Amazing burgers and quite original (mine had pineapple). Definitely in my top burger restaurants. Meat is fresh, potatoes are not frozen, kiwi ice tea is amazing. I'm going back to try the other burgers. Prices are around 200czk per burger, also, the staff is nice. (Just wished they had a very big burger for the real hungry guys)

Google
Best burger and I love the coleslaw though the fries is a bit soft after served. But overall, very nice meal and love this neighborhood in Prague.

Best burger in Prague. Hands down. Creative menu, tasty food. Staffs are very kind. They have vegetarian burger as well and their chips are good too. 😊🤘

Had to book well in advance to make sure we got a table here! We never received an email to confirm our reservation so had to rely on memory to make sure we turned up at the right time! So make sure you make a note of what time you're supposed to be there when you book. Nevertheless the food was very tasty. We ordered a Dish burger and a Chilli burger. Both were good and well presented. One portion of fries was enough between two people. Drinks service was a little slow, the waiter convinced me into having another beer (which I probably didn't need) towards the end of the meal and it then took ten minutes to arrive (by which point I was beginning to know I didn't need it) Sauces cost about £1 extra which is strange when you usually expect to get ketchup/mayo/mustard to your heart's content in a burger joint. They serve a nice local beer (see photo) which is also good value. However all in all it's about 760czk/£25 for dinner including tip so you can't really go wrong here.

Google
Very nice burger place, had one of the best experiences regarding burgers, easily one of the tastiest I've had. The place is very booked, you need to reserve your table otherwise there might not be food for you. The prices are very good for the quality of the food you get, left me impressed. The waiters are very nice and friendly. As someone mentioned that the place is kinda small inside, don't let that intimidate your gut, enjoy one of the best burger place in Prague!

Google
Excellent burgers and nice prices. Relatively close to the town centre (15min walking). The menu offers a wide variety of burgers, sides and desserts served by a really kind staff. If you like burger you Will fall in love with this restaurant.

Google
Insanely good burgers. Fresh meat and homemade buns, very inexpensive. Their fitness fries (with maple syrup and bacon) are a must, you can’t miss on them! They have a relatively big selection and some seasonal burgers. If you want to be sure to get a spot, don’t forget to make a reservation, they only have a few tables (which only adds to the cozy atmosphere though.)

To my taste buds, this was the best burger I've ever had, I always visited this restaurant everytime I visit prague. The place was quite humble, and hope they could keep their quality in the future Update 2022: still my favorite

Yelp
I live in America and I never thought I'd say this but their burger was better than any I've had in America. I visited with a friend the first day after terraces were allowed to reopen after the lockdown. We were the first in the restaurant and the staff was very friendly. The food was simple yet flavorful. It came out pretty quickly which was surprising in a good way. Dish is situated in a quiet area and the overall atmosphere is very pleasant. I'll definitely be back!

Yelp
Dish is the most popular burger restaurant in Prague, and it's also my favorite! They're a small bistro that gets filled quickly, so you MUST make reservations online. They have around 10 really interesting and delicious burgers to choose from, and you just have to pair them with the bistro fries with garlic and parsley! Also, their sauces are worth mentioning, especially to use as a dip for your fries. The BBQ sauce is one of the top 2 I've ever had and the confited garlic aioli is a perfect dip for fries or garnish for your burger (some burgers even come with it). Unfortunately, I didn't get to taste their "Dish remoulade" because it was all out, but it's their signature sauce, which I can only imagine must be amazing. Come to Dish and you're going to get high quality food, point blank, period.

Yelp
Dish is fantastic! From their wide variety of delicious hamburgers, to their bacon and maple-syrup fries(which are not on the menu but make sure to order!) Dish definitely lives up to its name. I ordered the Savory Burger and was pleased! The garlic aioli fries are a must along with Dish's own fry sauce. Not traditional Czech food, but definitely a great burger place!!

