Many good options on the menu. I thought the pasta with chicken was very good and had a good flavor. It had a slight kick to it, but not overpowering. Another person had the beef tips with ravioli in a tomato sauce and he liked that as well. They bring out warm, sliced baguette bread and fresh butter. Seats were very comfortable and it was easy to watch the game from either of the bar or the various TVs placed around. Not too noisy. 9/2025: Food was still outstanding. The Chilean Seabass with crabcake and green beans was really excellent. Good flavor for the crabcake and the Seabass tasted very fresh with the right spices as it was pan grilled. The meatloaf was a huge piece, maybe 4 inches in diameter and 3 inches thick with fresh mashed potatoes on top. A sirloin steak was grilled as expected and was very flavorful. Excellent meal for all with Service over the top.

The original artwork and relaxed ambiance made me feel right at home here, even before I tasted the best sweet potato fries I’ve ever eaten. Quality of the food remained high in my book with the medallions of beef in a delicious sauce over mashed potatoes topped with tobacco onions. Almost didn’t have room for dessert but the cheesecake was my favorite, even though I also loved my friend’s special coconut cream pie, which she let me taste. We’d recommend Dittos for Two as great value for the price! I’ll stop here again whenever I’m in Louisville.

My favorite meal in Louisville. If I’m within 60 miles I always try to stop. Crystal R took great care of us this time, and the food is always amazing!

Google
This restaurant was underwhelming, and overrated, the food lacked due to the cook rationing toppings on the salads, one slice of avocado, and an almost non-existing portion of almonds and cheese, both salads, one full and one half salad, same amount of toppings. And the cook completely disregarding ingredients on the beyond me burger...there were no onion strings, or goat cheese, and when I asked for these items to complete the burger, it took the waitress forever to get it. She also ignore our request for a refill on strawberry lemonade, stating she was told there were no free refills, so she has to charge for another lemonade. The waitress was horrible, she was very unattentive, and had to be called multiple times to the table, because she never came to check on us. She just didn't care, and that was disturbing. The only thing good about this restaurant was the sweet potato fries appetizer, but other than that, the cook skimped on the salads, and did not properly prepare the burger. The restaurant acted very carelessly, and cheap, for what their dishes cost. I took a minute to discuss all of this with the manager, and he tried to justify the poor food preparation from the cook, and the poor service from the waitress...but really how could he? Needless to say, I did not tip, I left a long note on the ticket why, and the manager removed the beyond me burger from the ticket.

Ditto's is back, ya'll! We have been back the last few months multiple times and everything tastes and feels like the good old days. I have been coming here for over 25 years, but hadn't come in a few years due to quite a few bad experiences we had. But that is all in the past. The place is under new management and you can tell. The food is back to tip top and the service is supreme. We loved our experience. Krystal was our server today and she did an amazing job. 👏 Come try it out or try it again like we did. You won't be disappointed. 👍

The food was great and had a good vibe. The service was a little slow. Overall very good. The wings were great and so was the chicken salad. We will be back!

My boyfriend and I ate here. Right next to the building lengthways is parking. He had the New York strip with baked potato and it was cooked too perfection. It was served in an onion-ish sauce which had a kick was very good. I had the gluten-free pork chop and it was superb. I was very grateful that they had a separate menu for me to pick from. The service was excellent. It's a very nicely setup restaurant. Very clean and organized. The kitchen questioned the extent of my allergy so as not to make me sick, which I was also very appreciative of. We recommend this place 100%!

Google
I visited Dittos tonight for a birthday dinner. We ordered the pomegranate margaritas and the calamari as an appetizer. The calamari tastes very good I love the inclusion of banana peppers for added flavor. The margaritas tasted like cough syrup, not my favorite flavor…. 🙈 For dinner two of us ordered the NY strip steak, the others ordered salads. The steak was very good! It could’ve been a bit more tender but the sauce was fantastic and the onion straws taste good too! Our waitress was very friendly and even offered birthday dessert 🍮 thank you!!

Yelp
We are semi-regulars because we live in the area. We like their food and the decor. We decided to try the Date night dinner for two Saturday.Choice of appetizer and desert to share, with an entree for each of us. All for $45. It was all very good and a great price.

