Loved the location just off the freeway . Nice cozy atmosphere making it feel like home away from home. Stayed there Dec 2017 and would probably go back again. Fenced off and parking on site with security from 7:00pm to 7:00am.Breakfast simple , delicious and healthy. Loved it and would recommend it . Nra

I stayed here two weeks at October 2019. Really enjoyed my time. Rooms very cosy and clean. The location of this guest house is good too - you can easily reach everything from there. Special thanks for staff! Just friendly people. I'm still amazed that from the morning 2, they have all learnt our names (we were group of 20 people!). Always got help and hints whatever we asked: from best beaches to birthday cakes and all in between. Would love to stay here again one day.

It is a warm, friendly and homely environment. The cleanliness and hospitality were outstanding. The owners treated us like family and it is a place that I now regard as home away from home. The place is situated in the centre of D6 which has a rich political history. We were lucky enough to meet some famous people like Nelson Mandela's prison warden who gave a talk to some youngsters at the Guest House. That was a bonus! Thank you D6 Guest House for making us feel special.

I stay at D6 guest house whenever I come to Cape Town, usually staying at the guest house for 3-4 weeks at a time. Faizah and Brenda are lovely, super helpful and make it a home away from home.||The food is amazing, you will never go hungry, breakfast is a event in itself. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, I always sleep well there. For a small fee you can get laundry washed, ironed and returned to your room. The guest house is safe and prioritises security, but it is also a incredibly friendly space.||If you need advice on where to go locally or how to do it, Brenda or Faizah can help. There is a myciti bus stop just up the road and a local coffee shop across the street, and a Spar about 10 minutes walk away, or take a short taxi ride for five minutes and you will be in the centre of Cape Town. ||Alongside solo travel there I also take students to the guest house on a field trip, over the past three years the team at District Six has been so supportive to myself and the student group.||I highly recommend staying at this guest house be it with friends, solo, couples etc.

The guesthouse is a great location for The Fugard Theatre.|| The owner was most welcoming and the staff were friendly. You were offered a cup of tea or coffee on arrival which is a service you do not get often these days. ||The rooms were comfortable ...although the carpet could be replaced.

The guesthouse is in a neighbourhood that is not safe for tourists. You can not just walk to the city. There's to much danger of robbery and criminal facts. ||The house is charming, but rahter old. The service was as good as they are able to do, but poor comparing to a hotel with 3 or 4 stars. We will not recommand this accomodation to others.

Very friendly and helpful staff. They helped us to contact a very service minded guide named ashraf. The guesthouse has a good location close to the citysentrum, table mountain and lions head. Thank you for making our stay so great!

The most wonderful place to stay in Cape Town! The location, food, and the inn keepers are all superb. Supported and spoiled by staff. Just like home but better. Best location and incomparable view. 3rd time there!
