It's always great staying on Disney property if you do not plan on leaving to explore the surrounding area. Surprisingly, the rooms were quiet. I expected to hear a fair amount of foot traffic and talking, but we did not. The amenities are good for the price. There is a nice large pool with activities for kids throughout the day and evening. The food is not bad but limited to select items in a food court style setting. You are not going to get the type of amenities that you would get from a more expensive hotel. This budget friendly hotel. Was perfect for everyone in our 20+ person group on vacation.

This resort was the perfect place to stay before and after our 6-day Disney Cruise. The pools were massive and never felt crowded, and the staff kept the kids entertained with fun poolside activities classic Disney magic that gave us parents some much needed downtime. During our stay, we experienced different rooms in separate buildings, and each one was beautiful. I was genuinely impressed by the design and functionality of the spaces. Walking to the cafeteria was easy, and everything we needed, the main lobby, gift shop, cafeteria, and arcade, was conveniently located in the same central area. While the lobby was smaller than I expected, it was still welcoming and well-organized. One standout moment was when my friend’s luggage was damaged during transit from the Disney Cruise Line shuttle back to the All-Star Music Resort. The resort replaced it with a brand-new suitcase—now that’s top-notch service! Highly recommend this resort—Disney definitely delivered!

For a quick weekend trip where I spent most of my time in the parks, it was a no-brainer to save money and book a value resort. Having previously stayed at the other four value properties, I was eager to give Movies a try and see how it compared. In terms of theming, Movies has a style similar to Music and Sports but with a more direct focus on Disney IP. I appreciated each of their distinct themes while on my morning run throughout the resorts. I stayed in the Toy Story section and there were often families walking around with young children excited to see the larger-than-life displays from one of their favorite movies. The Fantasia pool area, which was renovated just a few months ago, was also nicely themed with a water feature that seemed more grand than pools at Music and Sports. Though the pool didn’t look that big at first, there was plenty of space to spread out. ||The room was basic but exactly what you would expect from a value resort - clean and comfortable. In terms of theming and configuration, it was the same as Music and Sports though it had a few more scratches and dings (if I remember correctly Movies was renovated first out of the three). That being said, the room was totally functional and all I needed for such a short trip. The food and service at Movies were both fine but nothing spectacular. Quick service employees in particular seemed very apathetic about their jobs. Buses were always quick and I didn’t encounter any issues. Overall, I had a favorable stay at Movies and would keep it in mind for quick trips on a budget.

Room, within the lovebug area, was in excellent condition! I would love to stay here again when/if we come back. We drove to the hotel late at night, parked outside our room, checked in through our phone and was able to enter our room, unpack, eat and head to bed with in a better than expected time frame. The beds were comfy, the room was updated, the sliding doors between the bath and toilet area to the sink and mirror area, and to the room, were incredibly helpful. As a family of 4 it made getting ready for bed and for the morning a snap. Very private and needed. Didn't get very many pictures as we were taking every minute to relax, rest and move on. Would have loved to have gotten a picture with our kids in all of the fun areas and pools, but were in a rush with our too short vacation.

Great for family with kids. It is a budget friendly resort. Lots of things for the kiddos to see and do. Some minor maintenance issues(loose towel bars, small chips in floor) and small things like that. But overall descent. Food choices were limited, but some were great. I loved the salmon. The burgers were really good, my wife and I are split on the pizza but I thought it was descent and a great price too. We all agreed the rice bowls and pasta meals were the things to avoid. Transportation was bus and adequate. The pool was great. Large and clean, and fun. We all agree that we would go there again.

This was my first time staying in Disney property, I really did enjoy it. The check in process was pretty easy and the young lady, Naleyshka (sp) that checked us in was super nice. ||Our room was in the Love Bug section on the second floor. The room was nice, basic hotel room with one bed, can’t remember if it was full or queen and it had a Murphy Bed. The beds were surprisingly comfortable, the pillows were not bad. The room had a mini fridge and coffee maker.||The negatives I found with this room was the shower, it had no pressure and the toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner and body wash were not the best. It did, however, have an iron, ironing board and blow dryer was available. There is also a laundry facility on property. Another thing, our name did not appear on the tv as I have been told it would.||Overall I would recommend this hotel.

I checked in early June with my younger son who’s 13. Two nights was just myself and my son then my husband and my 16-year-old son joined us here for the last night. We had a room back in country fair. Very cute section! The walk was a little bit longer than what I would want. If I was doing a full week here I would want a preferred room! We had the June heat , if it was in the winter I probably would not mind it . Cons to the country fair section, is that there is a smoking section near the picnic tables and there seem to be always someone smoking every time I came out, but it did not ruin my stay here. We used the main pool one evening and though it was crowded it was very nice. Food was okay. I had the sesame chicken, I’d ask for more sauce if I was to get again. We use the bus service several times to get to Hollywood Studios to catch the Skyliner and then go enjoy the boardwalk area. I no problem with the buses. We checked into animal Kingdom Lodge after our three night stay here, even though I enjoyed our three nights here, I definitely like the theme at All-Star movies better! Pop Century would be my first choice out of the value resorts but if I’m on a very tight budget. All-Star movies would be my first choice Between the All-Stars for sure.

