Discovery Parks - Kalgoorlie Goldfields

It’s located next to airport next to the main road but our chalet not get any outside sounds to disturb our routines. We enjoyed well in swimming pool too. Clean and comfortable room with new experience to our kids to sleep at upstairs with open view. Highly recommended for family accommodation.

A well run park with clean, well maintained facilities but my reduced score is as a result of a washing machine malfunction which meant I had to rewash and spend $$ to attempt to dry very wet washing. On reporting the malfunction and the resulting cost I expected an offer of some recompense but nothing was offered. Not good service.

Booked one of the A frame units for a novelty experience 6 months prior. Arrived after a 7 hour drive to be given a different cabin we didn't book. Went to ask before moving in and were told they changed the booking ( without asking or informing). Cabin is dusty, old with mould in shower. It's made this glum town experience that bit worse and disappointed me and my child. Would not recommend staying here.

Greeted by an absolutely lovely helpful staff member called Mel , check in was easy and nothing was too much problem for her. Caravan park is very well kept, modern updated bathroom facilities, lovely pool area, clean laundry. Quite a few FIFO and permanent residents who all clearly respect and look after their areas. Very friendly. Only dropped 1 star as we did feel the price for a powered site was quite high at $69 for 3 people. Having been on the road for 8 months this is the most ever paid … however it was still holiday season which may have contributed. Would definitely recommend to others .

Unfortunately this was not a great experience. Potholes throughout badly sealed roads- dirt spots for motorhomes- slab sites for caravans. Not enough amenities and a particular staff member answered every question with a statement that i had not prepared for the long weekend! I was asking for an upgrade and change for the washing machines! There was loud arguments and children racing around until 11 at night! Maintenance men started drilling and fixing things at 7am on saturday and sunday mornings. There were also cars driving in and out at all hours- there were also lot of miners staying there

Stayed 1 night in a frame cabin. Thankfully only 1 night. Opened the door to the stench of something dead. Sprayed ample amounts of glen 20 but every time you went out and came back in the smell hit you. Needs some serious cleaning and major maintenance or a complete redo. Door looked like someone had tried to break in, screen door missing. Chairs outside missing slats to sit on. When mentioned smell next morning lady at reception was not very interested.

We absolutely love this accommodation park 😍 ❤️ In our experience (many times) The facilities have been wonderful, abloution blocks, pool, laundry, BBQ area's, grassed area's and tree's, a huge up to date camp kitchen and its pet friendly 😀 The employees are wonderful from management, office staff (especially Melissa) cleaners and maintenance.👏👏👏👏👏👌 Thank you for making our stays always absolutely wonderful. See you all again soon.

Pretty average. Ants all through our cabin wasn't great. The kids were bitten by something and had welts. Top bunk bed wasn't made and proper bedding wasn't provided until we asked. Lucky we arrived with staff present. Here for a week and no cleaning or anything done, not even fresh towels. Shops are close enough and an average park around the corner.
