The best of all Disney Parks! Well run, exceptionally clean despite the thousands of daily visitors. Awesome rides and lunch at Rainforest Cafe was delicious! Guaranteed great family time!

Love animal kingdom. It's my favorite park

This is not Animal Kingdom. Because of this pin I lost 20 minutes of driving to the wrong place then needing to drive to the real animal kingdom

It's absolutely fine, even if you're old age 😎

HERMOSO LUGAR LA CALIDAD DE ANIMAL KINGDOM ES IMPRESIONANTE NO SOLO POR SU DIVERSA VARIEDAD DE ANIMALES, SI NO COMO ESTA HECHO SU HABITA PARA CADA UNO DE ELLOS CON LAGUNAS, MUCHOS ARBOLES, ES INCREÍBLE COMO ESTA HECHO EL PARQUE

Yelp
Animal Kingdom will always be my favorite park. The scenery alone is calming to walk through without doing any of the activities. My husband and I spent a lot of our Animal Kingdom morning in Pandora which does a great job at being immersive and gets you to forget you're in Florida! We then made sure to ride the Dinosaur ride one last time before it gets re-themed. Be aware that Animal Kingdom tends to run a little more humid than the other parks due to all the nature and foliage. We only spent the morning at this park and left at lunch time feeling accomplished! We opted for a slower visit and really just enjoyed walking around taking in all the sights and animals. Adults - make sure you stop by Nomad Lounge for a cocktail/mocktail on the patio along the river!

Yelp
This park had the best customer service between the MK and HS our visit. Get to the Avatar ride asap when the doors open.

Yelp
A zoo with Disney attention to detail. I've been to this park many times, and most recently took my kids there for the first time. My kids like all animals and zoos, and we had fun. We hit the safari ride first, which was incredible as usual, and all 3 live shows we attended were really great also (Feathered flight, Finding Nemo, and Festival of the Lion King). The landscaping is beautiful and shady, there are random animal exhibits here and there, and we enjoyed the live musicians around the park (sitar player, African drumming, and more). The park closes down mostly around 5pm as all the animals go in for the night, but it's nice to be able to see animals in a self guided way in between waiting in lines and sitting down for shows. My kids loved the wilderness explorers program, although getting the badges and listening to the presentations took quite a bit of time. The info is a little stale/basic, and at some point, I stopped pointing out any stations knowing this would pause our journey to our next destination. The bug's life show was pretty scary for my kids and they had to take off the 3-D glasses, but there was ample warnings about this. We didn't ride any rides, but we probably would have tried some if the waits were shorter. Pandora was strange. My kids loved the playground at Dino Land, but I found it unsettling. Playgrounds demand freedom to run and jump and play while parents watch from the sidelines, but the setup is not designed for this. There is very little seating for parents so they can watch their kids, and where there is seating, you can't see the whole area. This playground also has a bridge to a completely separate area with a sand pit, and I felt uneasy that my kids could be in this far away place without me even knowing. Also I don't need to pay for a sand pit. I feel this area could use some more magic, creativity, and forethought. We saw so many animals, rarely waited in line, and walked a ton. Success!

Yelp
Such a neat and beautiful theme park! As an Omaha native, it like our Zoo on steroids! So. much greenery and water features. The rights are awesome! Everest is actually the neatest, most thrilling ride of my life! The water ride, I can't remember the name, but its similar to white water rafting, also thrilling.

Yelp
I've never been to Animal Kingdom before today but I'm glad I came. Awesome vibe here. There are rides and live animals scattered through out the park. The scenery is amazing as there's a life size tree of life, I believe from Avatar. A few of the rides here are pretty popular and the lines can be busy. Next time around I want to try the other experiences here like the safari and night safari. Like most of the parks there's a different vibe and feel at night and this park is no exception.

Yelp
I haven't been here since I was a little kid! Not much has changed. I went on the safari tour, it was exciting to see all the African Animals. It's a staple of an Animal Kingdom visit for all ages! The most thrilling ride at this park is Expedition Everest. It's an adrenaline rush for sure!! I'll definitely be back!

