We stayed here as a family of 6, 5 adults and 1 2year old. We stayed in a joining room as requested when we arrived which gave us more room for our little one to run around while we were getting ready. We stayed in the 50’s 60’ building I think and had the jungle book character right outside our room which our daughter loves seeing everyday. The rooms are very spacious and well designed everything we needed for our stay. Location was great as we were a very short walk to the main pool, dining court and to the sky line which is fantastic. Lots of great food choices for when we did want to eat in the hotel and one of our party members is a vegetarian/vegan and he didn’t struggle to find food choices. Overall our stay was pleasant and we all had the best time. We look forward to our next visit.

Pop Century Resort was THE MOST AMAZING RESORT we have ever visited! My family and I loved EVERYTHING about it. It was PERFECT. From the staff to the venue to the room it rates a 10/10. Clean, modern, kid friendly, quiet, convenient, this Disney Resort is the best option for a family vacation. Our favorite part was the Disney Skyliner connecting the resort to Hollywood Studios. The buses to Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom are so convenient and run throughout the entire hours of park operation. The cafeterias food was cheaper than any other Disney park in the area and DELICIOUS. They cook everything and have options for any diet. The gift shop had so many options, my kids spent their entire life savings on the Disney Pins and everyday they found new ones they loved! THANK YOU POP CENTURY RESORT FOR GIVING US THE BEST LIFE LONG MEMORIES POSSIBLE. 🫶🏻💙

Google
We had a wonderful experience recently. Cast member Sinnie and Cast member Jenna were very nice and gave my children stickers. Sinnie also gave my 2 year old gummy bears to try to make him smile during a meltdown. We loved the pools and close access to the skyliner. The first floor was very convenient since we had the stroller with us. The room was spacious enough and the bathroom was renovated and clean. The housekeeping staff were wonderful, especially Jean who checked in periodically and brought extra towels. We definitely felt the magic here ✨

Google
We loved our stay at Pop Century. We were in the 80s rooms. Theming is great. Room was clean and with the Murphy bed did not feel cramped at all. The walk to the skyline is only 5-7min which is not bad at all. That is the biggest perk imo of staying here. Doe the cost, well worth it. It is easy to take and transfer to get to HS or Epcot. Cafeteria was convenience and prices are what you expect at a disney resort. Definitely would stay here again

Google
Location is great, just get up early if you want to rope drop off the skyliner. Rooms are being updated right now, so some construction during the day. They all are clean and comfortable. We like it because you can get a room with no connecting door.

Google
Overall, great hotel. Clean with a good location. I have 2 slight complaints. The lighting in the room is bright or super bright. No options for a dim light for bedtime. And the garbage/recycling bins, they are not practical what so ever. They might be able to hold 1 or two items. Definitely not big enough for a family of 3. But we would stay there, again.

Google
Great place. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. I enjoyed the connectivity to the other resorts. Was a little difficult to get clean towels on one of the days. My main complaint is the small refillable cup. It was a very long walk from our room to the eatery where you fill it up. By the time we got back to room it was either flat or empty. Everything else was great. I would stay there again, but definitely will bring our own beverages.

Wow, what a great resort for all. I was solo and felt completely safe, secure, and comfortable staying here. It's big! I stayed in the 90s area, which was a fair distance from everything. However, if you take the car park path, this shortens the walk to the transportation and dining area. Speaking of which was great, a decent choice of foods with the expected but also with more nutrient options such as roast chicken or salmon and vegetables. The pricing was reasonable, and everything tasted great. The rooms are a great size and design, and the only noise on the 1st floor was the toilet being flushed, which was not disruptive. The storage is also great, especially in the bathroom area. A separate partition for this area and the toilet made this a great room for friends to stay. A cooler is in the room, which can be turned up to keep drinks and, in my case, leftovers cold. The skyliner is the extra bonus, and I loved this addition. Lots of frequent transport to the parks which were maximum 15 mins away. I would definitely stay again. Thank you, Pop century staff

Yelp
I visit Disney World often as a South Florida resident and when I'm on a budget this is my first choice. The price is the same or even sometimes less than off-property hotels in the area. Being an official Disney Resort, however, you get a lot of excellent benefits. Free parking, free transportation to the parks and Disney Springs, early entry, and general good service. I have always felt Disney hotels offer great customer service, the entire staff are courteous and friendly. This particular hotel is one of my favorites for the theme and skyliner. The Skyliner is an aerial transportation method that takes you from the hotel to Hollywood Studios, Epcot, and a few other hotels. Even when the line is long it moves very fast because the system is constantly running. You can also easily get to surrounding resorts like the Riviera, which means you have more options for dining. Rooms were refurbished a few years ago and I like the design and layout. Beds are comfortable, grounds are well kept, and everything is clean. There is one large pool along with a few smaller ones scattered throughout the resort. The main dining hall has a lot of great options, most of them I've tried and found to be better than park food.

Yelp
First time staying at Pop Century after having stayed at the Art of Animation 7x... ...comparing the two; this one is not as nice but not bad for the rates you pay. The hotel overall is clean, the room had good space, and a lot of storage for clothes, bags, etc. It has three pools but they're just basic; don't expect anything fancy. And the convenience of having the Skyliner right there to catch to Hollywood Studios & Epcot. With this convenience also come inconveniences... such as, buses don't run to those two parks unless the Skyliner isn't running. Due to the storms, they happened to stop the Skyliner so when we were about to leave Epcot, we see a sign stating so. We are sent to the main entrance to go catch a bus. We were in line for 30-40 minutes, and no buses show up. We called Disney Transportation and the rep we spoke to, Katrina, was far from sounding apologetic and said they wouldn't send a bus even though there were 30+ people with kids waiting in line. That the Skyliner had reopened and to go back to it. What happened to the folks that couldn't go back into the park because they had purchased a 1-day ticket? I won't keep elaborating on what happened next since I wanted to make a point about this hotel not running buses to those two parks UNLESS the Skyliner was down. The lack of communication and empathy from the Disney staff was abysmal -- fine tune your customer service a bit, specifically in the Transportation department/team. P.S. The hotel tried to make things better by giving us $50 off from our bill -- basically for having wasted two hours of our night walking around and waiting in lines with a toddler. LOL!!!