A Magical Stay for Disney Lovers on a Budget! As self-proclaimed Disney adults, my wife and I were thrilled with our stay at this resort! We scored a great deal and were pleasantly surprised by how much value we got for the price. The room was spotless and welcoming from the moment we walked in—literally! Our names were displayed on the TV, which was such a fun and personalized touch. The room came equipped with all the essentials: mini-fridge, microwave, hair dryer, and complimentary soap and shampoo. Everything we needed was right there. The beds were decent—comfortable enough, though not quite on par with our Sleep Number at home. Still, after a long day at the parks, we slept just fine. One of the biggest perks is the free shuttle service to and from the Disney parks. It saved us the hassle of driving and allowed us to fully enjoy experiences like “drinking around the world” at Epcot without worrying about getting back safely. The wait times for the buses were short and the service was super convenient. There’s a large on-site cafeteria with a wide variety of options, though we found it a bit pricey for food that was just okay. That said, it’s a handy option if you’re looking to grab something quickly before or after the parks. Overall, we highly recommend this resort, especially for families or couples looking to enjoy Disney magic without spending a fortune. It’s clean, convenient, and a great home base for your Disney adventures!

Yelp
My family and I got into the habit of going to Disney fairly often. And we often chose to stay at Movies. It became our home away from home. The rooms were always adequate, and the last time we were there we were able to stay in one of the renovated rooms, and it was absolutely fantastic. We love the familiarity of the dining hall. We always stopped there on the way back in from the parks for a treat. These cupcakes were the highlight of our night one of the days we spend there.

Yelp
The hotel is fine if you seriously just don't care and want something cheap. If you need to shower at all during your stay I'd skip it. Since the water pressure wasn't even enough to rinse soap from the body. The bed doesn't have a comforter, just 2 thin sheets. It was freezing when we were there and definitely would have preferred more blanket. The biggest issue is how thin the walls are. I noticed the first day I could hear from the room next to us someone using the restroom. Then there was neighbors who stayed up all night talking, their children screaming and playing. If anyone walked by outside the sound was amplified into the room. The food options are limited and over priced. All in all. I'll never stay here again. The cool theming isn't enough to feel worth it.

Yelp
Located in the All Star resort group, it is in a great resort to stay on for a overnighter before our Disney Cruise. We arrived around 7:00pm and check-in was a breeze. There was no wait and we were able to get all the necessities in place. Having a Magicband+ prior to the trip made it convenient and easy to go. Our room was located a longer than brief walking distance and it was a small hassle with all our luggage (luckily for us, we had porters to transport our luggage from our room to the ship the next day). They had complimentary shuttle transportation from the hotels to any the theme park and Disney Spring running from day to night. The Room: it was nice and everything I had expected. Room was spacious enough and the bathroom was a decent size. The pull down bed was nice considering the space it saves when you need it, the kiddos enjoyed sleeping on it as it is much better than the rollaway beds. I would recommend staying at the All Star resorts (to be on a Disney resort) to catch a cruise. When I visit WDW next time, I would like to stay in another Disney property and experience what the other resort space has to offer.

Yelp
Value makes this hotel worth it. It had clean rooms, easy transportation to the Disney parks. Friendly staff. A cute gift store. The food court was rather large how ever the choices were limited and the food lackluster. For me the biggest perk to staying here was the shuttle service to the parks. The pool was closed for renovation when we were there but other wise the grounds were well taken care of.

Yelp
Not ADA friendly, only handicap parking is up front by check in, lots of curbs and stairs. Standard Queen double is a bed and a Murphy bed which is not mentioned in the description at all (pictured as 2 queens. Rooms are VERY VERY tiny. Staff was aloof at best after 12 pm. While I understand it's a "value" resort. There wasn't much value considering what you pay.

Carol A.

Yelp
Staff were very friendly and super helpful . They do a cute send off every morning before you get on the bus' to go to the parks. Food at the resort was pretty mediocre I wasn't blown away. I would recommend getting food elsewhere. However we did buy the reusable mug cup and we thought that that it was worth the money. Our room was very clean and a good size. The pool was nice, our toddler had fun in the arcade. They also have a nice gift shop on property. We stayed in the fantasia section which wouldn't have been my first choice theme wise but was still decent. Overall a nice place to stay and super convenient for all the parks and with the bus' to take you to any park or Disney springs is really convenient especially with children

