Loved it, this place is amazing! For the first time in my life, I saw real, dinosaur bones. It was such a fantastic experience. There’s a shuttle from the visitor center that takes you to building where is bones. I recommend giving yourself plenty of time to see everything in detail.

I arrived, drummer in tow. Her beat thrummed a dense rhythm a millions of years old. With salt and chalk, my circle was prepared. I leveraged my will into the summoning, into the call, some 65 million years past. A steed worthy of my necromantic power rose from a past; no memory of its likeness remained in humanity's collective histories.

This is our 2nd time here was great my family loved the Quarry and the rangers we all great! Even the bus driver to the quarry mad the time and effort to give my kids a fun time. We also drove through some of the park it has some beautiful views!

Scenic and beautiful area! We hiked the Fossil Discovery and Sound of Silence Trails, and both are fairly easy, but be prepared on the 3.2-mile SoS Trail. We were there at the end of April into the first of May. Flowers were an additional bonus to our hike.

I haven’t been to Dinosaur National Monument since I was a kid. My wife has never been, so we went to check it out. Really enjoyed the info at the monument and learning how many dinosaur bones were found here. The park rangers were very helpful and informal. The scenic drive is very fun and has a lot of interesting things to see including what used to be a ranch at the end.

Fun place for kids who obsessed with dinosaurs. You get to touch real bones and do junior ranger booklet which is fun for the kids and they get to earn a ranger pin at the end. The shuttle bus is every 15 mins to and back. Also there are walking trails with ranger tour which is really cool, takes about 1 hrs walk back to visitor center. We very enjoy our visit.

I did the Jones hole trail and the harpers corner trail, as well as visiting the Quarry exhibit hall. The exhibit hall was well worth the quick stop to see some cool fossils, and harpers corner (last 4 pics) was a fantastic short hike with excellent bang for effort in terms of the final views. Jones hole (first 13 pics) was rather pretty as well, but I didn't particularly think those views were worth the (partially unpaved) drive + overgrown long hike. The other hike I wanted to do also required some unpaved driving, so I actually nixed it at the last minute, not wanting to put my car through more trauma, which I ended up doing anyway making my way out of the park (although I can't be sure if that was actually necessary or if it was just due to a sorely needed "avoid unpaved roads" option in Google maps). Overall, Dinosaur National Monument is a unique and cool stop, but I'm taking off 1 star because of how much of the area is unpaved.

The Quarry Wall embedded with dinosaurs bones is the highlight of Dinosaur National Monument near Jensen in northeastern Utah! It’s incredible touching rocks and fossils that are millions of years old! Park and hike the mile long trail to the museum or take a shuttle with a running commentary. The entire countryside is amazing with rugged rocky hills on one side and the lush Green River valley on the other with a mesa in the background.
