It was a great experience, both for the flavors and the atmosphere. The food was delicious and everything tasted really fresh. I especially enjoyed the pizzas with tomato sauce they were more to my taste compared to the ones without. I couldn’t stop staring at the beautiful green Italian olives they looked incredible, but I didn’t get a chance to try them. Definitely a reason to come back!

This is THE BEST pizza we have ever eaten. We are on a 3 month trip around Europe and this seriously blew our mind. We are off to Italy in a month but this has really set the bar high. Would eat hear on the daily if i could!

I traveled 5 kilometers to eat their pizzas. It was worth the trip. Another P/p place. The pizzas are delicious. We paid 73 euros for 5 pizzas and 3 cokes. The place is spacious, service is fast. They have a special hot sauce that comes in a bottle. I recommend you try it. You can go with peace of mind.

Another one of my fave pizza spots in town! We went for dinner, shouldve reserved earlier for a spot outside (summer), but vibe is great inside too! The disco ball pizza oven is the main piece and definitely an eye catcher. The service is nice and patient (we had a toddler and a baby) as well as accommodating to our needs. I got a Pizza Egidio, which was fantastic! The crust was nice and fluffy, the ingredients fresh. Also: they take American Express! Will visit again soon!

Well. It's not the best pizza I tried, I have to admit. Pizza with bufalla is leaking juices like it's a salad. Prosciutto is not Prosciutto, but some sausage, I would say. Cannot say I want to try it again.

One of the best pizza places in Vienna. Real Napolitan Pizza and great service.

The atmosphere at Disco Volante is great and their pizza "Patate Volante" was very tasty. Unfortunately we had a waitress who was quite ambitious of getting us out again. We had been informed at the beginning that our table (6:30pm) would be available until 8pm which is absolutely fine. I understand that their time schedule is tight and might be stressful at time. Preparing a table for the next guests requires time as well. It doesn't justify though that we have been informed three times within the last 15 minutes of our resevation that we have to go. I hope for future visits (I love your pizza!) that my friend and I don't have to encounter this again.

Yelp
Service was good. Ambience was excellent. Pizza was yummy and fresh but a little undercooked. Super fun concept!

Yelp
Perfect service, perfect food, perfect drinks. Nothing more to add. Pizzas have a perfect thin crust and toppings are not overwhelming. Loved sitting outside in the summer but also very cozy inside by the oven.

Yelp
Excellent neapolitan pizza! That's the bottom line. Here is the long version: Disco Volante produces impressive and authentic neapolitan style pizzas, in a disco ball shaped wood burning oven. The dough - very good! Slightly chewy and awesome! The sauce - great! Made with authentic San Marzano tomatoes, adding a touch of sweetness. I had three different pizzas there - Ripeno (Calzone), Buffala and Margheritta. All were excellent. As far as the calzone is concerned, it is hands down the best calzone I had in Vienna. It was prepared right (perfectly) and the cheese was warm and melted both on the inside and the outside - this is very tricky and even some great neapolitan pizza joints mess this dish up occasionally (if the cheese didn't melt and is cold inside, the calzone will suck). I highly recommend Disco Volante and look forward to going back.

Yelp
Disco Volante basically serve pizza only, and provide refreshing italian sodas and drinks. They have an usual ice tea lemonade that tastes more of an herbal maple syrup drink than actual lemonade (will not get it again). Their pizza is very good, and if there are not many people before you, the workers will make your pizza quickly. My favorite is their Bufala with Rucola and Grana (arugula and parmesan to Americans). Baked in a wood pizza oven decorated as a disco ball (hence: DISCO Volante), the crust is slightly burnt and chewy, not necessarily flavorful, but more plain bread-like. The toppings and pizza is delicious and good quality, so I definitely recommend this spot if you are around the area and need pizza!

Yelp
the food was ok and not too expensive. I went with three of my friends, and we had to ask waitress 3 times to get the check which took forever.

Yelp
If you're looking for great tasting Italian style pizza then this is the place to check out. By this I mean the paper thin crust with and coming start out of a Disco oven. Yes, the actual oven is a large disco ball. The overall setting is nothing to brag out. It's spacious and offers lots of seating, but that's about it. The lighting is so-so and the walls are plain white. The service is relatively fast and the staff is polite and quick to reach your table. Still the pizzeria seems to be always full and that says a lot. Yes, the pizza seems to be the big seller and I must say very good.

Yelp
Not as good as its sister restaurant Pizza Mari but still very good. It's authentic Italian pizza with a huge disco ball brick oven. The menu features the classics with few opportunities for substations but, to be honest, you don't need them.
