Ella was very accommodating—she assisted us during check-in, explained all the protocols clearly, and even asked the bellboy to help bring our things up since I had my child with me. During check-out, she was also the one who assisted me, kindly asking us to wait while they checked the room to ensure we hadn’t left anything behind.||The housekeeping staff were very nice and attentive to our needs. They always greeted us with a smile and a bow whenever we passed by in the corridors. The dining staff were equally warm and helpful, consistently checking if we needed anything, especially for my child.||Overall, our experience was wonderful. The room was clean and comfortable, and we’ll definitely make sure to come back again.

My family and I had a wonderful time at Discovery Primea. Our room was cozy and spacious, they have a comfortable living area and bedroom, and a complete kitchen set-up. They have the best view from our bedroom and location is good too, just a few steps to Glorietta. And a PLUSSSS in their heated infinity pool with a view, we really enjoyed it. Everywhere is clean and safe for kids! The kids had the best time. Breakfast buffet was great too! Staff are accommodating and courteous, special mention to HK staff Mark and Joven who went beyond and above to ensure our comfort. And even at night, Jason from HK handled our request with a smile. Christian from the pool area also was very helpful. It was a memorable experience. Will definitely choose to stay here again.

It was a fun and memorable stay for us. Thank you for assisting us Sir Amyr, you truly go above and beyond for us. You made our first time here in the Philippines easy and convenient. I’ve had the chance to stay at Discovery Primea twice this year, and both visits left me with wonderful memories.||My first stay was in May with my mom at the Business Flat, which we booked to celebrate Mother’s Day and her pre-birthday. My brother even joined us later for dinner at Tapenade, which was such a nice touch since guests are allowed. That evening, the Rockwell Lights were glowing, making the poolside photos extra magical. The breakfast buffet was included, though service for drinks and water was a bit slow that day since it was busy. I’d recommend checking and maintaining the furniture and fixtures as the hotel is not brand-new, but overall our stay in May was still excellent!||Fast forward to August, we came back and stayed in the Primea Suite (perfect for 4 pax). Breakfast service at Tapenade was noticeably improved—basics like water, drinks, and utensils came quickly without needing to follow up. There were no Rockwell Lights that night (tip: check their page for schedules), but the pool was still a highlight. Dining at Flame was a treat, with great service and food (4/5 🌟). I also appreciated the kind gesture from management allowing us a 2 PM checkout. Hopefully next time I can book a pool view facing the Urdaneta side!||All in all, Discovery Primea strikes a sweet spot—an amazing 5🌟 hotel with mid-range pricing that feels like a quick, luxurious getaway from home and the everyday routine. Definitely worth coming back to.

Spacious room, great location and wonderful service. The hotel amenities were top-notch, offering everything I needed for both relaxation and convenience. My daughter absolutely loved the swimming poll, it wasn’t crowded at all, and the fact that it’s a heated pool made it even more enjoyable for her. It was a great way for us to relax and unwind. The location is also a big plus, it’s conveniently situated near major malls and offices, making it perfect whether you're here for business or leisure. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely love to stay here again!

One of my favorite hotels in Makati City. Location is within walking distance of Ayala Malls. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. Our hotel manager Nikko saw to it that our stay was pleasant as possible. Will definitely book here again.

We had a wonderful stay, and I want to especially highlight the outstanding service. When my son fell ill during our visit, the staff responded immediately by sending a nurse to assist us. They were genuinely concerned and checked in on us regularly. To make things easier, they even offered us a complimentary late check-out, which we truly appreciated. Their kindness and attentiveness made a difficult situation much easier to handle. Highly recommended for their exceptional hospitality!

Stayed here for our dog’s 6th birthday since they claim to be pet-friendly. There’s a pet fee of ₱1000, which was minimal compared to other pet-friendly hotels nearby. But they didn’t provide dog amenities like bowls, bed or even treats (unlike Novotel, Ascott, Citadines & Somerset). Worst was, dogs are ONLY allowed in your room, not in the lobby nor restaurants, even pool area. They didn’t have a designated area for pets to relieve themselves or even play. Check-in was fast and room was all set but the receptionist was a snob. Other staff like elevator & door men, in-room service & breakfast staff were friendly. Breakfast selection was not good, definitely not 5-star quality. In-room service meals (bistek Tagalog & pork adobo were too salty. Location is excellent coz malls are nearby, plenty of restaurants and cafes at Glorietta, Greenbelt or Ayala Triangle.

We booked a twin suite which had two bed rooms, a kitchen, washer, dishwasher, living room, and two bathrooms. The price was around $500 for 2 nights 3 days. The lobby was clean and the staff were nice. Our booking came with a 4-person breakfast for each day and the breakfast was a half american half filipino buffet. The down side of our experience here was the slow staff service, such as room service, tech support, etc. Also, the rooms in our suite had weird unknown curtain and carpet stains, which were frankly disgusting (see attached photos). For the class and price range of this hotel, they could do a lot better in maintaining and presenting their rooms. We do not plan on recommending or staying here soon due to these occurrences.

