I went to get my friend’s birthday gift without knowing or having any ideas of what to get. There were a lot of scents in variable forms at the store: candles, perfumes, lotions, etc. So I had no ideas which one to get until a staff Mari came to help me out. He knew what scent I was looking for and recommended the perfect one I was looking for my friend. Also, he found the new perfume I would get for myself later! I would highly recommend people to visit this store. All of the staffs are very nice and willing to help you, but especially Mari, he was helping me out the whole time—big thanks to him, and the store was slow at the time by the way. My friend was so happy about the gift and loved the scent. I would definitely go back again!

Visiting Diptyque at The Grove was such a memorable experience, thanks to the incredible service from Mindy, the assistant manager. Her kindness, thoughtfulness, and deep product knowledge made the entire visit feel personal and special. She took the time to understand what I was looking for and guided me with such care and enthusiasm. With her help, I left with a truly iconic fragrance—David Bowie’s signature scent—a gift for both my partner and myself. It’s rare to find someone who can turn a shopping experience into something meaningful, but Mindy did just that. Diptyque has a gem in her. We’ll definitely be back.

Just got a fragrance last night and it was such a great experience. Amy helped us and she was so kind and answered all questions I had, it got me really excited about the brand and my new fragrance. It was so cool to learn about Diptyque and the store has such a great peaceful energy. I am excited to check out the other store locations too!

Mari at Diptyque was absolutely amazing! He made me feel so comfortable. His tone was warm and respectful, never a hint of arrogance, just kindness and professionalism. On Mother’s Day yesterday I visited the store with my mother and father and was greeted very kindly and professionally by the knowledgeable associate, Nathan. He was very attentive to all our needs and showed us many fragrances that we enjoyed. My mom absolutely loves the discounted fragrance, Kyoto, by the brand and I am always looking for a new Diptyque scent which resembles it for her. Upon asking Nathan if there are any scents which are similar, he immediately directed us to a scent from a new product like which my mom instantly adored and we purchased for her. Additionally, Nathan gave us a beautiful engraving for my mom on this bottle which includes new memories we plan to cherish that Nathan helped create. He also provided my dad and I with many samples which are superb! I will definitely be making the trip back soon to review excellent service by Nathan and the entire Grove LA Diptyque staff. If you are looking for an exquisite candle shopping experience, this is the shop for you. This was our first time going to a Diptyque. I had heard a lot about this candle shop from r/luxury candles. Mari was an absolute gem. Mari took us through a joyous shop. He was incredibly knowledgeable. We went through each candle in the city collection. He talked through the candle throws and the limited edition aspect of the collection. The location is beautiful and the products are great. Highly recommend!

Very pleasant staff especially Carlos! Very attentive and made sure my wedding souvenirs were carefully and thoughtfully packed. He took his time to make sure i was tended to and that everything was perfect. Thanks Carlos!

I've been to diptyque quite a few times and they never disappoint. this time i was going to exchange an item and the service and attention to detail is why this store and brand is great. they dont oversell you and they recommend really based on what you like. They noticed i had alot of the same scent candle so instead of letting me end up going home with the same one they suggested an alternative that was similar to what my scent and it worked out!!!

My husband and I have been searching for a "signature scent" and heard really good things about this company. We had the pleasure of having Amy show us around. She was kind, knew her way around different scents and she made the experience so fun and exciting. The scents were amazing and so different from anything else I have smelled. I highly recommend this store if you want to smell good.

Amy was such a delight! She was extremely attentive, gave great recommendations based on my taste (which she was able to get on the nose very easily) all while being extremely hospitable. This was my first Diptyque purchase after a lot if contemplation, so I'm glad I was able to leave feeling and smelling amazing. Will be back !

Back again, this time reviewing the wonderful service from Mr Sanderson. He was kind enough to help me pick out a birthday candle. He took the time to ask what scents I like and even tell me the stories and inspirations behind the scents. Customer service at this location cannot be beat. Amy at Diptyque was phenomenal. Her greeting me from the moment I walked in and her smile and pleasant attitude made me want to ask questions and listen to her recommendations. She was a "no pressure" host and I recommend if you are at Diptyque The Grove you can't miss her. She will be the one smiling!!!!

First time in this store and I absolutely loved it. I had every intention of just testing the products and smelling the candles so I could then go buy them at Nordstroms for points in their loyalty program but the sales guys were so nice and amazing that I completely forgot and bought everything from then, there on the spot. The customer service I received was impeccable and they were so sweet. Will be running back to that store when I need to stock up my candles.

I had the most gorgeous experience at this location!! The store itself is so beautiful, I was greeted by the kindest most beautiful person, Nate & helped by Lyric + Carlos. They took me through scents & were so knowledgeable within all aspects. This was one of the best experiences i've had shopping with Diptyque. Thank you all for going above and beyond.

