We stayed for 2 nights in mid August in a standard cabin. The staff at check-in were very helpful, and the shop very useful. The location was nice and it was just a short walk to the restaurant, which we loved.
The cabin however was the worst place I have ever stayed at in Australia. I don't think the cabin has been renovated this century, and the ceiling was water-damaged throughout. There were three heaters, only one worked (though it did heat the cabin well). The vinyl tiles in the bathroom were damaged and lifting, and the corners of the shower were full of pink gunge. The beds were clean and comfy enough, but they were on rollers and were very easy to accidentally move, and when you did it revealed the thick layer of dust and dirt underneath.
It wasn't until the 2nd night when I walked into the bedroom without shoes and realised that the carpet was wet. I assumed that the moisture absorbers in the bedrooms were for a leaking ceiling, but the carpet and bottom of the walls in the bedroom were just wet, not even near the window where water could get in. It didn't rain that much while we were there.
So the beds themselves were clean and comfy, but the rest of our stay was wet and dirty. The park itself is nice enough, and the staff are nice, but it's just not worth it for the terrible accommodation. Even if this was a cheap cabin it wouldn't be acceptable, and it wasn't very cheap.
