"Life Story, an independent store, is a temple to Scandinavian (and especially Danish) aesthetics. You might be able to tell just from the interiors, which are light and bright thanks to high ceilings and gorgeous windows; it's the perfect backdrop to the beautiful, minimalist products from up north and closer to home. Although there are plenty of Scandi design favorites here—like HAY and ferm Living, for example—owner Susan Doherty also champions British (and beyond) designers who share the clean-lined Nordic aesthetic. Look for locally made jewelry by Squid Ink, East London jewelry designer Wolf & Moon, and Ingrid Petrie's whimsical prints for kids." - Krystin Arneson

My grandson loved his visit. Lots of space for kids to move around and find things to interact with. It's very sensory and imaginative. The garden area is well laid out too. Enough activity to wear little ones out! The story staff are brilliant too.

Good space for fun time with little ones. I have a 18 month old and we chose just 1 additional event which was the story telling for babies 0-2 years. It was short and sweet and we gor plenty of time to enjoy the activities spaces.

My 3 year old enjoyed himself alot although I'd say he's at the older end to enjoy this space. Wouldent bring kids much older than that. Booked the box rocket too which he also loved. Fairly quiet was went weekday term time. Lots of space to run about and enjoy himself. Looses a star as mostly as we were told we couldent push baby around in buggey. We had to leave buggy in the buggy park and carry him the whole time. This was quite frustrating. I felt 42 pounds for 2 adults a baby and toddler was expensive for what it was.

Great place for kids of all ages! My two loved every minute of it. For the price it’s a great day out. Lots of fun activities and plenty to do. The outdoor area is nice too. All in all worth going.

My toddler loves it there so we have the annual membership and renew it every year. We go often and couldn’t recommend it more! Absolutely incredible, creative, beautifully designed and full of little surprises.

My 3-year-old really loved this enchanting, story-themed play space. We enjoyed pretending to save a planet at the Dapo Adeola exhibition (small additional fee) and making characters from wooden spoons, pipe cleaners, and other craft supplies. The outdoor space is lots of fun but it was sadly too wet for the slide. I appreciated the inclusion of an extra changing table outside the main baby change cubicle when this was occupied and my baby needed an emergency change! The café was busy but we got a table. My only difficulty was determined how to dispose of a leftover drink to utilise the recycling system. This is a lovely place for kids and well worth a season ticket if you are local enough to visit regularly.

Really fun and creative centre for babies kids and children. Very friendly staff, variety of spaces. We booked the story telling space rocket tickets for £3-£9 which was quite cool. I do wish the restaurant had a wider variety of food

I thought the place was beautiful. Unfortunately, my 27-month old daughter wasn’t very entertained in the inside spaces. She was afraid of some of the sounds the areas made and the smaller, darker niches. Her attention just wasn’t held. She really enjoyed the outdoor space. The café space was nice (on the hot side), and the staff was very friendly, but it seemed to be not well organized. I tried ordering something, had to check if they had it, they didn’t, changed my order, etc. I would go back again, but it just wasn’t the right fit yet for my daughter I guess.