Yelp
Our visit was on a very cold, rainy January day. We got there upon opening and parked in Preferred parking because we were only staying for half a day and wanted quicker access to our car. The imagination and creativity of all the Disney parks is so appreciated. While I've visited the park in the past, this was my first time seeing Pandora. Amazing how you can be transported into a completely different place. The Avatar ride was amazing. Totally felt like I was riding a Banshee. Our safari was full of animal sightings. The range animals were out in full force with zebra crossing right in front of our jeep. Super close up's of them. It was too cold for lions, apes, and monkeys. It was cold. I can see why they said 'hell no'. We also checked out the bird show. We love the bird show at our MN zoo so it was fun to see many different birds in this show. Well worth 30 minutes to sit under a protective roof.

Yelp
This was my first time here, and such a surreal experience! The entire park was breathtaking, especially the scenery and animals we got to see on the Safari. Being from Omaha, Nebraska, this very much reminded me of the life like jungle at the Henry Dorley zoo-- perfectly resembling a rainforest or real jungle. All the food we ate here was delicious, I was especially impressed with the coconut cream coffee, which I didn't think I would enjoy, but it was delicious! My group only stayed for half a day, but in that time we were able to ride a couple rides, shop around, walk-through most of the park, and had a great time. This park is definitely geared more towards kids, but I'm glad that I came . A half-day was the perfect amount of time for me and my friends!

Yelp
I love Animal Kingdom! We went this weekend to see the new baby tiger! The line gets pretty crazy, but we got there early. The cast members were so nice and excited to talk about the tigers. They managed the crowd really well so everyone got a turn. We were super lucky to see mom and baby! After our tiger time, we got birria nachos and Island Sunrise cocktails. We loved walking around and seeing all the animals. The park food is really unique and good. Don't sleep on one of the most underrated Disney parks!

Yelp
Disney's Animal Kingdom is a spectacular blend of wildlife, adventure, and Disney magic. It's a must-visit for animal lovers, and my recent experience here was nothing short of 5 stars. The park's dedication to wildlife conservation and education is evident in every detail. offering an up-close encounter with majestic animals like elephants, giraffes, zebras, and rhinos in their naturalistic habitats. Watching giraffes gracefully roam and elephants interact with their herd was an unforgettable experience. The park is also home to playful monkeys, exotic birds, and many other fascinating creatures. The Jungle Trek provide incredible opportunities to observe animals in lush, beautifully designed environments. Beyond the animals, the park's attractions like Expedition Everest and Pandora - The World of Avatar are thrilling and immersive. The food options were impressive, with delicious vegetarian dishes available atCanteen and other spots. Animal Kingdom combines entertainment with meaningful connections to nature, creating a one-of-a-kind experience. The park is immaculately clean, the staff is friendly, and every corner is filled with wonder. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a magical day surrounded by the beauty of wildlife.

Yelp
I absolutely love Disney's Animal Kingdom. I actually prefer coming here over Magic Kingdom. I love seeing the animals, and the layout of the park is just so nice. The Tree of life is exquisite. It just feels like you're in another world. I have to also mention the avatar rides. They are amazing. I will say they do come with a good wait time, but we were able to schedule ride times using Genie Plus. Na'vi River Journey ride is such a nice boat ride, but the Avatar Flight of passage had to me be my favorite. Also, the safari ride is excellent.

Yelp
My wife and I brought our 2 year old here as part of her first trip to Disney. This was also my first time going to the Animal Kingdom park and It did not disappoint. The cast members (employees) that we interacted with were all friendly and polite. The park was also very clean! They have a variety of different foods in the different areas of the park. Which are divided into different themes. The attention to detail on all the different themes is amazing. In addition to some good rides at the park, we got to see some animals that were actually up and moving around, unlike the ones you would see at a majority of zoos around the country. I really enjoyed the Safari because we got to see a wide variety of animals roaming freely within the safari area. A few notable animals were, white rhinos, cheetahs, giraffes. They also had some animals that were kept in enclosures that you would pass by during the safari. This was my first time seeing rhinos and hippos in person. The cast members were also very knowledgable. We will definitely visit this park again because we did not have time to get everything done. Be sure to plan out a day at the park in advance.

Yelp
What a beautiful park! Disney's Animal Kingdom is a must see educational experience for the young and old! There are a lot of great animal exhibitions for introduction to the Animal Kingdom. Plan your adventure! There are also a variety of rides suitable for each generation. But the main attractions are the Animals. This is not your typical Zoo!

