Wendy was such a delight! Thank you for a memorable experience- can’t wait to come back!

Google
Wendy is great! Very knowledgeable, not pushy or pretentious. Shop is well stocked with a variety of international and local wines along with a tasteful selections of snacks and food pairings. Patio was dog friendly with little heaters at some of the tables. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves with some wine and various appetizers.

Google
Wendy is uber knowledgeable about wine and once she learns your palate can recommend great future choices. Great spot to sit, drink a glass of bubbles, look at the mountains, meet friends, whatever...Nice selection of local wine makers. Great deli takeaways.

Google
We love stopping by here on our way to/from the coast. It’s so relaxing and enjoyable to have a mix of the small bites she serves up along with a glass of local wine. It’s also the best selection of French and Italian wines around to take home.

Google
Excellent stop right after/before trekking that last bit of highway 20 before the coast! The tapas were great 👍 Wendy is a lovely human being running a top notch operation. Excellent selection of snacks and spirits, at fair prices. Definitely a new favorite!

Google
Amazing wine bar owned and operated by a lovely host. It’s the perfect place to stop and refuel between wine tastings on your journey down the 128! There’s a great shady patio to enjoy home made tapas, meats, and cheeses while having a glass or a bottle from their extensive and eclectic collection!

Google
An absolute gem in the Anderson Valley. Wendy has done an incredible job curating some of the best local wines alongside some delightful imports. If you're a local looking for great values and an even better eye for selection, this will quickly become a favorite stop. If you're visiting the area, it's still worth swinging in to check out her selection (who knew you'd be coming to Anderson Valley to get a great Alsace sparkling). The small bites are equally pleasant – and priced to let you pick and choose to your heart's content. Amazing chorizo and salumi, peruvian beans, roasted peppers, truffled potato chips, castelvetrano olives... hard to beat the selection, and it all goes perfectly with wine. The tasting menu is unbeatable – sixteen wines by the glass when I visited, and five flights ($11-$13). A local flight, an aromatic flight, a Spanish flight, a French flight, and a flight of bubbles – hard to beat the options. The environment is laid back and comfortable, with outdoor seating under shade and a table inside as well. Wendy is generous with her time and knowledge, and couldn't be more friendly. This is a gift to Mendocino County, and I hope everyone visits so she can continue to flourish.

Google
Great wine store with glasses and delicious bites. I highly recommend stopping in to try some great local wine that does have a tasting room. Duck sliders and olives were perfect for a lite lunch. Owner is very knowledgeable and a pleasure to speak to. We'll definitely be back!

Yelp
Awesome find. Wendy is the guru of wine in the area. We prefer bolder wines she suggested Witching Stick and it was a wonderful experience.

Yelp
Should you be traveling through/around the town of Boonville, a stop at Wendy's Disco Ranch is nearly required! Her selection of wines is the envy of much larger shops. In addition, she has picnic goodies and some tasty deli items. Think sliders and dolmas and charcuterie and shrimp in a creamy sauce... I stop by to say hello and enjoy a light lunch with a lovely glass of wine. Wendy is a delight and her shop always has a new surprise or treat.

Yelp
Wendy is rad, and so is her wine shop! While you never need an excuse to visit Disco Ranch, you simply cannot pass through Booneville without at least popping in. Wine shop owner, Wendy, has curated a fantastic assortment of local, wines alongside boutique imports. Looking for something specific? Wendy will have recommendations. Need a quick nibble? Wendy stocks incredible snacks and also offers a small menu of prepared items. I love this shop and all the goodies within! A must visit in Booneville.

Yelp
Such a good decision to stop here! Wendy was an absolute gem as a friend and I went up to some wineries. The food she makes in store was delicious, I highly recommend the duck breast sliders. We also ordered smoked salmon and cucumber as well as a couple glasses of wine that Wendy let us taste and then poured. The store has a good variety of wines, but I love that there's a section for the local wines specifically. If you're looking to branch out from what you usually get, Wendy is really good at trying to match your palette to something she has in stock. We stopped on the way home to pick up another order!