Yelp
Popcentury is definitely one of my top favorite Disney resorts to stay at. Bonus that it is also a value resort. We came here for one night on the most recent visit for my son's first Disney trip. we knew we wanted to go to Epcot and Hollywood Studios so skyliner was absolutely the best way to go. We checked in a little early and had the requested pack and play in our room upon arrival. The staff was helpful at check in and the room was clean! We will be back for you PopCentury!

Yelp
Listen. The outside is like a days inn. Very off putting. The cafeteria is literally a cafeteria. But man oh man Disney tries to make it so nice. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Plenty of space for storage. You even get an alexia and the Disney treatment of having your name on the tv welcome screen. Tea, coffee maker, iron, pool towels, etc. The pool is warm. The cafeteria though off putting has everything you need. Even the lobby has a tv area for the kids. Skyliner is so easy to take and convenient. All the buses we took to the parks were easy to access and came frequently. I can't give this place 5 stars cause it's obviously not 5 star luxury but Disney makes value very special and nice. Had a great stay.

Yelp
Disney's Pop Century Resort is a fantastic choice for experiencing Disney magic on a budget. The rooms may not be the most glamorous, but they are comfortable and clean, providing everything you need for a restful stay after a day at the parks. While the resort lacks fancy dining options, it makes up for it with a convenient quick service restaurant, a bar, and a well-stocked gift shop. One of the highlights is the inclusion of bus and Skyliner transportation, making it easy and fun to get to the parks and other Disney resorts. Kids love the arcade, children's activities and the three pools. Those provided great entertainment on our non-park days. As a value resort, Pop Century can be a bit crowded, but since we spent most of our time at the parks, it wasn't a significant issue. The friendly cast members and fun, nostalgic theming throughout the property add to the charm and overall experience.

Yelp
More like 2.5 Stars. My friend and I chose to stay at Pop Century due to convenience and price, but we probably should have paid more for a nicer hotel. The basic room was about $200 a night, but it's giving cheap motel vibes. After checking in at their front desk, the employee gave us a map of where our room was and dang that was such a far walk! First mistake was not getting a bellhop. The "resort" is too spread out, when I think it would have probably been better built as a tall building. The room was incredibly tiny. We got a double room and the second bed pulls down from the wall. It's kind of inconvenient to not be able to use the table unless you fold the bed up. In addition to the spacing issue, they only clean the rooms every other day. Also, their staff was kind of rude. One morning when it was cleaning day, they started banging on the door while we were still asleep to see if they could clean. Mind you, it was only like 8am and we were sleeping in that day. My friend answered and told them we were still sleeping. They come back about an hour later and peek through the windows and still knock on our door. For the price we paid, it would have been better to stay at a nicer, non-Disney hotel in the vicinity and just uber to the parks or maybe their more luxurious resorts are worth it.

Yelp
Pop Century is a value hotel right on the skyline line. Don't expect all the glitz of the moderate or deluxe hotels. The rooms are small but clean. Some are newly renovated. The big draw for me was the value and the location. It's a big hotel and buildings are pretty spaced out. It was fun to just walk around and check out all the different decorations. The lobby is nice and inviting. There's a standard food court and gift shop. The main pool is just to the back of the main area. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Bell service was quick. The rooms provide all the basic amenities. There's a pull down Murphy bed but not a lot of room. The Skyliner is just a few minute walk from the lobby. It was great access to Hollywood Studios and Epcot. Amazingly convenient. Will I stay here again ? For sure. Worth it.

Yelp
We stayed here in September with a couple of friends. We wanted to visit the Epcot. All the hotels were very expensive in the area. Our research showed that there were 9 value hotels in the area, and the POP was one of them. It was rated a 3 star hotel. It is an old resort and has been updated but needs more updating. However, it had quite a few amenities that would work for us for the 3 days we were going to be there. Our room was small, but it was clean, close to the Skyline, a comfortable bed, a TV, a desk with chairs, and a good-sized bathroom. There were complimentary items such as shampoo, conditioner, and soap, a coffee-maker, and a mini-fridge. Plus, you could buy breakfast and snack items at the resort. We paid $200 per night, which was high for what we got, but the others were way higher per night. It's Disney World! The grounds are fun to explore with all the statues of Disney characters, especially my favorites, Lady and the Tramp. The buildings are painted in pastel colors. It's pretty at night with the lights. Having the Skyliner stop at this resort was a huge deal. All in all, considering the pluses and minuses, we would probably stay here again.

