We stayed one night at the Boardwalk Villas. We wanted to try it to see if we would like to stay there again. From the beginning it was a mess. Our room was supposed to be available at 4:00 pm. It wasn't so we talked with the front desk staff. They gave an excuse and said that it should be ready "soon". We had dinner reservations and wanted to get ready so I asked for an estimated time. She continued to make excuses with no time frame. Then the manager (James) came over with a chip on his shoulder. I asked if this is the customer service we should expect. He backed off and said he would check on the room. Turns out they had no other rooms (sure) and that there was a mechanical issue. He apologized and gave a room credit but by that point our visit was sour. The room was a significant hike, dirty and had a broken balcony. If I was a DVC member and paid 40K for this I would have lost it. We won't ever stay at the villas again nor are we interested in DVC due to how they treat you when this happens.

A fun resort to visit, there's entertainment on the boardwalk on designated nights. There's several great eateries. Not to mention the resort itself and the amenities like the pool, water taxi, Surrey rentals, and more.

This is a great place to experience Disney. We really enjoyed our stay here and loved the close proximity to Epcot. I will definitely stay here again as all the staff we interacted with were beyond wonderful and helpful. Hotel was very clean and classy. The Innkeeper's Club is definitely the way to go and you won't regret spending the extra money for it. Special shout out to Joe in the club level, you are AWESOME !

Incredible stay! The room was immaculate and cast extremely friendly and helpful. Location is prime, walking distance to Epcot and Hollywood studios. Boat and skyliner transit options as well. Great dining options nearby, and overall just a welcoming and awesome ambiance.

We went for a 3 night stay and had an excellent time. It's a little difficult finding the entrance from the parking lot, but other than that, we really enjoyed our stay. The 1 bedroom villa was beautiful and tastefully decorated. I still had some discomfort sleeping because the mattress and pillows are never completely comfortable to me, but other than that, everything was great!

Google
Grand hotel, beautifully appointed, good location for walking around the boardwalk, there is boat service to other resorts and parks , and close to the side entrance to Epcot which is not crowded, also close to the skyline gondolas . Very friendly staff!

I want this we only went there for a small walk on the boardwalk. It extends way beyond what we thought, and was a great place to relax. You can take the water shuttle back to Epcot and the skyliner. We only had dessert there, ice cream, but there are other food options but we didn't try it.

I hate negative reviews especially in my favorite place Disney, but my experience at the Boardwalk Inn Resort Hotel at Disney was so unacceptable that I feel it’s necessary to warn others. From the start, the cleanliness was appalling. Our room had mold including near the vending machines and in the bathroom. The blankets were dirty, like gross, even though they were supposed to be cleaned, and I found hair in the sink and shower. To make matters worse, the shower was broken it was like a pressure washer on yr body and kept flooding On top of the poor conditions, the way we were treated regarding our service animal was unacceptable. We were told, on day three, that staff had to come into our room to “make sure it was together” because of the animal. This felt invasive, unnecessary, and frankly discriminatory. A legitimate service animal should not be treated as an inconvenience or an excuse for extra scrutiny. I expected so much more from a Disney resort, especially at the price we paid. Instead, I was met with unsanitary conditions, disrespect, and a lack of hospitality. I would strongly urge anyone with a service animal—or anyone who values basic cleanliness—to reconsider staying here. I truly hope management takes this feedback seriously and makes the necessary improvements, because right now, this is far from the “magical” Disney experience they advertise. I’m sure they could care less they will get people either way. Honestly this place is just convenient it’s not worth the money. This isn’t luxury what so ever. Now I’m extremely uncomfortable staying here.