Yelp
This establishment is sommelier quality regarding knowledge of wines. Over the course of several visits, Wendy has learned our palates, and continues to introduce us to amazing wines, both local and European/world-wide. Disco Ranch's selection is wide, varied, and very affordable. Wendy's knowledge of the terrior of each wine/winery is astounding. No wonder the place is busy, although in my experience, each guest is treated with an equal opportunity to grow from Wendy's knowledge and experience

Yelp
This place looked great with wines by the glass, wines for sale, and an on-site menu that included a charcuterie platter, but as we began talking to the person at the counter another couple walked up and started chatting with her, as well. It seemed like they were locals as the server seemed to know what wines they had tried in the past and what they might want to try today. We realized they were being waited on ahead of us. While we just stood there stunned they were given glasses of wine and then the server said she needed to get back to us, but they started ordering their food. They cut right in front of us! We waited another few minutes and when it was obvious we were not going to be waited on any time soon, we left. What a bummer. We'll have to try again another time!

Yelp
Fun little wine and tapas/small bites shop. Caters mostly to champagne and other bubbles. Always has great recommendations and awesome little bites to pair with the wines.

Yelp
We were looking for someplace to stop and rest while enjoying some cheese and wine on our way to the coast. With a name like Disco Ranch, we had to stop. So glad we did. They sell wines, cheeses, and accoutrements, along with tapas/small plates. We made several selections from the tapas, and the Mrs. got a glass of Morgon 2018 domaine de la beche. She described it as fruit forward, full flavored, spicy without the tannins to impede the flavor. Refreshing for a red. She loved it. For food, we had the smoked salmon and cucumber, big bean and chorizo, dolmas, asparagus wrapped in prosciutto, and smoked duck sliders, and olive & mozzarella skewers. It all was perfectly delicious. Perfect flavors well prepared. I'm not a chef and someone with a finer palate may find something to complain about, but not me. This place is fives across the board. If you are in the area, this is a MUST STOP. Also, ask for the story of how the store got its name. Very interesting!

Yelp
You. Must. Stop. And. Visit. Wendy. Here at Disco Ranch. Huge selections of local wines. Yummy selection of snacks, cheeses, sliders, etc. I had an order of Rock Shrimp in THE MOST delicious mustard creamy dill sauce. This sauce is TOP SECRET and as much as I pressed Wendy, she wouldn't divulge. Bottom line: fun vibe, delish wine and nosh.

Yelp
We stumbled upon this fabulous place and boy am I glad we did!! Disco Ranch has a wonderful selection of white, red, and sparkling wine for you to taste and buy. They also have wonderful finger foods and snacks to go along with it. The Salmon on Cucumbers paired extremely well with our sparkling wine tasting flute. We ended up purchasing a bottle of the Cava. I am wishing we bought more. The outdoor dining area is shaded under a tent and was very inviting. Wendy, the owner, was warm, welcoming, and she knows her wine from around the world! I wish we weren't heading home when we found Disco Ranch otherwise we would have stayed longer. Make a point to stop at Disco Ranch. Don't let its unpretentious exterior fool year. This place has some serious wines and delicious food! I can't wait to go back!
google avatar

Yelp
There's no place that disco ranches like the Disco Ranch, and I wish I lived nearby so I could visit all the time. It's beautiful, welcoming and superbly curated, and it would be my favorite shop in any city in the world. They have a knock-your-socks-off selection of local and international items, all priced fairly from what I could see, including wine, champagne, cheese, cured meats and fish, caviar, olives, pantry items and gifts. You can grab a table on the charming patio and enjoy a flight of wine and delicious tapas and "disco snacks." We shared and can highly recommend the pulled chicken pesto sliders; the roasted beets with goat cheese, nuts and balsamic; and the smoked salmon, boursin and cucumber canapes. But I wouldn't hesitate to try anything and everything. If it's on the menu at the Disco Ranch, I have a feeling it's going to be wonderful.