Yelp
I've heard so many mixed reviews on the All Star Resorts. It was only my second time at Disney World and last time I stayed at Pop Century. I was a little worried, but the cost difference allowed us an extra day to go to the parks. I checked in online and had no issues, was able to give my card information for the security deposit and put in some room requests. I received text messages when my room was ready. We had a preferred room, and from looking at the resort layout I don't think I would have enjoyed staying in a standard room since it was still a bit of a walk to and from. We were in Fantasia building 8. Parking was a bit of a pain as the lots are so far from the rooms, but getting to the busses was easy. I love the subtle Disney themes in the room, it had plenty of storage space and room to store our luggage. However I do wish the sink and restroom were separated. We also loved the "Hey Disney" Alexa in the room. The World Premiere food court was very convenient to have close by for a late night snack or a late breakfast. They had lots of options but also not many at the same time. Some more variety would have been appreciated. We also purchased the refillable cups. We never had to wait to very long for the busses, however on the way back to the resort at night there was sometimes only on bus for all three all star resorts which was really annoying since Movies was the last resort to drop off and having to make multiple stops isn't great when the drivers are already making you sick! Regardless, we had a good time and had no issues. All the cast members we interacted with where kind and helpful. I wish the pools were open later, an adult only pool would be awesome too!

Yelp
I want to share how wonderful my experience was staying here for 4 nights and 5 days. The facility was clean, the staff were all very sweet and accommodating. My family and I have to say it felt like home.

Abigail C.

Yelp
Hotel staff are friendly, helpful and professional. The rooms are on the smaller side, but still nice, clean. We stayed for 5 days, and got the free "first time" and "celebration" buttons. (Just ask someone at the front desk) If you plan on dining at the hotel getting the $21.99 souvenir mug is the worth the cost. You can get unlimited refills however it can be used only at the hotels not in the parks. One big perk of staying on property is you get early access to the parks and you use the "lightening lane" before the general public. Also Disney provides bus transport to the parks and back to your hotel. The buses are air conditioned and the seats are somewhat comfortable. The Disney Movie Resort has a large outdoor pool, playground and the have featured films that play during the evening. It also has activities throughout the day such making s'mores on a fire pit. Overall, this is a great hotel and would definitely recommend.

Yelp
This was only my second time staying at a Disney hotel, after staying at Pop Century during the summer, and it was another great Disney experience! Everything was incredibly clean, lots of "wow" factor from all the fun decor, and the staff was so friendly. It was so fun exploring the hotel decor. We didn't participate in the free activities since we had a short trip, but love that they have those! The s'mores activity sounded so fun! The rooms are designed very efficiently to maximize space for accommodating more guests in a room if needed (there's tons of shelving in the bathroom and a pull-down Murphy bed). My only feedback is it would be nice to have some healthier breakfast options since it's mainly carb-based (even the bowls have tator tots as the base) and the walls in the rooms are a bit on the thinner side. But otherwise, would definitely stay again!

Stephanie D.

Yelp
I think the rooms are good for the amount of time you are there tv is updated it's large enough to see from across the room. Small cooler( not a refrigerator ) for drinks not suitable to keep any items cold, disappointed NO MICROWAVE IN ROOM , is absurd, everyone has leftovers and sometimes want popcorn in room, look into this people want I assure you , THE..... tub is old cement tub from the 1970s this is a hazardous accident waiting to Happen for anyone any age DANGEROUS!!!! Very slick this needs to be upgraded immediately! Other than that I loved the cafeteria and laundry mat on-site ( the food is very overpriced, and bland, but convenient if you are not leaving property. ) all in all if recommended it's a good value

Lauren H.

Yelp
Fun Disney resort. Underrated. I wish more loved this location. The theming is excellent. Personal opinion- if you're going to be staying on Disney property and you want the perks on being on property, then stay here because you won't be in your rooms much, and you'll save a ton compared the the grand! THAT SAID you can also have a whole vacation just here. The resort is so fun. There's pools, activities, bus hopping, an arcade, bars. Really a great resort at a great cost (for Disney prices)

Arianna M.

Yelp
I booked the resort for 3 nights and had an amazing experience! The rooms were clean, and spacious enough for us. The beds were decently comfortable and the pillows were nice and fluffy. I was disappointed with their coffee maker, they are really retro and without possibilities to bring your own kcups or coffee to brew. We enjoyed the arcade each night and went to the Fantasia pool every day during our stay. Ordering food from the food court was convenient to a certain extent. It was nice to look at a menu and order with the intent to have it delivered or pick up to enjoy in your room but if you're wanting to sit down and eat with your family at the food court, it felt kinda weird to order from the app to have to wait to enjoy it at the food court. It was just weird going to a food court that was empty. It was very convenient to have a gift shop with a variety of things needed to make the best out of a mini vacation; milk, water diapers, clothes, hats, shoes, etc. Loved having transportation services to the theme parks as well. Overall, we had a great time and wouldn't mind returning again in the future.

