One of the hardest things I encounter when planning our vacations is where to stay. Safety, cleanliness and comfort are my top 3 priorities. After that, location and staff. This wonderful Inn exceeded my expectations from beginning to end. We had 2 rooms with a connecting door, and it was like having our own 2 bd/2bath cottage. The rooms were spotless and well-constructed. The beds were very comfortable and there was little to no noise from neighbors. Restaurants were within walking distance, and the Inn provided a hot breakfast every morning. One extra perk - the laundry facilities were on site and seriously clean. It was like being at home only so much better!

The Dinosaur Inn in Vernal is honestly one of the best places to stay in town. The rooms are always super clean, comfortable, and well taken care of. You can tell the staff actually cares about the place, because everything feels organized and welcoming from the moment you check in. The beds are comfortable, the rooms have everything you need, and it never feels crowded or noisy. One of the things that really stands out is the breakfast. Instead of just a basic, boring hotel breakfast, the Dinosaur Inn has fresh and tasty options that make your morning way better. It feels like they go the extra mile to make guests happy. The staff is friendly too — if you need anything, they’re quick to help and they always treat you with respect. The location is also great. It’s close to restaurants, stores, and of course the dinosaur museum and other fun places around Vernal. Whether you’re visiting for a trip, a tournament, or just passing through, it’s easy to get where you need to go. Overall, the Dinosaur Inn is clean, comfortable, friendly, and convenient. It’s the type of place you’d happily stay at again. If you’re coming to Vernal, it’s definitely a great choice.

We recently stayed at this motel and had a wonderful experience. The location is excellent. The room was comfortable and well-maintained. The staff were pleasant, friendly, and willing to help with any request. Our group was quite large, but the motel did a great job accommodating everyone. Breakfast is available on-site. Make sure you check out the cinnamon rolls, which were fresh and delicious. Bonus points for being within walking distance of a great Italian spot for lunch or dinner. Regards, Corvette Club of Utah

There is a reason why this hotel is the #1 in Vernal. I'll start off by saying I normally go to a Marriott brand hotel as I am part of their loyalty program and I'm rarely disappointed with them. However, when I looked at booking one of the Marriott brand hotels in Vernal, they were about $100/night more, so I started looking at other hotels. The reviews were great for the Dinosaur Inn & Suites, so I booked it. When we arrived, we noticed that it was an older 2 story motel, and I started to question my choice. The check-in took about 1 minute total, we went to our room and were pleasantly surprised by it. The 2 queen beds were very comfortable, there was a refrigerator and microwave along with a flatscreen tv. There was a sink/dressing room outside of the bathroom. Tile floors and walls in the bathroom, the towels were not the thin cheap ones, but very thick. The breakfast was your standard hotel buffet, which was good. We loved everything about the place and highly recommend it.

Another good experience for a quick stay overnight. Rooms were well appointed and spacious for those with mobility issues. Parking worked out well thanks to the nice night staff. Location was good and in the heart of town. Breakfast was average in both the staff and the meal served compared to some of the others we had on this trip.

The hotel was clean and well kept. I was surprised when we walked in. It smelled clean and was updated. The breakfast was better than I had ever had in a hotel. Fresh cinnamon rolls, breakfast burritos and more. The staff was wonderful. We enjoyed our night there.

Clean, comfortable, spacious rooms. Easy to find and laid out well. Bath products like soap are in dispensers, which I appreciate for sustainability. The included breakfast was surprisingly good & filling: breakfast burritos, scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits & gravy, yogurt, fruit, breakfast breads, make your own waffles. Plus beverages. We would definitely stay here again!

Vernal is a really interesting town and it can be a bit difficult to discern what's truly a quality establishment and what's not since the whole town is rather kitschy (in the best way possible). Don't let the large cartoon dinosaur sign out front fool you, Dinosaur Inn & Suites is in the former camp as it's an excellent motel. The motel is close to Dinosaur National Monument and it's an easy drive. Our room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The shower was also excellent and they had complimentary breakfast, which was fantastic. The prices here are also great and it's just a great motel all around!

Wonderful hotel! We enjoyed 3 nights in an very comfortable executive suite. The extra living area made for relaxing evenings after long days out exploring. Breakfast was fresh and tasty every morning. Staff was friendly and helpful. We couldn't have asked for more :)

Best hotel I've ever stayed at! We got the king size room. Very comfortable bed. The staff was so friendly and gave us some local sight seeing tips. Room comes with free breakfast served from 6:30am-9:30am Coffee and juice is provided. The room comes with microwave, mini fridge, and a big tv. Our room had a couch and a small desk and chair. There is an ironing board, hair dryer, lotion, hand soap, body wash and shampoo. Post cards available in the lobby. We loved that we stayed here! We might even stay for another night because we loved it so much! Highly recommend this place if you are passing through!