Yelp
Who's ready to POP into Disney's Pop Century Resort? I am! Welcome to one of Walt Disney World's most popular value resorts! Themed after various decades (50-90s), you'll feel like you're in another era when walking around this resort! As soon as you enter this resort, Disney packs in the fun! Almost every time I was in the lobby, there was something fun for all ages to experience! Whether it was throwback dance parties or surprise meet and greets with members of the fan five, there is always something! We enjoyed trading pins with the Disney Vacation Club workers- they are extremely kind! While the exterior of this resort sports a retro look, the rooms have been newly renovated! During my most recent stay I was pleasantly surprised at the amount of outlets that had been added to the room! Everything was clean, and while the minimalist design was nice, I miss the old theming! Honestly though, how much time are you really spending inside your hotel room when you're at Disney World? ;) Now onto the food- "Everything POP Shopping & Dining" will have your basic cafeteria! Don't be fooled, though! While the menu has basic meal offerings, Pop Century has some delicious exclusive desserts! I really enjoyed the Tye Dye cheese cake and Key Lime Pie! The gift shop attached to the lobby will come in handy! They had very cheap essentials when it came to first aid needs! Of course, I couldn't help myself in buying a few souvenirs as well! A great perk that comes with Pop Century is quick access to the Skyliner! This will take you to Epcot (International Gateway entrance) and Hollywood Studios! We also used this to travel to the Riviera Resort when we had dining reservations at Topolino's Terrace. Something we did learn, though, is that there is NO bus option when traveling to Epcot or Hollywood Studios (unless the Skyliner is down!). So, if you have a fear of heights or traveling via sky- be prepared! My biggest (and maybe only) complaint with Pop Century is... the potential of school/tour groups. BE PREPARED FOR LARGE HOARDS OF TEENS! They mostly cause trouble inside of the actual parks, but typically these companies/schools book value resorts like the 'Pop' for their trip. This has nothing to do with the service and quality of Pop Century, as Disney does a great job. Just know you might encounter these groups. I think it is also important to note that while they can be annoying, I have never had an actual noise issue when trying to sleep! So, if you are on a budget, but still want Disney-quality when it comes to lodging, then Pop Century is a great place to stay! I think the Skyliner is a huge perk and the theming amps up the overall magic of your trip! Kids will enjoy walking around this resort, seeing the larger than life toys and characters! The Hippy Dippy Pool is also a great amenity located just outside the lobby! Peace out, Pop!

Yelp
My family and I stayed here for 5 days, 4 nights. It's a wonderful place if you're looking for a cheaper price point lodging. There were 7 adults and while having 4 adults stay in one room. It was tight but manageable. We had connecting rooms with the rest of our party, which helped with moving around. We didn't care much for having space since we spent most of our time at the parks. We were only in our rooms to shower and sleep. Checking in was a breeze as everything was done thru the WDE app. I didn't have to go to the Classic Hall (basically their lobby and where the food court is). As soon as we entered the resort, we were instantly greeted with Disney Magic as the security checkpoint literally said "Welcome Home"! I was worried we wouldn't have enough charging ports but there were plenty! We did book preferred standard rooms in the 70s area, bldg. 10 which was super close to the bus transportation and Classic Hall; it was a further walk to the skyliner though. There's a queen bed and a queen Murphy bed. There's also a beverage cooler, coffee maker, iron, blow dryer - the usual hotel stuff. There's shampoo, conditioner, body wash for use attached to the bathroom wall for use. Housekeeping doesn't come every day, instead they come every other day. The only unfortunate thing was that a live beetle snuck itself into one of the clean towels that housekeeping left when they cleaned our rooms so my mom had an unexpected surprise after her shower. Other than that, everything was seamless. Pro tip: the line to get on the skyliner can get really long! If rope dropping is on your agenda, have someone in your party already queue up so you're not waiting forever to get on the skyliner. Also, if you're staying in the 70s bldg 10, park your car at the 90s parking lot since it's a much shorter walk!

Yelp
Customer service was great and staff were very friendly. We arrived at the lobby and waited in line with others. When it was our turn we got checked in on a tablet. We had a room on the top floor. We noticed that there were mini bugs that fly in each time we opened the door. Rooms were kept clean.

Yelp
I stayed at Disney's Pop Century Resort for the first time last week. It's honestly a really nice hotel for the price you pay, the rooms are the same exact style that Disney has at their All Star Resorts on property. Don't book here expecting a 5 star resort or something like the Grand Floridian, but this resort offers 2 pools, clean rooms, free luggage services, buses to the parks and Disney Springs and Disney Skyliner service to Epcot and Hollywood Studios. The theme of the hotel is decades over the years and their pop culture - ranging from the 1950's to today. Your room will be in one of the decades themes. Overall, a great resort to stay in if you want something less expensive, on Disney property and if you want to experience the use of the Skyliner.

Yelp
A disney hotel that basically has the essentials and whatnot that you'll need while you're here. It's an insanely large hotel with some amazingly detailed room themes that range from the 50s to the 90s and more! Online check in is offered here so you can go directly to your room if you set it up and bypass the front desk. This hotel has a massive cafeteria area with so many options of foods to choose from when you start or end your day from the parks. There are a multititude of pools, all of which are heated and feel amazing after a long day. They have a nice bar at the main pool and I loved the drinks I got, definitely the right amount and refreshing on a hot day like it was. I loved how clean the rooms were and how updated and refresh they look since they had the overall a few years ago. Overall an amazing hotel with some super friendly cast members. I now remember how much I love staying on Disney property!

Yelp
We stayed here for 5 nights and I would give it 4.5 stars. For a value resort at Disney world I would say it is completely worth it. I got a promo for 5 nights or more you get 20% off and since it was low season in September it was around $150usd a night which is very reasonable as you get more perks staying on Disney resort. It was very clean, lots of shelvings and hooks for a family of 4. We stayed on the ground floor which is very convenient with kids and double stroller. We were able to park free on the resort, check in online was simple. The resort is spread out, it was an easy walk to the bus stop to get shuttle to the parks (which came very often and never had to wait long) and the sky liner was a bonus to get to Epcot or Hollywood studios. Such a nice view. We had the standard room with the Murphy bed and even though the rooms are a bit small it is manageable. I enjoyed staying here.

Yelp
I think the fact that the skyliner is connected to this resort at an easily walkable distance is what makes it the best budget friendly place to stay at Disney! Buses are right out front and the skyliner access is a quick walk through the cafeteria, then past the pool. The front desk service has always been friendly and competent, thank you guys! We've always checked in with no issues. The rooms are clean enough for a budget resort, but I did notice during my last stay, that there were a bunch of gnats all around the corner part of the ceiling in my room plus the bathroom, but my friends did not have any in theirs thankfully. I had to take tissues to catch them, but they overall didn't try to fly on me or anything. The bathroom fan is motion activated which is not ideal, but fine because I get that some careless people may leave the fan on all day and night. The beds are suuuper comfortable which is why I overlook other things about the room. I sleep so well in them every night! Housekeeping only stops by every other day FYI! There is a large cafeteria with plenty of seating and the ability to order food ahead using the disney world app. The food is really not that bad for a budget resort. The souvenier shop has medicine and other small things you may need during your stay too. There is also an arcade with tons of games, but I barely see anyone in it ever lol and a caricature artist right next to the arcade entrance.