Yelp
Growing up, I never thought I'd stay on property at Disney. While Disneyland on-property resorts are still a bit pricey for my wallet, I have stayed on-site at Disney World for the Disney races. Especially for the races, it's so convenient to stay at a Disney resort because they will have shuttles to take you to and from the expo (to get the bib and spend money on the merchandise related ro the race), shuttles to and from the start and finish lines, and, as a way to celebrate the accomplishment, they have a table waiting for the runners to make their own celebratory buttons. For this race, they also had beads available to make friendship bracelets (how appropriate since Taylor Swift just released her album the day I flew in). The room is small, but perfect for a solo traveler (like myself) or a couple. A family with two small kids could make it work as there were two queen size beds; one is just tucked away for the table. The room has a refrigerator, coffee maker, and safe. I love how they are integrated with the app so you can check in with the app, check out with the app, and even use your phone as the hotel room key. Upon arrival in the room, on the TV is personalized sign that welcomes you to the resort.

Yelp
The Disney Resorts are so much fun, even the value resorts. I was in Orlando to volunteer at GKTW village and needed a hotel for only one night. I decided to stay here on a Wednesday night. The theming is fantastic. They have giant decorations from all the Disney movies throughout the property. I love it! The pool is also cute with sorcerer Mickey spraying water. The check in area also has a food court style restauarant that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is also an arcade. There is also a gift shop selling souvenirs and snacks.

Della B.

Yelp
I stayed at the Disney All-Star Movies Resort for a couple of days. I love the energy of the resort, it's very positive and happy. The resort is themed after different movies. We stayed at the Love Bug . Herbie was right outside our building. Which was a cute touch. The resort has a smores event where you can roast marshmallows and make the delicious dessert. The cast members were always friendly and available to help. The gift shop has a variety of Disney merchandise. The only downside is the food court and lobby are far away. The room was a bit small but practical. During meal times the food court is handy, however, it seemed the cast members had a hard time keeping up with keeping the eating area clean and the lines were long lines at the different restaurants.

Cassandra B.

Yelp
Staff was very friendly, requested early check in, and was willing to pay a fee, but a room wasn't ready for a few hours. Housekeeping was great. Food was decent, but way over priced.

Jon K.

Yelp
All the Disney resorts come with great perks. The rooms here are pretty small and even with 3-4 people its going to be snug in your room but this would be my recommendation if you want to save money and still get the benefits of being at a resort. There are 2 pools, the Mickey pool heater was broken and we were there for Christmas so that was a bummer but we spent most of our time at the parks and not at the resort. If you like to spend a few days at the resort and split your park days you might want a different resort but if you are going to just be sleeping and maybe getting some snacks or quick meals this resort is fine.

Kelly D.

Yelp
I seriously wish I took more photos and did more activities here. We only stayed 3 days but was out most of the days. The staff was friendly. Hotel was clean. Place was pretty big and spacious. The pools looked awesome but my son had a cast on his arm and couldn't get in the pool so we skipped that. My husband said the playground was small, especially compared to the parks we have at home (which are standard, not big). I love that they have air conditioned buses that take you places and back, including the amusement parks. They even have a store at the hotel to shop some items. The dining area was easy to get around and purchase items. They had vegan and vegetarian items (at least for breakfast). They even have a plant based Mickey frittata. My kids didn't like it though. I'm not sure what it tastes like because I can't have onions /garlic, and it was seasoned with that. Their food was decent. The quality isn't top notch whatsoever. It's just like cafeteria food to me, or fast food. One cool option is to purchase a souvenir cup for $21.99+tax and you could use it for the whole duration of your stay (free refills). Perk of staying at Disney hotel, if you didn't know already, you get to enter the park an hour early. Cleaning is every other day

Tulsa H.

Yelp
This is one of the budget hotels that is still part of Disney's owned resort. We picked this because of the movies theme. And prefer this theme over sports or music. We liked it a lot for our four nights stay at Disney World. One complaint I do have is that I feel the buses transporting people from Magical Kingdom to this specific resort should have two buses instead of just one especially during the holidays, when they should probably know by now that one bus compartment wouldn't be enough to take all the visitors--especially to this budgeted resort. The food wasn't good and quite expensive, but that's what you would expect from a theme park. The cost during Christmas was about $300 per night. Which is quite expensive from what is maybe equivalent to a comfort inn. But it was within our budget for this four nights trip to Disney World!

Kadian M.

Yelp
I absolutely loved this resort and how they themed each section. Like Calypso, Jazz and Broadway. I stayed in the broadway section and it was a small room. Everything is far from each other so count on walking a lot. You do have to pay for all your meals so keep that in mind. However they aren't extremely expensive but it does add up. The food is decent nothing to really rave about. Except the sesame chicken and broccoli stir fry. For breakfast I say stick with what you know. I did try their sausages and they were not good. The vanilla pancakes and Mickey waffles were me and my son's favorite. We stayed for 3 days and I recommend it if your kids like visually loud environments.

Melanie A.