Yelp
My visit to Disney's Animal Kingdom was absolutely incredible! This park combines the magic of Disney with the beauty of nature, making it a truly one-of-a-kind experience. Highlights from My Visit: 1. Pandora - The World of Avatar: The attention to detail in this area was breathtaking! Flight of Passage was hands-down the most immersive ride I've ever been on--it felt like I was flying through Pandora. The bioluminescent lighting at night made it even more magical. 2. Safari Adventure: The Kilimanjaro Safaris was a standout highlight. Seeing giraffes, lions, and elephants up close in their naturalistic habitats was awe-inspiring. It felt like a real African safari! 3. Nature Trails: Exploring the park's trails, like the Maharajah Jungle Trek, was a peaceful way to see exotic animals and gorgeous scenery. The tiger enclosure was a favorite! 4. Thrilling Rides: Expedition Everest was a perfect mix of thrill and fun. The backward drop and the Yeti encounter had me on the edge of my seat. 5. Entertainment: The live performances were fantastic. Festival of the Lion King was a Broadway-level show, and the drummers in Africa added an energetic vibe to the area. 6. Theming and Atmosphere: The park's attention to detail is phenomenal. From the lush greenery to the cultural elements in Asia and Africa, it felt like stepping into another world. Pro Tips from My Visit: * Arrive early to avoid long lines for popular rides like Flight of Passage. * Take time to explore the animal exhibits--they're just as fascinating as the rides. * Don't miss the Tree of Life at night; the projections are stunning. Animal Kingdom is a perfect blend of adventure, nature, and Disney magic. It's more than just a theme park--it's an experience I'll never forget. Highly recommend for families, thrill-seekers, and animal lovers alike!

Yelp
First time to this theme park (or "Disney Zoo" as our family endearingly called it), and it was INCREDIBLE! We loved everything it had to offer. We went mid week in early September, and the crowd level was extremely tolerable. We entered right when they opened the park and headed to the Kilimanjaro Safari first. The animals were active and plentiful, which made for a fantastic experience. Next, we headed over to the main reason for our visit- PANDORA! As huge fans of the Avatar movies, it was thrilling to be in and experience this world in person. The Na'vi River Journey was enjoyable, and we ended up treating ourselves to a Lighting Lane Pass for Flight of Passage. Despite the additional cost, it proved to be a game-changer and saved us valuable time and allowed us to enjoy more rides and attractions. Pandora was an experience unto itself. Truly breathtaking and the rides are unforgettable. Disney's Animal Kingdom is a beautiful and enjoyable park that I highly recommend visiting.

Yelp
Everything closes early here, so prioritize your day and if you only have one day in AK, get here early! We didn't get to nearly everything we were hoping for and during our the heat was nearly unbearable, but we got through quite a bit. Theming here is top notch, every area is super immersive in a real-life way and there are little details everywhere that make it so unique from other parks. Favorite Attractions: - Kilimanjaro Safaris (get here early, that line looked BRUTAL.) - Festival of the Lion King - Na'vi River Journey - Expedition Everest (my younger son's first "big" roller coaster, he LOVED it!) Okay, but you could skip it: - Kali River Rapids - it's not bad, but wasn't novel enough from other rapids rides that I've been on to justify the amount of time we waited

Yelp
It was our first time visiting this park as a native Floridian. It just wasn't around when we were in grade school. It wasn't even there all through college. We had other opportunities when stationed at two separate Air Force bases in Florida. It just somehow didn't make it to the top of our list of theme parks. But now, we can't wait to go back to Animal Kingdom. Maybe because it's new to us. All I know is that we had a great time. It all starts with the complimentary bus transportation from the resort. It's so convenient, and stress free. It's also an amazing thing to see cast members already out and about before you even enter the gate at opening time. They were greeting everyone in line, and giving out Experience Guides for the day's festivities. The early entry rush was very organized with most people heading over to Pandora land. We were in the smaller crowd heading to Asia with a cast member leading the way. Everything was a piece of cake from that moment on. It just seemed like everything fell into place. We did our thrill rides in the morning (Expedition Everest & Dinosaur). We didn't get to ride Avatar Flight of Passage, but it will be the first on our list next time. There were many trails and animal experiences in between that made it all so enjoyable. We didn't feel rushed to get on any rides or shows, and it wasn't too crowded during our weekday visit. It was a chilly morning after a cold front. We didn't have to deal with rain or heat. It was a perfect day! We had lunch at the Yak & Yeti Restaurant in Asia. It was tasty! There's a quick service part of that restaurant called Local Foods Café. It's next door to it, but has different (some similar) menu items. Don't confuse the two. The restaurant is way better. There are many food options to enjoy around the park (and not just Asian). We didn't get to do everything in one day, but it can be done. We definitely want to go back to see all the trails on Discovery Island. I think Rafiki's Planet Watch and the Feathered Friends in Flight show is something we need to do next time. I feel like we did see part of the show while walking around. There are these very large and colorful parrots that fly right past you in the park at all different times of the day. We also saw them fly by the window at Yak & Yeti as we were eating lunch. I'm pretty sure that they are feathered friends heading towards the stage. We also saw and heard the Discovery Island Drummers as they were floating down the river. It's all so fun! There's never a dull moment at Animal Kingdom.