Spacious and clean room. Main Street noise was a bit intrusive. The door on my unit had been kicked in and repaired which I found alarming. Breakfast was the usual but served to order. It was still the same old steam table food but I couldn't see it closely. I prefer to serve myself. The a/c was noisy especially when the compressor came on.

Clean room, super soft sheets, comfy bed, great free breakfast (I love the self-making waffle makers) & even had real butter & honey pats! Staff met all our requests!

There's not a massive number of reviews, but there's a reason this place is 5 stars. It's the whole package. It's NOT a chain. Yea. The owners nice, and they made a huge effort to handle things like breakfast properly during COVID. The rooms are large, clean, and bright. The price is good, and the location perfect. It's right in the middle of town. There's not a lot else to say, except you need this on your short list of places to stay.

We stayed here for our trip to Dinosaur National Monument. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was comfortable and quiet, the price was reasonable, and the breakfast that was included was great. We will definitely stay here again the next time we're in Vernal.

What a wonderful place to stay! We booked last minute due to a change in our plans and the folks at Dinosaur were incredible. We love to support local businesses as often as we can and this is a family owned space and this family takes a lot of pride in making the stay and accommodations just right. In house breakfast hits the spot and beds are really comfortable. Everyone in my party agreed we'd stay again if ever in Vernal.

Budget motel. Good for late night check in. Room smelled clean. Good location along the main drag in Vernal UT. No loud noises or any nonsense. Good option for exploring dinosaur monument nearby.

This is a great place to stay. We stayed in the king size bedroom. Bed is comfortable. Room is super clean. You have a microwave, Kurig coffee maker, mini refrigerator, desk, comfortable chair & ottoman to read. Centrally located to everything plus close to the state parks. Staff is friendly. They offer a hot breakfast that we didn't try, but looked delicious. Pool is warm & clean with clean towels. Will definitely stay here again.

We travel a lot and were surprised to find this gem of a motel at a very reasonable price! Clean room with some nice touches. Definitely upscaled for a motel. The room was spacious- made the king bed look small! The shower was lovely with good water pressure and temperature. The only recommendation I would add is to bring your own pillows. The pillows were too poofy for our liking. We were tempted to stay another night, but we are heading East and would have to double back. If you come through Vernal, definitely consider staying here!

This place is amazing! Seriously amazing - I booked here because of the reviews even though its a 'motel' style place. You can tell when you pull up that its well cared for - definitely pride in ownership by the staff here. We had a king room and walked into a large, clean and most importantly, cool room to relax inside. Plenty of towels and TP and room to move - already beats the Hilton we stayed at in Denver. I was bummed we couldn't stay more than one night. Breakfast is free and taken in a room off where you check in. They also have outdoor seating if you wish. The food is freshly cooked and very tasty. You MUST try their cinnamon rolls...I expected something out of a packet but this tasted like it came from an artisan bakery. Fabulous! I'm writing my reviews from our summer roadtrip now that its over and this hotel was one of our best stays, if not THE best one. Highly, highly recommend.

This is the place to stay!!! Due to traveling for business, this was my home-away-from-home for a few months. It is clean, well priced, yummy breakfast, and the staff are all so friendly!

Great experience, clean, modern, and with good amenities. Enjoyed my one-night stay at the Dinosaur Inn and Suites. Friendly staff checked me in early, and upgraded me to a larger room (complimentary). Great amenities (keurig coffee maker, fridge, and microwave in the room. I really liked how they had pump dispensers for hand soap, lotion, shower gel, and shampoo, but ALSO small containers of all the above plus conditioner. I'm eco-conscious so I was happy. Comfy bed with many good pillows. Good breakfast with service (you could order eggs, burritos, etc) along with self-service waffles. Everything was so clean!