This is our third time to stay at this hotel. For the first two times, we had a two bedroom suite. This time we booked a 'Business Apartment, 1 King Bed.' We are Gold members of Hotels.com and are entitled to room upgrades if it's available. Instead, we get a room with peeling bathroom baseboard paint. At 8:35pm, there are room upgrades available above our room category. Clearly, DJ lied about not having any room upgrades available. We were only staying here for one night. This will be our last time here. So many other hotels in the area, Shangri-La, Peninsula, Raffles and many more. We cannot support a business that do not honor what they advertise. ***UPDATE: Coming back on here again to share that I sent the hotel an email, and I'm glad they responded within 24 hours. I spoke with Jude, he was very professional. They addressed the (3) things I mentioned below: the no complimentary breakfast, gym restrictions, & spa availability. They noted that my frustration wasn't because there was no free breakfast, but rather the lack of hospitality and terrible first impression from the front desk upon check-in, then later being unable to book a spa treatment and learning that the gym had capacity restrictions... Anyway, they explained to me that a lot of their amenities and services are third-party so they don't dictate their operating hours. In the end, even though I wasn't asking for anything they gave me a late check out to maximize my time here at the hotel. I'll give them another star, for at least trying to explain why things are the way they are at this hotel. I hope this helps someone when deciding on where to stay in Makati (especially if it's your first time ever in Makati, like me.) Have a nice day!*** I rarely write reviews but I feel like I need to for this one. Please know that it's my first-time staying with DP. And I feel like I made a mistake in choosing this as my hotel while I'm here in Makati. First of all my stay isn't even over yet and I just feel like what I paid for doesn't even equate to the luxury that the hotel market themselves as. When I checked in... no one acknowledged that it's my first time, didn't even get like a "thank you for choosing us". I didn't feel very welcomed. And on top of that I'm staying five nights and paying for a business suite and I asked about breakfast if they were complementary... it wasnt! That's an opportunity for front desk to say "hey you know your room doesn't have complementary breakfast but since it's your first time let me go see what I can do..." But again nothing of that conversation happened. Now I have until end of the week to be here and I feel like I just made a huge mistake choosing this because it's not been a pleasant experience so far. I have to reserve the gym when I want to use it. The spa isn't available during the weekdays. Being away from Los Angeles and visiting Manila, I chose DP so I can have the convenience I do at home and feel good while checked in and I am not feeling remotely close to good at all. (PS Ive been visiting my friend who happens to be staying at Ascott Makati and they have 24/7 spa and we enjoy the complementary breakfast there.) Outrageous!!! I don't recommend Discovery.

Nice hotel. Stayed for business so not sure of tdaily rate at the moment. Staff very friendly very helpful. Will attach a couple of pictures of the infinity pool which was very nice. The restaurant was decent for breakfast. Rooftop bar very nice small but view very nice. They put daily treats in your room which is very nice fruit and brownies. They have local channels so you can watch what you want on TV. Everyone in hotel speaks good English. I do recommend this hotel it is in a safe environment right across the street from the huge mall and not far from the supermarket.

I was able to stay at Discovery Primea because my family was visiting from Sydney. They booked a 2-Bedroom Suite and, from the moment you enter the hotel, everything felt perfect! First, the staff is very helpful and patient with all their guests. They make you feel welcome like you'd feel when you arrive at your own house. You will meet many members of the staff, who will do their best to make you feel at ease. If you have a request, they are always there to help you out. Second, the location of the hotel is at the heart of Makati. You are minutes away from the biggest malls of Manila. So, you can go shopping and eat at any of the best restaurants. The rooms are spacious and the windows of the bedrooms are wide. This means that they let natural light in throughout all the rooms. The beds are so comfy! The moment you lay yourself down, you immediately want to curl into a fetal position and SLEEP! Within the hotel, they have 6 restaurants/bars to choose from. Some are fine dining and others are for casual dining. I have been to the Tapenade, 1824, and Pool Bar. Tapenade has an excellent array of dishes in their buffet. The Pool Bar is serves delicious cocktails while you swim at the pool and watch the sunset. If you want to have a whiskey night, head over to 1824! This is an amazing hotel and definitely worth the money! :)

We booked a room at Discovery Primea for a girls night out. The hotel is situated along Ayala Ave. Malls are easily accessible with an underpass entry right in front of the lobby entrance. I checked-in early at 1pm. The room is undoubtedly impressive. Service is just as excellent. Our package comes with an impeccable breakfast spread for two. The pool's vista is the urban jungle of Makati and there's a bar at the highest floor with the same amazing view. Primea made it to the top spot of my favorite hotel in Manila.