Yelp
Animal Kingdom is absolutely awesome -- it has a great mix of having appeal to kids, but also a very chill atmosphere for adults. There are plenty of eclectic food and beverage choices, and the Lion King show is a must see. The standout thrill rides are Flight of Passage and Expedition Everest. My favorite thing is seeing Pandora (the land of Avatar) at night, as the whole area glows. It's super cool to see, but hard to come by as the park generally closes before sunset. Overall this is a great park for the family!

Yelp
The lushness of this park is a refreshing constraint to the Florida sun and heat. So much shade from all the trees and greenery. Every inch is something else beautiful to see from ponds to all kinds of animals to little waterfalls. Some of the best aspects are just walking around and taking in all the scenery. We also loved the safari tour especially in the morning. The dinosaur ride was fun and just the right level of almost every for me without being close to a rollercoaster. The lion king show and the birds shows are both well worth the time. My niece's favorite ride in all of Disney is the avatar ride but my husband and I hated it. It's all 3D which my eyes don't see as anything but double. It's also terrible for anyone who gets motion sickness or who hates heights. I closed my eyes and breathed myself through the 4.5 mins. But if you love 3D and heights, it's a good ride for you. More than the rides of this park, I loved the walk throughs and shows.

Yelp
Enjoyed our visit! It was a busy day but there were good places to see animals and rest in shaded areas. The classic and new rides were great. I love that they have so much to see and do.
google avatar

Kristen W.

Yelp
We lucked out and went on a rare slow weekend to Disney and were able to really enjoy a lot of the park including animals and rides! We still didn't make it to everything but we weren't rushing and we did stop for sit down lunch at Yak and Yeti (which was excellent). Our favs were Avatar, the safari and the Gorilla trail. We also had fun on Everest and the river rapids. Na'vi was good but we felt was not a must ride for us. Oh and if you like shows Lion King Live was excellent. We definitely enjoyed our visit and would come back again.

Yelp
Still one of my favorite Disney Parks, IN THE WORLD! It's so beautiful and peaceful. MUST go early in the morning and catch a few rides. Though it's one of my favorites at Disney World, I wouldn't plan to spend an entire day here, coming from someone who was going to Disney a couple times a year. I would get here early in the morning when they open so that the lines aren't as brutal, get on a few rides like Expedition Everest (one of my faves!), Kali River Rapids, Flight of Passage, & Navi River Journey. Can definitely get those done in 2 hours time and gives you time to walk around a bit then hop over to another park, probably do a smaller park: Hollywood Studios or Epcot. For sure, spend a whole day at Magic Kingdom!
google avatar

Tamara G.

Yelp
Love Kilamjaro Safari. It's not a ride, you ride inside an actual safari jeep vehicle seeing animals roaming wild, much like an actual safari instead of a zoo. We saw giraffes, elephants, rhinos, wildebeest, wild dogs, crocodiles, zebra. It was truly awesome. Also enjoyed the Gorilla trail & saw several gorillas & a baby. The bird area is cool too. If you like wildlife you'll love it. The only ride I did was the Everest rollercoaster, be prepared for a thrill. Other than that we just enjoy strolling the unique sections of the park feeling like you're in Africa or Asia.
google avatar

Kim S.

Yelp
Animal Kingdom has such great themes, it's really cool to walk around to the different areas . Margaritas were fabulous! I enjoyed the safari I only wish they drove a little slower and gave you time to get better pictures of the animals. We did see giraffes and elephants! The 2 best rides in my opinion are Everest and Avator Flight of Passage. If you can grab a reservation at Yak and Yeti you'll have a fabulous meal!
google avatar

Sara B.

