We’ve just had a lovely 5 night stay at this hotel. Very good value for money, and very pleasant for a three-star hotel. Staying in December, we didn’t use the pool but it was clearly very clean and well maintained (I saw the staff cleaning the whole area thoroughly every morning). Public areas are also very clean. |Our room was of a very high standard indeed for a three-star hotel, modern, clean and well equipped with a kettle and fridge. Tea supplies were replenished daily. We were also given a large bottle of water, a plate of fruit and a bottle of wine on arrival. The bathroom was modern although it’s a shame they are still using small single use plastic bottles; the shower was great although the screen could do with being larger! The towels were quite old but were clean. Nice to see flannels supplied. The balcony was a very good size and we had a super sea view as well as across to the harbour and Paphos castle.|I’m not sure whether the main air conditioning works in winter, but the ceiling fan did work and was useful.|Food was fairly basic but good enough, although fussier eaters would struggle at dinner. They don’t overcharge for drinks which is great. There is an outdoor eating area too. I would imagine that the buffet servery gets very crowded when the hotel is busy. |All the staff are really lovely, friendly people and our room was cleaned well every day. I was pleased to see that they seem to change towels twice a week rather than daily and that our sheets weren’t changed during our five night stay.|The location of the hotel is great, right near the promenade to the harbour and also close to St Paul’s Pillar and several churches. There was significant road noise when our patio door to the balcony was open but this was minimal when the door was closed.
