The flavors were plentiful. They had more vegan choices than just sorbet, which made me happy. The employee behind the counter was kind. To top it off, the portion sizes were very generous! One scoop, literally, means two scoops!

I stopped by Dippity Do Duh’s for a sweet treat and left genuinely impressed. This might be some of the best ice cream I've ever had. Stopped in after a nice dinner for a little something sweet. The store had an old school ice cream spot feel. As soon as you walk in you can smell the waffle cones being made in the waffle grill. The smell is amazing and intoxicating. I hope heaven smells like this. I ordered Smores and asked them for some marshmallow fluff on the side, which was a genius addition to the ice cream. Someone else in our party got a sundae with maybe 3 flavors of ice cream, caramel (it might have been hot fudge), chocolate sauce and whipped cream. One of the flavors in the sundae was Dark Matter, which was outstanding. The staff were very welcoming, helpful and friendly. Parking is free street parking. Everyone in our group thoroughly enjoyed this sweet excursion.

This is a really cozy and cute spot for delicious homemade ice cream. We walked here after dinner on a Saturday and the shop was moderately busy. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and there's a wide variety of flavors available. We'd definitely go back and highly recommend ice cream lovers stop in here as well.

Dippity Do Dahs has a great selection of freshly made ice cream. The flavors are tasty and unique, but they can disappear quickly, so it’s best to go earlier in the day. We visited near closing and noticed some popular flavors were already gone. The shop has a nice, welcoming atmosphere and is a perfect stop for a sweet treat in Corning.

After dinner treat. Our friend who lives here, suggested that we visit this fine establishment for some ice cream after dinner. It was excellent! All of us had something different and my wife even had their vegan ice cream, which was wonderful. Neither of us could tell that it was any different than the other ice cream. It was super tasty. Super tasty! The staff working here was very prompt and friendly, and we enjoyed sitting around and having a little chat after we finished. We would return here in a heartbeat!

Anytime you go into an ice cream shop, and smell freshly made waffle cones. Then you know you're in the right place. They offer a great selection of ice cream to choose from. One thing that stands out about this shop, is the serving sizes of the ice cream. Folks they're huge! Well worth the visit

After pizza at Aniello's we stopped at got a scoop of ice cream. They have a few sizes to choose from. We ended up getting a kids scoop which was the perfect size. I tried the coffee flavor. The ice cream was so creamy and delicious. You can definitely tell that it's made in house. My fiancé got mint chip and enjoyed it. Great local stop and perfect way to end the night. The service was quick and friendly. The place was clean and had plenty of seating to enjoy your ice cream.

Great way to end the day. Although not pet friendly indoors, there is a table with chairs and a bench right outside their door on the sidewalk area that you can enjoy with your dog. Keep in mind that ice cream portion sizes are large so be ready to have your sweet tooth craving satisfied!

Amazing service from the staff , always ready to take my order every time I go . They have generous portions here , I often get the kiddie size . Great seating by the window to look out onto market street and rustic floors . Great place never had a bad experience . Icecream is homemade and delicious !!

This place was awesome.The ice cream here was subtle and creamy, it was so sweet and the caramel really balance's the flavor with the Butternut toffee.Was eager to try the ice cream pizza but it wasn't available but maybe next time it might be there.

My oh my what a wonderful place! They have so many different ice cream flavors and tons of mix ins for such amazing prices. This place is pretty excellent and the staff really enjoy their jobs and making fun delicious ice-cream creations. I had their seasonal Gaffer tracks and a scoop of their cake batter ice cream with caramel sauce, Oreos, and peanut butter cups and it was so tasty. I wanted to get a scoop of each flavor but I'll keep myself in suspense for all their other flavors for next time. This is such a cute little ice cream shop and a highlight of the Market Street downtown district!

We went in while waiting for seats at a restaurant. Their ice cream is really good! The 4 of us ordered different flavors and liked all of them. Vanilla and rum raisin are very rich. Salted caramel is very creamy, with the right amount of salty hint.

Their store was so fun and the ice cream was so creamy and delicious! I was in town for the week and stopped by. I loved the ice cream. The employee was so helpful and friendly. And they have premade ice cream sandwiches! So yummy!

