The cost to stay was astronomical and didn’t receive an ounce of value for money. We had 3 bookings…. Powered site + 2 cabins.
Firstly the powered site was extremely small, we had the horrible grey water from the last caravan in our sitting area. The roads were dirt and dusty and at an average of $94 per night, with a half empty caravan park I would expect a lot more and better quality roads.
The cabins, old tired, the kitchen table in one cabin wasn’t stable enough to put drinks on confidently, there was a frog in the toilet we had to remove and the fridge leaked. Only one bedside table and the floors in both cabins were filthy, didn’t feel like they had been swept before arrival.
The pool was dirty and got out of it because I didn’t feel comfortable. In addition, I asked if I could leave my caravan parked on the spot until 12 noon on day of departure as I was running family back to the airport and was told ‘there is no one booked on after you’ but you will need to use your late check out… as mentioned the park was half empty. We hitched up the van and moved it outside to the street to avoid having to deal with reception again.
On each encounter with reception whether it be my family or myself we experienced aggression first and foremost and were not happy with service and text messages.
Overall on our trip so far, we have stayed at 47 locations and this one rates the worst value for money and overall experience.