Yelp
Second time staying here and Disney's BoardWalk Villas deliver one unbeatable advantage: location. You absolutely cannot top the proximity to both EPCOT and Hollywood Studios--being able to walk to either park is a dream, and it's a huge part of the resort's appeal. The rooms themselves are spacious, comfortable, and nicely updated, giving you that refreshed DVC feel that really elevates the stay. That said, this resort comes with a few quirks guests should be aware of. BoardWalk Villas are the only Disney property without a true quick-service dining option or any restaurants physically inside the resort, which is surprising at this price point. The lobby is also the smallest of any Disney resort, and for the cost, it definitely feels underwhelming. While the location shines, the main pool area could use some love--theming feels dated, the kids pool needs a major refresh, and the waterslide was leaking in several spots during our visit. Overall, the walkability and room quality make BoardWalk Villas a great choice for EPCOT and Hollywood Studios lovers, but the lack of on-site dining and aging pool amenities are worth factoring into your stay.

Yelp
Checked in early in the morning after a red eye flight. Understandably there were no rooms available but the front desk said we would be first to get a room. We checked our bags with bell service and explored the property and then headed straight to Epcot. I really appreciated the location of the property. It is a 5-10 min walk to Epcot's entrance near the World Showcase, 10-15 min walk to Hollywood Studios, and had easy access to alternative transportation like the water boats and Skyliner. I would definitely recommend this central location if you stay in the summertime when it's sweltering hot and there are occasional thunderstorms. You can always head back to your room quickly for a break and freshen up in between the day. Bus rides to Animal Kingdom, Disney Springs, and Magic Kingdom are about 10 min. When returning to the property from the parks, it is a little longer ride since they combine drop offs to Yatch Club, Beach Club, and then Boardwalk on one route. The property has smaller pools than other Disney hotels we've stayed at. The water temperature was a warm 90 degrees during our summer visit. Nice looking carousel style bar at the main pool with a big slide. Our one bedroom villa was the perfect size for the three of us with a Murphy bed in the living room and full kitchen, washer and dryer, plus a patio overlooking one of the pools. We were also at the end of the wing so we were next to the stairway down for easy access to the path to Hollywood Studios. Our family also enjoyed visiting a new restaurant conveniently located on the Boardwalk, Flying Fish.

Yelp
It's hard to believe that I haven't written a review for the BoardWalk Villas before, seeing that I've stayed here several times since I was a teenager and it's one of my favorite Disney Resorts. There's been a lot of shuffling of Yelp business pages between the Villas, the Inn, and the actual BoardWalk attraction itself - so I feel my review is lost somewhere in there. Anyway, since I just recently stayed here, an update is in order. BoardWalk Villas is my parents' DVC home resort, and while we've stayed at several DVC properties, this is their favorite so as long as we went to Disney as a family we would stay here every other trip or so. Even when I purchased my own DVC membership I liked staying here since the overall aesthetic speaks to me. Don't quote me, but I believe this was the second DVC property to open, after Old Key West. As one would assume, the resort is located on the BoardWalk in the Epcot Resort Area, and shares many amenities with the neighboring Inn like the pool and lobby. I like that the Villas are connected to the main lobby, it gives the entire resort a unified design - different than other DVC resorts where the rooms are in standalone buildings. The theme is turn-of-the-century seaside, and they've done a good job capturing the feel with a bright color scheme and fitting accents. I've seen the resort go through several refreshes over the year and each one builds upon the last one. Location and amenities are huge perks. While the resort itself doesn't have shops and restaurants per se, all the shops and eateries on the BoardWalk itself kinda serve the resort guests. There's a good variety and because the BoardWalk is an attraction in itself, the resort feels alive even at night (but not too late that it creates noise issues when trying to sleep). For transport, you can walk to take a boat to Epcot or the Studios, and are a short walk from the Yacht Club, Beach Club, Swan, and Dolphin Resorts. Because you're right by Epcot's International Gateway, you can also catch the Skyliner to the parks and resorts on its route. I can't really find too many cons - I can see people not loving the transport options to the Studios or Epcot (especially because you don't enter through the main entrance of the latter), or the fact that some of the rooms are a long walk from the main lobby. Also, there was no full-length mirror in my room - I was struggling. The theming of the pool is a little tacky IMO, I get it's a theme park aesthetic because it's the Boardwalk but I think it leans a little to much into the kitsch. Overall though, Boardwalk Villas is everything that's great about a DVC resort and the Disney experience. It's one of the best DVC properties they have and I will definitely be returning for future stays.