Yelp
This an excellent choice for a burger. The food is quality and you get to see people eating burgers with a knife and fork. There is no problem eating a burger with your hands, unlike the reaction I once got in Tokyo. Cheers

Yelp
This is how you do a burger!!! So many choices, full of flavor and really interesting! I ordered the Savory burger with Dish's ketchup, portobello mushrooms, onion, tomato, and Parmesan cheese chips. Was it deliciously messy? You bet! We also saw our server's face as she described the fries with bacon & maple syrup so we immediately ordered those, too. So glad we did! They're every bit as good as you imagine they could be!!! The only difficult part here is getting in. They're extremely popular and even reservations are difficult to get. We got lucky & got 2 seats at the kitchen bar walking in. So glad we did!!!

Yelp
If you are looking for really great burgers in Prague this is definitely the place to go! You can also get these with a glass of good beer or wine and as a bonus comes friendly and chilled ambiance. The burgers are combined with interesting ingredients and even if you are not a burger fan I am sure you will love them!

Yelp
As usual, I had high hopes for this one. A couple of months ahead, I read all about this place on yelp and had sky high expectations. The place is packed, so you'll need a reservation. We made a reservation one day ahead and it worked fine. As we arrived, the immediate impression was a modern, clean atmosphere, with a delicious smell of grilled burgers. Yummy. We sat down and took a look at the menu. I ordered (shocker) a cheese burger (stick to the ordinary, right?), and asked if they served gluten free bread. Sadly, they did not so the solution was that it had to be made "naked" - without bread. This suited me just fine! As the burgers arrived, I thought they were a bit smaller than expected. The taste was all right, but not as good as many other delicious burgers I've eaten elsewhere. To be honest I was a bit disappointed. The fries were really good though. Maybe I will come back and give them another chance, if they decide to make bigger burgers!

Yelp
Believe the hype! Best burgers in Prague! We had lunch here during our stay in Prague. I had the Savory and my friend had the Emiliana. And of course, you got to get the Fitness fries! Fries in maple syrup with bacon! Nom Nom!! Gotta make reservations, definitely a place to eat at while visiting Prague.

Yelp
I found this place on many guides on the best food / burgers in Prague!! And they weren't wrong. I ordered one of their burgers and it was delicious! The meat was so juicy and full of flavor. I also got the fries and ketchup which were additional, but essential to the meal. The service here is also great and the waitress was super attentive to our table. When it started raining, she seated us inside.

Yelp
I was already in love with my favorite burguer place in Prague, but a friend took me here last night and BAM! Cupido worked his magic. They have probably the best burguers in the city. I would personaly recommend the savory one, its amazingly tasty and well prepared. If you have the chance, go there as much as you can!

Yelp
Looks like the burger trend has officially made it to Prague as well. Living in London, I've seen dozens of burger places pop up over these past few years and I've read various newspaper articles describing this phenomenon. During my most recent visit to Prague, I heard from various different sources that the new and most popular food joint around is Dish, a burger place in the fashionable Vinohrady district (Prague 2). Hearing about such a place from various different sources, made me very curious of course and it was late one evening when I jumped into a taxi and headed to Dish. Upon entering the restaurant I was in the midst of loud chatter and banter and I immediately felt like a real local, as this place is the opposite of all the tourist traps in the Old Town. Given that it was just me, I chose a seat at the counter (I love watching cooks at work) and was immediately greeted by one of the waiters. The menu is simple: various burger options, sides and drinks. I went for the Trattoria Burger, not actually thinking much about what it contained but since it was the most expensive burger on the menu I figured it would incorporate all the good stuff. My overall food experience was actually only a-ok. I think what happened was that I had come after a big rush and the kitchen was already ready to shut down. Consequently, my food didn't deserve the attention that I would have hoped for (if I may say so): the burger itself was tasty, although I kind of wished it was a little bit more juicy. (You have to order all the condiments separately, which I don't find ideal, as I would like to sometimes just spread a little bit if mayo or ketchup on my burger.) The fries were unfortunately undercooked and had too much bite; that was a bummer, as the taste was really good. The side salad was big and tasty. While the food wasn't as much as I'd hoped for, I nevertheless enjoyed myself very much. And this was thanks to the very attentive waiting staff: they were totally on it. I was handed the menu right away; my order was taken quickly and all of it with a smile and friendliness that you usually don't find in Prague. (So I have been told!) At the end, I asked for a taxi and the waiter escorted me outside and communicated with the taxi driver, making sure that I don't get ripped off. Now that's good service! All in all, the food was only so-so, but atmosphere and service was great, so I left the restaurant a happy man!

