Stayed the night , for Sydney accommodation it was very affordable and comfortable cabin. For park amenities the pool and playground were small, but Sydney has beaches and lots of playgrounds. Would stay again for cheap Sydney accommodation, wouldn’t come looking for action packed park like the other discovery park locations. Still very nice, room was set up well. Easy after hours check in and easy online booking process. Would recommend

I always stay at this hidden gem while in Sydney for work. The bush location means great views and quiet setting for the cabins, away from the noise of Sydney while still being right in the middle of it. The Metro station a few hundred metres away means the restaurants in Chatswood are just minutes down the line. The cabins are well priced, clean and self contained. The newer deluxe cabins and the glamping cabins are downright fancy and still very good value compared to a hotel in Chatswood or North Ryde. After hours check in is never a problem, and transport options include the nearby Metro, buses or there are always plenty of Uber drivers within minutes. Good spot for keeping a hire car too, it's an easy area to drive around compared to much of the city. The grounds has a laundry, several amenities blocks, swimming pool and there are plenty of bush walks in the national park. Caravan sites are well spaced and well above average if you pick your spot carefully.

Just stayed for 2 nights in the Glamping cabins and they’re absolutely outstanding. The grounds are immaculate and the wildlife just made it an amazing experience. We now wished we’d stayed an extra couple of nights. If we ever come back to Sydney there’s no way we’d stay in the city again. The train to the city is a 10 minute walk from the camp and a 15 minute ride in. Loved it and would highly recommend. Mind you, we were in the brand new accommodation so I can only recommend that. The older cabins looked a little dated but as we weren’t in those I can’t say how they are. I’d also point out that we were warned that one of the women that works at reception wasn’t very friendly. I know who the reviews are referring to and I can tell you she was absolutely fine with us. Shame as I think the resorts reviews are being affected because of her.

This place was amazing. We stayed two nights (3 persons) with a 4WD and two roof tents. We didn't need power. We loved this place, so much wildlife in contact with the people in the park. Nearby (literally next to the park) is a national Park which is beautiful. Facilitys are all clean the staff is super friendly and it's quite although it's just 10 km from central Sydney. Sometimes you hear a plane but it's not that noisy. A little walk from the camping ground there is a metro station. With Bus it takes about 30 minutes to get directly into the center of Sydney. I just can repeat it was a very enjoyable time and stay. Definitely one of the best campsites in Sydney.

we turned up last minute asking to stay the night - the girl at reception was super sweet and booked up in . We decided to stay an extra 3 nights and she booked us in no problem. The site was nice lots of bush turkeys and parrots ( I would recommend keeping ur snacks inside ur campervan as the turkey stole our chicken flavoured crisps ) the toilets/showers were not the nicest but were just okay. There is a metro station about 10-15min walk away too that takes you straight into the centre of Sydney - the pool was nice too

Booked and stayed for 4 nights over New Years, busy period. Booked out park. All the amenities were clean each time we went. Ample amenities spread throughout the park including communal cooking and wash up areas. They were able to shuffle our booking when our needs changed last minute, and they were very happy and super accommodating.

Well maintained park. Very nice location, within walking distance of train stations and busses. Access to nice walks along the river too. We requested specific sites due to special needs of family members and these were changed with no communication, even though I had called twice to confirm booking and enquire about early check (which they were very accommodating with). Overall a good stay, but could improve communication.

Best caravan park in a national park. Nature at your doorstep. Kookaburra’s, Parrots, cockatoos n magpies everyday. Sites are easy to access anywhere in the park. There’s been a few new additions to the park which is great with Glamping tents and brand new cabins. I can’t comment on the insides as we have a caravan. Our favourite sites are 1-6. Easy walking to the train to get to the city btw it’s a driverless train very cool. Train can take you to Large Macquarie shopping centre getting off at Macquarie university stop n just walk to shops. Theres Coles supermarket close by. Take a walk to the river it’s easy and so many more animals you might see on your way. I give this park 10/10