Yelp
Unpopular (or popular?) opinion - Animal Kingdom is the best Disney Park. It's just so gorgeous and so well done. I seriously felt like I was transported into a magical safari land. Speaking of safari - the safari ride is a must do. It's around 45 minutes and you get to see so many animals. Pro-tip is to do it early when the animals are awake, and to use Genie+. We also loved the character dining here. The food at Tusker House was incredible. We did not expect such quality food at an amusement park. And then speaking of food, we were blown away by the selection of food and drinks. You cannot walk more than a few feet without finding a place to grab an adult beverage, and they had so many amazing fast casual lunch options like BBQ, tacos, etc. There aren't a ton of rides for littles, but between the shows and attractions there is plenty to do. We loved the Nemo show, the gorillas, the carnival / arcade area and dinoland. In all honesty, we might've even enjoyed this experience more than Magic Kingdom!

Yelp
I have a deep love for animals, and it truly saddens me to see them in captivity. However, I understand that not everyone has the opportunity to travel and experience these incredible creatures in their natural habitats. I genuinely hope that Disney ensures they are well cared for. I cherish the park and its attractions, and I hope to visit again soon. Until then, take care!--TTFN!!

PackUpNGoNow L.

Yelp
ADD A STAGE SHOW TO YOUR TO-DO LIST AT ANIMAL KINGDOM Try to see one of the live stage shows during your visit to Animal Kingdom. Choose from two fun shows: Finding Nemo: The Big Blue ... and Beyond or Festival of the Lion King (check showtimes schedule). Finding Nemo is a magical musical retelling of the movie. Actors portray Nemo and his friends with body puppets. Children who have seen the movie may recognize their favorite characters and scenes from the movie and everyone will enjoy the artistry of the puppeteers. Festival of the Lion King is a tribute to the movie's greatest hits. It is not a retelling of the movie's story. Songs are matched with unique acts - a dramatic fire dance accompanies a performance of Scar's Be Prepared. A ballet and aerial dance is performed to the song Can You Feel the Love Tonight. Children expecting to see the Lion King story and young Simba might be disappointed. But with the fire dance, flying acrobats and aerial dancing, this show might wow them as a mini circus.

Yelp
I recently visited Disney's Animal Kingdom solo, and it was an incredible experience! If you're considering a solo trip, I highly recommend it. The park's atmosphere is immersive, with lush greenery and detailed theming that makes every area feel like an adventure. Exploring at my own pace allowed me to soak in the small details, take pictures without feeling rushed, and really enjoy the unique offerings the park provides. Pandora was hands down the highlight of my day. From the moment you step in, it feels like you've been transported to another planet. Flight of Passage is everything people say and more--it's exhilarating, immersive, and incredibly beautiful. The 3D visuals and the sensation of flying on a banshee are unforgettable. I rode it twice, thanks to shorter wait times early in the day. I also really enjoyed Na'vi River Journey--the serene vibe was a perfect contrast to Flight of Passage. One of my favs, DINOSAUR, was a blast--it's part dark ride, part thrill ride, with just the right amount of intensity. The retro vibes of the whole land added to the charm. I understand that Disney plans to reimagine this ride soon, so I took several trips in the event it was my last time. I also loved exploring the kitschy carnival-style games between rides. It's an excellent area for nostalgia and fun, even as an adult. Expedition Everest is the perfect mix of thrills and storytelling. The theming in the queue is so detailed, and the ride itself is pure excitement, with the backward drop and the surprise encounter with the Yeti. Riding it solo felt like a personal adventure, and with early hours, I was able to ride multiple times. I managed to squeeze in a few extra rides without a long wait. One of the best parts of traveling solo was the flexibility--taking my time to explore the animal exhibits, enjoying spontaneous snacks (the Pongu Lumpia in Pandora is a must-try!), and getting on rides quickly through single-rider lines. I also found the cast members to be extra friendly, which made the solo experience even better. Pandora, DinoLand U.S.A., and Expedition Everest definitely stood out to me, and the freedom of a solo trip made everything even more enjoyable. If you're a fan of adventure, animals, and detailed theming, a solo trip to Animal Kingdom should be on your list!

Yelp
Was just here yesterday and I'm going to miss "It's Tough to be a bug" loved it so much!! My friends and I found a few hidden Mickey's we had never seen before. Hung out with some D3 Day Drinkers club members. Drank, danced, ride 2 rides, ate at Yak & Yeti. Life is good at AK!
google avatar

Ange R.