Yelp
I was amazed that Dish had only got four stars here because I remembered it as such a good burger place, one of the two best in Prague, actually. Then we came back to check and...yes, it might just be a four star burger joint. The burgers ar terrific, don't get me wrong. The classics (featuring bacon, cheddar cheese etc) are just like they should be. Plus there are brave interpretations like a fruity-sweet gulas burger which kicks...well, you know what I mean. So, the burgers aren't the problem, then what is? Well, the place is annoyingly full on weekends. You basically have to know when exactly you are hungry as early as 9AM in order to get a table most of the time. Plus the fries, well, the fries are a bit bland. The "dish" ketchup is a nice salsa but doesn't really substitute real ketchup. As much as I love the burgers, and the draft beer too by the way, the place overall is not the best in Prague. It's a very close second though and maybe the best one in close proximity of major metro stations in the center of town!

Yelp
For my money (and it ain't cheap when you're making Czech crowns), the best burger in Praha. The place is small but nice, the staff courteous and, most importantly, the food is phenomenal. Recommend the Dish burger with the Bistro fries with garlic and parsley. I haven't been to Pete's or The Tavern which I've heard are great, but this place beats Nejen Bistro by a narrow margin. Very narrow.

Yelp
These burgers were a nice surprise. I did not expect a burger place in Prague, but none the less this place was amazing. If I were you I would get the dish burger and maple syrup fries. If I am in Prague again I would definitely go to this delightful place.
google avatar

Yang X.

Yelp
Overall the pricing was pretty fair and the service was very nice. The burger was hearty and highly recommend the maple syrup fries!

Yelp
Awesome place with great burger! Our first meal in Prague. You need to order a beer together with the burger, perfect set:).

Yelp
I have had quite a few burgers in my time. This was far from the best. I feel perhaps this place has been hyped up a bit and that is the cause for my dissapointment. They also messed up my burger which does not help, but frankly it just wasnt impressive. The staff was friendly, but our burgers were cooked medium rare and took 30 minutes. What is wrong with this picture? The fries were homemade and pretty good so nothing negative to say there. Also if you go for lunch and do not have reservations you will be stuck ouside on the fake patio in direct sunlight since they cannot seem to afford more umbrellas.... Overall this place was alright but for 588 crowns and the 4/5 star reviews this place had, I was expecting an awesome burger, and I did not get it. Will not be coming back here.
google avatar

Yelp
Serves up an interesting variety of burgers. Patties are freshly made. Cooked medium to medium-rare! Be prepared that these burgers are pretty large. Bistro fries were delicious- perfectly seasoned. 10/100

Yelp
Well what can I say, Dish lives up to the hype. Service and Atmosphere: Reservations are a must. The atmosphere feels very modern rustic, well lit, tables are a good size and I like that they don't cram all the tables so close together. Our server was very friendly! I really liked the service, I was never looking around for the waiter and yet he never hovered. Also for being named best burger in Prague, they aren't pretentious at all. Food: I had the Koza Nostra burger, fries and honey mustard coleslaw. Burger: The burger was great! I couldn't find anything wrong with it. The bun was so soft but really held up to the burger. It was also slightly sweet, it reminded me of a potato roll although it is a brioche. My burger came with goat cheese, fig mayo, arugula, and sun dried tomatoes. This burger really hit the spot for me because all those flavors perfectly worked together. Nothing was overbearing, it all really complemented each other. Also the proportions were just right! I think that's what really sold it for me. The patty itself was tender, pink in the middle, damn tasty. It wasn't the juiciest burger I've had and I definitely understand other peoples complaints about a lack of crispy sear. For me, I liked that this burger was juicy but not overly so because I just don't love it when you're halfway through your burger and the bun is barely holding everything up because it's soaked and everything is dripping everywhere. Don't get me wrong, there was still a sexy messiness to this burger and toward the end it was oozing out on my plate. But the burger wasn't greasy at all! Somehow it felt healthy, yet completely sinfully satisfying. Fries: I tried the "fitness fries" which are their special maple syrup and bacon fries. Personally I wasn't impressed. The syrup tasted too sweet and the bacon wasn't salty or fatty enough to stand up to it. The bacon bits were too small. Also I prefer bacon crumbles to little perfect cubes of diced bacon. That disappointment aside, the regular fries and the ones with garlic and parsley were phenomenal! Great texture, perfectly greasy, a bit soft here, a bit of a crunch there. The density of the potato was on point. Coleslaw: the honey mustard slaw was tasty but nothing to really write home about. I liked that the cabbage was cut into squares rather than shredded, the cabbage seemed a bit more crisp that way. Price: Burgers run around 200kc, not including fries. My glass of wine was delicious at 85 kc. Overall I had high hopes for this place and my expectations were met. I liked this place more than I thought I would because of the genuine service. Next time I'd love to try their homemade ice cream.

