"Above the beach in Korfos Bay, on a narrow isthmus in the south-west of the island, brightly colored kites fly through the air like brilliant birds of prey hitching on a thermal. The beach below may not be the prettiest on Mykonos, but its horseshoe shape and exposure to the northern winds make it one of Europe's best spots for kitesurfing. How clever, then, for born-and-bred Mykonian George Syrianos to turn the land where he once grazed his goats into the first hotel on the island aimed squarely at wave-riders. It's a laid-back, hands-off, DIY kind of place where all eight suites are accessible straight from the beachside pool area, meaning there's no lobby to drag your board through, no carpets to drench with your kit. Unsurprisingly, this chilled approach goes down well with young families, and the interiors are fittingly pared-back and solid; whitewashed rooms are made homely with chunky wooden furniture and gauzy curtains. There is no restaurant, but simple breakfast baskets are delivered every morning, and each suite has a fridge and hotplate to prepare meals using ingredients from the cluster of shops at the other end of the beach, which include a couple of good bakeries, an independent butcher, and a surprisingly chic fishmonger. For more sheltered sunbathing, the bars and daybeds at Ornos beach are a 10-minute walk away on the other side of the isthmus, and Mykonos town is just a 10-minute drive. This hotel is very well situated near the beach. We had 2 rooms that were booked by a travel agent. For Two days out of the three nights we spent in this hotel, one of our rooms was not cleaned nor the beds made, when we got back from the beach by 6 PM. Most staff were cheerful. Rooms and bathroom need better cleaning. There was no towel rack, no soap holder, in the bathroom. The breakfast had the same food every day. There was not even a toaster to toast the bred for the breakfast. The hotel is called a "Luxury hotel" but for us it should be rated a 2 or at the very 3 star hotel. The hotel has good potential to be a nice boutique hotel, if not a luxury hotel, but sadly it needs to be cleaned better & run differently.

I don't know where to start... really the worst hotel experience we have ever had. We arrived having booked a triple and a double, the room was incredibly dirty, the curtains hung without blackout and without shutters. The walls were puffy with moisture and under the topper, which was smaller than the bed, the mattress was stained with moisture.|The bathroom did not have a key and I asked the reception to send a maintenance person to fix it. After a while a very rude man came to the Pool and told me exactly|" do you know that locks are banned in all hotels madam?|So anyway you're a family, do you put the lock on it?|At the double room we found underwear of previous gestation and the shower was broken . So the owner came and said if you hold it with both hands it works🤪🤪|And after he said miss you have a Mercedes? I said yes and he said you want to pay for a fiat and have a Mercedes service? |I was socked . |Last today the double room checked out and they claim they provide driver service . But the driver never woke up and they almost lost their flight. Really health services should interfere. ||

I stay at numerous hotels and as such am conscious of the differences between a Corporate hotel and a holiday hotel which this is. To compare one against the other is comparing apples and pears.||This hotel is a very well run family hotel where nothing is too much trouble. The Owners and staff were all delightful, both friendly and helpful.||It is exceeding well situated with Ornos beach exceedingly close by, so too a supermarket, bakery, pharmacists, ATM and the many, good standard, beach restaurants to choose from. ||The Town is around 10 minutes away by taxi and has a plenty of bars, restaurants and nite life to satisfy all comers. ||The hotel itself has a good pool with most but not all rooms overlooking it and a number of sun loungers around its sides. Towels available at reception. Breakfast buffet style.

Average hotel, ok for few nights. But more 2-3 star than 4 star so it should be cheaper. Nice pool, room ok, breakfast simple and average. The cleaning guy was asking every day about cleaning even that I had the "do not disturb" sign outside so this was little annoying. Location is fine, next to the beach but better to ride to another beaches.

I would give 4 stars only the lobby, the balcony, and the air conditioner. Talking about the room, it was too small, didn’t even have a coffee machine, and had stairs with no elevator option. Talking about the bathroom, it was also too small, didn’t have towel hooks or bars, and the shower shield was half broken. I would give the room and the bathroom no more than 2 stars.||The location is just perfect. It is close to the beach, restaurants, stores, and to the bus stop. Staff were nice and helpful, breakfasts were decent, and the 3-night stay was all in all enjoyable. |

The most inconsistent hotel: you could give it 4 stars for hospitality and kindness however all other things were really lacking; definitely not a 4 stars..||Our stay was pleasant however with many points to highlight:||||Pros:||- Location; few walking meters from Ornos Beach and 10 minutes drive to Old Town||- Hospitality; very nice and welcoming; they offered us a free room upgrade||- Free parking was very handy||||Cons:||- Cleanliness: hair on the floor everyday with no real tangible improvement even after complaining about it; Room Door kept leaking tree dust and flowers due to the windy situation in Mykonos.. we had to put a towel on the floor to help ease off the situation||- Room amenities are definitely not the 4-stars experience. We didn't even have clean cups and a new tissue box the next day. No kettle, no coffee machine, no slippers, not enough shampoo...||- Breakfast is pretty much average