Yelp
Excellent new bottle shop and tasting room located just a few doors down from the Booneville General Store! Did a tasting here with a few of the ladies and had a wonderful time! This shop just opened on May 1st and was recommended by one of the locals in the area. We decided to have our last tasting of the day here. So first off, can I just rave about how cute this place is? It's a small shop that has an intimate tasting bar in the back. We indulged in an intimate tasting with winemaker Kyle Jeffrey of Minus Tide Wines and enjoyed each and every second of it! How often can you walk into a tasting room and get the opportunity to get your wines poured by the actual winemaker? This is why I love the Anderson Valley, but I digress. Minus Tides is an up and coming vineyard based out of Mendocino. We tasted three of their current wine selections, all of which were delightful. We were all most impressed with their 2017 Mariah Vineyard Chardonnay which was so deliciously crisp. I had to purchase a bottle along with the ladies. Kyle was such a fun host and it was so fascinating to learn about the evolution of his wines firsthand. Aside from the tastings, this shop has a killer wine selection! What I really enjoyed about Disco Ranch was their variety of French wines! You won't typically find a shop here that carries many wines outside of California. But, they had my FAVORITE French wine; Beaujolais! The lady who helped me pick out the brand that I wanted (I didn't get her name!) described the wines in such great detail. You can tell that she's tenured and she knows her stuff! Plus, their bottle prices are extremely reasonable! $15 for a fruity and jammy Beaujolais? You best believe I took that baby home! They've got great meats, cheeses, and snacks! Purchased a black truffle goat cheese that tasted PHENOMENAL!!! Most of their products are local and great quality. And best of all; they close at 6:30!! BOOYAH! Most places around here (at least tasting rooms) close around 5 and 6 at the latest. But Disco Ranch is sporting that good ol' 6:30! I can definitely dig it! Such a great new addition to town! I only make it up here once or twice a year, but I'm planning another trip up here very soon this time and I can't wait to come back!

Yelp
The owner continues to make this a diverse venue for spirits wine and dining. Nice variety of wines cheeses and snacks. Great dining events here regularly like bbq's and oysters etc.

Yelp
Amazing wine shop, appears to be owner-run and she is so knowledgeable. Introduced me to a wine i never heard of but was perfect, just based on my other purchases. And order the sliders!!!! Perfectly seasoned/condimented. I wish it was where I live. I would go all the time.

Yelp
Great stop for picking up charcuterie, wine, cheese, crackers and chutneys when wine tasting in the area. Its a tiny spot, but they really have an excellent selection given their size, including the best olives, a tray of simple, interesting tapas to-go, good mustards, and an impressive selection of foodie snacks. They have a little outdoor picnic area to safely distance and eat some nibbles. If you are staying in the area, hurray! You can stock up on the foodie things you need to keep it civilized and delicious.
google avatar

Wen Q.

Yelp
The cutest roadside wine bar where you can also get a bunch of reasonably priced tapas, snacks, and pantry items. There was a pop up when we visited and it was a lot of fun!
google avatar

Angel R.

Yelp
Been coming for years. Great place to stop going in and out of the valley or during your stay! Have a glass or glasses of wine, have some bites etc. Wendy always has wonderful recommendations and stocks a curated selection of local and imported wines. Plus has some great goodies to have with your wine.

Yelp
Next time you're in the Andersen Valley, particularly Booneville, go straight to Disco Ranch Wine Bar & Specialty Market! (Signs are not large, so keep your eyes peeled! -they need better signage. ) The name is odd (ask for the story behind it) but the place is a definite winner! We stopped here after reading about it on the Internet and had a delightful wine tasting/light lunch with the owner, Wendy Lamer, a delightful woman with a solid background in wines from all over the world. We tried two flights - the Spanish and the French. All very good, actually, which made the tasting really worthwhile. We added some tasty bites as well - the beets with goat cheese, the salami with cornichons (delicious - I wouldn't share), the tomato/mozzarella/pesto - best pesto ever per my husband, the chorizo and the sausage. All good! Finished off with some Pepperidge Farm cookies (lol). Perfect. The wine selections in the store itself are impressive - see my photos to get the idea. Fun items to purchase as well. It's always fun to find the unexpected, and this wine bar is just that! We will make sure to stop here whenever we are on our way to Mendocino. Don't miss the photo of the best toilet paper holder Virus-free. www.avg.com

Yelp
Stopped in early September, circa Corona, while doing a pickup at another place. But wanted to make a point to write about this place. They were a beacon in an area with few options on a Thursday. This place had great inexpensive food options with great wine options. The owner really cares about the business, the food, and the wine. I was greatful to have found it. I'd certainly come back. Great fresh options for good small plates and snacks. It was just what I needed.
google avatar

Yelp
When we drive up the Northern California coast this is a mandatory stopping point for me. Artfully crafted small plates of European style plates with tasty meats, cheeses, olives, etc. combined with one of the most diverse international wine selections in Mendocino county makes this a regular treat for us. The focus is on French, Italian and Spanish products, but the result is a delightfully light meal.
google avatar

Imran A.

Yelp
Great little pit stop on our way to Philo. The staff is very friendly, the food was delicious, and the ambiance was great! They have a great wine selection along wine snacks and sandwiches, etc. we make it a habit to make a stop here anytime we are heading to the coast. I recommend you do the same, you won't regret it!
google avatar

Anatoliy A.