Yelp
Disney's Pop Century Resort is a great value as it is very reasonably priced and has good access to all of the parks via the skyliner and bus service. The rooms are compact but very functional. The rooms can sleep four with the Murphy Bed, but two of the occupants should definitely be on the smaller side as the room becomes cramped when the Murphy Bed is pulled down. The room also has a small fridge which is helpful, particularly if you need to store drinks and snacks. The food court on property is is open both early and late which makes it very convenient.

Yelp
This was our first time at Disney and I was floored by the hospitality. The crew here were all so amazing and kind. We got in early and were able to check in our bags and hang out until our room was ready. The pool area was so cute and the grounds were constantly maintained. The food was not bad either. My kids are older so I felt the theme here was perfect for us. I would definitely stay here again.
google avatar

Julia A.

Yelp
What an awful experience we had! The rooms are super cheap with Motel 6 vibe we got charged $300+ rate per night, the food options are outrageously bad - worse than McDonalds at a price of Four Seasons. Literally everything is deep fried and has the same quality as gas station food with the only "healthy" option being conventional apple slices that probably have the same amount of pesticides as the rubber tire! What are we teaching our kids? Shame on you - greedy Disney corporation. Don't believe me ?

Yelp
Second time staying here and we are doing it up amazingly! We booked a preferred room. We were told that the check in time was 3:00, but the room was not ready. A trip to the front desk, resulting in getting a room key, and a room number, but I practically had to beg for it. The preferred room was kind of a joke. Conveniently located, yes, but no bigger than a standard room. The amenities are pretty good though. The staff is courteous, friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, just absolutely stellar. Unfortunately, they are also overwhelmed because of the HUGE influx of guests staying here. Rude people who act entitled over everything. This location has gotten only more crowded because of the addition of the Skyliner, which is convenient, but not a perfect system. Not sure if we will stay here next time, but we did enjoy the stay despite the issues we experienced.

Alexandria C.

Yelp
As first time Disney goers we didn't know what to expect. We were a tad disappointed in our pick but that's just our personal preference. We arrived a tad earlier than expected so our room wasn't ready. But when we got back from Disney springs we went to find our room and ohh boy was it far from the lobby and buses. We called luggage to eventually have no one pick up so we walked all the way to retrieve our luggage to wait 10 minutes for nothing. They informed us they delivered our bags and water to a different room. Not all of our bags had luggage locks so I was a little worried. After waiting for 20 minutes they brought it to the luggage area on a cart for us to take with us. Everything seemed to be accounted for but could have been so much worse. The next day we went to the luggage area again because our stroller rental forgot the drink caddy. Well it took 15 minutes and multiple people to tell us they don't have it and they wouldn't accept a drop off like that. A front desk lady went into their area and found it for us which was just irritating. Had my name and everything on it. Everything else was okay, the food was not our favorite and we had to figure out why our drink cups weren't working the second day. But again a cast member messed that up. If we ever come back to Disney this will not be a resort we stay at. Ohhh and the smells walking around were gross. Idk if it was pet friendly but it smelled like dog poo around our building. And before I forget the television is massive. Sure that could be a positive but with a 2 year old it was near impossible to turn it on when he was asleep because the brightness was too much.

Yelp
Came here March 2023 and was a lil worried with it being a "budget" hotel option at Disney World. It was fantastic!! Disney has incredibly high standards for service and cleanliness and even though it wasn't a luxury option didn't mean that it wasn't fun, had everything we needed and we had a great time. We were able to get early entry and to all of the parks and we had easy access to Hollywood Studios and Epcot via the gondola sky rides which we loved riding in. We would leave first thing in the morning, get early entry and hit all of the main rides and attractions, come back to the room, swim, nap, rest, change or whatever and head back to the park for the evening. It was a great landing pad. I even lost my Beatz out by the pool and they had them at the front desk when I went looking for them!!! What good news!!! Thank you, thank you!! The only downside was that the food was a cafeteria and not a lot of options. Since we weren't there most of the time it wasn't really a big deal, but I didn't care for it at all. The way I offset that was by getting Instacart on my phone and would buy our own healthy snacks, instant coffees, creamers, diet sodas, and sunscreen, etc and have them delivered to us. There is a fridge in the room but they are very SMALL!! So we ordered often for the week and packed a lot of it with when we headed out daily. You can also do the same with food delivery. We had the rooms cleaned every other day and would come back to spotless rooms.

Yelp
The gondolas!!!!! Staying on property with kids this is the most fun we have ever had We love the gondolas!! We love a fresh clean room

Yelp
I stayed here for one night on Monday with 3 of my friends and I enjoyed my stay in the 80's section! It is obviously on Disney property, so getting back from Epcot was conventient with the skyliner. The food in the cafeteria was pretty average and the shop is very cute & has a lot of options. The room was nice and was perfect for one night; the water pressure in the shower was great and the beds were very clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again and I hope to get a different decade next time!

Yelp
Best hotel in USA for sure and by the way I'm 8 years old beds wer so covey and they have a menu frig and sky liners to! I would renamed coming here.

Yelp
For being one of the more budget-friendly Disney properties you can have access to I'm giving out a 3.75/5 rating overall. +1 - The staff is generally helpful and friendly +1 - Location is great, ESPECIALLY being able to get right on the Skyliner +1 - Cleanliness and amenities are about what you'd expect for the cost of it +0.75 - The look and feel of the whole experience is fun, especially getting to walk down memory lane in the lobby area with nostalgia Will definitely be coming back here for when we plan to go to any of the Disney parks.