My fiancé and I stayed here for two nights while visiting Dinosaur National Monument (Utah side). We chose this hotel due to its affordable cost and location. It's about a 25 min drive to Dinosaur NM and located near a bunch of restaurants and gas stations. Some nice perks include free parking, free WiFi, and a complementary hot/cold breakfast served every morning. Due to covid, they have a menu where you choose what you want and someone will be there to assist you. It was more like a "grab and go" type of breakfast but we didn't mind because it was a great breakfast while on our way to Dinosaur NM. I also have to commend the staff that they are doing a great job practicing safe Covid guidelines. They were very friendly and hospitable too. They always greeted us whenever we walked through the door. We booked a room with a king bed. The room was clean and spacious. It had a flat screen TV, microwave, mini fridge, and an office desk with a chair. Although the bed was comfy, the pillows were a little too soft for my liking. The bathroom was nice and it looked like it was remodeled. What I liked about it is that the bathroom was separated with a toilet, shower, and sink (which you can close the door) and then there was an additional sink just outside the bathroom with plenty of counter space. It was very beneficial because my fiancé can be in the bathroom showering while I was able to do my make up and get ready at the same time. The only con I have to say is that the walls are pretty thin. We could hear our neighbors from both sides of our room. Overall, I give this place a solid 4 stars. With the nice staff and its affordable price compared to other hotels in Vernal, I can see us staying here the next time we visit Dinosaur NM.

Last minute I changed my reservation on Booking.com from Comfort Inn to Dinosaur Inn and Suites. It was a few dollars more, but I am so glad I made the change! The room was huge and clean, and the owners prepare a breakfast for you (you choose what you want from a menu), rather than providing a measly 'grab and go' like the big chains. Highly recommend!

This little place is the cutest! So clean, large rooms, pool with pool towels and a nice breakfast variety. It has an old Americana look on the outside but inside all is modern and well kept. It's family friendly and easy to walk around the town

We stayed here for a few nights during our hiking trip and couldn't be happier with our experience! The rooms were clean and the beds were super comfortable. Made to order breakfast was included and it was delicious and perfect to start our day! The gentleman who worked there helped us pick out some of the greatest hiking spots that I've ever been to and he (and the rest of the hotel staff) were so friendly and helpful. We will absolutely stay here again!

We stayed here for a month on business and really loved it! The owners (Cody and Shalene) are so kind and attentive...as is the rest of the staff! Very clean, updated rooms. This is the best of the best!

Just finished up a two night stay while visiting Dinosaur National Monument. We stayed in a family suite that was super clean, very well laid out, and perfect for 3 adults and 2 kids. The kids loved the jetted tub. The only thing missing really was a slightly bigger table/area to eat at/work at in the room. The best part of our stay was definitely the wonderful staff. They were helpful and very friendly. Additional pluses were the pool, great breakfast options, and laundry room (which we definitely needed after camping the 3 nights prior to arrival).

It was as all of reviews said. Clean, friendly, and the rooms were not only nicely remodeled but sound proof as well.

Comfortable, Spacious, Good Breakfast Dinosaur Inn is the non-chain motel trying it's best. The property is attractive, the rooms are surprisingly large and everything is clean. We stayed there one night before and one night after a 5-day rafting trip on the Green River in nearby Dinosaur National Monument. This place was perfect for our needs. We could park right in front of our room to load and unload a pile of gear. The room was very large making it easy to organize our stuff. Breakfast is a high point. There is even a chef making fresh omelets and pancakes. Prices were reasonable. I would definitely return.

We stayed here for only one night and wanted to stay longer. Very comfortable room, really nice people, WONDERFUL breakfast. If we are ever back in Vernal we will stay here again. Will recommend to family who will go to Dinosaur Nat'l Monument.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It's clean and updated, breakfast was pretty good, and they've minimized buffet contact (though the waffle maker and drink dispensers are shared with all other guests, so there are contact points. We had the executive suite, which was really roomy and comfortable for the 3 of us (kid used pullout couch). Nice keurig coffee maker and a fridge. Queen suites looked nice, not huge rooms, but definitely comfortable. Be aware if you have mobility issues, the executive suite shower is within the jacuzzi tub, so you have to lift your leg way up to get in the shower. Okay for us, but maybe not easy for all. Nice and clean, though, and I liked that they have refillable soap and lotion dispensers by the sink and body wash and shampooing the shower, so there's less waste (they had one set of little bottles, if that's your thing). The location is awesome, too. You can walk to restaurants (2 blocks), across the street are 2 nice shops, and you could walk to the natural history museum further down 40 if needed. Oh, and the bed was SO comfortable! Best bed on our vacation.

Stayed one night here...could have stayed more! Staff was incredibly friendly, lobby was very nice and clean, and the continental breakfast was beyond a continental breakfast. The room was huge, bed was a Simmons BeautyRest (Yeah, we checked, because it was that good!), and the bathroom had been totally renovated. All in all, LOVED IT!