Yelp
LOVE LOVE LOVE this resort ! We stay at a different resort every time we visit Disney (my second home) Although I was iffy about staying here (just wasn't appealing to me) we decided to give it a try anyway. And I am glad I did !! STUNNING resort. I was extremely impressed with the service, cleanliness, and style ! Skyliner and ferry available.. it's walking distance to Epcot and (and Hollywood studios if you don't mind a bit of a walk) view is amazing - I loved sitting on our balcony and having my coffee in the morning - out on the dock in between visiting the parks. So many delicious quick spots and restaurants -- I have reviewed them as well day and night entertainment for the family , live entertainment, movies, crafts- they had it all! Beach club was undergoing some construction so their guests were allowed to use our pool which did make it very busy and overwhelming - we couldn't even find a chair. BUT then again this was only because of the other guests coming over which was understandable and expected. We will definitely be adding a few nights here to our next trip just because we don't get to experience everything I wanted to (night life for adults, the lounge, etc)

Yelp
My family and I enjoyed staying at Boardwalk Villas in March 2024. What a fun experience! We booked a couple of suites in the newly renovated area. The area is so new that you can smell the fresh paint and new carpet in the hallway. The smell was not overpowering, but just enough to know we had brand-new rooms, like the smell of a brand-new car (well, not exactly). Some rooms on another floor were still under renovation during our stay, which didn't affect our experience. This is my first time at the Villas, so I can't compare it with older rooms. Walking into my suite, everything was clean, and the layout was spacious. It had a kitchenette with a toaster, mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and more, a queen-sized bed with a couple of hideaway beds, a couch, and a TV. Boardwalk Villas is also within walking distance of EPCOT and Hollywood Studios! A ferry is also available to commute to the parks and other stops in the area. Buses loop around to provide rides to and from many of the other parks and Disney Springs. The boardwalk has many places to eat, shop, and entertain, so you won't get bored while staying here. We tried out Boardwalk pizza, and although it gets busy in the evening, we could order a large to-go and enjoy it in our room. There are plenty of amenities for the whole family, including fun-themed pools with bars, an arcade, a gym, tandem bike rentals, and more! I enjoyed waking up early for a morning stroll around the boardwalk property. Checking in through the WDW App was easy, and our room key was accessed through the app. You can also open your door with a MagicBand+. We had to talk with staff about our bands not working initially, but they resolved the issue promptly. Would I stay here again? I'd consider that idea in the future. Boardwalk is a pricey stay, but sometimes you must splurge on yourself and/or your family.

Yelp
Our family loved our stay at Disney's Boardwalk Villas. I made reservations for this two-night staycation seven months in advance. Our room was beautiful, comfortable and spacious. The Boardwalk was fun to walk around in the evenings. We stopped at the bakery one morning for pastries (highly recommend!), and that was the extent of us dining on properly. Epcot was a five minute walk away, and bus transportation to the other parks was prompt and convenient. Overall, this is a gorgeous resort to stay at, as well as visit!

Yelp
Had a great stay for my birthday. Randomly, when I was booking the room the Studio and the One Bedroom Villa was the same price (both were very pricey, but that's another story). I was thinking about going with the Studio because there were two beds and a pull out and I was staying with three friends, but then I saw that the One Bedroom is double the size! I would highly recommend the One Bedroom over the Studio, even though it's just a king size bed and a queen size pull out. I loved having a view of the boardwalk. It was considered a premium view, but it was so nice to just sit on the balcony. This place is great because it's walking distance to Epcot, Hollywood Studios, Jelly Rolls and the Atlantic Dancehall. We had a hard time checking in, even though I did it online it never said our room was ready. We had dinner reservations so I finally went to the front desk and they said it was ready. It's a long walk from the front desk to our room so they said they'd make sure we could get in. Spoiler Alert, we walked all the way to the room and our magic bands didn't work. I had to walk all the way back. That was not fun. However, after that issue everything else was great. The room had a kitchen and washer and dryer. My friend actually used the washer and dryer even though we were only there for a night. It was a good size and the bathroom was pretty large. There's something magical about staying on the boardwalk. I don't think it's worth over $500 a night to be honest (and I paid double that), but for a one time experience it was a lot of fun. Or if you have money to burn then might as well.

