Discovery Parks - Margaret River

Lovely park. Well staffed and you feel very secure here. Just up the road from an amazingly cute little town Cowaramup. Just beautiful bike rides and lovely scenery. If you enjoy exploring this is a great little find. I have a permanent, painful injury that is aided with riding as part of my ongoing rehab so these finds being me much joy. Well run park. The sausage sizzle was unexpected and we are very thankful for it. The animal feeding was lots of fun and very engaging for everyone. Thanks guys!

Stayed here over the New Year period, we camped and our friends stayed in the cabins. Both the cabins and the park ammenities were extremely clean and smelt nice. The camp kitchen and BBQ area was also lovely. Live music was organised for NYE, which was free for all to attend. Staff were friendly and helpful, but not over the top with park rules. Great location to wineries and breweries for during the day. Plenty of shade. Definitely recommend staying and we will be back! Well done to all.

Smack bang in the middle of Margaret River, Discovery Parks MR hosts big sites, well established trees providing shelter and a beautiful farm backdrop. The facilities are consistently well maintained but could do with a mat in the showers to have something to stand on when exiting the shower. This campsite is extremely family friendly and hosts animal feedings at 4:30 to 5:00 which provide a wonderful experience for visiting families. Would recommend for your trip to Margaret River.

Not normally one to make google reviews but this was an extremely disappointing stay. A group camping next to us was extremely loud after 10pm. I tried to call the after hours number and it rang out twice with no answer. I called the following day to request some compensation. I was offered $5 back from my $50 one night booking. After speaking to the manager, I was offered $10 back and the promise of them fixing their after hours phone. Quite disappointing compensation for what occurred. A $10 refund and the park fixing their phone is hardly beneficial to me. What a waste of money that hopefully ‘peaceful’ night away was.

Stayed at Margaret River Discovery parks for the christmas /new years period and it went very well. Located really close to the middle of the Margaret River regions, it is very close to few wineries, couple minutes away to the town, and you are able to stargaze in the dark. This place is very clean, and provided everything you needed. This place also have some animals /pets which make you feels closer to the nature. On top of that, it is in a very reasonable price.

Great location. Has lots of farm animals on it, plus a camel. They do animal feeding every day at 430pm. Lots of shaded sites. Lots of mosquitoes and sand flies so be prepared. Ensuites are nice.

What a fantastic park. Neat n tidy and clean amenities. Large sites. Staff are very friendly and helpful. There's is a great camp kitchen with potbelly fire for the cooler nights. The children love feeding the friendly camel, pig, sheep, cows n goat. Close to Cowaramup and all the wineries. A 15 minute drive to Margaret River. The park is quiet, a great spot to base ourselves for a couple of weeks while we discover all the wider area has to offer. The park is dog friendly.

Love the animal feeding (daily at 430pm). Amenities were clean, site was clean-ish (it’s sand site). Limitations were: - not enough grass area for kids to run around - camp kitchen had uneven ground; a few kids during our stay has tripped over the ground - not enough activities for kids (a swimming pool will be a lovely addition)