I came in after hearing about the Orpheon event they were hosting, I brought a few friends to come and see what it was all about. Amy took incredible care of us and truthfully the best fragrance boutique experience I've EVER had. Le Labo in the grove needs to see what true customer service is all about. It seems the employees there are all in training. Fine, but the person in charge, a tall thin guy, was so unfriendly, unhelpful, and more concerned with making his felt and tissue wrapping that he was oblivious to customers who were looking for help with purchases. Luckily, I found what I needed at Nordstrom, including a very courteous, knowledgeable and friendly associate.

A little bit of heaven here, everything so beautiful in here very organized employees were so nice knowledgeable. Some of my favorite perfumes are here, The custom blends are amazing. It is pricey, but very well worth it !

I stopped in to see what diptyque was about, and Amy was kind enough to walk us through the store and talk about the products! She was so awesome and even included the lore about the founders and how these scents and their artwork came to be. I absolutely love the details put into the artwork for each and every one of the labels, and have come to appreciate diptyque even more after hearing their story. She then introduced us to some beautiful scents and sent me home with a couple samples. Thanks to Amy for walking me through diptyque, l look forward to coming back!

Incredible products and incredible staff. I will no longer be purchasing my items from Nordstrom. Really happy either way my recent purchase and with the service I was given. 5 stars all the way!

mari was a great help and gave us amazing support. from going in the back to bring up products he thought we would like - to telling us about memories that come up from certain smells. we bonded over growing up in the same area in texas and talked like friends. 10 out of 10 experience

Jennifer is incredible. She helped my mom and I find the perfect housewarming gift for our friend who has A TON of candles: candle accessories! Amazing shopping experience here at The Grove Diptyque! I was looking for a nice perfume for my girlfriend's birthday and my sales consultant, Jennifer, was extremely helpful and made the whole experience top-notch! I highly recommend this shop and ask for Jennifer for your next perfume purchase.

Hmmmh first of all I LOVE DIPTYQUE and I've known this brand since I was in Paris back in 2011, I don't know what to say about this place at the Grove LA, but last time I was there in June 2021, my sister bought so many things in there. She bought me 2 perfumes Volutes and Do Son and Do Son body mist and the person who worked there was very nice with us, he even gave me the small tuberose candle for a compliment gift because it was my Birthday month. I am a big fan and customer of the brand. But on February 23, one lady who worked there was kind of rude and showed me an attitude without no reasons, almost slamming the door once I left and felt bothered about my presence there. I know it was kind of late and almost closing time, but I just need to make sure if I need to buy something again because at the Nordstrom next to it, it wasn't a complete set. When my friend asked her for a cream price, I responded with $58 and she corrected me with no, "it's a 100$"with taxes. In a REALLY bothered "I know better" tone. Upon checking on the website after, the cream was eventually $58 as I already own one and remembered it right. She just gave me passive aggressive behavior for no reason, not exactly what you would expect from a luxury store where a perfume cost $205. I might just need to avoid this store and just shop at Diptyque Nordstrom.

I was looking to buy some birthday gifts for a friend in LA from out of town and I was fortunate that Jennifer picked up when I called the store at the Grove. My friend had mentioned she wanted something from Diptyque but I hadn't purchased anything here myself so I relied heavily on Jennifer's advice and asked her a lot of questions. Throughout several calls, Jennifer was incredibly friendly, patient and thoughtful with me, even coming up with ideas of her own to make the surprise birthday gift perfect! Jennifer truly went above and beyond to help make this day special for more than one person and her genuine kindness and contagious enthusiasm to help out made this experience so much more enjoyable for everyone. Thank you Jennifer!!

I had such a great experience in this store, Mary was so friendly when I came in, and Bobby was so knowledgeable about all of the fragrances and the stories behind them. I've been missing the bottle of Do Son I left behind at my other apartment and he offered me some generous samples and just completely made my day. Next time I want to purchase something from Diptyque I would happily go out of my way to go to this store rather than ordering online. They're all so lovely!!

What an open beautiful display! So gorgeous. This is my favorite location so far with a nice and informative sales associate. I came in not really intended to buy anything but I was just in awe of how the products are arranged and was sold on their cleaning products. The candle prices aren't as bad as Le Labo so next time, I will look into that.

Luxury fragrances cannot cover the smell of smoky and fishy business tactics. Do NOT give credit card details. "Miscommunication" at best, Deception at worst. Having been a fan of their candles for years, I visited this store in hopes to smell the city candles which sell out really quickly. The candles were not in stock, but I worked with Henga who took down my interest in the candles. I had hoped to buy a series of the city candles to give out as gifts and had repeatedly stressed that I could not purchase any until I had the chance to smell them first. Henga said that she could take down those I was interested in and call me when they arrived. She was very insistent on taking down my credit card details including the cvv. I felt highly uncomfortable doing this and wanted to take my card back but she kept assuring me it was their standard operating procedure for all clients who set up a profile with them. I had checked several times and even came back down the next week to ensure that I would not be charged without an email or call first. She once again assured me that I would NEVER be charged until I had officially placed an order either via email on online. 3 days ago, I received an email with a receipt and I was charged for the order. After calling in the shop to refund the order, I was called by the store manager Bonny who made me provide credit card details AGAIN to refund the order(which made no sense). Bonny seemed highly uninterested in this poor business behavior and was only interested in processing the refund. After explaining the scenario to her, she offered a very rehearsed "I'm sorry for this incident, this is not representative of our brand, and your information will be shredded". Astonishing stuff from a luxury brand that sells $80 candles - This is my end of purchasing anything from the brand. Do yourself a favour and go to le labo next door.