10 day quarantine in this hotel. Large 1 bedroom, plenty of room for 10x days. The food was almost consistently good, sometimes a miss, but ordering from the menu "Tapenade" was always delicious. Great WiFi, brought my PS4 and hooked it up to the TV / WiFi (for streaming ). Staff took care of me, the testing, and release...no complaints. I did have a leak in the bathroom (nothing gross) and they got it cleaned up and fixed right away.

I recently stayed here for a 10day staycation with my family and we we were beyond satisfied and happy with this hotel. My family and I really enjoyed this hotel from the beginning to the end of our vacation in Manila. Words cannot describe how beautiful this hotel is! There are many hotels in the area of Makati but in my opinion this one set the bar high! First of all The location- it was near A big shopping mall (glorietta, SM, Rustans , Mercury drug, true value, toy store, food court , restaurants, movie theatre ). Literally a 5-6 minute walk from the hotel Also it's near by other attractions such as airport, okada , resorts world, solaire casino, mall of Asia. There was soo much my whole family could do with easy access to other attractions. Second - The moment you walked into the lavishly styled hotel lobby, you are greeted by the staff with a very warm, welcoming and friendly vibe! All staff spoke English well so communication wasn't difficult at all. Check in was fast and concierge was very helpful. The staff are very attentive and addressed any issues we had had immediately! Third- We had booked the twin primea suite This particular room is a 2 bedroom suite with 1 king bed in 1 room and another separate room with 2 twin beds . The room had 2 separate bathrooms and our room was overlooking the infinity pool and makati/Manila skyline! Very spacious and decor was modern , contemporary. It was gorgeous! Let's face it the Philippines is warm and humid and you didn't feel that at all because the air conditioning worked so well in the room. The beds were very comfortable and the room was spacious and clean. 4th- The restrooms had hot and cold running water for bathing and showering. We also had an outlet to plug in our flat iron, curling iron , laptop ,cell phone chargers in. 5th - We also had a kitchen with all the appliances you would need to dine in or even cook. Our room also had a dual washer and dryer. 6th - the infinity pool was beautiful during the day but even more stunning at night. Very picturesque view of the city. The pool was never crowded during our stay. 7th - The hotel also provided a free continental breakfast buffet in the am which served not only Filipino cuisine but American /Asian food as well ( example typical American continental breakfast such as pancakes, French toast , bacon, eggs, oj, coffee, cheesy potato , hash brown, assorted breads , cereals as well as the usual Filipino breakfast foods longinisa, tapa, adobo, champorado, arroz caldo.... etc 8th - They have other bars /restaurants in the hotel ( my favorite one was poolside) good music, great bartenders.... Also there are many other bars, restaurants to go outside of the hotel nearby to enjoy the nightlife scene if you are into bar hopping and listening to good music. I traveled to many places in the US such as New York , Las Vegas, Florida, San Francisco, Hawaii , Arizona , Mexico and this hotel is exceptional compared to a lot of other hotels in I've stayed in! We were relaxed and pampered here our whole stay! I highly recommend this place for leisure or business! If you don't want your kids/family to be culture shocked in the Philippines this is the place to stay! My kids did not want to leave.....hopefully this review will help you choose where to stay I kept contemplating which hotel to choose in makati and I'm glad we made the right choice!

Fantastic top notch hotel with excellent concierge desk. Our room was spotless and the pool is fantastic. Really lovely staff, I recommend the Toni and Guy salon too!

Well here I am again...my mom and sister wanted to staycation here for a week, so I ended up joining them. I believe we got the same room the last time my parents and I stayed here several years ago for quarantine. My dad passed away since then, so it's kind of sad when I thought about him being here then... Anyhow, this place is still three stars for me. Though there were no cockroaches that greeted us when we got here like last time, the ironing board was broken, the tv remote in the living room didn't work, and the washing machine wasn't completely doing what it was designed for. These inconveniences were corrected quickly, however, as soon as I brought them to the front desk's attention; yet still, these inconveniences should had been avoided if the hotel would do a quality check on their rooms after cleaning them once the guests check out. I also need to mention the towels in one of the bathrooms were grayish looking when they should be pristine white and the coffee machine spewed dirty water when my sister ran it to get hot water for tea. The complimentary breakfast buffet is okay. The hot food section I found to be lukewarm (nothing irks me more than lukewarm breakfast that's supposed to be served hot!). At any rate, will all my complaining, I still cannot say I'm gravely disappointed. The friendliness of the staff here is outstanding. With that alone, I'm willing to overlook those inconveniences I've mentioned. Will I come back here again for a 3rd time? Maybe.