Wonderful place to stay! The room was clean, spacious, comfortable and not outdated! Breakfast was delicious! It was a bagged breakfast due to COVID-19 but still delicious! Large cinnamon roll, fresh cooked breakfast burrito and biscuits and gravy were all choices that our family choose. Thank you, Bullock Family at Dinosaur Inn!

Wonderful place. Was delighted to meet Innkeeper Cody. He and his team simply could not be more welcoming. The Inn itself sparkles and is perfectly situated on Main Street. The adjacent restaurant Antica Forma is terrific and the breakfast Cody served was simply great. We loved the whole area and made a mental note to return for an extended stay. We will absolutely stay again at the Dinosaur Inn & Suites when we do.

Make no mistake if your staying in Vernal, this the place. Family run and I mean the whole Family !! The pride that we saw from how clean it was to the grounds to the swimming pool, the best!! The Brothers Breakfast in the morning Wow eggs to order, pancakes to order, true pride was taken in doing it !! Great Breakfast I guess why all the road crews stay there. Super clean, the suites are nice and big. It has cable tvs. It is one of the better hotels in Vernal.

The staff are the owners and they were very helpful and nice. They saw we had a child and upgraded us for free to a beautiful and spacious executive suite. The rooms are very clean and remodeled very nicely. I have stayed at another place in town on a past trip that is more than double the price and not nearly as nice. I would recommend this inn.

I stayed at this hotel while I was on a business trip to Vernal. I picked it because it was not a chain place and it was close to the office I was going to while I was here. The breakfast was amazing every morning, the rooms were clean and the bed comfy. It was close to a library, the Vernal Brewing Company, the 7-11 Ranch Restaurant, and a gas station where I could pick up snacks. It's within walking distance of a dinosaur museum, a local history museum, and a Vernal self guided tour which I enjoyed in my off time from work. Of all the business trips I have gone on, this one was my most favorite and the Dinosaur Inn & Suites was a part of that experience. I hope to return to Vernal with my wife to visit the museums and the VBC again, as well as explore more of the surrounding area in the future. Thanks so much to the Dinosaur Inn & Suites!

Stayed here for a business trip and have to stay it was probably the most pleasant hotel experience I've had. Room was very nice and clean. The bed was very comfortable. At most places I've stayed the breakfast is mediocre and bland, this was probably the best breakfast I've had at a hotel. The gal at the front desk was very nice and helpful as well. Will definitely stay here again on future trips.

This is worth the stop. Comfortable, updated rooms with great beds and bedding. Breakfast is included and it is a family-owned business. People are very friendly and proud of their place. Price is very reasonable. We will be back!

These guys rock! Small family owned business, super friendly people. These brothers will make you the best breakfast, cooked in front of you. I can't say enough good things about these guys and their hotel. One of the best I've been to. Also check out antiqa forms next door, excellent pizza.

We had a great experience at the Dinosaur Inn. First of all we had to change our plans unexpectedly due to emergency dental work. They were very accommodating and understanding. We finally did make it out to Vernal for a night and were very pleased with the level of customer service. It really was refreshing. The room we had was recently renovated and spacious. The motel itself is a solid three star accommodation but extremely clean and comfortable! Breakfast buffet with made to order eggs and pancakes was great. We wished we had more time to stay in Vernal and will definitely stay there again should we return.

If you're in Vernal, this is the spot. The hotel has always been great, but the new owners have made it even better. The rooms are huge, beds are comfortable, they cook eggs and breakfast tacos made to order in the mornings, along with plenty of other options. The two guys running the hotel are incredibly nice and accommodating. To top it off, the nightly rate is inexpensive compared to some of the other hotels in the area.

A wonderful place to stay. Family run. Clean and spacious rooms well furnished. The owners are nice and very helpful. During our six week trip throughout the Rocky Mountains, this was the best inn. (BTW We stayed three nights.) It's good to see that old fashioned graciousness is still around.

I booked this room based on excellent Yelp and other social media site reviews and it did not disappoint. Large, clean rooms that apparently have been recently remodeled. Good, plentiful towels. Comfortable bed. Our king room had a couch, large TV, large dorm refrigerator and a microwave. We didn't need them for this trip but they were all clean and in working condition. The entire property is very clean and neat. The front desk staff was professional and helpful. Best of all was the fantastic hot breakfast with made-to-order eggs, french toast, etc. and two make-your-own waffle makers. My husband was in heaven. And ... drinkable coffee! I cannot say enough good things about the Dinosaur Inn & Suites. A great place at twice the price - and the price was great! I also want to mention that there is a very good pizza restaurant on the property - I'll probably do a separate review but they made authentic Naples-style pizza. Great eats!