Yelp
The Pop Century Resort is reminiscent of the roadside motels that you find when you drive down places like the old Route 66. The rooms are comfortable but don't expect luxury when you stay here. The room I stayed in has a queen bed and another queen bed that pulls down from the wall (like a Murphy bed). As far as food is concerned, there is a combination shop and cafeteria-style/food court type of dining available. They have a decent food selection and the food is okay. I got the cheddar burger and it was good. The chicken strips were a bit dry but edible. The staff is what makes this place great. When I got here, I couldn't open my door with the app. I had to call guest services and they had to send someone up. Come to find out that the door locks were iffy with the app. They brought up the key cards for us to use. I would consider this place again if I come back to Disney World.

Yelp
We stayed at this value resort for our honeymoon during COVID and we have ZERO regrets! We had originally booked a hotel offsite but decided to splurge a little more to stay onsite and I am so happy we did! It truly adds to the magic and the convenience of the skyliner is unmatched! We were assigned to the top floor in a corner room in building 6. It was a quiet location and only a short walk to the main building. The walk to the skyliner was quick enough & easy to locate. There is enough to look at as you walk that it goes by fast! They allow for you to decorate your window. I purchased my deco ahead of time, packed it in my suitcase & had so much putting these up! We always received big smiles from the staff and service was spectacular. The food was decent enough. I liked the breakfast! We preferred to eat in the parks or at Disney Springs. Everything was thoroughly cleaned and well stocked. The room was perfect for us. I could see how it might feel cramped for anything over a family of 4, though. We will 100% stay here again and look forward to it!

Yelp
Pop century is currently my favorite hotel. Why? First the price. It's a bit more pricier then the all star value hotel, but still way less then the moderate like art of animation. Maybe 20$ more a night depending on when. But why pay more for another value and not just go to the all-star? Because this is a moderate value. A what? This hotel is nearly a moderate at the price of a value. Sure, you don't have closed door like other hotel higher up, it's still the door that open to the outdoor like all star. But the confort of the room is above all star, more space, and all renovated. I've been 4 times to pop now, this time in a wheelchair accessible room with a bath. The space of the room is bigger since the exterior wall is flat instead of recessed in. We could easily Parc the ecv inside by the door, then have the wheelchair go around both bed (we used both the bed and the wall bed that you pull-down). Difference is with a wheelchair room, there's no door between the toilet and the bath like the other room but that's alright, it would be hard to navigate with a wheelchair. Both bed were of equals comfort which is very nice. We asked for extra blanket and it was delivered fast. I opt-out of the housekeeping. They still will do daily checkup for security, and if you take out the thrash or towel, they will empty and replace. You can anytime request more towel or anything you need and they'll deliver very fast. As for noise level, this depend heavily on location. All pool side view will have more noise because eof the music and people going this way. Music is turned off at 11pm when the pool is close, but you'll still have many people up which can make noise. Also ground level will have more foot traffic and also more noise from upper floor. This can be said of any hotel in fact, it's a normal setup. I always bring ear plug specially for that. I also request a fan I can use. It's normally a big square fan that will move the air perfectly. It also cover a bit of the noise. A complaint I have is with wheelchair accessible room. The door is the same for every room. It means heavy door (that weirdly have no protection surrounding it thus you see outside from the contour of the door). And the door automatically close like all room. Which mean entering in the room alone in a wheelchair is impossible. I had the hold the door open. There should be a button you can activate with magicband that open and close the door like other wheelchair door. This should also be done in all wheelchair restroom across the Parc and resort cause the same problem occur. Then you have the pools. All pools across Disney are heated pool. Normally, it's just ok but this time, it was too hot I'm pretty sure it's not heated right now, it's 48 degree celcius out there so enough to heat the pool a lot, plus a lot of people in it also eating it (and peeing? You go small children after all). It does refresh, just less then expected. On other trip, it was cooler so I blame the weather. To eat, you have everything pop which is a cafeteria style restaurant with many choice. You can have more information on that venue on Yelp. The theming is 40s to 90s. You'll see big wheel, play doh and other stuff from this era, and the music will also be from those period. Theres a lot of resort activity like treasure hunt, sing along, trivia, campfire, movie by the pool, etc. You can check everything there is to do right on the pop website or directly on site. This resort is also connected by a small bridge to art of animation. While you can't access the pool there, you can still access the shop, diner and playground around the resort. It is a very nice theme resort around animation thus cars, little mermaid, lion King, etc. You also now have access to the skyline on the same bridge. This get you to Carribean beach resort, then you can go to either Riviera then Epcot or to Hollywood studio. Normally when the sky liner is active, the bus to these station aren't active so you must take the skyliner. All in all, I like this resort cause it's not too big (the further you are from the bus and main entrance is like maximum 5 min walk), the food does the job for a quick late night dine, there's a lot to do, it's as cozy as a moderate but at a value price, it's freshly renovated, it's well located in the Epcot area meaning shorter bus ride to attraction and the theming is just wonderful. Also, the ac still work properly at pop. At least in my room, I could lower to 62 where in all star music, I was stuck at 69 minimum. The lobby, shop and diner are also well climate vs all star and many other Disney location recently.