5 stars for excellent service, beautifully and classy decor, location, value, cleanliness, and the outstandingly hospitable staff. Located in the high society part of Makati, nestled between The Pen and Ritz, DP boasts a hotel and residential accommodations on Ayala Ave. There is a SM, Rustan's, Mercury Drug, and Glorietta across the street. Do yourself a favor and skip the Mall of Asia and Mega Mall to avoid traffic. These stores across the street and walking distance from the hotel will do just fine. There are also lots of restaurants in the area. There is a 24 hour 7-11 walking distance at 2 blocks away for eggs, milk, laundry detergent etc. This hotel is decorated beautifully and very classy. The grounds, lobby, and rooms are always kept clean. The Filipino hospitality and service makes anyone feel like a millionaire. There is nothing they will say no to (of course within reason and legal limits). They are the best! The infinity pool in the 3rd floor is absolutely gorgeous. Overlooking the city of Manila which creates a perfect background to your morning or any time swim. The pool and hot tub are clean with comfortable temperature. We stayed at their 2 bedroom suite. The suite was equipped with an office desk, living room with flat screen tv, kitchen with washer/dryer, dishwasher, stove, full fridge, and all the kitchen amenities you can possibly need. The bedrooms were spacious providing necessities like slippers, robes, shoe horn. The bathrooms boasts Roberto Cavalli toiletries and all toiletries you can possibly need (loofah, toothbrush/toothpaste, comb, razor, shower caps, etc). The room came with 2 free breakfast which are a la carte with western and Filipino dish offerings. They also have a continental breakfast spread in the dining room. Try their espresso and cappuccino. They are very good! I will only stay at this place when I go back to the Philippines. I absolutely love the fact that I won't have to deal with Manila traffic to go shopping since it is walking distance from here. It is also only 35 mins away from the airport and it cost 185php for Grab. The hotel can help you set up the transportation. Although the hotel offers van transportation to the airport, the cost would have been 3,000php so Grab was a much better option.

Such a gem. This property is comparable to Four Seasons. Super clean, super pretty and staff ratio to each guest is 3 to 1, they are really waiting for you to ask them do anything for you. We booked a suite with our 2 little kids for 4 nights. The suite is spacious! There was a mini kitchen with a full on fridge including a washer and dryer! Which we definitely used after being in the country for 2 weeks. You don't even get that in US. The living space was impressive with great city jungle views, even had an office desk with all the outlets you need to handle business. The pool was a perfect temperature, we stayed at Shnagri La a week prior and their rooftop pool was COLD, I could only dip my feet in. Plus Discovery has a way better view! You won't regret booking here. Love this place

Very friendly staff with outstanding service. The hotel is beautiful and our executive suite was very luxurious. Views from every angle were amazing and the view from the infinity pool is one of the most relaxing and incredible views in all of Manila. Morning breakfast was very delicious with a huge selection. Wonderful amenities such as gym, pool, spa, bar and salon are available. This hotel is a vacation on it's own and I highly recommend it.

I have yet to stay overnight at this hotel, but I am a big fan of this Discovery hotel for a few reasons. First, the location is really good. It's located in Makati, but it's still in a quiet part and getting to and from the hotel is pretty easy. So it makes it feel like an effortless breeze to get to and from the hotel. The staff here are always very polite and accommodating too. I love the F&B outlets here - especially Tapenade which has a great spread of gourmet eats. The decoration and design of this hotel is also pretty luxe and it feels really spacious and very 5-star. It still doesn't have a lot of people coming in to eat, so it's nice that it isn't too rowdy or crowded, unlike the other hotels in Makati.

I don't know what that one star was about but I gave Discovery Premia 5 star for their great service. Our flight to Manila was early but the concierge accommodated us and let us in our hotel at least 3 hrs earlier since it was ready. The staff was super nice, we ordered room service and came within the max time of 30 min. We did laundry but the drier wasn't working, so service came right away to install a new one. They even offered to dry our laundry for free, but it wasn't necessary, since the dryer was fixed. Our hotel room was beautiful, I couldn't ask for a better place to stay, food was great, service was awesome and fast! It's been 45 years I haven't visited my "motherland" and I must say I will definitely come back to this hotel!

How this place is highly regarded, I absolutely have no idea. This place has horrible service and does not warrant the 1 star yelp requires me to give. I was told to wait 15 minutes to check in... an 1.5hrs later, still nothing. I ordered a chicken sandwich at the restaurant and waited 45 minutes... FOR A DAMN SANDWICH. Room service? Forget about it. The 30 minutes they tell you really is 1.15hrs. I HIGHLY SUGGEST YOU LOOK ELSEWHERE BECAUSE THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE, point blank. Stay at Shangri-La or Conrad... SOOOO MUCH BETTER than this garbage of a place. SERIOUSLY STAY AWAY. I also will contact senior management about this.