Yelp
What an adorable, wonderful experience and such a convenient stay! I stayed for 4 nights on a solo trip (my first to Disney World), as I booked during a big sale and the prices were similar to offsite hotels, but with dependable transportation and a Disney touch. I was so pleased with everything! Arrival was easy - my room was ready right on time, and since I did check in on my phone, I got a notification right away (while I was standing at the front desk). The room was sleek, modern, and comfortable with a touch of Disney decor and TONS of storage - like, crazy amounts of shelving, even in the bathroom. I had no complaints about the bed comfort level, and the bathroom vanity & shower were very nice. I used the self service laundry right below my room (Mighty Ducks) which was convenient and easy. There is a machine with detergent powder & dryer sheets for $1 each (accepts quarters and card), and the machines were comparable to laundromats or college dorms. My ABSOLUTE favorite part of my stay was the food!! I have celiac disease and normally have to plan ahead for everywhere I eat, and can almost never have hotel breakfast aside from fruit and an egg. I was absolutely in awe of the care taken by the allergy chefs and entire team to make sure those with allergies - being told they could make me almost anything I want had me nearly in tears. Everything was delicious, and even without a full cafe, the iced lattes in the morning hit the spot too. True Disney magic for an adult!

Aubrey F.

Yelp
Great check in process. You can check in via the app or in person. I choose in person since I had a few questions. It was quick and easy. Our room was clean and no problems at first. We had an adjoining door to another room. I've never had a problem with this at other hotels but this was an issue here. We could hear the family, which I believe was 2 adults and 2 children, clear as day. We arrived to our room around 8pm. We basically ran in to drop our stuff off, change, and head to dinner. I made sure both adjoining doors were shut, which they were. But the volume of the family next door was loud as if the doors were open. By the time we arrived back from dinner and a walk around the property, the family was asleep. But at 6am, they were up and loud. Could here everything in their room until they left around 730am. I was trying to be understanding that they are children and excited but it was 6am and they were so loud. I called the front desk but they advised I should have called while they were they were in the room. They stated they would have sent security.

Noah L.

Yelp
Had a great time with the family! Had a great pool and the food was pretty good. Room service always came while we were at the park and made sure our room was nice and clean.

Jessica N.

Yelp
Any stay at a Disney resort is. Magical stay! We were able to check in and get to our room earlier than expected. It was very obvious that it was freshly clean so that's always a plus! The room was nice and cool when we arrived so after a morning of traveling and the Florida humid it was nice and relaxing. This time we were even able to connect the tv to our phones to stream. Also you're now able to connect to your Disney plus account. The cafe on site is much different than the other resorts but still has everything we needed. Also they allowed us a late check out which was perfect for us to come back to the room for an afternoon break to rest, pack drop off our luggage before heading back to the parks for the remainder of our trip. When starting at Disney resorts, there is always shuttles available to take you to the different parks and springs so it's one of the best ways to get around. Plus let's not forget early access to the park!

Mariah S.

Yelp
We loved the all star movie resort! The prices are very reasonable and the resort is very kid friendly. It had a nice, separate swimming area for small children which my almost 2 year old child loved. It had a food court and gift shop which we frequented! The rooms were recently renovated and pretty nice. The bathroom was a little outdated. I was very impressed with the housekeeping as well. They did a phenomenal job cleaning our room! It was spotless when we would return once it had been cleaned. They also had activities planned every day for kids. I'd say we'll probably stay here again.

Kate W.

Yelp
I've stayed at quite a few Disney resorts over the years, but this was my first time at All-Star Movies. This is a Disney value resort, so it is a little more utilitarian than some of the higher end resorts, but it costs significantly less. The grounds are well maintained and the cast members are all friendly and eager to assist. There are 2 pools, an arcade, restaurant, and playground to enjoy when you aren't in the parks. The food is basic, so I prefer to skip it and eat in the parks or Disney Springs. The hotel gift shop is well appointed and has the basic sundries you might need. The rooms have recently been renovated and I was really pleased. There is a ton of storage, lots of outlets/USB ports, and a pretty large bathroom and television. My room was spotless when I checked in. I had a little bit of difficulty getting in touch with bell services over the phone, so I ended up picking my bags up myself, as they never showed in my room. The bed is pretty comfortable and the room has nice amenities including a stocked coffee and tea bar and mini fridge - helpful for chilling drinks and snacks if you are bringing your own snacks. For the price, my room was a great deal. The only downside is that the walls are pretty thin and I could hear my neighbors talking very clearly which made relaxing a little tricky. Getting to the parks is super easy with on site buses, but be prepared to wait during the busy season as buses are shared between all three All Star resorts and fill up quickly. While this is by no means my favorite Disney resort, it is a great value for the money and a nice place to crash for the night while you spend time enjoying all Disney has to offer.

Melanie P.

Yelp
Definitely the best bang for your buck! Stayed for the weekend for a girls trip and had a blast! Our room was very clean and spacious for the both of us. We loved having a mini fridge and enjoying all the beautiful decorated buildings. It's great having all the perks of staying on property and not have to worry about transportation. Can't wait to book another value resort

Chris S.

