Just had 2 weeks in this hotel after staying in many hotels in Cyprus since 1989 this has to the best. Perfect location within easy reach of all amenities restaurants bar's and supermarket and bus stop. Hotel was very clean and tidy the staff are amazing on reception. Rooms cleaned daily to a high standard at breakfast the staff were outstanding. Pool area and gardens clean and tidy and the two restaurants are excellent. Would highly recommend especially if you can get a sea view room.

We had a great 2 weeks at the hotel. We had two connected rooms with our teenage children. A few issues with the plumbing but sorted promptly by maintenence. There was a glass sliding door on the bathrooms which was unexpected.|Rooms were clean and spacious with fridge and kettle cleaned daily and towels replaced on request. Pool towels were available for 1 euro.|Breakfast was good both cooked and continental small selection of pastries and fruits same every day no pancakes but enough to keep everyone happy. |We were half board and there was a separate menu but there was plenty of variety and all the food we had was really good and generous portions. Staff at the hotel were all polite and friendly. Special mention to Mandy and Lewis who looked after us in the restaurant for their recommendations for exploring the island as this was our first visit to Cyprus. The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring and the bus to the waterpark stops outside and it's a short walk to the harbour and to the supermarket.

We had a great time and have just booked to go back.|Our room was in the annexe and came with free WiFi and air-conditioning.|The bed was a super king and had plenty of space around it.|Breakfast was good quality and the staff were very helpful.|We always got a sunbed by the pool, and staff would fetch drinks for you, which was nice. Their restaurant next door is easily as good as many more expensive places nearby.|The location is brilliant, too. A stone throw to bars and restaurants and a 2 minute walk to the sea and bars and shops.|All in all, we loved it.

Stayed in a superior sea view room. Lovely view of the harbour and the room is modern, spacious, and has a large glass fronted balcony. Central location, so bars and restaurants are only minutes away. Was very quiet on this side of the hotel. Would recommend Breakfast only boarding so that you can enjoy the lovely local restaurants. Would definitely return.

A friend and I stayed for a week and we had an excellent experience! The service was amazing and the reception staff (especially Santa) were really friendly and super helpful - they even helped us book a boat trip! The pool area is perfect and there was always sunbed space. Breakfast was adequate and the air conditioning worked great. Really recommend this hotel :)

The biggest advantage of Dionysos Central Hotel is definitely its location – it’s right in the heart of the city, and everything is within walking distance: the beach, restaurants, supermarkets, and main attractions. That part was really convenient. The breakfast was tasty and fresh, but unfortunately exactly the same every single day. After a few days, it became quite repetitive. A bit more variety would definitely improve the experience, especially for guests staying longer. The staff at breakfast, however, were very friendly and welcoming – that was a nice touch. The room was okay overall, but there were visible signs of wear and tear in several areas. Some furniture and surfaces looked a bit run-down. One particularly annoying issue was the broken towel rack in the bathroom – it kept falling off and made a loud noise every time. That really should have been fixed before our stay. Noise-wise: once the wooden door and balcony door were closed, it was quiet from outside. However, other guests inside the hotel were extremely loud, especially late at night, which made it hard to sleep. Unfortunately, no one from the hotel staff seemed to step in or manage that. A bit disappointing was the reception staff – while the breakfast team was warm and polite, the receptionists barely acknowledged us throughout the stay. We didn’t feel very welcomed or looked after at the front desk. Overall, the hotel is okay for a short stay thanks to the central location. But if you value comfort, attentive service, and a quiet environment, you may want to look elsewhere.

This hotel centrally located in Paphos is rated three star *** it is not a flashy boutique hotel and has been around for a while having been built between 1976 -77 shortly after the Turkish invasion of the island. The hotels has a main block which includes reception and around half of the rooms/accomadation to the side of this sits a further block with the rest of the rooms. The hotels offers Bed and Breakfast and halfboard. Breakfast is served either indoors or in an external courtyard which also offers tables in a covered area. Breakfast is very informal with cold meats, cheese, fruit, yoghurt toast and jams (various breads) and all the items required to construct yourself a full breakfast with all your favourites. This is self-service but is supported by waiting staff who whisk away you empty glasses, cups, plates etc. As stated earlier the hotel is very central so a short walk to the harbour or local shops, bars etc. The hotel has a reasonable size pool with showers and sunbeds around the pool also even more on the raised sundeck which has views out to the open sea beyond the road that leads down to a pedestrianised area. Towels are available for a small deposit of one Euro (These are available from reception) The hotel also has two restaurants both serve roughly the same menu items. La Place Royale has a lovely spacious bar/internal eating area and a great eating area covered by a massive sail structure which is a nice place to eat looking out on the people going by in the street. We have visited a number of times over the years, the food has always been good but each time we come the service level and quality has grown year on year. This restaurant is frequented by passers by and hotel customers. The menu cover Toasted Sandwiches, Burgers, Seafood Pizza, traditional Greek items and most meats, no matter what your order it is quickly prepared and delivered to you by the attentive front of house team. Away of sunshine in this area is the manager Viorel has a great attention to detail and loves a chat to get to know his customer's. Viorel and Santa in reception go well beyond their roles to ensure they foster a feeling that you have spent time with 'friends' The rooms are clean and provide the bits and bobs in the bathroom foor your use. All rooms have balconies with table and chairs, the room has a fridge. There are a few bigger rooms that overlook the pool area. This is not a complaint but the hotel (you have to remember when the hotel was built) has quite a few steps this could be issue for anyone with very limited mobility. |We have enjoyed stays here in both September and July (July has hot) Forgot to mention the very efficient air-conditioning. We will be back, the people and staff are the star quality here!