Yelp
We've been coming to Disco Ranch over the span of 6 months and every time the food, the service, the ambiance is absolutely amazing! Small place with a great selection of tapas and wine that never disappoints! Want to keep it all for myself, but it absolutely deserves to be advertised! :)

Yelp
An amazing addition to Boonvilles Wine Experience! Wendy is amazing and she has created a laid back, homey touch to wine tasting. The wine she has brought in looks to be mostly imports that are accurately (and competively) priced. She offers wine tasting and small bites ( Vegan Options!!) as well as having a wonderful fridge section so you can buy and assemble your own picnic! Cheeses, Meats, Páte, Grape leaves(dolmas), chocolate (vegan options), jams, crackers and more! There is a tasting snack and a bottle of wine to tie them together! Stop by and try not to miss it! She also has a local wine section that focuses on smaller lot wineries that may not have tasting rooms.

Yelp
The perfect way to break up a road trip with a small plate and local beverage or to hang at round the patio. Wendy has a stellar variety of wines, bubbles and brews. Always something new and interesting to taste!

Yelp
What a gem ! All the wine and snacks you could want! I had meant to stop for a longer time but didn't realize the county fair was ongoing, so zipped out quickly. I enjoyed their meat plate and gigantes beans at home - delicious ! Can't wait to stop by again and enjoy in the patio with some wine ! The owner was also so kind as to offer up suggestions for me and my dog. Thank you so much Disco Ranch!

Yelp
"Don't make them too popular!" is what my partner said when I told him I'm writing this review. But I cannot resist. This is a lovely concept: A thoughtfully curated food and wine shop + sit down area to drink wine by the glass or have some prepared appies. There appeared to be locals hanging out and enjoying their neighborhood haunt. As passerbys we were welcomed warmly and given tips on the local libations. Also, "DISCO RANCH?!" What a great moniker... Pssssst: It would be awesome to be able to walk away with a Disco Ranch logo shirt next time I come through town ...
google avatar

Yelp
Unique goods, nice wine options, causal easy spot to stop for a drink, but it quick shop. Friendly service.

Yelp
This place is such a great addition to Anderson Valley! My wife and I visit Boonville 3 or 4 times a year and we are so glad this place opened up. They have really high quality products and wine. We got a mixed plate of food to snack on, and two flights of wines. The proprietor, Wendy, even let me customize my wine flight. Wendy is super friendly and helpful! She is stocked with great wines from around the world and from the valley. This place is a great treat for some lunch while you're it wine tasting!

Michael K.

Yelp
Best wine selection in Mendocino county. A must stop on 128 wendy is so knowledgeable and friendly.
google avatar

Yelp
A must-visit store when in near (or even near) Booneville. The owner Wendy is well versed in great wines as well as great values. Excellent, smart selection, better than most larger stores. Plenty of well priced, every day drinking wines plus top flight stuff. We couldn't pass up the chilled half bottles of Krug Champagne and Billecart-Salmon Rose to go with our basket of Spanish Tapas she sold us. The food was fantastic. A true Gem to an already nice town. BIG thums up!
google avatar

Kerry L.

Yelp
BEST food choices for eating there AND taking to go! We absolutely loved the Disco Ranch so much that we ate lunch there two days in a row! The wine selections are incredible. There would honestly be no need to go anywhere else if you bought food and drink at the Disco Ranch! We took a bunch of stuff to go! The prices are competitive and the choices make it easy to stop and shop. Also, so cute!
google avatar

Michael R.

Yelp
Delicious! We stopped in for a quick bite and so happy we did. The food was super tasty, gourmet bites. We had the sliders and some small bites and that was perfect for a meal. I want to go back and have some wine with the food. Dog friendly and super nice folks.

Stephani M.

Yelp
It was super hot outside so I thought to just stop in for a quick water purchase. I was treated to some wonderful small bites and a tempting wall of wine. I'll definitely come back when I can taste and spend more time!

Sh M.

Yelp
My husband & I found this local gem on the way back to the Bay Area from Mendocino. I was not expecting to find a wine bar/ shop of this caliber in Boonville! Wendy's selection of bottles was amazing, prices were very reasonable, & Wendy was extremely welcoming & helpful. I tried the bubbles flight & the local Pinot flight. Both were fantastic and well priced. The outdoor logo was spacious & clean. What a great find! We will definitely be returning on any future trips to the Mendocino area.
google avatar

Chris S.