Yelp
Our DVC home resort! It's been a while because we wanted to explore the latest Disney properties, it was a pleasure to stay back at the Boardwalk in 2023. Now this review is for Disney's BoardWalk "Villas". I stayed here last month with my Sister in law and her husband. They have never stayed at this hotel so I was excited to share some Disney magic with them. This hotel has a special spot in my heart. My brother passed September 1997. My wife & I owned DVC timeshare in Old Key West so my mom & I purchased a contract together at the Disney Boardwalk. My mom loved this hotel, we'd come every year during the summer as well as Christmas holidays. She was so excited to be a DVC owner, she used the points to go on Disney cruises! During the holidays, The Boardwalk Villas are a magical place. There are carolers singing by the Christmas tree on the lawn, families riding surry bikes, jugglers and other feats are happening on the property. The Boardwalk Villas lobby is very beautiful. There is a large Christmas tree as well as a small gingerbread house on display every year. The fireplace is always going along as well as the smell of the gingerbread house, the Boardwalk Villas lobby is just a nice space to sit and relax. But don't sit in that creepy chair in the lobby! December weather is warm enough for sweatshirts, Disney's BoardWalk Villas is a nice place to sit outside with your family and enjoy the festivities on the Boardwalk. The rooms have been refurbished and are very spacious. As a DVC owner, we've stayed in Disney's BoardWalk Villas studio, one bedroom and two bedroom configurations. Our family trips are growing as my oldest son is now married. The Boardwalk store is now a coffee bar? We had a system during our stay, I was up at 6am, my brother in law 6:30 and the sisters had the villa to get ready. My brother in law & I grabbed a coffee and walked the Boardwalk. It was a nice morning walk and this is the reason why you stay at Disney's BoardWalk Villas. You can take a boat to Hollywood Studios as well as take a boat or walk to EPCOT. Disney's Boardwalk Inn, I thank you for the twenty five+ years of family memories.

Yelp
Currently going through some renovation work but love this resort. Walking distance to Hollywood and Epcot. Service has been amazing and staff is super helpful and very welcoming for all you DVC folks. Welcome Home!

Yelp
Any enthusiasm I had for this brand has gone, gone, gone, gone. They killed it for us completely this time round. Money hungry/money grabbing from soulless conglomerates I can just about swallow but as guests who make pay days there has to be something in it for us and when that breaks, the illusion breaks, and when the illusion goes it's impossible to re capture. We were ripped off every step of the way and for the most part we got rudeness - I've separately received the awful experiences in their three parks. I also let Disney know just what I thought about them ripping me off but they won't reply. Fellow guests here were sort of animated that they could walk to Epcot, Hollywood Studios or hop on a skyline or boat so what - walk to Hollywood Studios to stand in queues for countless hours to feed Disney greed. No more. The rooms are good but at the price they should be faultless and fabulous. Honestly I don't want to say much more. I don't want to support the brand any more. I hate being ripped off. It's the most effective thing they do and many staff are demonstrably unhappy working for them.

Gary A.

Yelp
As much as I love DVC and we stay at the Boardwalk for the majority of our vacations, the renovations that are currently taking place at the Boardwalk are really a disappointment. Cosmetically, it looks great, but that's where it ends!!! The patio furniture couldn't be any more uncomfortable. Metal chairs with no cushions. The cooking pans are a pain to get clean. Do yourself a favor and get some non-stick pans. It would be easier on your guests and house cleaning staff!!! They've removed all of the ceiling fans, which forces you to use the AC more! I could go on and on, but I think you get the point! I'm not sure who the buyers are for outfitting the Boardwalk villas, but they could use a lesson or two about purchasing items that are easier to use!!! Buying cheap stuff will always come back to bite you!

