Discovery Parks - Lane Cove

My daughter and I stayed 7 nights in the standard cabin and it was perfect! We didn't want to be in the loud city but didn't have a car so we didn't want to be very far from public transport. It was a short walk that was easy to maneuver. And on the other side of the park, you could hike through a national park and riverwalk! This location couldn't have been better! The cabin was clean and had all the amenities it said it would. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

This is a beautiful place to spend a few days with your caravan. |The amenities are well maintained and the sites are big enough to give a little space as well as being accessible. |There are beautiful birds and wildlife around the park and a swimming pool as well for the warmer months. |As well as this there is a beautiful national park along the back of the caravan park. |Just minutes to the North Ryde train station means an easy walk and then a short train ride and you’re in the heart of Sydney. |Loved our stay at Lane Cove. Hope to be back again.

We needed a cheap place near Sydney to stay the for the weekend, but we decided to spend just a little more than expected for a more fun experience and this was so worth it. The cabin wasn’t flashy but it has everything you’d need, it was perfect and cozy with very effective heating. The only time we needed service it was quick and helpful, the caravan park itself is beautiful with 2 playgrounds, many amenities and countless kookaburras. The walking trails connected to the park were beautiful and refreshing and our main reason for booking, we rented a pedal boat (separately paid company, but accessible through the trail) down the river which was a beautiful experience, and it was insane to remember how short of a distance we were from the CBD. The only con was the amount of mould on the bathroom ceiling, but even that I can understand would be hard to maintain. Overall we highly recommend!

We have stayed here a few times over the years. It is a great location. However, we have noticed a downturn in accommodation standards for the cabins. They are showing wear and tear and in desperate need of updating. The cleanliness of the cabins is unsatisfactory. Build ups of mould, dust, and grime. WIFI has never worked, so you are unable to use streaming services. It's disappointing that the park is putting in new cabins while allowing existing infrastructure to run down. So, I unfortunately would not recommend staying in the older cabins.

We visit this park regularly and it absolutely awesome so wild and natural so much wildlife, staff are so accommodating and friendly. It is so much better to book a cabin here than book a hotel room in Sydney. Metro at the end of the street takes you into the city within 15 minutes 👍

Had a really lovely stay here. It was very close to the Metro and was quiet enough with a lot of bird life around. Well serviced amenities blocks. Will stay again if we bring the Van up to Sydney again as cheaper than staying anywhere else!

Our family has stayed here three years in a row (2022-2024) during December (outside school holidays) in a cabin. We have enjoyed staying here with plenty of native birds, pool, and close by to the Metro. I went to check to make another booking and prices to stay in a cabin for a week have increased by 20%. This is an unreasonable increase in price.

We stayed here for 2 nights. Great staff excellent location,very tidy and clean park. Excellent amenities eg bbq area camp kitchen. Caravan sites are excellent. Its a paradise hidden in Sydney. You feel like you are in the bush. We will be back thankyou. Highly recommend
