Discovery Lagoon Caravan and Camping Ground

Great campsite. Very pleasant reception by owner Kerry, good orientation to site and amenities! Large size camps. Both times we chose to stay on the edge parallel to the road. Only occasional traffic which was no problem. rustic/spacious amenities block. Impeccably clean Large camp kitchen nicely equipped. Just loved this campsite… so much that we returned for 2 nights prior to our return home. Highly recommend. Thank you Kerry.

We had a wonderful stay at this camping site. The facilities were excellent and very well maintained, making the experience comfortable and enjoyable. Amenities such as clean bathrooms, good cooking areas, and well-organised spaces really stood out. The site was peaceful, family-friendly, and surrounded by nature, which made it perfect for relaxing. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a campsite with great amenities and a pleasant atmosphere.

My partner and I stayed here in late January this year and had an amazing time. The bathrooms are the best camping bathrooms we have ever used, so clean and spacious. The owners were so kind and helpful, and we spotted quite a few koalas around the site too. It's also in a great location, so close to Emu Bay Beach, The Lavender Farm and Kingscote. I definitely recommend this place if you're visiting Kangaroo Island!

Extremely well equipped, the fridge and freezer was unexpected but welcomed, and the kitchen had four gas burners and two hot plates and came with pots and pans too. The toilets and showers are cleaned daily. Close to Kingscote and excellent base for exploring the north part of Kangaroo Island. There are even charging points in the washrooms that are located in lockable cupboards. Sites are large and well spaced apart.

Stayed in our van. It was a very basic park and quite dusty (may be due to the drought). The amenities were big, clean and overall they were nice. Water pressure to van was poor. Not sure how it was in the amenities. Staff were pleasant but would probably stay elsewhere next time.

My husband and I have spent 5 nights here in a tent site. We still have one more night 😊. We absolutely love this campground. It has all we need. It’s very clean and has tranquil atmosphere. We hope to return one day. Maggie,

Absolutely beautiful camp ground . Peaceful and immaculately maintained. Hosts are beautiful people and we enjoyed every minute spent in nature. One of the best parks we have ever been to. If you are travelling on Kangaroo Island make this spot your base ! Pet friendly too 💯

🖐️ Excellent place to stay whilst visiting KI. Centrally located to most tourist attractions, it's a very peaceful & quiet location within the natural environment. Both the cabins & camping grounds are maintained immaculately by Kerry & her partner including the camp-kitchens & other amenities like laundry & toilets. You can even access wifi for internet services there too! ✌️🤠👍