Yelp
The price was good and having access directly to the park gate by the hotel bus was a huge plus. We took advantage of the early park access by staying at a Disney resort, which I highly recommend if you are an early riser. Room for the most part was no frills. A beverage fridge in the room was a nice amenity that we used for hard boiled eggs, items to make sandwiches for taking to the parks, and drinks. What took this down to a 2 star review was the disgusting tub. The kids got first access to showers so I don't know what it looked like to begin with, but you can see how I found it...dirty, moldy, grossness! I called the front desk and asked for it to be cleaned the next day since it was late and I was the last to shower. An hour or more later I awoke to the sound of the housekeeper knocking on our door in the middle of the night. Asked her to clean the tub the next day and went back to bed. For the rest of the 6 night stay, the tub was NEVER cleaned, so I can only assume this is their standard for cleaning. I ended up getting bad foot fungus and had huge chunks of skin peel away from the bottom of my feet. The last thing you want when on your feet all day is for them to also be burning and itching from someone else's foot fungus.

Yelp
This hotel for a value resort in WDW was one of the best All Star Resorts we've stayed at. It had really good shuttle services to each parks including Disney Springs. Their beds are comfortable to sleep on. The food court had good food including Mickey Waffles and the travel mugs you buy the 1st time would work as free drinks for the rest of your stay which is pretty cool. Went to the pool bar and Nick was an awesome bartender. He gave us great tips to the parks, especially for your 1st trip to Walt Disney World. There's even a mini Disney store next to the lobby. We stayed at the Fantasia Building and the environment was great. I was told this place was redone recently. Virtual check in and checkout through the My Disney Experience app was very convenient. The would definitely recommend this place.

Yelp
Loved the theme of this hotel, especially for the kids! Food was easy to grab after a long park day!

Yelp
Really enjoyed my stay at this Disney value resort! The room was basic, but very comfortable, and you don't goto Disney to sit in your hotel room anyway. This is an animal kingdom area hotel, and was about a 15 minute bus ride to Epcot and Animal kingdom and just a few minutes longer to magic kingdom, with busses running about every 20 minutes. They have a nice big pool that was a perk for a lot of people, a game room, a Disney merchandise shop(of course!) and a great food court. I only ate here one morning but had a delicious bacon egg and cheese sandwich for about 7$. It was bigger, better, and cheaper than anything you will find in the parks. This is actually several buildings, the main lobby with the food court etc is a separate building from the hotel rooms. This was only an issue one day when it rained and I waited it out in the game room. Some nice Disney memorabilia on display including a Herbie that was used in the Disney parade in years past. Check in/out was easy, all done on the disney experience app, which will also unlock your room. But you can goto the front desk for a key card if you like. I truly prefer the hotels on the monorail, but every are really pricey. All Star Movies worked out great for me and I'll stay there again in the future. I will tell you that as a value resort it is often used by groups. There were a couple large groups, one a HS band, staying there. If they beat you to the bus line in the morning you are most likely out of luck!

Yelp
We stayed next "door" at Music so this review is for the grounds and pool. You can use any All Star resort pool when you stay at an All Star resort. I imagine the rooms and beds here are just as cozy. The pool area is neatly themed with Fantasia. Plenty of life guards, lounge chairs, towels, and room. Lots of fun things to discover and cool places for photo ops when exploring the resort. You probably can't go wrong with any of the three though I've seen warnings Sports sees larger noisier groups.

Yelp
We stay here almost every time we come to Disney! Love that it is so immersive and everyone who works there is so friendly! This was being drawn by one of the works there with just a mop and water! So creative! This added a little extra flair!

