We’ve just had a lovely 5 night stay at this hotel. Very good value for money, and very pleasant for a three-star hotel. Staying in December, we didn’t use the pool but it was clearly very clean and well maintained (I saw the staff cleaning the whole area thoroughly every morning). Public areas are also very clean. |Our room was of a very high standard indeed for a three-star hotel, modern, clean and well equipped with a kettle and fridge. Tea supplies were replenished daily. We were also given a large bottle of water, a plate of fruit and a bottle of wine on arrival. The bathroom was modern although it’s a shame they are still using small single use plastic bottles; the shower was great although the screen could do with being larger! The towels were quite old but were clean. Nice to see flannels supplied. The balcony was a very good size and we had a super sea view as well as across to the harbour and Paphos castle.|I’m not sure whether the main air conditioning works in winter, but the ceiling fan did work and was useful.|Food was fairly basic but good enough, although fussier eaters would struggle at dinner. They don’t overcharge for drinks which is great. There is an outdoor eating area too. I would imagine that the buffet servery gets very crowded when the hotel is busy. |All the staff are really lovely, friendly people and our room was cleaned well every day. I was pleased to see that they seem to change towels twice a week rather than daily and that our sheets weren’t changed during our five night stay.|The location of the hotel is great, right near the promenade to the harbour and also close to St Paul’s Pillar and several churches. There was significant road noise when our patio door to the balcony was open but this was minimal when the door was closed.

We stayed for a week over Christmas and thoroughly enjoyed our visit to lovely Paphos. In the main, the hotel is excellent and ideally located near the harbour. Staff are a credit to the hotel, very friendly and helpful. As others have said, particular praise goes to Santa, whose cheery and bubbly personality brightened every day, though all reception staff were great. |Rooms are clean, comfortable and well equipped, and maid service is first rate. Food at breakfast is a little disappointing; continental choices are limited and pastries often undercooked. Otherwise a first rate hotel that merits more than its three star rating. We’d happily visit the Dionysos again.

This is a family run hotel located in town, a short walk to the harbour front. The staff are wonderful, couldn’t have been more helpful and courteous. After booking a package, I emailed hotel direct to request a sea view room upgrade. This was organised for a reasonable supplement, paid on arrival. Room on 3rd floor with good sea view and sunny balcony. Good breakfast buffet. Evening meal buffet plentiful and good quality, hot food. Presentation was a bit lacking and the desserts offer was very poor but we were always too full for pudding anyway. Yes, I would definitely stay here again. Thank you to all staff at Dionysos Hotel for making our holiday so enjoyable.

This hotel is ideally situated in central Pafos and in easy reach of the harbour and seafront.||The hotel itself looks ok if not a little dated. ||Furniture outside is well worn and the pool area is in need of refurbishment around the pool. The rooms are fine no complaints there. The staff are lovely and happy to help.||What let's this hotel badly down is the food served in the hotel dining room. The dining room is small and tables are packed in. The servery area was small with very little choice offered. Worst of all was the very poor quality of food. Cheap ingredients with budget pared down to the bone in our opinion. We stopped eating dinner half way through the week spoke to the rep and ate out after that ||To make things worse the A la carte restaurant attached to the hotel where the happy hour ( 25% off,) was held served up wonderful food from same kitchen. Of course you pay for that||Bed and Breakfast is tolerable for location but don't go Half Board. Vegetarians and Vegans don't bother going there.

12 of us used this as a base for our golf trip. The location, for our purposes, was excellent. Restaurants and bars are only a minute away. It may have been our room towards the back of the hotel but I never noticed any noise from the bars others have mentioned.|The hotel itself is a little tired but the rooms, if basic, are clean and attended daily by the house cleaning staff. The bathroom looked newer than the rest of the furnishings and the shower was good.|We were on a B&B basis and the breakfast was ok. However this is the only hotel I've ever used that has a toaster that worked great on the first pass, Hooray!|Staff were nice, friendly and helpful. A Special thanks to receptionist Santa who always had a smile on her face and made us welcomed as soon as we arrived.

Wow 3 star but was amazing. The pictures on trip advisor really don’t do this place justice . It has a traditional feel to it and our room was lovely 223. Some people complained about music coming the bars, but we didn’t mind it at all it was a proper holiday atmosphere . The hotel was clean the communal areas were spotless. We were B&B and food was always replenished and enough to eat . We ate at Royale cafe bar Bistro on a lot of occasions and were never disappointed really excellent food . And the staff were brilliant especially the man who had been there for years . Pool was freezing but so clean and the sun terrace was lovely really comfortable sun loungers . ||Staff on reception were always happy to help and always had a smile on their faces. They always had a chat when we passed ,Santa was from Latvia 🇱🇻 and Valentino was from the 🇺🇦 Ukraine . The staff at the hotel are a credit . ||Location was amazing everything you need on your doorstep. Buses run every 10 minutes to get you round the island and only €6.5 for a day ticket. ||We were supposed to be going elsewhere next October but have rebooked to come back to this lovely hotel same time next year . All the people there were people who had been there before and continued to come back . Continue doing what you are doing. Loc

Would definitely recommend and would stay here again. If I were to make a suggestion it would Be to give complimentary water for the bedroom on a daily.

First time to the Dionysos Hotel, Paphos, Cyprus. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay 1 week, staff very friendly and helpful especially Santa. The beds were really comfortable, the WiFi easily accessible and worked throughout the hotel. Breakfasts really nice, No shortage of acquiring sunbeds. Very close to the front and shops, restaurants.|We will be returning.