Yelp
My favorite Disney park! My tips: Expedition Everest is my favorite ride! The best rollercoaster. Do the safari ride early so you can see the animals when it's not so hot. The Nomad restaurant is probably the best in the park. Good prices, good food, and a nice place to relax from all the walking! Go to the Lion King show. Amazing! Bring a water bottle, there are refill stations at the park.

Yelp
We had a great day at the park. The tree covered walkways are wonderful. We had lightening passes which really helped us to visit everything we wanted to see. Definitely felt that was work the money! We stopped for breakfast at one of the kiosks and had a delicious meal. I ordered a breakfast bowl with bacon and loved getting some protein in for a long day!

Yelp
It was my first visit to Disney World in December and I was excited to see Animal Kingdom. It was our 3rd park of the trip and my feet already had blisters at this point haha! I love how it legit feels like you're in Africa inside the park. I love all the exotic trees, plants and animals that you get to see. My favorite ride in all of Disney World is Avatar Flight of Passage! It was so awesome and definitely unique! Make sure you don't miss that! The safari ride was the highlight of the day. It's unlike anything I've ever been on. It was so cool to see animals that close up. Food Highlights Include: Stuffed Pancake Sandwich w/ sausage, guava jelly, eggs and cheese at Pongu Pongu Tropical Shaved Ice at Caravan Road Mickey Ice Cream Mac & Cheese w/pulled pork Also, don't miss the Festival of the Lion King show, it's pretty much like a Cirque du Soleil performance.

Yelp
3 Stars not because it sucked but because you can knocked this park out quickly early in the morning and be done by lunch time .... IF you use your time wisely The genie would be a good purchase here and then throughout the other parks, there's just a few rides here but those few can take precious time up! If you're here for the shows and animals, well that's another review! Park at Magic Kingdom take the Monorail over to Animal Kingdom (it's faster than the bus) then you can work your way back to the car. The Tree of Life was my favorite, it's the tree in the center of the park. Theres a theater down in the roots of the tree. The show is based on "A Bugs Life" but the walkway down to the theater is amazing!! The queue line for this entrance is beautiful! I wasn't impressed with the margaritas or the food. I would definitely save my appetite for somewhere else and maybe just grab a snack or bring a snack in case you get hungry or snackish! ;) Thank you for reading and enjoy your trip!!!

Yelp
I came here once as a kid. Returning as an adult, and I was astonished by how cool Pandora was! Both rides there were amazing. We got there for rope drop and went straight for Flight of Paradise, and when we got there it was an hour wait. Definitely worth the hour wait. We went to Na'vi River Journey right after and only had a 25min wait. The animatronic in Na'vi River Journey was the best one I've seen yet in all Disney parks!! After Pandora we went on the Safari and got extremely lucky to see so many of the animals there, including an adorable baby elephant! The only complaint I had was that the Pandora specialty drink (layers of apple and desert pear limeade with boba) was not good. It was overly sweet, and they didn't say the boba was popping boba, which I don't really like. They should update their signs to say that.

Yelp
We had a great time at AK! It is definitely not an all day park for the length of time that they're open. You can easily finish this ride from 8am open to about 3pm. Lots of good food options. Fun time. Very quick and easy trip!
google avatar

Cristin G.

Yelp
My first time here and it was incredible! Seeing Russell and Kevin from Up was #1 on my list and we saw them both within the first 10 minutes. Pandora was absolutely beautiful, but unfortunately the park closes too early to see the bioluminescent pathways light up. There was an abundance of food choices and specialty drinks for any palette so don't worry about not being able to find something to eat. Make sure you go on the safari ride and the bug ride, those were my favorites!

Yelp
Animal Kingdom is the largest of the four theme parks at Disney World; in fact, it's the largest theme park in the world at 580 acres. One of its goals is the conservation of animals and preserving the environment. One of my favorite parts of the park is the Kilimanjaro Safari where you can get in a truck and see a variety of animals. One of my favorite rides was Avatar Flight of Passage which is one of the most popular rides in the park. We only spent half a day here but we felt like it was enough to see everything we wanted to see and ride most of the rides. This park is definitely one for animal lovers and you can spend a lot of time checking them out.
google avatar

Yelp
I absolutely LOVE Animal Kingdom. Workers are very compassionate towards visitors and passionate about their jobs, especially the people in shows. You can tell they actually want to be there. The food is no less than amazing. But my dad lost his voice on the Everest Rollercoaster though, lol. But there were times where the app wouldn't work whenever we tried to get into virtual queues for rides. But the people at Guest Services were so kind and willing to help. Other than Magic Kingdom and EPCOT, this is one of my favorite parks. Also, shout outs to Andrew on the tram. Get that man in a choir!!