Yelp
First time at the all star movie. I stayed in pop century 5 time, 1 time at art of animation and 1 time at riverside. Pop is my all-time favorite (while I did love my cars suite, it's way more expensive thus why I'm more for pop). This trip, I tried all star music and movies. So far, I prefer movies over music. I like better the theming, the pool layout and theming, the food court have more choice and seems bigger (like a mix of pop and art). But I'm pretty sure they are very similar. For the room, I was in a preferred room wheelchair accessible with a roll in shower. The room was bigger than the same (but with a bath) at pop because I had dual double bed instead of dual queen bed. But since I we were each in our bed, we didn't had any problem with the size of the bed. And the extra space was welcome to navigate with the wheelchair or crutches. One of the problem, and I'm pretty sur it's the same in any wheelchair room with roll in shower, is where they placed the water control, shower head, bench vs the soap/shampoo/conditionner dispenser. They are at opposite side of the shower in the long side. It means if you have person that cannot walk like my girlfriend with a broken knee, she cannot reach the soap. I had to help her in the shower to wash her hair. I'm very sure it's the same across all renovated room in any hotel, not just all-star. We had a similar experience in pop with a bath, where the dispenser where over her head behind her, too high to reach (or would spread all over her face since she can't see what she was doing). Easy fix would be to simply put the dispenser next to the bench like the water controls. Another problem across all resort is the door. There is no way for someone in a wheelchair to get in or out of the room. The door is too heavy, cannot be opened by any powered action and close quite fast. So they require someone to open and hold the door. Which mean if the person is alone, she need to request help from the front desk. Again this is not just at all-star but I still include it here for information. Like anywhere on Disney properties, the cast member are magical and need a raise (they really are way underpaid for all the magic they make happen during your stay. Disney, without your cast member, you lose at least 80% of the magic, raise them!) You will read bad review on housekeeping. These are from people that don't understand the new housekeeping. First, they never enter your room when there's someone in or of you left the do not disturb sign. You can option out of the housekeeping or keep a minimum housekeeping every other day. But there's rules. They won't change any hang towel. If you want them change, they have to be in the bath/shower floor. They will empty trash can. Wether or not you option out of the housekeeping, you can always put your trashcan outside the door to have it empty. You can also put towels and washcloth outside for disposal and request new at the front desk, ovrtthe phone or just by catching a cast member that do house keeping. Same can be done for anything in fact. I myself requested more blanket and pillow plus a fan like that. Everything was done in like 15 minutes. All in all, the renovated room really feel the same across pop, movies and music. While I really love pop, I might start looking at movie in the futur for more saving. But, there's 2 thing you must know. Pop has sky liner which provide very fast travel to HS and Epcot (also riveria and carabeen beach resort). And the bus line for all star travel to all 3 resort starting t sports, then music and the movies. That means bus can be full when they reach you in music or movies or have no more place for wheelchair. This can make traveling more frustrating and also a lot more slower. You might want to travel on foot to sports to be first in line. At also mean that going back to the resort at park closure gather 3 resort in 1 bus line, which can result in very big line. The main pool is fantasia themed. On the right of the "pool bar" or food court, there's a half enclosed place from which I forgot the name that have activity during the day and it's where movies by the star occur.

Yelp
I loved my June 8 to June 12 vacation 5 days and 4 nights at Disney all star movie resort. The resort was clean and the air conditioner kept our room nice and cool. I had a nice time sitting by the pool and wading in the water. The Dining area on the resort was large and I always found a sitting area to enjoy my meal. Breakfast was delicious. When it was time to go to a Park we hopped on a bus and off we went. I used the Disney mobile app for the bus times. I will come back to this resort.

Yelp
Personally, I love the budget hotels the most when it comes to staying here. The theming is so on point, there are tons of photos ops at every turn. I have taken the most icon scenes, like Toy Story, and turned those photos of the kids into stickers because they are so unbelievably adorable. Even inside the rooms they have every detailed planned with the theming. We stayed in the Herbie the Love Bug room, so cute. I also do not know what it is, but they have the best showers too, tons of pressure. And the soap and shampoos, these are our favorites. I also do not need a hotel with a fancy restaurant, there are so many to pick around the resort as a whole. I want a food court. Those are the best for us when it comes to a home base. It is a great place to start for breakfast, and a great place to end if you need a snack. Plus the mugs, I live for them. The food court is also great for pool days. I love the variety of pools here. I really try to get a few relax pool days each vacation, and try to pool hop around the resort. Plus the little squirt areas and play areas are so great, especially if the kids are really small, since they can climb on and touch everything. The Mickey Fantasia pool is my favorite. Honestly, we picked this hotel because one of the kids loves 101 Dalmatians and they come to life here. What is not to love. Plus I could go into the gift shop every day multiple times a day. I am just window shopping but I like to get my Disney goodness when I can, especially the crispy treats. Those are my favorites.

Yelp
We loved staying here. We stayed in the Toy story building. The staff was accommodating and friendly. The grounds were clean as well as the room. The best meal at the cafeteria was the breakfast selections and desserts but I had already known the food situation because we have stayed at Art of Animation in the past. Already knowing the food situation, We chose to order take out at other near by spots and bring them back to the room. The pool was fun and lively. The drinks at the bar were good. Overall We had a great time staying here and would recommend staying here.

Yelp
I think it's fair to call this a 2.5 resort. It wasn't absolutely awful, but it's not a luxury resort, either. As you can see in the photos, the shower was pretty gross. The towels had staining on them - clean, but just worn out. The shower was ridiculously hard to turn all the way off. If you're ground floor, you're going to hear the passersby. I'd try to get a top floor if you're a light sleeper. The food is like all other theme park food. If you like that food, you'll like this. If you are like me and find park food pretty subpar - you'll find the same here. The beds were fine. Mine was a Murphy bed that worked well for me because I prefer firm. The person with whom I was traveling seemed fine with their non-Murphy bed. In all, it was fine. You don't stay in the rooms long if you're at the park all day. Still, if you're picky - maybe go up a few rungs in the Disney property chain.

Yelp
We stated 6 nights & had no issues. The staff is very friendly and quick to help & respond to any requests. The food court had good food. Pools are heated, rooms are clean so is the outside. We stayed on the first floor didn't hear any outside (or upstairs) noise. Yes, there are kids running around BUT you're in Disney!

