District Five Coffee Roasters - Café

I came here in a cold bank holiday. While the place was almost full, the atmosphere was still pretty relaxed. I particularly liked the open layout, providing a nice feeling of comfort and space. I ordered a flat white plus their iconic pancakes. The coffee came quite quick, and tasted lovely. I was also served a glass of water, definitely appreciated since I came from running. Some minutes later, the spectacular pancakes arrived: you can smell the delicate yet tempting aroma of the just cooked pancakes. I was afraid of the red berries coulis, but it was brilliantly balanced. Not too sweet, not too sour. The maple syrup was also mild, without hiding the flavourful dough. The cream cheese with citrics blended beautifully with the rest, as the cherry on top. The portion was so far so generous, so I needed a second coffee. I had a cup of the batch brew, which I guess was a Kenyan coffee. Delicious. I felt that cozy there that stayed for almost two hours. Enjoying the coffee, the food, the relaxed atmosphere, the wifi, and the clean well equiped toilets. All in all, I can recommend drop by Ingolstadt to visit this gem, at the same level that the best specialty coffee venues in bigger cities.

wonderful café! District Five Coffee Roasters serves amazing coffee and homemade bread (for breakfast or brunch) – both super tasty. Coffee Beans are freshly roasted. I love that it’s also a community hub with regular events. You can even find info about other events in Ingolstadt. Staff are friendly and speak English. It’s often busy, but definitely worth the wait. Highly recommend! You have to find a table first and remember the number of table, go to cashier and order your food :)

The interior is interesting and calming I like the aesthetics Coffee was ok, we had flat white Breakfast we had florentine egg and egg benedict. It was delicious The only point that I think it was my taste was that I am not a fan of berries or pomegranate on egg and breakfast.

Came here for an afternoon coffee witg my partner. Nice place with very friendly service and we got a whole bottle of water with the coffee. Had a flat white and including my partners iced latte the total was 8€ so a lil pricey. Anyway the coffee was disappointing. I was hoping for something fruity and aromatic but this one tasted quite plain. Not bad but just a bit average.

They know what they are doing! I went to catch up with a friend on an afternoon. It was my 1st time there. 1st time in Germany, I found a place where they offer tap water to drink to each table without asking. Usually in Germany nobody offers it. Donno why. We ordered our food, it was served really fast. It was really tasty. Coming to the coffee: Amazing! Simply amazing. They have the best beans, right amount of milk foam in the coffee. Perfectly balanced, right texture, right color. Perfect temperature. I would visit again for a coffee anyday!! Keep up the good work.

Their coffee, croissants, and egg options are quite good 👌🏻. I just wish the ventilation and seating comfort were a bit better.

Great service.. Cafe District Five in Ingolstadt is a great place to stop for brunch before Primark shopping. They do a nice avocado bread, with your choice of salmon, bacon, eggs etc at additional charge. The portion was surprisingly large, and the bread very soft. I also saw them serve fluffy pancakes with fruits to a nearby table.