Yelp
My friend and I spent the afternoon by the pool and decided to treat ourselves by DoorDashing lunch from Ditto's -- and let me just say, it was absolutely DELICIOUS! The food arrived quickly, still hot and beautifully packaged, and the flavors were so fresh that it honestly felt like we were dining in the restaurant. It was the perfect poolside lunch -- light enough to enjoy while lounging in the sun but full of flavor that really stood out. Everything tasted like it was made with care, and it paired perfectly with a relaxed afternoon catching up with a sweet friend. We both kept saying how impressed we were with the quality for delivery, which can be hit or miss, but Ditto's nailed it. This experience just reminded me why Ditto's is such a gem in Louisville. Fresh food, reliable service, and consistently great flavor every single time. Definitely a 10/10 -- whether you're dining in, picking up, or DoorDashing by the pool like we did, Ditto's never disappoints!

Yelp
The service was top notch, being that we were the only patrons lol We started with the Thai wings. They were small wings and so delicious. We had the Pomegranate Agave margaritas with a shot in the side. It was deliciously good! We both had the angus burger medium well with fries. I had pepper jack cheese w/mushrooms and she had Gouda and bacon. The fries were hot and crispy just how I love them. Joe the manager was super sweet and nice. Crystal was a good server. Mikal is a sweetheart. It was so good seeing him. Go check out the nicest team in the industry at one of the cleanest places in town!

Betsy G.

Yelp
The food and service were amazing! We enjoyed everything during our visit. Jonathan was our server, and he was great. We had the 2 for $45 and it was so good. Can't wait to go back! Highly recommend.

Yelp
I was in need of a sit down meal and not just a fast food stop. I walked and drove around the city for a while and just finally parked and got out Yelp to search nearby places to eat. This was nearby and the menu didn't look too bad. With that, I made my way here and decided to give it a try. When I entered this place appeared huge to me. There was more than enough seating in here to serve all the people on the street that walked/drove by. But, with it being between meals, the place was nearly empty. When I walked in I was asked how many, and as I was dining alone they asked if I wanted to sit at the bar, perfect choice. When I got to the bar the stools were not in the best condition and I chose the one that looked the least likely to fall apart when I sat in it. I was greeted by the bartender on shift and given a menu and asked what I would like to drink. I stuck with water since it was a rather warm day and I had been out all day. While the bartender was busy getting my drink and serving the two other customers at the bar, I looked over the menu. After browsing the menu for a bit I had decided that I already saw what I knew I was going to eat. When the bartender came back I was ready, I told her that I would start with the House Salad and my main course would be Stacked Woodland Farm Meatloaf. The description on the menu makes it sound delicious, plus it's meatloaf, one of the things I enjoy. I sat there and just enjoyed the air conditioning and water. I played on my phone until the House Salad appeared. This salad was hearty. Lettuce combined with a hefty helping of each of the following: avocado, almonds, bacon, eggs, tomato, Monterey Jack cheese, and gouda, dressing of your choice. This salad could have been a meal unto itself. I was about halfway through this salad when my main course appeared. The meatloaf was definitely stacked. It is a mix of pork and bison and was perfectly portioned. The slice of meatloaf sits on top of a piece of thick Texas toast and then has a big helping of smashed potatoes on top of it. But the thing that I think missed on this was the brown gravy. I didn't even notice the tobacco onions, I just noticed the brown gravy. The gravy is supposed to accompany and highlight the meatloaf, but it didn't. I'm not sure what happened to it, but it felt like the gravy may have sat a little too long in the warning area and it started to separate. Or maybe there was too much grease in it. It was piping hot, but it wasn't a homerun. The one thing that was noticeable here too were the other employees. They all looked a little miserable and it showed with how they interacted with each other. That left a little bit of a bad taste in your mouth that didn't come from the food.

Yelp
A very fun casual place. They play 80-90's music which I love. Beer was cold and service was great! I had a loaded potato and salad. Both were very good! Even cloth napkins! A must try when in the Highlands area
google avatar

Glynnis T.

Yelp
The food is delicious. My husband had the pork chop dinner and I had the pasta carbonara with crispy chicken. Both were hot & delicious. Our server Madison was amazing! She knows the menu and was very helpful! The ambiance is casual. It's nice, clean, soft music playing that's not over powering. So you can enjoy it, and still have a great conversation while eating your meal with friends and family.

Yelp
I come to dittos for special occasions. While it may not be the most fancy place, the food, the place and the staff are all amazing. Dittos has so many menu options available. On our visit today we ordered the meatloaf, the chicken carbonara and the chicken salad. Our waitress was kind and got us a kids meal ordered before leaving with our drink order. We were given refills on bread and drinks without even asking. Our food was delivered quickly and very fresh. We will continue to visit dittos as it is one of our favorites places in Louisville!