Yelp
This review is during COVID (early May 2021) when the protocols were still in place. I'd give this resort one star, but the location bumps it up a notch. It's within walking distance of Epcot and Hollywood Studios or there's a "Friendship" boat to both parks if you prefer. The fact that Disney finally got rid of the creepy clown at the swimming pool helped, too. Their COVID protocols were inconsistent. The video game arcade for the kids was closed due to COVID, but the gym, which was right across from the arcade, was open. Most all of the food places were closed, so there were lines (and signs telling people to social distance). I didn't really notice much social distancing in the restaurant. But this place was so bad (in our opinion) that we actually cut our trip short and returned home early because of it. The "Friendship" boats weren't very friendly. A boat was docked waiting for guests as we headed down the ramp towards it. When we were almost to the boat, the man started untying the ropes. Yes, he saw us. We were that close to the boat. But it wouldn't wait another minute for us. And that wasn't the only problem we'd had with them being rude. The worst part was housekeeping & its need to "inspect" the room every day. DVC rooms are cleaned about once every 4-5 days, but they have to "inspect" (the housekeeper's words) every day. Not all guests in the vacation club go to Disney to do parks all day every day. I couldn't take my 3:30 nap a single day we were there, because that's when housekeeping would bang on the door insisting to "inspect" the room. Then it started at 9:00 in the morning. I understand the change since the Las Vegas shooting, but if you've been in the room & not seen an arsenal of weapons, you don't need to revisit to reinspect every single day. And I'd never had that problem at any other DVC resort on Disney property. It made us very uncomfortable. It certainly wasn't a relaxing experience. I'm not sure if it was just this resort, but the cast members weren't nearly as friendly as they'd been pre-COVID. The people in the gift shop weren't very helpful. One seemed like she was being put out of her way because she had to help me. We stood there waiting for her to come to the counter (she knew we were there). Then she wasn't very helpful when we had questions. After we'd checked out, I got a call that they'd found a pair of shorts in the room. We went back to get them, and the person actually argued with us over it. "No, they're pants, not shorts." Really? And yes, they were denim shorts. The room was nice, though. And it was quiet, even with being on the courtyard. We could hear the movie they showed at night in the courtyard, but not so loud it was annoying. Since almost everything on the Boardwalk was closed, there wasn't the crowd there usually is, so that helped, too. Beds were really comfortable. Just wish I'd have been able to sleep in them during the day. Needless to say, when the service is so bad you cut your vacation short, it's not a place you'll ever stay at again.

Yelp
My family and I stayed in a villa at the Boardwalk recently and overall really enjoyed our stay. The location is top notch. It was an easy walk to the International Gateway of Epcot. There are lots of dining options. You have the Boardwalk Bakery with sandwiches, breakfast options and desserts. Ample Hills Creamery has many different flavors of ice cream. The Trattoria offers character breakfast and Italian dinners. There is a walk up pizza window and margarita stand. The ESPN zone and brewery offer traditional American fare and Flying Fish is the more upscale restaurant. Plus there is a hotel bar and the Abracadabar No shortage of dining options. For the little ones they have a great playground area and a kiddie pool which is perfect for the toddler in your group. The regular pool has an awesome slide that looks like an old wooden roller coaster. So the location and amenities are great, why only 4 stars? First, the parking here seems especially far. Secondly, the room itself could use some updates. The kitchen seemed small and outdated. The appliances were definitely outdated. The tiles in the bathroom needed some TLC and there was a musty smell upon arrival. We just stayed at the Beach Club Villas last month and although the layout was almost identical the Beach Club definitely felt more new, clean, and modern.

