Discovery Lagoon Caravan and Camping Ground

Best bush camp we've been to! Spotless amenities and Kerry the owner/manager is so accomodating and friendly. Our site was away from the road so we found it very peaceful. So much to see in the area and Emu Bay is just stunning. We visited in mid January so weather was perfect! The campground is a credit to its owners and a very valuable tourist asset to KI!

We stayed in a powered campsite for 3 nights as a base to discover the North East of the Island. Great location and super clean amenities and camp kitchen. Highly recommend

We stayed at Discovery Lagoon Caravan Park for two nights while visiting Kangaroo Island. The amenities were good, with warm showers and clean facilities, plus the convenience of access to drinking water. The surrounding area was lovely and peaceful. However, the map mentioned a park for the kids, but it only had three swings. It would have been great to see more play equipment for the kids to enjoy.

Perfectly clean toilet and bathroom areas. Authentic Aussie bushland camping. Beautiful and peaceful. Plenty of space on each site. Good clean camp kitchen with herb garden. Saw 3 koalas in the campsite trees. Welcoming, safe, camping, I definitely will use this camping ground again. Thanks

If you like only 5min hot shower then your set... Hot water is timed out after 5mins. BUT with that being said beautifully cleaned everyday toilets and showers. Our Caravan site was well away from all others and still very close to toilets/showers, A Good spot for base camp.

Great campground with some of the cleanest campground toilets and amenities I’ve seen. Was very quiet and was nice and peaceful. The lagoon area is also beautiful

We camped two nights at this site while visiting Kangaroo Island. The campsites were generously spaced, and had a spectacular backdrop as it hugs onto the picturesque Discovery Lagoon. Reception was friendly and helpful. The amenities were excellent with a fully functional kitchen, comfortable dining space, very clean toilets and showers. There were power points in lockable cabinets in the toilets as well. We had a wonderful and refreshing stay with our pet dog. We even saw echidnas, swan and cygnets near our camp site!

Beautiful campground, very quiet and nice shared facilities. The toilets and showers are super clean and their use is included in the price. The kitchen area is well equipped and also very clean. Kerry is really friendly and helpful. We had a great stay!