Yelp
Had the Piri Piri burger, a couple of beers, some fries, the chocolate cake and an espresso. The burger was really good. The host, who took my order, didn't take a temp, but it came out a nice medium. The Spanish sheep's cheese was very good semi-melted on the burger, and the piri piri sauce was delicious. The bun was excellent, really a brioche. I thought the fries were good as well, not too greasy and they were salted properly. The chocolate cake with salted caramel ice cream was also good, not spectacular, but good - it had a slightly springy quality, perhaps more like injera or a crepe (but a really thick one!) - I think this a style of cake common to Prague? I liked the beer as well, straight-forward Czech light beer. I couldn't get a reservation online before I went, so I just showed up, and they seated me at a seat by the bar. It's not very big, so the best idea is to plan ahead a little and reserve a spot on their webpage. When I went at around 4:45 it wasn't that busy, but as a solo diner I could understand why they didn't want me to use an entire table. The host and the solo waitress spoke enough English to get by, even to help some Estonians near me who spoke no Czech or German. There were moments of awkwardness, but the staff was generally friendly.

Yelp
This place is amazing!!! A must eat in Prague. We had a group of 4 and the entire experience was 5 star. The staff super nice and helpful. The burgers were soooooooooooo good all 4 people had different burgers and it was all good.
google avatar

Yelp
What a great start to our trip in Prague. The hotel recommended this place and it did not disappoint! We grabbed two burgers and one serve of fries and could barely finish the amazingness that was in front of us. The beef patties were juicy and the fries crunchy - just the way you want a burger and fries combo!
google avatar

Holly P.

Yelp
Great burger! The smokey burger with BBQ sauce is my go to. I have tried other burger spots in Prague and this is my favorite. Grab a burger, a beer and split a side of fries with someone and it's the perfect meal. Relatively inexpensive too and they did their best to speak English!
google avatar

Emily S.

Yelp
The best burger I've had so far in Prague and same goes to the fries. However, I think it was a little pricy for it. The prices are almost American prices. I came on a weekday evening and was told I would have to wait 30 min for a burger but it turned out to only be a 15 min wait. The only weird thing is that once you walk into the restaurant, you will have to wait a good 3 min before anyone acknowledges you. The server will see you than ignore you while she does some stuff before she finally says something. I witnessed this happen twice and this may be the norm here but it sure is awkward when you first walk in and absolutely have no idea what you're supposed to do (seat yourself? Wait to be seated?) the answer is wait to be seated.
google avatar

Summer D.

Yelp
Burgers that melt in your mouth and have so much flavor! It reminds me of home and that is saying something! They have great fries as well and wide range of sauces to choose from. Definitely come here it is worth it!
google avatar

Yelp
My girlfriend and I came here one night at 9:45 pm. They are supposed to close at 10 pm. One of the servers was sitting outside and told us not to go in. Even though the restaurant was full and the chefs were still cooking. We asked if we could take-out, but she told us that they 'literally just served the last customer 1 second ago'...which we thought was rude. We returned the following night, because it was recommended to us by our airbnb host. We ordered the Smokey Dish burger, Chili Shack burger, and a side of fries. Personally I thought the meat had a weird taste to it (can't really put my finger on what it was) but my girlfriend enjoyed the Dish burger. It also really rattled us that we had to pay for a side of ketchup with our fries...pretty ridiculous if you ask me.
google avatar

Bethany A.