Yelp
This hotel shouldn't be part of Disney for many reasons. I'm a single mom and they tried to saddle me with the building farthest from the skyliner to walk with my 2 year old. When I asked to be moved they just switched me to the other side and acted indignant, same distance. When we checked In they never gave my son his happy birthday button, the whole reason for our visit. He got to watch all the other kids at Disney be told happy birthday constantly for 3 days but not him. When I asked for any pamphlets on the parks, the woman checking us in acted like I had requested that she be my personal travel agent. One evening, the bus driver slammed the door in our face as I held my sleeping son with one hand and attempted to fold my stroller with the other. This is not the Disney experience we are used to. I would save the money and stay at the cheapest Disney hotel possible since the service and consideration, has gone so far down that you will never get the value a Disney resort should be especially at Pop Century. We encountered many of the client facing roles that behaved bizarre, annoyed, and rude. However the service staff at the restaurant and the maids were very considerate, polite, and accommodating, trying to go above and beyond to interact with me and my child which I appreciated. They had cleaned the elevator in our building with some cleaning product that I kid you not, could practically knock a person out. We actually had to cover mine and my son's face with clean rags from the room to get to and from our room. The markup is laughable for hiking distance access to skyliner and the same dated interiors as All Star. We will keep our annual passes and stay off property from here on out.

Yelp
So nice Staff was so polite very clean and has a bathroom. Love the design of the carts

Yelp
Hotel was clean from the rooms to the ground and the staff was very friendly. The room was tiny and I wished they had a microwave in the room. It would also be nice if they had a Keurig and not a standard coffee machine. We didn't really enjoy the resort amenities since we were there for the parks. I loved that the Skyliner was on property. It made morning feel not as rushed. I would stay here again if we came back to Disney.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite Disney value resorts! It's so nice to be able to stay on site and have free transportation to and from the parks while still staying in the disney bubble. The theming at this resort is so cute, it's themed by different eras. The pools are amazing and at the larger pool they do special activities as well! The food court is nice after a long day at the park. This resort has bus transportation and the skyliner, which is an added bonus. The skyliner is like a ride of its own. The beds are comfy at the resort and you have a mini drink cooler in your room as well as a coffee maker. I am a travel planner that specializes in Disney vacations feel free to reach out to me! Yelp
Well, I only got to spend out last night here on our recent trip, but I really enjoyed the resort. I checked out of our other resort and drove over to Pop. I was able to park in the front area while the room was prepared. The cast members were super helpful and friendly when I asked if I could leave my car key for my friend so she could move the car later when the room was ready and I was in the parks. They were most accommodating and locked it in the valuables safe. They have a really great gift shop here, and it had several items i was interested in that I had seen elsewhere. They also have a great selection of snacks if you need to stock up your room. There's a food area as well, but I didn't need to drop in there. There are busses and the skyliner that provide transportation to the parks. The grounds could use a little more signage to point you in the right direction to the skyliner as I sort of wandered a ways before getting to it. I transferred over to the Epcot line and was on my way. My friend (thankfully for my poor feet) requested a first floor room in the 50s. Bright colors and fun cartoonish designs lit he way. There are several pools, and while time didn't allow us to enjoy them, I explored them for a hopeful return in the future. This is an economy hotel, so the rooms are smaller and basic, but for just my friend and I, it was perfect. The sprinklers are super loud and run at night, so i really thought we were getting a downpour at one point, but it was just those. It was soothing, but again, very loud. They were also doing some construction near us and worked at night, overall keeping it very quiet, but I did hear some of the lift noises. I'm excited to hopefully make it back soon, and will certainly keep the value of Pop in mind.

Yelp
Nice!!! We stayed here for a week for disneyworld. Convenient shuttles to the parks and Skyliner. Front desk is helpful and responsive. There's luggage assistance and they will even hold your items after checkout till you need them. There's a dining area and gift shop that we didn't like very much but that's ok. There's pools. Rooms are clean but tiny. Kinda sad the housekeeping is every other day we kept running out of towels. Cute decor around the property and in the rooms. 10/10!!!! Would stay again.

Yelp
As far as a budget hotel in Disney it is ok, kinda bland nothing great but ok for one stay wouldn't repeat it

Yelp
Stayed here with my family and friends for 10 days and New Year's day! I personally really enjoyed staying here, the buses to the park were very consistent, the food was good (not including the price. but it's Disney World... I wouldn't expect anything else...), and I loved all of the different themes of the buildings. My only dislike (i'm not saying it is a complaint because it is Florida) was that it got really humid inside our room, so I wish there was a window to open to try and offset the humidity. But, my friends and I found that propping the door open with the latch at the top helped too.

Yelp
We've been to Disney numerous times, and have usually stayed in either one of the All Stars (usually movies) or Saratoga Springs. We decided we wanted to utilize the skyliner and booked our trip for this resort. The actual resort was okay. Same set up as the All Stars with a bed and the foldable bed/table. We opted for no house-keeping, but one day I had a house-keeper enter my room as I was in the middle of nursing my baby. Another day we came back, our beds were made crisply and the trash was taken out. Now the skyliner was fantastic. It provided smooth riding and it was incredibly spacious. Has a max of 10 adults. During peak times, like leaving, you may have to sit with other people but that only happened to us once. Not sure if it's for the handicap carts to join the queue, but the skyliner stopped several times as we rode it. I was a bit frustrated, but not feeling cramped on a bus, having an actual seat after walking all day, and a slight breeze made up for the extra 5-10 minutes of stop and go. **Pop shares the skyliner boarding location with Art of Animation. -If you go to the parks early, the line just to get on will be insanely far back. It moves quick, but wow was that a shock. -And oh my gosh, the bus line to go to Magic Kingdom was crazy! They do have buses coming frequently but it's a little wild waiting to get on the bus. They even had a white van bring a couple folks in, and a plain charter bus. I was skeptical on getting on the charter bus (didn't want my organs harvested that day), but yeah I'll wait for a normal bus next time. All in all, I don't think we'll stay at this resort again. It's not terrible by any means, but it's definitely not on the top of my list for Disney resorts.

Yelp
This is a great resort for the budget-conscious traveler. The rooms are all refurbished and look great. There are plenty of USB outlets and plenty of room. The outside of the resort is ok. You can definitely tell it's a value resort, but if you don't plan on spending much time at the hotel this is a great way to save money.

