Discovery Hotel

Wonderful hotel. Clean, comfortable rooms. Great staff, very helpful. The breakfast is fairly good, but it is the same everyday. Not super close to transport, but not bad if you don't mind a walk or have a car. The attached restaurant is super tasty. The perch and pizzas are a can't miss.

In my job I travel a lot. Due to this i stay often in hotels. Mostly i try to stay near downtown. So I can explore the city after I finished work. This time I had a re opening outside the city boarders. So I found The the Discovery Hotel. The room was nice and cosey. Not to big and not to small. Just right for me. The bed was a queen size bed wich I liked a lot. As a tall man it’s always nice to have enough space in bed. The bathroom was moderate an had everything I needed. It could be a bit bigger. Everything worked, the room was clean and I had a great stay in this Hotel.

Blazing Internet. Really a good business hotel, quiet, slept till 8am as room was completely dark and no sound- unusual for me as I wake up at 630 no matter where. So good night sleep assured. However, need transportation to get to lake or other points of interest Laussane. I guess friendly service comment in this forum is relative. Used to a lot better service, a couple of times I asked front desk a question I got the shoulder shrug. Maybe still par excellence for French standards.

It's a great value hotel that has nicely minimalist room design. It is a little away from anything else, so staying here on foot might be troublesome if you want an alternative to the restaurant. I did walk to the Crissier Commercial centre from here, but there are dark sections without a pavement on the way. The restaurant is excellent, although shockingly, not open on Sundays. The food was very good, but maybe needed a little more choice, especially if you're not fond of steak tartare.

Cool space/astronomy themed hotel. Nice modern rooms with great lighting, and extremely tasty breakfast. Definitely one of my favourite and more memorable hotel stays. Would 100% visit again.

Stayed here for conference. It's some distance from downtown lausanne. I took a bus and metro each day. The room was large enough and clean. Staff were helpful and multilingual.

Staff not helpful. Quite polite but you perceive that you bother them. Hotel with building works around. Two road closed only one available, but the people receptionist and manager, are not able to help me to get there. I found it by myself after 20minutes. They thought that by gps you reach the place (pity that the building work closed 2out 3 roads). As usual the room are cold. It happened in.my last stay. Tbe A/c switch is on Red position, but nothing. As usual they say that after 15minutes the room get warmer (of course not)... thet have a central switch for temperature setting, but they postpone the solution..(why)...let wait other 15minutes. And an heater appeared in the room (wow 3stars hotel). Room with no fridge. No really cust service...i have to leave around 6. They serve breakfast at 6,30. Any wsy to get something...a lunchbox a coffee...NO (and i paid)... very helpful people..." by the way with/without breakfast is the same price"...ohhh really. Avoid this place if you can

Located close to highway with free parking. Rooms are clean and of adequate size. Some rooms offer a view. Close to Leman center for shopping. Relatively quiet however construction happening around.
