I always stay at this hidden gem while in Sydney for work. The bush location means great views and quiet setting for the cabins, away from the noise of Sydney while still being right in the middle of it.
The Metro station a few hundred metres away means the restaurants in Chatswood are just minutes down the line.
The cabins are well priced, clean and self contained. The newer deluxe cabins and the glamping cabins are downright fancy and still very good value compared to a hotel in Chatswood or North Ryde. After hours check in is never a problem, and transport options include the nearby Metro, buses or there are always plenty of Uber drivers within minutes.
Good spot for keeping a hire car too, it's an easy area to drive around compared to much of the city.
The grounds has a laundry, several amenities blocks, swimming pool and there are plenty of bush walks in the national park. Caravan sites are well spaced and well above average if you pick your spot carefully.