Yelp
This is another must see at Disney that somehow combines a wild animal park type of safari experience with stuff from Avatar (a ride you should experience). Great detail, great experiences abound. Can be a learning experience as you explore nature's flora and fauna. Did subtract a star because of the high cost of park tickets plus Lightning that you really do need if you want to get through the park without standing in line excessively.

Yelp
Animal Kingdom is such a wonderful park! This was the last Disney World park that we hadn't been to together and we were excited to finally visit it. The park opens and closes earlier than the other parks because of the animals, so we got in early and were able to go on the safari early before it got too hot. Corra, the new baby elephant, was on the tour and she was just the cutest little elephant. The safari was great overall and it was so nice to see all of the animals. The rides are also very fun and we really enjoyed Expedition Everest and the Avatar Flight of Passage in particular. The animal treks were lovely and it was a nice change of pace to basically casually stroll through a zoo versus running from ride to ride. Food and drinks at Animal Kingdom are fantastic and we loved the watermelon lemonade and mango-passioonfruit cheesecake at Harambe Market, Rum Blossom cocktail and Mo'ara margarita at Pongu Pongu, Prickly pear margarita at Dawa Bar, and everything at Tiffins. Animal Kingdom is a great hybrid of amusement park and zoo and it's one we will definitely visit again!

Yelp
Very fun park and love seeing all the animals!! Definitely need to come back and see them again. Very fun park so lots of long lines but it's pretty fast to walk around!! Most of the time will be waiting in line to get on a ride. Closes pretty early as well as the food areas so make sure to keep track of time!! No fireworks here but they do have a some kind of screening on the big tree at the end of the night!!

Yelp
The park was very nice and clean and the rides the pretty fun. Wait times are long for some and short for others. One of the rides I rode was 45 minutes and another one was 10 minutes. There was a lot of food stands and a lot of areas to explore. We came at around 8 or 9 am so we had enough time to explore all of the areas. Overall highly recommend

Yelp
The Nature Park!! This park is so beautiful and tranquil. There's soooooo much green and lush nature everywhere! It's a great way to just reconnect. The tree of life is massive and truly breathtaking!! And don't get me started on Pandora! Oh my gosh, the nature and views were just incredible at this park! They have the safari to see the animals too. I feel like this park is centered around connecting with the land; nature and animals. I loved the experience I had here.

Yelp
I have been coming to Disney each year for my birthday trying each park. I really think it takes 2 days to get through each park but we do it in one. I really love animals so I was excited to see them. We went on the Safari Ride and of course waited in line like everyone else. I was disappointed that the ride went so fast. The driver really didn't slow down at all for us to take pictures. The road was very bumpy so the pics I did get were a bit fuzzy. I understand there are lines of ppl waiting but she went so fast she caught up to the two vehicles ahead of us and then we were waiting looking at nothing. For the price of the tickets of our family I really do wish the experience would have been better. For me it was the only real ride I went on. The kids did stand in line for 1.5 hrs for another ride and that was all we fit it. We used the app and ordered ahead and got rice bowls at a decent price so that was a win. We did look at the buffet but that was about $60/person and didn't seem worth it. Glad we came in Jan when the weather was cooler and it wasn't so busy. "The Magic" is at the Disney Magic Kingdom Park where the fireworks and parades are so much fun. That I missed here at the Animal park.

Yelp
Four stars seems right. I know a lot of people absolutely love this park because it's different. Yes, it's different because it has a lot of foliage and animals. But for rides, this park is extremely lacking. There are very few rides. You are also going to be walking a lot here. The park is really spread out. The park also has some special restaurants that you need to reserve far in advance. We only ate from some of the regular food spots and the quality was far above average for a theme park. As for the rides: The Avatar ride was fine. It's about 4 minutes long. I know lines get very long for this one. Personally, I wouldn't wait for more than about a half hour for this ride. Expedition Everest was terrific. I would probably wait an hour for this ride, if I had to. It's not exactly scary but it hauls ass in terms of speed. It is a highly entertaining ride. Wildlife Express Train is great. Here is where you will see a lot of animals, up close. You need to do this one. Dinosaur was a bumpy mess. I could live without this one. Na'vi River Journey is good if you want to relax and close your eyes for 5 minutes or so. You really won't miss anything. The Lion King show was a lot of fun. I would definitely hit this one up. The Finding Nemo show is relatively short (about 20-25 minutes) but is also well done. It's Tough to Be a Bug show is fun. Some hits, some misses here. It's not my favorite park but it is different.