Yelp
Great spot with an extensive bottle shop and nice gourmet bites. They are also pouring wines that's rooms are still Covid-closed, so worth a visit. A nice patio for "social distancing" and cool staff.
google avatar

Michelle H.

Yelp
My husband and I spotted this little place on the way to Mendocino for a special weekend away and knew we needed to make a stop on the way home, just based on the great name! And we're so glad that we did! The owner helped us choose an excellent rose by the glass, which we really enjoyed with our perfect small bites of smoked salmon over cucumber and a couple different types of sliders. Although we weren't there for terribly long, we appreciated the personal service and interesting conversation. The place is also very COVID-friendly and doing everything right in the cleanliness department, which is an absolute must for us! Highly recommend! We will be back for sure!
google avatar

Jill D.

Yelp
Wow! An dazzling assortment of wines and bubbles from around the world. The prices are beyond fair! There is also an amazing charcuterie selection. Try one of the small plates that Wendy pairs with a perfect glass of wine. There's outdoor seating.
google avatar

Connor E.

Yelp
We arrived around closing, soaked to the bone after a 4 hour motorcycle ride into the area through a storm. The owner took us in, helped us dry out a bit and helped find a Inn down the road that had vacancy. Absolutely top notch owner. Thank you.
google avatar

Dave C.

Yelp
One of my favorite wine shops anywhere, let alone in the small town of Boonville. The owner and constant force behind this wonderfully curated selection is Wendy, whose long-term connections in the wine business have made this possible. International wines, Grandes Marques Champagne, local producers... and wonderful gourmet foodstuffs, cheeses and tapas plates. Outdoor seating around gas fireplaces. Go. See. Taste. Enjoy.
google avatar

diane r.

Yelp
The highlight of our trip has been this amazing new shoppe in Boonville....check it out. Disco Ranch has it all. Fabulous gourmet food items, wine, champagne and tapas. Who could ask for more. The owner Wendy Lamer is the best attraction to her lovely shop. When you are up in the area PLEASE stop in!
google avatar

Tracy E.

Yelp
I have the pleasure of living in the Anderson Valley area. And this gem has just opened up in the area its a fabulous wine bar that serves wonderful little tapas. There are also specialty food items and wine for purchase. The owner Wendy is a lovely woman who is very helpful and knowledgable. Be sure to stop in when your in the area!
google avatar

Dave G.

Yelp
Awesome wine, awesome owner and awesome prices. Don't miss this place if you're passing through Boonville

Dan R.

Yelp
Great selection of wines and small bites. Grab to go or enjoy outside on the patio! Wendy, the owner, is friendly and extremely knowledgeable. While local wines are definitely available here, this is great place to tickle other parts of your palate after you've had your fill of the local Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
google avatar

Ollie B.

Yelp
This new place is a "must visit" in Boonville, and even got a mention in the Robb Report recently. Wendy is the most kind and generous proprietor. She imports wines that are hard to find but great values and really high quality, especially Spanish and French wines (she also carries a lot of local wine too). Her food is also excellent. But what sets Disco Ranch apart is the personal, friendly and conscientious touch of Wendy, which really makes the difference. We really enjoyed getting to meet her and enjoy her wine and food!

Karina T.

Yelp
Wendy is amazing!!! Anything she recommends is sure to be a winner!! Great location, nice patio seating area, wonderful selection of wine and snacks. Make this a "must" stop!!!

Leslie B.

Yelp
Suprise, surprise! A specialty grocer and wine shop in the heart of Boonville. Need some grab and go nibbles or a great bottle of wine, let this Georgia native help you choose. Well curated selections. Stop by!

Alene W.

Yelp
I love this little place! Yummy bites, excellent wine, very nice owner. I always stop by when I'm in Boonville.

Heather M.

Yelp
I absolutely LOVE this place. It is my favorite place in Boonville to grab a bottle of wine and have some small bites. (The shrimp is so yummy) Amazing wines and a great affordable wine section (Which is hard to find here in the valley). Wendy is super cool and is so helpful and always there to great you with a smile on her face (She never steers you wrong with her recommendations). I love sitting on the beautiful patio and tasting wine and enjoying here daily tapas. Great cheese selection as well and yummy bites. Wendy is adding new delicious eats to the menu every time I go in there. I just cant say enough about this special gem. Being from the big city I appreciate the attention to detail and the friendly homey vibe! A must stop when passing through Boonville.