We drove past on our way to the Corning Museum after eating a healthy lunch at Tossed. We were early for our glass blowing class and decided vacation = ice cream even in sub freezing temperatures. What a find! It's rare to spontaneously go somewhere these days without reading Yelp reviews first which made this find even better! We tried a few ice creams before deciding on a waffle cone with cookie dough and dark matter and a kiddie cup of cake batter and fudge brownie. The portions are very generous (especially coming from the DC area). My kiddie cup pictured below cost $3! Can't wait to come back the next time we come to the Finger Lakes!

We ended up here after Google gave us the wrong closing time for Hokey Pokey And I had a promise to keep to my child. So glad we ended up here instead! The place is beautiful and I love the decor. The employees were super friendly and nice. The ice cream was delicious. I love that it is all homemade and it is silky and wonderful. I will say that I got chocolate peanut butter and it tasted neither very chocolatey nor peanut buttery, but that was made up for it with my scoop of s'mores ice cream which was to die for.

My absolutely favorite ice cream spot in town. Their ice cream is very creamy and tasty. Their flavors are all unique and they switch a few of them around pretty often! The staff is always friendly and willing to let you try as many samples as you need. Out of all the ice cream shops I've ever been to, this one has THE BEST waffle cones. They're not 100% crispy--some of it is but it's also soft at the same time. They ask if you want fudge in the bottom which makes for a pleasant surprise at the end of your cone. The environment of the shop is very cozy and cute. My friends and I love going here at any time of the year. I would recommend this place to anyone! They also have vegan options!!!

Wish we'd taken a picture.... We were so eager to enjoy our awesome cones we ate them before getting a picture. This place has homemade ice cream and it is EXCELLENT. We got waffle cones with two flavors each--it was great. Lots of flavor choices. So good! Highly recommend. They weren't really doing inside seating right now but we got cones and had a lovely stroll. They also have hand packed pints to go. Don't hesitate if you want some really good ice cream!!

The ice cream was really good and flavorful. I also liked the interior of the place. We had one minor issue where we order two flavors in a cup and I'm not sure if they misheard us or just got confused, but we only got one flavor.

Superb homemade ice cream in downtown Corning's "Gaffer District". Lots of flavors and lots of quality. I had the "Canine" something or other - proceeds donated to the ASPCA ? Regardless, quality stuff. Get it.

this is really good ice cream. inknow this app favors people who type endlessly about food but in some cases ya not necessary. also it's really just opinion. consensus opinion gives high ratings. all i can do is tell you it's really good ice cream.

We made it just in time, getting there at 9 pm with a 9:30 closing time. Lots of others came in after us and the servers commented they get slammed at their fairly early weekend closings. Ice cream was delicious. I tried a "beer" ice cream, but it was nasty. Plenty of seating inside. While it's rustic with the old brick wall and other original looking aspects, they could do a little more with the decor... especially with a name like Dippity Do Dahs.

This is a small town ice cream shop. Smelled great walking into the venue. It had plenty of seating and surprisingly large space. Parking is street parking as well as a garage if you want to pay. This was my first time in Corning and wanted to see and try as much as I could so this was for dessert. Service was quick and friendly. Unfortunately the actual ice cream was not so good. I got pistachio and it was overly sweet with a flavor that did not taste like pistachio. It did have tons of whole pistachios in it. I personally prefer less pistachio nuts, but did not use that bias in my rating. I also had 3 other friends there and they all got different flavors and also complained that it was overly sweet. None of us actually finished our ice cream. I got the kiddie cup, the smallest one and it was a bit much because it was overly sweet. I unfortunately will not be coming back to this joint.

I didn't know how many unique flavors available and how amazingly wonderful they could taste! I want to try them ALL! We go here whenever possible...and I try to make it possible often! Friendly helpful staff make this a great place for friends to meet or to take your little ones

One is the best tasting ice cream I've had. The staff was also friendly and good atmosphere.

When my party and I walked in, no one greeted us or came hastily to help us out. We tried a few flavors and the staff was a bit reluctant to give it to is. The ice cream itself was not bad. I'd liken it to Tillamook or Ben and Jerry's. We tried the mocha chip which neither tasted like mocha nor chocolate; just a lukewarm taste. Overall, the customer 'service' experience was horrible and the ice cream was nothing to speak highly of.

