Ultimate Guide to Magic Kingdom, From Disney Experts

"Because parking for Magic Kingdom is across the Seven Seas Lagoon, I always plan to park at the Transportation and Ticket Center and then take whichever transport is available—ferry or monorail—to the park gates, which can save time at the start of the day. Standard parking rates and options (standard, preferred, oversized) apply here, and third-party shuttles typically drop at the TTC rather than at the park entrance." - Jacqueline Dole Jacqueline Dole Jacqueline Dole is a food and travel journalist based in Maine. Two options to enter into magic kingdom… Ferry or the monorail Monorail is much quicker but I’m sure it’s a nice way to enter the park. Crazy how intricate Disney world is especially how large it is. Walt knew exactly what he was doing! Visionary!!!!

An interesting aspect to Walt Disney World Florida is the options for transport that don't exist in California. Right at the gate we saw three options for getting around (although one was seriously oriented towards navigating the massive parking lot)

Orlando Disney Magic Kingdom: Great transportation service from parking to ticket entrance.

A nice little plaza that specializes in transport, primarily to the Magic Kingdom. If you’re not staying at a Disney resort, you always have to go through here no matter if you parked or taken a charter bus. Then, you either have to take a monorail or boat to finally make it to the park. I know the Lagoon was there for aesthetic purposes, but logistically, it doesn’t make sense. However, despite the inconvenience of transferring between two modes, this area is clean, even the restrooms. You can get park tickets here and get pins to celebrate! There’s a Joffrey’s here, and you can get donuts and coffee before your trip forward. Overall, the Transportation and Ticket Center is a decent place, but having to spend time here can be frustrating.

The monorail was great. We preferred the ferry to exit the park. It moved quicker and was breezy!

Very organized. We arrived early and we're close to the front so walked into the security area without the tram. Returning to the car was easy also. Even though it was July 4th, it was smooth sailing.

I loved their ferry boat transportation! So much fun, and it really feels like I’m going to a magic world away from everything else in this world. Such a unique transportation and they find our safety their number one priority. Not to mention their ticket center is pretty simple. They could have an attitude if you lost your card lol, but they go ahead and give you a new one anyway.

Monorails are great. Well done.
