We booked the campsite for 4 nights, at checking not much info was given… here’s a map the camping area is over there beside the car park and up the back of the grass area was about as much info as we got.
We had a trailer with our tent and gear inside, our tent weighs around 40kg. I reversed our trailer up to the back of the grass area to unload, one of the reception girls with dark hair approached us and said “you can’t drive on here”. I responded by saying “our tent is very heavy, how do we get it up the back of the camping area?” She responded quite abruptly saying “eh, you carry it”. She then said “move your car” She was very rude, very unpleasant and definitely not the kind of person that should be working in hospitality.
I went back to the reception to get more info, I explained that there is no signage to say that we can’t unload our vehicle on the grass and that our tent is quite heavy and would be difficult to carry all the way to the back of the camping area. The helpful fella at the reception took the time to explain that we could actually set up camp right on the edge of the car park area on the grass, this suited us perfectly as we could reverse the trailer up to the grass area and unload. Why couldn’t the female have been nice and helpful and told us this instead of being rude and just telling us to move?
Overall, the facility’s are ok and the campsite is peaceful in the evening. Great having the pool next to the campsite, the kids really liked that.
This review is marked down solely on the female receptionists attitude and lack of customer service skills.