Huge scoop, a kiddie scoop is good enough. It's a bit too sweet, but other than that good price and friendly service. A scoop is good to share with 2 people. Coffee and chocolate chip cookie dough is good.

This is one of the best places you can get ice cream ever! If you don't like creamy ice cream, this isn't the best place for you though. This is an ideal place to just chill and eat ice cream.

Great ice cream spot! Staying in Painted Post for a visit to the Glass Museum and hit DDD for a treat. Clean, super nice staff, good pricing. I recommend Dark Matter. Cake Batter was popular in my crowd also.

Doesn't look to attractive when you step in the premise, but we wanted to give a try. We were not too much for ice cream and decided to try "snicker doodle". It was a good choice. Definitely will come back to taste a ice cream.

This place is awesome, they've got premium homemade ice cream which ranges from your everyday flavors to some special concotions, including beer flavored ice cream, cheesecake, peanut butter and jelly. I highly recommend you try one of the freshmade waffle cones, which is complete with hot fudge at the bottom. I had never had a freshmade waffle cone and wowwie zowwie is it great! All the flavors I've tried ( Turtle Cheesecake, Salted Caramel, Pistachio, Rum Raisin, Strawberry Sorbet and Mango Sorbet), have been top notch. Friendly service and convinient location and hours. Look forward to trying one of the ice cream pizza I saw being served today... Next time :)

BEST chocolate explosion I've ever had. Normally not a fan of brownie in my ice cream, but chocolate explosion has an amazing sweet combination of chocolate chips, brownies, and chocolate ice cream. Very huge servings. Got one scoop, which was comprised of 3 small scoops. It was really huge! Waffle cone with hot fudge at the bottom is good but kinda overrated IMO. The fudge was really warm and sweet, which kinda ruins the ice cream taste. Still, the waffle cone gave a good sweet crunchy texture to the ice cream

Cute ice cream shop and absolutely perfect for impulsive chocolate cravings! I got the chocolate explosion, which consisted of chocolate ice cream with chocolate chunks and chocolate fudge. There were plenty of fun, unique flavors that made choosing a flavor extremely difficult. I'm hoping to return to try the gingerbread and strawberry cheesecake flavors. Servings are also very abundant. I ordered the smallest scoop (kiddie size), and that was more than enough to fill me. Service was prompt and friendly. I'm not sure if I would consider Dippity Do Dahs the best ice cream spot on Market Street, but it is definitely worth a try if you ever need a sugar fix and want a lot of original flavors to choose from!

Dark matter and mint chip are our favorites. Awesome smoothies, get the Happy Boxes when you can to try the ice cream sandwiches and toppings!

Phenomenal ice cream. Super creamy and delicious. I had the dark matter and it was out of this world! My son had the Cookie Monster and it was really good! Don't be thrown off by the blue color, that is homemade cookies in there!! The homemade waffle cones are awesome and make the whole place smell amazing. Reasonably priced and friendly service. A perfect end to an evening. I would come back way too often if I lived near by.

After eating a wonderful dinner down the street, we took a walk to look for a place for dessert (not realizing almost everything is closed pretty early). We Yelped whatever was around and we stumbled upon this ice cream parlor. The decor is cute, it's very bright and open. Fun themes. Lots of flavors of ice creams and toppings, something you want from an ice cream joint. I was craving milkshakes, it's been my thing for the last month and I decided on the cookies and cream. Unfortunately, it did not hit the spot. I heard the girl say she had added too much milk so she added more ice cream. Something that should fix it, but it didn't help much. It was a pretty thin milkshake so I wasn't able to drink it all. It was too much milk for me to handle and not enough thickness of ice cream. The staff were super nice and friendly though. I would definitely give this place a try again, but not sure I would order a milkshake from there. Ordering a regular scoop of ice cream might be better off for me! I have high standards for my milkshakes.

Delicious ice cream with lots of flavor choices. Loved the Almond Joy and especially the Mocha Chip. Goid service and fun to sit in the window and people watch.