Yelp
It was my first time staying at the resort. It was so nice and transportation to and from the parks was easy. I will definitely stay here again.

Yelp
One of several value resorts that Disney offers, Pop Century is a nice, affordable stay for your Disney vacation. I particularly enjoy the theming here - there is some Disney flair mixed in with the decades in larger-than-life fashion. The rooms are likely small for a family of 4, but the price point may be right to help make the vacation more affordable. It was a perfect size for me and my friend - we were each able to have our own bed. The grounds have a couple of pools for guest use, a large cafeteria-style eating area, and a merchandise shop that has many of the same souvenirs you can get in the parks. Depending on your room assignment, you could have a decent hike to the bus area for getting to the parks/Disney Springs. All in all, if you are looking for an affordable route that still offers Disney pizzazz, this is a good option for you! If you plan to spend a lot of time in the room/enjoying the resort grounds, perhaps you will want to look at other options that have more.

Yelp
If you're looking for a Disney property to stay on site without breaking the bank this is the place to go. Check in via phone upon arrival and you'll get a notification as to when your room is ready. There's many different transportation methods to get you to the park, we spent our first day at Epcot and they had a skylines that'll take you directly there (you must transfer at the next station and it'll land at the back of the park in front of France). Day two we went to magic kingdom in front of the hotel there are buses round the clock with minimal wait time that'll take you directly to magic kingdom. We had a hiccup with our experience at the hotel and the cast member at checkout was able to make it right for us. There's a food court on site that makes it very convenient to grab a quick sit down or take our option based on your liking. Parking is free so it was amazing that we didn't have to pay for another additional fee as many of the other resorts may have enforced.

Yelp
Welcome home! That's what the gate guard greeted me with! I don't think it gets any better than that. I was thrilled to call this resort home for 48 fleeting but fun hours and can't wait to go back again. Here's why: -I love the theming-they go all out, with separate sections for each of the last five decades of the 20th century. I'm a 70s/80s kid but absolutely adore all the cool decorations and themes from the other featured eras, too: 50s, 60s and 90s. The bowling pin-shaped pool in the 50s area, where I stayed this time, is so fun and fabulous... or maybe I should say "peachy keen, jelly bean." Even if your kids have no idea about 20th century pop culture, they'll totally dig this place. -I've actually stayed here many times, but each of those visits was in 2017 or earlier. Since then, they've remodeled the rooms. The carpet is gone... and they've changed the rooms that used to have two double beds, to a queen and a Murphy bed, that folds down over a generous sized table. It makes the room seem bigger-very efficient use of space. They've also added new furniture, new (comfy!) mattresses, tons of outlets for charging everything and redone the bathrooms and vanity areas. It's sleek, super clean and modern. Oh! And it came with eight pillows-four firm, four more "slouchy." Nice! There's an in-room coffee maker and mini fridge (take the shelves out and wine bottles can stand up in there). The room also comes with an ironing board and iron, hair dryer and a magnifying mirror... plus drawers, shoe cubbies, a small space to hang clothes and some bathroom area storage. -the lobby area houses an arcade, a Disney show/movie viewing area, the gift shop and dining hall. The latter has tons of seating-including super long booths for large groups. It's comfy and colorful in there. There are a decent amount of food choices, including hot, plated meals as well as tons of grab and go items. For my palette, there wasn't much on the hot menu that excited me but everything I've tried is well cooked and generously portioned. They also take amazing care, catering to people with food allergies. My niece has severe dairy and tree nut allergies and can safely find something to eat at all the Disney resorts/parks/properties. The chef has even come out to consult with her parents. That's true hospitality. Oh! Just soft drinks and coffee served in the food hall... but there's wine by the bottle for sale in the gift shop... and there's also the Petals full-service bar, out by the Hippy Dippy pool. -Pop is right next door to the Art of Animation resort. My family was staying there and I could either walk over or drive, without having to go through any more gates. Art of Animation is on the Skyliner route, which you can take to Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios. (It also connects to the Caribbean Beach Resort and the Riviera Resort.) It's free, fast, fun and you get to sit in a gondola with only your party. Some of the kids in our group were a little afraid of heights but were still enchanted with this fairly new system. If you're going to Magic Kingdom or Animal Kingdom, they have free bus service. -Pop is in the "value resort" tier of Disney hotels. It's a but more expensive than the All-Star properties and a bit cheaper than Art of Animation. I'll admit: the price really went up from our last stay here... but I also booked late. If you book earlier and do a package deal, the rates can be better. (I'm both a Florida resident and an annual passholder and you can get discounts for those) Let's see: there's tons of parking... lots of great photo opps... it really is clean and colorful... Disney hospitality is on full display. I'd love to go back, even if I have to save more for it. Just please, dear Midwest relatives-don't visit in fiery hot, swampy, soupy June next time!

Yelp
Comfortable spacious room with large bathroom area- several shelves/cupboards for our 3 adults to unpack. Good size mini fridge / cabinet for our snacks. Parking free for guests at resort. Saved $$ & time staying at resort with the many park transportation choices- boat, skyway and buses!

Yelp
So we decided to use Pop Century for our 7 day vacation. The first observation, it was a slight bit higher priced than the All Star Resorts. Well I'll start with this, it's worth the slight increase. Disney's Skyliner is right beside the resort and will transport you with efficiency to Disneys Hollywood Studios, other resorts, or Epcot. It also allows you to move around and utilize the early rope drop access which comes with staying on Disney property. The room reserved for us was available much earlier than the scheduled time, which of course was great. The room was very clean upon arrival and fit the theme of the 80s(we were assigned to the 80s building). Towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, iron, and a hair dryer were provided with the room. Other amenities that were useful was the mini fridge and table/fold out bed. Overall the room was nice for what it is and accommodated two with ease. If you're at Disney, you more than likely won't be using the room for anything besides sleep anyways. The resort featured multiple pools with bars on the main area. While we did not use it, it appeared crowded and to be entertaining being as they were conducting trivia, themed music, movies at night, and again, bar service. The main entry point on resort is equipped with a rather large gift shop, concierge desk, arcade, and a massive cafeteria. So Pop Century is considered a budget stay...... well the cafeteria is another staple to the resort! It's basic food but is priced a slightly more reasonable, has a variety to pick from, and is open from 7a-11p. Overall I'd stay in Pop Century Resorts again and would Recommend it to friends or other family.