Yelp
Fabulous experience for our first time at Ditto's! Our waitress was very attentive. The food was delicious! Our favorites were the French onion soup, Mama Mia plate, Fettuccini Alfredo, Cuban sliders, and sweet potato fries. Happy Hour brings half price bar drinks (perfect old fashion) and a half price appetizer. They even honor it on Sat.! The restaurant has lovely woodwork and decor. It's an interesting setting with a sandwich shop in back. We had one little issue with our app not arriving on time but overall it was a wonderful experience!

Jordan S.

Yelp
I got to go into dinner service this time and it was great! I loved eating the pasta carbonara with the chicken. I'm kind of picky on pasta dishes but man this had a lot of flavor. I'm really glad I got it and would highly recommend getting this dish. Additionally the service here was very nice
google avatar

Lena L.

Yelp
I am a regular of Dittos. We love Dittos! The food has gone down in quality. The citrus salad has changed and it wasn't for the better. My companion had the Thai Salmon and it looked like a bowl of soup! We had to swat flies during the whole meal. Service was good but who cares when you're fighting flies for under cooked crab cakes and a house salad with fruit. There were dead flies laying on the ledge over the booths and live ones bombing our food. I'm not one to ask for an order to be deducted from a guest check so we paid and left

Yelp
A classic spot that is the same today as it was in the late 90s. Food is reliable but average without spending exhobitant amounts. The fare is classic American food alongside interpretation of Italian, Mexican, and other cuisine. It's very kid and family friendly with lots of room for wiggly kids to spread out. The service is alright - quick with refills, but otherwise pretty standard.

Carol A.

Yelp
The original artwork and warm hospitality made me feel right at home even before I tasted the best sweet potato fries I've ever had (even without the toasted marshmallow sauce). And my beef medallions dinner was to die for! Almost didn't have enough room to sample the light and delicious coconut cream pie that was on special but the cheesecake was my favorite -- worth falling off the wagon for in terms of calories.

Yelp
Born and raised in Louisville over 30 years and this week I tried Ditto's for the first time! A staple in the Highlands, I've passed Ditto's countless times as I went to JCTMS & Highland. Not to mention the nights in my early 20s roaming Bardstown Rd and never once tried Ditto's. However, the verdict after years of waiting is it didn't met the hype but it wasn't bad. I started off with the Brisket Sliders, for entree I went with the New England Style Stuffed Shrimp and my drink of choice was the Woodford Lemon Drop. The sliders were a hit with the chipotle aioli! Although the shrimp were small, the flavor was on point. The prize of the evening though were the Woodford Lemon Drops! A unique style given KY is the home of Bourbon, the drinks were stiff and because of happy hour they were only $6. Atmosphere wise, Ditto's gives off a chill vibe. It's to be noted on given weekend or evening expect this place to be buzzing!

Yelp
First time here and I am surprised at all the five star reviews. IMO the menu is a bit weird with the different food combinations. I'd find something that looked promising and tasty then there would be something in it that I didn't feel belonged. I went with the meatloaf. I've never had bison before and won't eat it again. I think the food is overpriced. I did like the "tobacco fries" that came with the meal. I will not be eating here again.

Yelp
My husband and I had a kid-free day and were looking for a place to go to for lunch. We used to love Ditto's but hadn't been for a while and knew we would not be disappointed. When we first arrived, we parked in the back where they have limited parking. There is an alternate entrance on the side that people typically miss due to it being also the entrance for a bakery. There is PLENTY of seating at the restaurant. Inside, they have very unique decor that will keep your eyes busy. They also have televisions inside as well. Our server was great and our food was brought out in a timely manner. I love their chicken wings and mozzarella sticks! Ditto's also has a nice happy hour if you can make it during that window!

Megan C.

Yelp
We drove by and decided to check it out. The food was average. I had a cheese burger and my husband had roast beef. The service was good. The waitress was friendly. Ambience is nice.

Yelp
We went to Ditto's this past weekend as we were in Louisville visiting family. I had never been before but everyone else I was with had been and was raving about it! We did not have reservations and were able to walk in and be sat immediately. Our server was sweet and able to provide wonderful recommendations from the menu. I started with the Soup of the Day which was a Cajun Potato soup with Spicy Sausage -- YUM! -- the soup was cheesy, full of flavor and had plenty of sausage pieces in the soup! I went with the server's recommendation of the Sea Bass -- it was crusted in what I think was a panko crust that tasted awesome! It was in a corn-risotto with a roasted-garlic sauce. M got the Breakfast Pasta a la Mama and added Fried Chicken -- for those of you who have never thought of Breakfast Pasta (SAME) but let me put you on RIGHT NOW! This was amazing and M loves pasta so much, so why not for breakfast!? Overall this was a great experience and when I go back to Louisville, I hope to be hitting this place up again!