Yelp
Dropped by today with a friend because we read that this place has the best burgers in Prague - and it definitely didn't disappoint. We came at a weird time (probably around 2:30 pm or so) and snagged a table for about an hour. Definitely make reservations if you're planning to come during real mealtimes! I tried the Savory burger with parmesan crisps, a portobello mushroom and baked tomatoes and it was very flavorful and very good. I was especially impressed with the bun -- held up nicely even with all the ingredients! The only thing -- I wish they had cooked the burger medium rare instead of medium well, but even then, it wasn't dry at all. The parsley and garlic fries were delicious as well! We'll be back to try the seasonal Smoky Dish!

Joseph D.

Yelp
I passed by a couple other burger places because of the reviews of this place. It did not disappoint! They were packed on a Sunday night, but had an open spot at the small bar in front. Server was great! Ordered a burger, fries and a drink. The food was ready in no time, prepared fresh right in front of you! This place cranks them out! A steady walk in and carry orders came in while I was there. I remarked to the waiter how good it was and that I would be back! He went the extra mile and made a reservation for me so I could 'enjoy' my next burger there!
google avatar

Tracey L.

Yelp
Not traditional Czech fare. But a Really yummy burger none the less. It was great to be around the locals and a better burger then I have had in the states. We ordered maple bacon fries. Not on the menu, but a must. And the aioli with garlic parsley fries. Gin and cranberry tonic was really good. Only negative was the waitress was not happy when we ordered tap water for the kids.
google avatar

Hannah P.

Yelp
This is not just the best burger in Prague. It's the best burger in all of Europe. Everything you want in a burger is met here. I don't eat a lot of meat. But when I do, I want a delicious burger. And this is it. They could improve their beer list. But this place is a MUST. Also make a reservation beforehand.
google avatar

Emma G.

Yelp
Awesome burgers and gin and tonics!! The gin and tonic menu is extensive and they are really unique and good. The burgers are so good and outdoor seating is really nice. The indoor seating is a bit smaller but service is quick and they are very accommodating. Located outside of the city center but in a great area, worth the trip out to Prague 2 to try Dish!
google avatar

Kat S.

Yelp
Hands down the best burger I've ever had. I don't live here but have visited Prague 5+ times and I always have to get a Dish burger.
google avatar

Joshua T.

Yelp
Wasn't sure if Prague would have good burgers but I was surprised to find that they are just as good as they are in the states. I actually prefer the burgers here then in many places in Los Angeles. Got the original Dish burger medium rare with thick cut fries and mayo on the side. It was delicious. The burger was light and not greasy even though it was large. Really good quality beef and veggies. Must try this place if you are in Prague.
google avatar

Yelp
Quaint little bistro off the beaten path. Burger with goat cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, and fig mayonnaise was fantastic. Hand-made burgers were juicy and fresh. Bistro fries only made the burger better. Great selection for a bistro type atmosphere. Service was exceptional. Waiter was very attentive to our needs which is usual for European cuisine. Opt to sit outside if tables are available. Much cooler than sitting inside. Great if you like to people watch. Bistro offers three draft beers, wide array of non-alcoholic beverages, and cola to accompany your meal selection. I suggest you try the local beer. You will not be disappointed. Dish Fine Burger Bistro is locally suggested by many. Especially hotel staff where we were staying. Prices were phenomenal, just like the meal. You will surely be pleased.

Stephanie M.

Yelp
After three weeks in Europe, I was really missing just a piece of the US, especially a good burger. Dish fully completed the craving. I had the Dish signature burger and my only complaint was that I should have gotten the ketchup on the side because there was just a little too much on it. However, my friend got the burger with Chimichurri and it was delicious. We both ordered garlic fries with aioli sauce (probably the best part of the meal). I don't know if it tasted better just because I had been craving a burger or if it was actually that good but I was still satisfied. Now, I wouldn't say it's the best burger I've ever had, but it did the job and within context it was great. Another plus is that the drink menu was inexpensive and the waitress was really friendly, polite and spoke clear english!
google avatar

Dan W.