It has been years since I have been to The Grove. Also it's my first time ever step foot into a Diptyque store. As I was browsing at the fragrance section, and walked around the store. I noticed there is two employees working at the time. Both employees never came up to greet me or ask me what am I looking for. I was waiting for someone could greet me, but never did. I walked out of the store less than 5 minutes. The employees have such bad customer service experiences to someone (me) have never been to the store before.

Went in for my birthday and the sales associate Maddie was super helpful. She went into full detail on all the perfumes and let me sample the scents as much as a wanted. One of the best experiences ever.

Love the location. So glad they added this store!!!! I cannot wait until they host private events again for some champs!

I was lucky enough that I walked in to this location literally hours after their grand opening. The store is so so beautiful and photo worthy, literally everything in the shop looks like art. The service was amazing, Bobby was so warm and welcoming and made sure to give my mother and I samples that were suited to our preferences. THAT is how you open a store! Definitely one of the best retail experiences I've had since the pandemic. I can't wait to make more purchases at this location. Thank you Bobby and Henqa!

I loved Diptyque before visiting this store, but Marie and the rest of the staff have made sure that I will shop no where else. Today I was surprised and delighted to be chosen from previous purchasers of their Orphéon fragrance to receive a free vinyl of a jazz artist emulating the notes of the fragrance. Just one of the reasons I love visiting this store whenever I'm at the Grove.

We had an amazing experience with Bobby (I hope I wrote the name correctly). It was our first time at a Diptyque store and it could've not been better. We got to know the story behind the brand. We got the perfect fragrances recommended just by listening to how we talk and we loved them. Beware, you may spend longer than you intend to, haha. I would definitely come here more often if I was from that area. Thank you so much again Bobby!!!

bobby is amazing! he really knows his stuff. he was super friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about all of the perfume. he discussed with me the correct way to wear it on your body, and made me feel super comfortable with my purchase. 10/10!

Hermoine was a delight. So helpful and kind, not pushy in the slightest, showed me which scents layer best together, genuinely so great to work with. Did not catch the other girl's name but she was fantastic as well. Customer service 10/10!!!

Such a beautiful store. Absolutely amazing fragrances you can smell as you walk in. The employees are very nice and helpful. The candles are better than any other. My favorites are baies and roses. I recently got the eau rose perfume and have received many compliments on it. It smells so lovely and lasts a long time.

this is only based on the terrible attitude. i received a candle over the holidays and finally made it to a store to see if i can exchange it for another scent. i was then prosecuted and talked down at as to why i can't. relax.

I went to return a recent gift I received. They claim I "opened" it and could not return it. I literally opened the slide box and saw what was inside and closed it. I did not handle the candles or anything else. Now I have three expensive candles that I am allergic to.

Love this location at the Grove! My fiancé and I stepped in to look at some candles and ended up being helped by the sweetest manager, Marie. She was so helpful and took the time to show us new fragrances, which I absolutely fell in love with. I will definitely make a point to come back to this store if I need anything else from Diptyque!!

Marie, the manager, was super awesome in helping me! I had something that seemed like a defect on one of my purchases and called in for help. When Marie heard the situation, she reached out to me with her number to help with solution and would reply even at 10pm when she's not on the clock! She kindly gave me an exchange for the item and showered me with extra gifts to a point where I felt guilty of even complaining! Thank you so much Marie for making me feel like a valued client :)

I have ordered directly from the store before, but this time was very different. Henga gave me her cell number and took care of an order that needed to be received on the following day. She was quick to respond even after hours, she verified that she'd be in the following day and take care of it. The next day, as promised, I received the candle and samples. It was bagged in a fancy Diptyque accessory container, inside of the bag she took the time and focused on the presentation. It was a stellar move and made me look like a top-shelf individual in front of the receiver. Henga is a true blessing and took care of business at a 10 level!

Sue & Zo have been NOTHING but helpful and they are just angels. Sue's description of the scented candles & perfumes were so spot on and really helped us make a decision on which ones to buy. Sue is just heaven sent & Zo, She's just made out of gold. They helped us out with ease & I'm happy they're with the company.

Absolutely gorgeous store filled with incredible scents- I had questions about the candles (I smelled every one at least three times!) and Christian was so knowledgeable and patient... With his assistance, I picked the PERFECT Valentines for my special ones... these are truly curated scents and everything from the products to the packaging to the home decor items speak of thoughtfulness... AND they gave me little chocolate truffles with my purchase! So sweet!

This store is so beautiful. And everyone that works here is so great. I love Henga she is the best. I used to buy online but now I go into the store to have her help me because she is a wealth of knowledge! Bobby is also great!
