The car hire was very easy and excellent value for money. The quality of the car was superb and good fun to drive. Most of all, Gary in reception was a delight despite being at the tail end of a 12 hour shift.

Great experience, no bother at all with movemtur. Staff are top quality and very helpful. Pick up and drop off was quick and easy . Strongly recommended because it is the first time that I was not pushed to get additional insurance , but instead I was assisted in all my decision with zero pressure. The two girls at the desk are amazing

I would highly recommend Discover Cars. Both rentals, Specific in Lisbon and GUERIN in Madeira were excellent. Portugal is an incredible place and having reliable vehicles in both places to explore the country was crucial to us. A truly phenomenal experience for all of us.

Pros: Good value for money. The car was fresh and perfectly equipped with modern driving assistance systems, and had low mileage. Manager spoke English, and she was friendly and helpful. Cons: A queue for pick up the car at airport desk was absolutely insane. The biggest line among all other desks for car rental. It took 1.5 hours to get keys. I didn’t get a car I wanted and booked, just the same class instead. The car was not so clean, and dusty. I received Opel Corsa instead of booked Fiat 500

Always take some photos of the car before you use it and compare with the notes made of the supplier in the final agreement as a information notes if earliy damages is not fixed. I my case there was a little hole of an pencil etc at the drivers seat catched by camera before I used the car. It wss very helpul when I leave the car. No problems.

S C A M. Depozit 2000€ for a vacuum cleaner but NOT A CAR! They have bought fake positive reviews! The car was scratched. The owner didn’t want me to record it. The brakes didn’t work – they were skipping. The mirrors were so dirty that even after I cleaned them, they were unusable. The owner insisted I must not film or take pictures of the car when renting it. We got a completely different car, worth at most €200. On top of that, they demanded a deposit many times higher, which is not legally correct. In fact, nothing about them is correct. Beware of them!
