The cost to stay was astronomical and didn’t receive an ounce of value for money. We had 3 bookings…. Powered site + 2 cabins. Firstly the powered site was extremely small, we had the horrible grey water from the last caravan in our sitting area. The roads were dirt and dusty and at an average of $94 per night, with a half empty caravan park I would expect a lot more and better quality roads. The cabins, old tired, the kitchen table in one cabin wasn’t stable enough to put drinks on confidently, there was a frog in the toilet we had to remove and the fridge leaked. Only one bedside table and the floors in both cabins were filthy, didn’t feel like they had been swept before arrival. The pool was dirty and got out of it because I didn’t feel comfortable. In addition, I asked if I could leave my caravan parked on the spot until 12 noon on day of departure as I was running family back to the airport and was told ‘there is no one booked on after you’ but you will need to use your late check out… as mentioned the park was half empty. We hitched up the van and moved it outside to the street to avoid having to deal with reception again. On each encounter with reception whether it be my family or myself we experienced aggression first and foremost and were not happy with service and text messages. Overall on our trip so far, we have stayed at 47 locations and this one rates the worst value for money and overall experience.

Second time here, 1st stay in one of their cabins. Friendly staff, clean, tidy, spacious cabin. Bed was so comfy! Beautiful grounds. Despite being close to the airport it was quiet & relaxing sitting on the front verandah of the cabin. Thank you for making our stay so comfortable & relaxing. Keep up the good work!

Great little cabin with everything I needed for a couple of days in Darwin. Close to the airport, and was a short drive to the city. Room and bathroom was clean. Bed was comfortable and had a spacious kitchen with fridge and utensils. There was adequate cookware to get by for a few dinners. Nice and quiet spot in the caravan park. Thank you for a lovely place to stay!

Stayed in a modern cabin. Nice large fridge freezer, a bit noisy but just switched it off overnight items still frozen in the morning. Fantastic shower and extremely comfy bed. I'm not the deepest of sleepers but plane noise didn't bother me, maybe loud if camping but not in the chalets. Pool was lovely.

I can see that staff are trying hard to please and that the buildings are all being maintained to a reasonable standard, but for such a tropical location we were very disappointed at how dead all the grass is & how many sites are just gravel. While the pool areas are quite tropical I don’t think you can claim that the sites are at all. The tree cover/ shade was minimal. The toilet blocks have heaps of amenities, but like most places it was a struggle to get near a washing machine.||Overall the worst part was the constant flyovers by the military jets, which are ridiculously loud. On day one it was a bit exciting & similar to a Top Gun movie set, but after the first couple of days the novelty definitely wears off & it just becomes annoying. They are so bad that you can’t hear anything at all other than the jet engines when they pass over & then they leave you with your ears ringing after several takeoffs in close proximity. They were even flying quite late into the night most nights. I realise that Discovery parks have no control over RAAF activities, but there is no mention of it on the website anywhere when booking & the no refund after checkin policy is the only reason we didn’t cut & run after a couple of days. I would definitely recommend that you don’t stay here if there is any suggestion that RAAF are running night operations.

Location fairly average for Darwin activities. You need to like planes because you are near enough under the runway. Caravan site (131) we had was smelly and impossible to get out of our correctly booked site without the opposite site being vacant. Pool and jumping pillow kid approved.