Yelp
We stayed here in May 2022. I loved the resort and the location BUT we arrived in our room with water overflowing from the fridge and it took multiple trip to the front desk to fix it. The fridge was left turned off and the ice tray was upside down, first housekeeping response brought towels, BATH towels! They said front desk said we need towels. It was a hazard to my child as it was very slippery. The bell services manager stereotyped me as a delivery person, he kept insisting that no one left anything for us but I have multiple orders from small businesses that delivered and it took a while before they found it. The rest of the bell services team was amazing. We are DVC members and partially used our own points and rented from another owner for the 11th month booking advantage. We're doing Beach Club next!

Yelp
Decided to splurge the weekend of my 30th birthday and stayed at the Villas. Geez Louise this place was great. Because I'm used to going to the Jersey shore during the summer it was pretty cheesy staying at the Boardwalk Inn.. but it was so nice! & convenient. Who doesn't love walking to Epcot.. then through Epcot and grabbing a margarita on your way to the monorail to head to Magic Kingdom?! The pools are weird though. There's like a private pool.. and then an adult/mostly kid pool with a giant clown head that you can slide down. My 30 year old husband LOVED the slide and thought it was the best/creepiest thing ever. They do have noodles floating everywhere in the pool though for you which is nice. Seems dumb that kids are able to snag the tables by the bar though when they're in the pool when adults could be using them to you know.. drink. I know, I know, it's Disney. But still! Our room was a 1 bedroom villa and it was gorgeous. We had a view of the pool and actually could see the top of the Tower of Terror as well. We had a giant bathroom.. which was actually kind of 2 bathrooms? One had a shower, sink & toilet and the other had a sink and giant soaking tub. There was a full kitchen with a little dining area, a living room, and an AMAZING covered patio that had doors in both the master and the living room. The bedroom wasn't anything crazy but it had a super comfy bed and that was great for me. I will say the one thing I didn't care for were the hallways. They are LOOOOONG. And there's no windows. Thankfully they blast that AC to make you feel like you're in the Arctic. Especially when you do the 5 mile hike to your room and you're sweating. The carpets are a little outdated as well in the hallways but that's for sure Jersey Shore Boardwalk style! In the end we really enjoyed it. Don't know that I'd stay there again unless there was a crazy good deal cause boy is it expensive. But you can literally walk/ride a boat to 2/4 parks. Technically if you have park hopper you can easily get to 3 parks without using an actual bus or car. Not sure it's still worth the money though. But I do recommend if you decide to splurge for a weekend or so!

Yelp
My wife and I decided on staying at the Boardwalk villas after reading different reviews. It is a cool place and it transports you back to the Jersey Shore boardwalk that we know and love. They have everything from bakery, pizza, bars, dance halls. It is a nice set up. It probably isnt my favorite disney resort I have stayed in but it is solid. The rooms are pretty standard and I would recommend paying extra to get a balcony with a view of the lake/boardwalk. We were on the pool side and it isnt as nice of a view. Speaking of the pool, They have a small pool in the back. They also have a pool with some slides that was a little more lively. We didnt use these much but if you have a family they are solid. We did ride bikes around the boardwalk, ate ice cream, went to a bar, and even played some boardwalk games. All the fixings of a good boardwalk experience. Now I had to review the pizza since that is what we tried on the boardwalk the first night. If you are from ny/nj area the pizza was shockingly below average. I didnt expect much but damn. You can do a lot of things here but eating the pizza shouldn't be one of them. Anyway, I would probably come back since the location is good and it has a cool vibe to it. The buses allowed for easy access to all parks and attractions. It is not the most relaxing resort but it is a fun time so I would recommend.

Yelp
We have been waiting since 12 noon I asked the front desk when are room would be ready and they won't tell me it's 3Pm and I'm disappointed as to how they run this resort. I feel we made a mistake buying at Boardwalk. The front desk is not helpful.

