Discovery Parks Karratha has been a fantastic place to stay. The relaxed atmosphere is perfect for families, with a focus on letting kids be kids without unnecessary hovering. It’s refreshing to see a park that truly embraces this philosophy. Any issues we’ve had have been promptly addressed by the team, and if they couldn’t resolve something directly, they’ve provided helpful advice to get it sorted. The staff go above and beyond, and a special mention has to go to the older maintenance man – he’s the friendliest, hardest-working person we’ve come across and always has a smile for everyone. Another standout is their flexibility with bookings. They’ve been more than happy to accommodate extensions when needed, which has made our stay so much easier. Overall, Discovery Parks Karratha offers a welcoming and stress-free experience, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone!

Fantastic amenities and surroundings, however one rude and intimidating manager Tim has completely disgraced this site. Such a shame that even when approaching the regional manager, he spoke to a woman the exact same tone as Tim and would not deal with mine and others complaints about the rudeness and intimidating manager. This experience has completely tarnished mine and others opinions of this park. Child friendly??? Absolutely not!

Easy to access and clean. The rooms could do with some love as they haven't been updated in over 10 years. The TV was also extremely small, appx the size of a 600ml bottle. The staff were lovely and helpful.

Nice large level sites. The ensuite was very old and could do with a new pedestal and remodelling. Camp kitchen and laundry were OK and the swimming pool was small and not much room for us oldies once the kids and parents got there. The major concern was the young children 🧒 riding bikes around the roads, most with no helmets, and not watching for cars etc.

We stayed here last week camping in swags we where shoved into a corner at the front of the park it was a grassed walk way i would call it that every one used, And we couldn't even park near our site (and every tom dick and harry parked there, so if u leave to go someone ur lucky to get ur parking bay back, we also had a big boat) people where walking their dogs Through The Grass area where we were camping and letting the dogs go to the toilet I actually stood in poo and nearly walked into my tent, there is no designated dog area which I think is outrageous. The toilets and showers are feral and we were kept awake by people in their cabins fighting and having arguments and I had one drunk man abuse me one night because I asked him to keep the noise down at 9:30 this campground remind us of a mine site There is nothing appealing about this place. It is awful and very unclean. The camp kitchen and one toilet was so run down and out dated we where so lucky we did not need the kitchen We will never visit again or recommend this place to any one

Good place to use to explore the area. Park does not enforce pet poo pick up. The second bathroom is earmarked for updating. The pool is enjoyable. Sites are large with cement slabs for van and awning.

Lovely park but in the morning 2 of the 5 male toilets had no paper resulting in a que and no hand towels left, please when occupancy rates are high the stocks in the amenities need to be checked more often. Other than amenities letting you down a really nice park.

Great place. Very quiet. Easy to access. Only negative’s I had was I was in a self contained cabin which wasn’t checked during my 4 night stay, so had to go and ask for more sugar and dishwashing sachets. The wifi didn’t work so had to hotspot so I could work. TV was small and being in a 2 bedroom cabin that could accommodate a family, it really needed a smart TV, but needs the wifi fixed first. Not being a TV person it didn’t bother me, but a family might find it an issue. Being there for business, it had everything I needed though and I would stay again if I need to return. I loved the way they did Halloween with all the kids! Such a nice gesture.