Yelp
I love this place...definitely feels like a home away from home. the room is always beyond clean with plenty of space...they keep the entire hotel very clean. the lobby is huge and the gift shop is awesome! extra friendly staff and willing to do whatever it takes to help. having the shuttles pick up and drop off is incredibly convenient and makes it practically stress free. love using the mobile ordering option for meals...the food court staff does a great job! love the pool area...I always feel very safe when I stay at this hotel.

Yelp
last year we stayed at the same resort and it was amazing. This year we have encountered nothing but rude or un concerned staff. We checked in Monday and our room wasn't attended to until Friday at 5:00pm right when we returned back from a long day and were about to clean up and pack, and the only reason someone came was because we complained and the person we complained to was very unconcerned and unprofessional. The overall experience for the price was not good and even though we know we are just a small grain of sand on The Disney beach and we won't make a difference I just wanted to voice my concerns

Yelp
Our first time staying at Disney resorts. Picked this resort because of how fun it looked for the kids. Each part of the resort is a different theme with large characters as decor. The resort is awesome! There's activities throughout the day. Staff is so welcoming and kind, literally living up to the saying "happiest place on earth". There are shuttle busses that take you to any part of the parks. And even to the airport for a decent fee (called the Mears). Check in is super easy on the Disney app. The room key is also located on the app itself! Room was super clean and was also Disney themed. Our room came with a pull out bed, fridge, iron, blow dryer, body wash shampoo and conditioner. There is a laundry room, bar by the pool, arcade for the kids, shopping area, and a food court! Our vacation was perfect! And I'm so happy we stayed at this resort. Highly recommend!! Also pricing was super affordable which was great! Buy tickets to the parks and package it with a hotel and you're all set to go!

Yelp
We dropped off our bags at bell services before checking in, who would drop off our bags in the room once it was ready. Once we got to our room at the end of the day, our room door was slightly open with our bags inside. Luckily nothing got stolen, but leaving the door unlocked with our bags inside is completely unprofessional. When I called the guest services to inform them about what happened, they didn't seem to care.

Yelp
Everything was very nice and staff are very kind. My husbands disability needs were met without issues.

Yelp
We had a clean, utilitarian room at an affordable price. The beds were comfortable, and one could be folded away to use an attached table. I didn't hear a peep from any other guests, and slept like the dead. There is a luggage room to hold your stuff while you're in the park. They will also deliver your bags to your room so you don't have to wait in line to get them later. The gift shop is open late. You can get anything from souvenirs to suitcases to highly personal items. The food court has good, filling hot meals, and lots of cold selections to grab n go. It was nice to have a fortifying meal before ten miles of walking everyday! Service was good! The lady who checked us in was very thorough, and set up our room keys to work as entrance passes. I was worried about how we were supposed to use the app, so this extra help set us up for success. Buses pick up every few minutes. It was very convenient, and I was glad to let someone else do the driving at the end of each long day. There is security at the hotel. You can't drive on without proof of a reservation and photo ID.

Yelp
Buyer beware, this place was described by the concierge as a budget value vs a Premium hotel. Rooms cleaned only if you stay 3+ days... Disney World is a lot larger than Disneyland but the quality of service is much lower. Half of the arcade machines in the arcade do not work so paying for $25 for 2000 points really isnt worth it, the amount of games your child can actually play is very small and you'll find that even if you play them all the disappointment from your child after some of the best titles not working ruins the experience. I was told by the cleaning staff that your room may be scheduled to be cleaned as late as 12am... SMH this place is not worth the money you pay it's better to find a place outside more familiar with good customer service and are not hiding behind the Disney brand name to sell rooms. I have to admit that it is a couple hundred a night which is cheaper than most Disneyland hotels but that price doesn't excuse the blatant disregard for customer experience and general cleanliness. #badservice #buyerbeware

Yelp
Prior to this year, my previous time staying here was almost 20 years ago. I can safely say that the magic for me is still there! Had a wonderful time with my girlfriend. Very easy check in, super helpful staff who were friendly and knowledgeable. The room was very clean and comfortable for the two of us. Not too much in the way of amenities in the room itself (mini fridge, coffee machine, NO microwave) but it wasn't a big deal for us as we only really spent time in the room to sleep and shower. The pools outside were pleasant with the incredible theming these hotels are known for. Washing our clothes in the laundry room was also a pleasant experience as well. Although the food in the food court wasn't extraordinary, it got us through breakfast before we hit the parks (those special Mickey waffles!) Having the bus transportation was nice too, we ran into no issues during our stay. We are definitely planning on coming back to this hotel on our next Disney vacation.

Yelp
It's not awful but the rooms are tiny and the beds aren't very comfortable. Not a very comfortable stay if you're looking for any relaxation. The cafeteria food is pretty awful too. The pool is very nice.