Yelp
We rented out points to stay at a one bedroom. Amazing. Our balcony faced the resort pool (OPEN) and wow, what a view at night. The best part of the resort is location, location, location! Things we enjoyed! 1) Less than a 10 minute walk to an Epcot entrance (entry to World Showcase in between England and France) and the Skyliner - Epcot location to transfer to Disney Hollywood Studios and stopping at a couple of Disney hotel properties. For more of a wait, you also have the option to take a ferry boat ride to Epcot or Disney Studios right off the boardwalk. 2) Full kitchen. The plain reason we like staying at villas. We as a family prefer making our breakfasts (our kids are so picky) and preparing our brown paper lunch sacks to head into the parks. We go grocery shopping prior to check in to stock up on the fridge and splurge on one nice dinner on which ever park we choose for a memorable experience. Just a reminder if you do get a studio villa, there is no full kitchen. 1 or more bedroom villas have this accommodation. 3) Duh. The Boardwalk! Literally a boardwalk over looking one of Disney's lakes so beautiful, you have dinner and shopping options. Due to COVID, a lot of the places are temporarily closed or are gone for good - like the ice cream shop :(. The Flying Fish is closed for remodeling and our first night, we ate at the Italian Restaurant, Tutto Italia Restaurante. 4) Great workout facility. From the window the machines look great, but don't think I will have time to use them. Things we thought were "OK". 1) As much as we loved our view of our room, the location of our room would have not been our preference. We always seem to get a room at the end of a hallway with no easy access to an elevator. As mentioned in previous reviews, hallways are long to walk to the elevators. There was only one way in or out and for faster exit of the hotel was going down the stairs. 2) Now need to purchase Magic Bands. As of Jan. 1, 2021 guests no longer receive complimentary magic bands for you and your family. I had purchased mine a couple of days prior to arrival and when I asked to pick it up, I was told it would not be ready and would be sent in the next couple of days :/. Sucked, but instead received a hotel card that can be used as a hotel key and admissions ticket to the parks. Better not lose it! Other than me whining I think the perks outweighed the complaints. Our last visit to WDW (3 years ago) we stayed at the Animal Kingdom Resort - Jamba House. If I had to choose between the two I would pick Boardwalk Villas just because you be have better options when it comes to restaurants and walking distance from Epcot and the Skyliner to Hollywood Studios.

Yelp
Only downside to our stay was the woman working at Bell Services on Saturday afternoon/evening. Really gave us a hard time about the amount of groceries we ordered, stated we would have to bring them back to our room and said we shouldn't have ordered so much. What?!? We're big tippers and love to travel around the globe, so this was a first. The rest of the staff was lovely and the resort was spot on for our needs.

Yelp
This was my first time not only staying at Disney's Boardwalk Hotel but also my first time staying at a deluxe resort. I have been to Disney many of times but I have only stayed at moderate and value resorts, and a few times off the resort campus. I was fortunate enough to stay at a deluxe hotel this time because my sister and brother-in-law are DVC members and their home base is BoardWalk. First impression: beautiful hotel! Does not necessarily scream Disney like value and some moderate resorts do, but it was "magical" all the same. And if you are not staying at the hotel the boardwalk itself is a great destination while visiting Disney. We stayed on the Villa instead of the Inn side because we were registered as DVC guests just like my sister. The Villa basic studio room was very nice with plenty of space and a very nice kitchenette area. I thought the bed was very comfortable and the room looked very clean upon arrival. Also in typical Disney style all of the employees at the BoardWalk Hotel were extremely pleasant and helpful. Including the valet staff when we first arrived. Side note: my husband and I took the 16 hour drive from up north to save some bucks over flying. We were worried about our luggage and food that needed to be refrigerated upon arrival. NO worries at all! Disney keeps your bags in an air conditioned area and has refrigerators for guests who are too early for their check-in time. This way we dropped all of our stuff off, went to the park, and at night called the front desk to have all of our bags (including food products) delivered. Here is my BLAH side of my review and why I did not give it a full 5-stars. Unfortunately since we are new to the DVC game and were registered on the DVC side of the hotel, my husband and I did not realize our room would not be cleaned up everyday. They did give us new towels by request, but Disney is only required to clean the DVC rooms every 4th day. I know it is not that big of a deal because I am not that dirty of a person, but I do like coming back to a freshened up room and a made up bed when I am on vacation. Makes me feel a little more special. I am assuming it is different on the Inn side of the hotel but I am not really sure. Also, is the price of this hotel worth it over other Disney properties?? Ewwww depends in my opinion. Because less people stay at an astronomically priced hotel that means less people waiting for the bus so that of course is a perk, but is it worth it when you need to spend money on a family with a good amount of kids who could care less about the room? Probably not. I would say you really need to weigh how much time will be spent hanging out at the hotel/pool compared to going on adventures in the parks. If you just need a bed but want Disney perks, save yourself a ton of money and don't worry about not having a kitchenette in your room.