Yelp
Awesome burger! Wish I could get these back home! Decent selection of beers as well. If you're a tourist, and miss a taste of home come here!
google avatar

Yelp
I was dying for a good burger in Prague. If this ended up being the only restaurant I went to, I would have said that it was mediocre, however, after trying out a few different places, I concluded that it was bad. The quality of meat, bread, and ingredients was just subpar considering it was also the most expensive. Maybe I had a bad experience, because everyone else there (both on the cool deck outside and inside) seemed to be enjoying themselves, but I can't help but wonder if Prague is just not a good city to get a burger in.

Juraj P.

Yelp
My favorite burger place ! Staff is always very helpful and every single burger from menu is amazing. Advice : get the "Fitness fries" they are amazing
google avatar

James P. B.

Yelp
The burger I had was fantastic. I came maybe 30 minutes before closing so there were only a few other people there. The gin and tonic and bistro fries I had were also very nice.
google avatar

Brian H.

Yelp
Quite a small place but that can be the case in Prague. Burgers were generous 150g of beef cooked medium without asking. Prepared well. I had the Mnichov burger and my wife had the Dish burger. We ordered a Coke and a beer and a side of Bistro fries. All done well but nothing outstanding. Decor was mediocre.
google avatar

Zach M.

Yelp
Holy smokes this place is good. Booked a reservation for our first night in Prague and it was a great decision. My wife and I got the smokey dish and a goat cheese/fig burger. They were both outstanding. The meat was a little leaner than most US burgers balanced out with amazing sauce/cheese/toppings. Paired with beers, fries and a tip for 660 crowns/$26 USD for 2 of us. Definitely make a reservation despite being a casual place.
google avatar

Anton G.

Yelp
I tried to get seated here. For five minutes, I stood at the entrance. I was well-dressed and well-groomed. The wait staff would not look at or acknowledge me. I am a person of color but I don't know if that has anything to do with it. I have been received warmly by all other establishments I frequented here in Prague over the last four days. But there is a strange vibe here. I left and took my patronage elsewhere. I hope you don't have the same experience.
google avatar

Zuzana F.

Yelp
Wonderful place to eat! Service is so sweet there and food outstanding. The place is tiny though so over the lunch time it tends to get a little crowded, make sure to make a reservation if you want to be sure you will get a spot. I'm gluten-free so I only got sweet potato fries and green slaw. But I was offered bun-less version of any burger I choose. Make sure to try the smoked peppers mayo!!
google avatar

Kaculka C.

Yelp
Dish, the tavern and cafe palanda are one of the best places for burgers in Prague. Actually the might be more. Those are these I have tried. Great burgers, home made fries and reasonable prices.
google avatar

Diane J.

Yelp
Omg these burgers are delicious. I had the Dish burger and it was so flavorful and juicy. This is definitely the best burger I've had in a while and I'm from New York, so that's saying a lot. Highly recommend this place if the authentic cuisine here in Prague isn't your speed. Keep in mind there is a charge for condiments (ketchup, chipotle, etc.)
google avatar

Robert S.

Yelp
The burgers are amazing, believe the hype...fries are good to. Be prepared to have a reservation though. We had to wait a full day to get in here. But oh, was it worth the wait
google avatar

Taylor C.

Yelp
We were really lucky to find this spot after arriving in Prague just an hour before. There weren't any tables available but we were perfectly happy to sit at the bar and watch the workers prepare our meal. In particular, we were intrigued by the "fitness" fries (with maple syrup and bacon bits) which we had to try and mutually enjoyed. It is definitely one of the best places to dine if you're craving burgers-- and we feel very strongly about this as Americans. :-)
google avatar

Stephanie S.

Yelp
They do burgers right at Dish! One of the best burgers I've ever had! Pair it with some bistro fries and garlic aioli and you are set! The inside features black and white 1950s photos and they have outdoor seating as well. I'm withholding the 5th star because one of the waitresses was so visibly annoyed the whole night that it made you almost uncomfortable, like you were putting her out. Food alone though deserves 5 stars.
google avatar

Sören J.

Yelp
When I went there with my girlfriend, the place was packed, but the owner was nice enough to let us sit at the bar. Very friendly staff and the veggie burger was great! Their homemade pesto on the veggie burger was delicious. Prices are very reasonable as well, a perfect place for a good burger!