Yelp
This park was fun but like everyone says it definitely is a half day park. You can finish most of the attractions quickly. The food was great at this park is recommend Kusafiri coffee shop and bakery. There wasn't a whole lot to do at this park thus the three star rating.

Yelp
Didn't care for Yak and Yetti, but the guava Danish was great. The roller coaster wasn't working, but the rides we went on were fun. You see alot of animals on the safari and make sure you get people wet on the rapids ride. Gorillas were good too. About 5 hours of activities only without kids. Stroller hell.

Yelp
Reviewing each park since I had to research a lot before I planned my trip, so I hope this helps others too. I did day 1 Magic Kingdom, day 2 Epcot, day 3 Break/resort day and dinner at Disney Springs, day 4 Animal Kingdom, Day 5 Hollywood Studios. My review of each explains why and I would not recommend park hopper as parks are too far from each other and in my opinion you get the most of each park by being there each day. This is my Animal Kingdom review: Absolutely loved Animal Kingdom. If I were local, that's a place I'd go more regularly. It is just the perfect mix between rides and fresh air with animals around to see. The animals looked very well-cared for so that was pleasant to see. The park isn't too crowded perhaps cause it has plenty of open spaces to walk around. The avatar ride is on this park and it is such a joy, so pretty. It had a super long line though but my favorite. The safari is a must on my list, so pretty and relaxing also. We saw many animals up close in their habitat. Very enjoyable! It is hard not to love a park with nature and animals, add some rides for the family to enjoy, it was a pleasant experience for sure. We ate at the Rainforest Cafe inside the park, and found that to be the best option. Other than that, we had usual park food for snacks like popcorn, ice cream, Pretzels. If you are a foodie Epcot is your park, if you are into the fairy tale stuff more classical Magic Kingdom will be for you but just get ready for the busyness and crowds and know that for the Frozen ride you need to go to Epcot. if you love nature and animals or just need a break from the busy parks, Animal Kingdom will bring you a welcome peaceful yet fun day.

Yelp
Disney's Animal Kingdom, mate, it's like stepping into the wild without leaving the comfort of civilization. Crikey, the landscaping is so spot-on, you'll swear you're deep in the jungle. And let me tell ya, the attention to detail is as sharp as a jaguar's claw. From the rustling leaves to the chirping birds, every inch of this place screams nature. Now, when it comes to realism, Disney's Animal Kingdom takes the cake. You'll see creatures from all corners of the globe, and they ain't just for show, they're living, breathing beings. It's like a safari without the risk of becoming a lion's lunch. So grab your gear, mate, and get ready for an adventure like no other. Some tips Arrive Early: The early bird catches the worm, or in this case, gets to see the animals when they're most active. Head to the park as soon as it opens to beat the crowds and maximize your wildlife sightings. FastPass+ Strategy: Use the FastPass+ system to skip the lines for popular attractions like Avatar Flight of Passage and Expedition Everest. Book your FastPasses in advance for the best selection. Explore Pandora at Night: The bioluminescent beauty of Pandora comes alive after dark. Make sure to stick around and experience the mesmerizing glow of this alien world. Catch the Shows: Don't miss the spectacular shows like Festival of the Lion King and Finding Nemo - The Musical. They're a great way to take a break from walking and be entertained by some top-notch performances. Stay Hydrated: It gets hot out there, especially in the Florida sun. Make sure to drink plenty of water throughout the day to stay hydrated and energized. Wilderness Explorers: If you've got little adventurers with you, sign them up for the Wilderness Explorers program. It's a fun and educational way for kids to learn about the animals and conservation efforts in the park. Dine with a View: Grab a bite to eat at one of the park's restaurants with outdoor seating, like Flame Tree Barbecue or Satu'li Canteen. You'll get to enjoy your meal with a scenic view of the park's lush landscapes. Take Your Time: Don't rush through the park trying to see everything at once. Take your time to soak in the sights, sounds, and smells of the wilderness. After all, it's not just about the attractions, it's about the experience.