Yelp
I loved staying here. The resort is literally an attraction within itself. It has clubs, restaurants , the rooms had soft beds and great AC. We even saw people performing in the hall ways to entertain guests. We stayed in a cottage so we had a private pool which was always empty and I thought that was amazing. Breakfast was breath taking, there was a person at an omelette station preparing the breakfast fresh for everybody . Drinks and food was just great I would love to stay here again the customer service was amazing .

Yelp
Absolutely a great hotel, but it's not like beach club. The cast members working here are hit or miss when it comes to friendliness. Villas are great, but seem to lack features other villa resorts do. Overall, it is a great place to stay while visiting Disney.

Yelp
I've been staying at the Boardwalk for our family trips for the past 17 years or so and I can't get enough of it. It's Disney without an excess of screaming children. The bar scene is fun and the bakery delivers with tasty treats. If you do have small ones (or adults who pretend they're still small ones) the main pool is always a fun vibe.

Yelp
We have been Vacation club member for over 20 yrs staying here regularly. I find it incredibly disappointing that at a time when every other resort is stepping up there service to accommodate the reduced number of guest the Boardwalk service has greatly declined. See the pictures of our pool view room below (everyday all day). The skyline broke down, overflowing the bot transportation and wasting hours of our time trying to get to Studios which is 5 minutes away. Our daughter broke her leg right before stringing and is in a wheel chair, which apparently the parks don't do anything to accommodate anymore. We were told she has to have a mental disability or unable to move because is is too big or paralysis. Disney has not reduced our over inflated monthly dues, increased the service at its parks but instead continues to build more resorts, charge more for everything at treat their guest poorly. I would recommend staying away from Disney until they figure out customer service again.

Yelp
Whoever was on duty at concierge on Sep 16, 2021 was the most disrespectful Disney staff I have ever met. This lady kept ignoring my questions and pretented she didn't understand and then stared at her screen. Her ignorance really "impressed" me.

Yelp
Nice hotel and great location! Stayed at the DVC side. Felt very clean and safe during the covid lockdown. My only complaint is 2 of the employees I encountered weren't the typical, friendly, 'happy to help' employees...a bit grouchy in fact. One at the front Desk and the other was a bit rude to my friend who had her service dog with her. 4 days into our stay he aggressively informed her in the elevator that dogs aren't permitted. Despite the fact the had certificates and was checked in. Other than those 2 employees every was more than helpful.

Yelp
Just completed a six night stay at the Boardwalk (8/12 to 8/18) and could not have been more pleased with the resort and its ambiance. The staff were all warm and friendly. Nightly activity on the Boardwalk (weather permitting) provided a relaxing change from the crowds and hurried pace at the theme parks. If I had a complaint it would only be the amount of time it now takes to reach Hollywood Studios. What should only be a 10 minute walk takes 20 minutes. Construction on Disney's upcoming gondola systems requires you to circumvent the construction area and you feel as if your in a maze. Other than this, the resort provides two pools, one full for families, slides and staff activities and another smaller, more quiet and relaxing one. I can see why most rooms will not be available till 4pm, and don't be surprised if they aren't, I don't think people want to leave.

Yelp
This hotel is absolutely gorgeous! Was in town on a business trip and had the family come down for the weekend. Our room was beautiful!! The hotel is so clean and the staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. Would absolutely go back again.
