Car got Broken into at 2am. Did not feel safe here at all. No Cameras. No Safety Beams. Notes everywhere saying lock everything up. The pool area was very lovely though! Kids really enjoyed the pool. The safety aspect just was no good. And also you can't drive your van up the rows as everyones boats are sticking all out on the verges so extremely hard to park the caravan.

We left one day early clearly catering for FIFO workers tourists are not a priority in this town showers and toilets where not clean while we where there bins in the bathrooms were not emptied maybe we missed cleaning day for the 3 days we where there. But with the amount of FIFO people staying long term im sure you could put on more staff. Also more expensive than a tourist based park. Which is understand the whole supply and demand thing. Pool had stones on the bottom for all three days not sure if the cleaning machine wil pick them up.

Very clean and tidy park and staff friendly. Pool area was great and given all the red dirt they did a good job of trying to keep shower and toilet areas clean! Could do with another playground as we have younger kids but for a place to stay when travelling the area worthwhile location and felt very safe

Found the park nice and quiet at night. Close to IGA. Swimming pool is refreshing but could do with more shade around it and some extra deck chairs. Found permanent residents kids took over the pool and that wasn’t very relaxing.||The studio room itself was a reasonable size but not huge. Not sure about other units but ours had outdated cabinetry and gas cooktop. The old wall air conditioner was very loud and struggled in the heat.||Not sure I’d stay here again. Would depend what else was available

Terrible location. Walking distance to nothing worth seeing. You need a car. The pool is great but there are only 3 lounges on offer for a 188 site caravan park. Really???? Get up early to get those rare commodities. The sites are generous but incredibly overpriced. In 6 months of travelling, Karratha is THE most expensive park. Toilets/showers are clean and lots of them but there were 2 Occasions where there was NO toilet paper at all. If you don’t need to stay in Karratha, go to Pount Samson Cove Caravan Park, $20 Cheaper a night, right on the beach, a beautiful vibe. Pick up your game. This place is not worth it.

Phoned a week in advance to pre arrange the logistics of a longer term stay (1mth) only to arrive and be told different information than discussed…. Male manager of the park was extremely rude and arrogant, not prepared to work with us on a solution and very unhelpful. The Lack of customer service skills and rude attitude suggests it’s maybe time to throw the towel in and find a new career path….. I would never recommend this park to anyone to stay even if you are desperate. There is nothing to promote but an overpriced park and arrogant manager who runs it… what a shame to the town of Karratha as you don’t have many options….

Went to book a longer term stay of 1mth for work opportunity as we are travelling full time. Staff were very unhelpful at accommodating such booking. There was conflicting information given over the phone at the time of pre booking only to arrive on the day and be told something different. Male park manager was extremely rude, abrupt and arrogant. Was not prepared to work with us on a solution…. his delivery of customer service skills is lacking and arrogance suggests it’s time for a new career path…. |Unfortunately accomodation in Karratha is slim pickings. However there is no reason to treat customers this way knowing full well there is nothing else available…. What a disappointment to the face of Discovery Parks and the area to have a treasure like him in the community…
