Diptyque The Grove

Visiting Diptyque at The Grove was such a memorable experience, thanks to the incredible service from Mindy, the assistant manager. Her kindness, thoughtfulness, and deep product knowledge made the entire visit feel personal and special. She took the time to understand what I was looking for and guided me with such care and enthusiasm. With her help, I left with a truly iconic fragrance—David Bowie’s signature scent—a gift for both my partner and myself. It’s rare to find someone who can turn a shopping experience into something meaningful, but Mindy did just that. Diptyque has a gem in her. We’ll definitely be back.

On Mother’s Day yesterday I visited the store with my mother and father and was greeted very kindly and professionally by the knowledgeable associate, Nathan. He was very attentive to all our needs and showed us many fragrances that we enjoyed. My mom absolutely loves the discounted fragrance, Kyoto, by the brand and I am always looking for a new Diptyque scent which resembles it for her. Upon asking Nathan if there are any scents which are similar, he immediately directed us to a scent from a new product like which my mom instantly adored and we purchased for her. Additionally, Nathan gave us a beautiful engraving for my mom on this bottle which includes new memories we plan to cherish that Nathan helped create. He also provided my dad and I with many samples which are superb! I will definitely be making the trip back soon to review excellent service by Nathan and the entire Grove LA Diptyque staff. The lovely ambience and fragrance at Diptyque at The Grove is matched only by the charm and kind attention we enjoy from Nate, who reflects the polish of the brand so expertly. His knowledge and recommendations over time never fail and have distinguished Diptyque from all other luxury candle brands for me. I came in today to casually browse, as I am a very loyal, shopper all over the world. There was an a single other person in there but me and the sales associate or the manager whoever this blonde guy was who was there around 7 o’clock. I’m not sure if he was more eager to close and head home since it’s slow in retail space but talk about a shitty shopping experience. He didn’t show me anything seem like I was annoying him when I was asking questions and really just wanted a great experience as I know the brand and everything very well. He put one of the hair near me wouldn’t look me in the eye or give me attention and would look the other way. I’m a big boy and don’t need people to be so sells me but engaging the customer like you actually want them shopping there and making them feel welcomed is always a good thing even when I look around independently, I walked right out because of how uncomfortable he made me not bothering engaging usually I’ve had a good experience here, but I’ll shop at Larchmont or BH moving forward.

Mindy is an absolute gem. Very personable and focused on the customer. It is clear that she is a connoisseur and pursues excellence in her recommendations! What a beautiful soul!