Yelp
Not bad for a value resort but housekeeping could be better. Found hairs on the sink and in the tub at check in. Didn't refill tea and coffee packs on the first of 2 cleaning days even though they were empty. Pretty sure some of our things were looked through as they were not how we left them..as in game systems put in case backwards.

Yelp
Pretty bad! Stop listening or believing these Disney influencers... Disney is not what it use to be. Stayed late August 2024 and man was it bad. When I got there early Tuesday morning the room was surprisingly ready. I had requested a ground floor room since I was with a toddler by myself but they said they couldn't accommodate that. That's fine. Got to the room and there was no water. We had reservations so needed to leave straight to the parks so I let the front desk know (about 11ish in the morning). They said they'd fix it. We return about 9ish at night. I went to the front desk to ask the status of the problem just so I didn't have to walk back to the room just to walk back to the lobby. They said it was fix but the water might be a little cloudy but to let it run for a bit if it is. Got to the room and the water was almost black. I'm shocked how in 10 hours they couldn't just run the water themselves to prevent a customer from seeing that. I ran the water for almost an hour. That same night I called the lobby to confirm the first bus out to magic kingdom since i had reservations at the park for 8:00am breakfast. Apparently they said the first shuttle was at 7:30a but the first customer service person was unsure and kept saying "I think", "I believe". I said it made no sense how Disney would make a reservation at 8am that a person staying at their resort couldn't get to in time...since the fine print says to get there before the time or they can't guarantee it. He said he'd ask the transportation desk to call me to try and accommodate a different form of transportation. I waited...now almost 10:00a trying to put a toddler to sleep, the transportation desk person called giving me attitude repeating "first bus is at 7:30a or you can pay for other transportation to come and get you". Her attitude was appalling for disney customer service. I asked to speak to the manager and she said "he's busy". At that point I was mad and said well you better tell him to un-busy himself unless you want a very pissed off customer going to the lobby with a sleepy toddler starting a show emphasizing on the black water in my room. She said she'd have the manager call as soon as he could. I waited and waited and waited and came 11:00pm and at that point the baby was asleep and I wasn't going to have this person call (if he did) and wake up the kiddo. I put the phone off the hook. Next morning I saw the phone had a message and behold the manager called at 11:30pm knowing I had a toddler sleeping. I was only staying one more night and at that point I just knew disney was just a mess. The room was filthy, the "clean" towels had human hair stuck to it, the shower looked like it had never been clean with mildew everywhere, people were smoking pot and cigarettes in the balcony of our hallways, the pool was closed for "unknown" reasons on our 2nd night which made a lot of people angry, and the next morning the pool was still closed where they were cheesy "training" employees to be lifeguards....while customers looked on mortified. Food court continues to be closed BUT to add fuel to the fire, they upped prices of the mobile ordering so you could at least have some option of food at the hotel. With the whole shuttle info mess, when I got there 15 minutes before 7:30a to get the "first shuttle" out of the resort, I found out the first shuttle had left at 7:11am. I (and apparently a few other people in line) were incredibly angry. The bus didn't come til 7:44am. I was late to my reservation by 20 minutes then had to wait another 15 minutes, make another complaint to them to be able to sit me saying it was the resorts fault and I had lightning lane passes that started in 10 minutes. The employees at the restaurant were just rude and useless and when finally complaining got me seated, when I went inside the restaurant IT WAS EMPTY! The "cast members" (employees) were huddled in little groups outside or in corners just talking and laughing while people were outside sweating their life away. One woman told me that she heard how bad things were with reservations and did mobile check in (which i didn't know) about an hour before her reservations just so they could sit her on time....which it worked. Disney has fallen to the pits....this is only a review of the crap resort. Not the crap experience at the parks which was anything but magical like Disney use to be. Only positive I can give the resort was the sky liner rides to Hollywood studios and epcot. And even that wasn't worth the hotel experience. I will NEVER stay here again and definitely won't be going to disney again until things revert back to what it was before it lost its mind. The money, complications, employee attitudes, upkeep of the resorts/parks, and overall depressing feel of the parks isn't worth a penny.

Yelp
As a family, we visit Disney World twice a year and try to stay at a different resort every time - our most recent visit was in May (for Mother's Day) We stayed at Pop Century and LOVED it! It was "groovy" ! The themes, pools, rooms cast members and prices / you honestly can't beat this place. If you are looking for a fun resort THIS IS IT ! (:

Yelp
We stayed at Pop Century for 5 nights while going to the parks. Initially we were placed in a room the furthest point from the center of the resort and you could tell. It felt like we were in a whole other world, the room was less updated, and it was a pain having to walk so far to get to the Skyliner and bus system. Our shower was clogged from previous guests so on the third night we finally requested for our room to moved more centrally. They moved us with no hassle, they even came and moved our luggage to the new room while we were at the parks that day. It made such a DIFFERENCE. I would not stay here again unless I was in a room near the lobby/Skyliner/transportation system. The rooms were more updated and felt cleaner. Housekeeping also came more often, we didn't have to worry about calling about extra towels and wash cloths like we did in the previous room, they automatically brought them around. For a value resort I think it is worth the price if you are in a CENTRALLY LOCATED room.

Yelp
Check out the pool bar for amazing cocktails. I ordered a few of the frozen drinks and they did not disappoint.
