Lunar New Year Traditions to Celebrate Around the World | Condé Nast Traveler
"The largest and oldest temple fair in Beijing is held at Ditan Park, and I found it filled with booths offering a wide variety of local snacks and artisanal crafts, plus regional folk performances (including lion dancing) and games that make it a lively Spring Festival destination." - Jasmine Ting
Very quiet and green park. Worth a visit when you need an escape from the busy city life.

Ditan park is the smaller sibling park of Tiantan park, but it's still huge and lively. Calisthenics area is great, super crowded with old people. In general, you'll find this park to be full of life, definitely a great place to walk around or relax

Came here when Temple fairs. There are so many people. If you like to see how Chinese people spend time in new year just come here.
