Dionysos Central Hotel

This was my first visit in Dionysos and Cyprus and I'm very pleased. My mom was too. The staff was friendly, the breakfast was delicious and varied. The company of the cats was amazing 😻. Breakfast in the garden was also wonderful🌴. The rooms were clean, the bed was incredibly comfortable! The hotel surroundings were very nice. If I return, I'll definitely stay at this hotel. Plus, the location is great. It's very sad to have to go back... Thank you!🙏❤️ Warm regards to the hotel manager, Mr. Costas, for his support, advice, and kindness. 😊 Ps. For all visitors: buy cat food at the local store. There are many places on the island where you can feed and support them (especially outside the larger cities). 🙏🐈😺

The hotel is situated perfectly, within 2 minute walk to the seafront. The staff are all very helpful and friendly. We were B&B only and the breakfast was very good. The room was very clean and cleaned every day. |The only downside is if you have mobility issues, there are 2 and 3 steps everywhere, even if you're on the ground floor. You may as well have an upstairs room as lift takes you to all floors. |Would definitely go again, and the weather was very nice.

Really good place if you want relax from driving with car near 2 min walk is sea. If go left side about 5 min sandy places near Alexsander hotel and more down for swimming. If you go right port and many restaurants. Location perfect for walking all around. Missing ramps in hotel to many steps. Staff in hotel is really very friendly. Especially from reception Santa! She says the stories about hotel also ready for any help if guests need. For everybody will found good words from welcoming till good bye day! |We are really enjoy the time, same people just don't know how relax and try to found the problems or make for others. Cats yes maybe is not the correct place but they same really cute. I think is not hotel fault but guests who feed them. |Restaurant food really good big portions and not soo expensive. Probably they all is perfect one big good team. No complains and waiting for our next holydays! :) |With big love Leona!

Good value for the price. Receptionist Santa is great. The guests come to her with a problem and they leave with a smile. She turns the 3 star Dionysos into a 5 star hotel. PS: And the night receptionist so friendly as well, invited us on a beer.

Had a great week this week. Hotel is in perfect position to all amenities. Lovely bars and restaurants. Breakfast is plentiful but the same everyday. Short walk to the Harbour and beautiful beaches in the opposite direction. Would be nice to have entertainment here but lots to choose from near by. Would definitely stay again.

Stayed here late November rooms are cleaned everyday. The room we stayed in had a ceiling fan and air condition.The breakfast is plentiful and a wide choice, served 08.00 till 10.00. There is a bus service outside the hotel restaurant 611 takes you to the tombs one way and the watermark the other. The restaurant/bistro attached to the hotel is very good and staff are very helpful. Prices are on a par with other restaurants in the area. Hopefully we will return in the future.

True reflection on this hotel the best point about it is it it’s very central easy to get to everything bars beach and harbour. The staff work so hard to keep things running smooth, the lads who work breakfast are so hard working and never stop. Santa is a lovely lady behind reception too but have to say one lady stands out very rude on reception called Olga. We were put in a so called Deluxe room, bed was comfy with a mini fridge and a safe nothing else stood out for it to say Deluxe in my eyes bod standard at the best . Mouldy bathroom poor finishing throughout the room.|Old drab pics on the wall like off a car boot sale painted shutters like a kid of 12 had done it did not sit on the balcony once the handrail looked well dodgy so gave it a miss . |Breakfast was the same everyday one toaster between everyone so if u wanted toast it was long wait got it cold by the time you got to table put it though once pale then burnt on second go oh and if u want your meals with cats there all over the place. Health and safety would be all over it in the uk. Surrounded by them whilst your eating your meals and they sit on them same chairs/loungers of a day too. The hotel claim|they have signs up stating Dont feed the cats what a load of rubbish not one sign up there as I took pics of all the signs while I was there and pics dont lie . The only sign mentioning any Animals is by the pool saying no Animals allowed but the cats are on the Sun beds and drinking out of the pool.| I suggest to the hotel to read that sign. It’s an old hotel stating it’s 3 star I would say 2 at a push.|There are lots of health and safety issues, I cut my hand on a hand rail and got splinters in it reported it and was still the same when I left the hotel 8 days later. I wasn’t even asked to fill out an accident report? |There are lots of elderly people there who could fall if the rails give way sharp edges pics to follow I was told a regular that not changes have been made to fix any issues for years hello it’s 20/25 here your stating you got a refurbishment 20/18 that’s 7 years ago ! |I was also told that the issue of the handrail would be sorted when they shut down for one month so what happens in between then that’s nearly 3 months away ? |Has the handrail got to give way before you do something it’s a serious health and safety issue here not to be ignored for 3 months . I have put in a formal complaint about all of this with Jet 2 holidays it needs addressing ASAP. I had to go and see the in resort rep twice while I was there and normally wouldn’t complain, but felt it was must on this occasion. After mentioning what had happened with my hand, I thought she may have taken a look at the hand rail for herself but never did. But she did document I had cut my hand. |I have added some photos to to support what iam saying here is valid but I would not return to this hotel as I might bump into Basil Faulty there 😂 ||No doubt after seeing my review they are putting posters up regarding feeding cats and running round with paint brushes to cover themselves!

This hotel is in a great location. You are close to many restaurants, cafes and kiosks. The rooms are clean and modern, and the staff are very friendly. The only reason we have rated 4 stars is because it was very noisy due to our room facing bar street. A small note, I would not say this hotel is disability friendly as there are steps to enter and further steps to get to your rooms. There are lifts to higher floors. The pool area is lovely, the interior in the reception was stunning and overall it's a great hotel. We also loved that the cats are welcomed and even fed and watered.
