is the best hotel I've ever stayed in, & I'm not exaggerating. I was here a few days ago for one night. The service was great, as was my room. It's pricey, but you get what you pay for. The Skellig has everything you can think of- a pool, hot tub, steam room, gym, a breakfast buffet, & even laundry. It's also close to downtown Dingle. I wish I stayed here longer. I'll come back if I come to Ireland again.

Yelp
Beautiful scenery from the hotel. Right on water which is gorgeous! Very nice hotel. We arrived at the Dingle Skellig Hotel after a long day of exploring the Ring of Kerry. The pool and indoor hot tub were awesome. Swim caps must be worn and children under 18 are kicked out of the pool at 7pm. They offer different aerobics classes, some even in the water, for patrons to take advantage of. The only reason I don't give the hotel a 5 star is because of the food. My dad said his burger ordered from the restaurant in the bar area, was the worst burger he'd ever had. The veggie pizza which I had was fairly good, but the soda bread which was served as an appetizer was a little stale. Maybe it's because we came on the off season?

Yelp
Great hotel! We had green pasture with cows right outside our window and the beautiful water views to the other side. Beds are super comfy too. Included breakfast buffet is great with awesome views! Short walk into town and Dingle has great shopping and restaurants, but word to the wise - make a reservation if you plan on eating in town on Saturday night. Everywhere was packed.

Yelp
We LOVE the Skellig! We have stayed here many times, over many years and they just keep getting better & better! On our last trip, they were so accommodating and helped us with everything we needed, including special food for our son. They really feel like family and we miss them when we come home! The location is beautiful and the views from the hotel are spectacular!

Yelp
What a wonderful hotel - very short walk to Dingle Town and a beautiful bay view. There are also paths to take a nice hike. The service was terrific - everyone was very friendly and helpful. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms quite large. We took advantage of the very nice spa and enjoyed a nice therapeutic massage which was great after sitting in the car. The spa has a nice relaxation area and hot tub that overlooks the bay and dry sauna and steam room. Great to rejuvenate after traveling. The breakfast had many selections and the food in the bistro and bar was very good and fresh fish was delicious. I definitely would recommend a stay here while in Dingle.

Yelp
Great rooms, very nice staff and great location with beautiful views. Shout out to Elton for being the best bar tender ever! We will be back whenever we visit Dingle again

Yelp
Fabulous place. Friendliest hotel on earth. Nice secluded location, lots of room, very nice and hospitable staff. Would gladly visit again.

Yelp
Booked a suite the mount eagle suite to be exact. A living room with a bedroom. Fabulous! It had a large balcony that over looked the bay. That first night in the pub we met Pat , Joel and Gerty we had a ball. They introduced us to Mary who play the piano for anyone who wanted to sing. I had told Pat that I had worked at Harrahs club in Lake Tahoe back stage in the south shore room and had worked with the "Rat Pack all but Ole blue eyes and Mary thought I knew him so had me sing "New York New York. Great place great people and a great place to visit.

Yelp
I'm hesitant on how to write this review. The hotel was very nice and the staff were friendly. My only complaint was that the guests staying here both nights were out right rude. The first night around 12 am, someone kept trying to swipe their key card into our room. It kept going for about two minutes until they realized they weren't at their room. The guests above us were very loud and making loads of noise up until about 1:30 am. I had to put ear plugs in to fall asleep. The second night was worse because someone kept knocking on a door for a solid 10 minutes, saying "hello." It was really scary to be honest, I have no idea why they would be knocking for so long at 3:30 am. However, the bar was absolutely fantastic, the waiters were fantastic and the dessert was AMAZING. If you stay here try the apple tart, you will not regret it!

Yelp
Tom was amazing at check in. We thoroughly enjoyed all the staff, the bar, and breakfast. Gorgeous views.

Yelp
Terrible hotel, the rooms are not only gross, but service is worse I was treated with disrespect and I'm not one to usually write negative reviews but this absolutely called for it.

Yelp
Skelligs is a great location if you have kids in tow. The place is very child friendly, during the summer they run kids clubs and they also have a creche where you can drop your little ones in if you just want to get an hour for dinner or whatever. The swimming pool is good for kids also. Is one of the most popular hotels in Dingle so can fill up quickly in peak times, and price is also pretty high being about €170 a night for a room. Breakfast in the morning is absolutely excellent and the staff are a cut above in terms of their service and friendliness. The bar is great for a pint and a bit of an unwind too. Overall, you get what you pay for and I would recommend this venue to anyone as I have stayed here more than 5 times and never ever left feeling unsatisfied.

Yelp
Only made use of the spa. Massage was great. Tub soak amazing. Sauna steam and dry with outside hot tub overlooking the bay. Lovely and relaxing. Changing room area is small.

Yelp
Quite fancy, indoor and outdoor pool, ponds, big relaxation room with fireplace, they have their own pub with live music and a spa where people have mud or moss or something smeared on them. Their buffet was better than most in that they did not dry out the black pudding. Still only walking distance to town. Bit more fancy than I needed being a tourist to see music and scenery. I never used the pools and was not interested in the spa treatments. But a very big well decorated place.

Yelp
We stayed here for two nights - we had a junior suite which was nice enough. They only complaint we would have is the bed is the absolute worst bed I've ever slept on. The Coastguard restaurant was amazing. Greg, the manger (I believe) was so accommodating and nice. The service was great and the food was fantastic. We were in Ireland for 14 days and this was by far the best meal we had the whole trip.