Yelp
Dittos delivered recently on a lunch date to catch up with a friend. I first went probably 25 years ago and always liked the festive and laid back atmosphere and solid American cuisine. Located on the busy corner of Grinstead and Bardstown Rd, Dittos hasn't changed much from what I remember. Its constancy is endearing! I perused the menu and wondered about a salad (which my friend ended up ordering), but for myself I finally decided on the pork chop. It came after a reasonable amount of time and was a hearty serving! Crowning a dollop of mashed potatoes, it was more than enough for lunch. The sautéed spinach and mushrooms on the side helped me feel virtuous. Service was decent, although we had to wait sometimes for waters to be refilled. When it came time to pay the bill, I was pleasantly surprised at how affordable it was for the tasty and sizeable meal. Nostalgia and familiarity can be comforting, and in the case of Ditto's it certainly was. Check it out for yourself and see if it's an old favorite that stands the test of time for you as well!

Yelp
Worst experience ever! Has this place changed hands/management? My husband and I have frequented Dittos on at least 50 occasions. We always have a good experience. Today, 10/13/23, it feels like we are in the Twilight Zone. The waiter doesn't know what Merlot is. Then when I tried to order the Thai Salmon without the rice and veggies but with a baked potato, the waiter couldn't do it. Then when I asked about adding smashed potatoes instead of rice, they wanted $6 more for the dinner. So I just gave up and said Nevermind. My husband ordered blackened chicken Alfredo and a house salad. Both his main course and his salad came out at the same time. When I asked why his salad didn't come out before the meal, the waiter said they don't bring the salad first unless the customer requests them to do so. What? After that, the waiter disappeared and we never saw him again. No drink refills or asking us if we needed anything. WTH happened to this place? Does this photo look like blackened chicken? I Think not! Good lord it's 4 o'clock on a Friday and there is no one in this restaurant! And they can't satisfy one of a handful of customers who are in the restaurant? When we finally flagged down our server. and asked for our check and to speak with the manager, we were told he was too busy to talk to us. OMG. I am writing this as it occurred. We paid the check and started out and the manager caught us on the way out the door and contradicted the waiter on the $6 add for smashed potatoes. Said it should have been $1.50. Then he offered every excuse in the book about why all the issues occurred. No offer to make it right. Good bye Dittos.

Yelp
A small group of us went out Saturday evening for a friend's birthday and he chose Ditto's. It had been years since my last visit. We found a spot easily in their private parking lot and we were seated right away. The restaurant decor and design hasn't changed much. They have a lot of seating and are ideal for small groups. Service was top notch all night and also full of laughs. The food experience fell short tonight; however, I don't think that was the case for the rest of my group so I'd definitely come back and try other dishes. The highlights for me were the red sangria and house salad. The half portion was a great size! Lots of ingredients and loved the ranch dressing. Not as good was the sweet potato fries appetizer. Interesting though. The fries were soggy and covered in powdered sugar, making them overly sweet with the honey dip. My battered fish was ... awful. The smell was a bit overpowering and most of it was tough to cut through. I've never gotten a piece of fish that I couldn't cut and it became unappetizing. Sent most of it away on my plate to be tossed, which was super disappointing for a $15 dish with no sides. Ditto's has a prime location in the Highlands and is an option for you when the evening involves dinner and drinks ... just don't order the fish.

Donna H.

Yelp
Dropped in for Happy Hour and stayed for dinner! Some of the best wings. Lightly breaded and are smaller with a punch of flavor! The crabmeat quesadillas a nice twist to it. Dinner was the Cali Sandwich and the Apple chicken with a crab cake. The chicken was savory with the apple giving a hint of sweetness. The Pilaf had a flavorful mix of grains and the crab cake was perfect. A great place with an eclectic ambiance.

Taylor W.

Yelp
The food here is always consistently good. Every time we stop in they deliver the same high quality and flavor, which makes it one of our most reliable go-to spots!
google avatar

Summer S.

Yelp
The bread was good but they give you these teeny pats of foil wrapped butter. The service was good on the slow afternoon that I went. I got the fish sandwich which was HUGE and very tasty. The fries were good. I also got tried the creamed spinach which was fine- just mostly a bowl of spinach. I would definitely go back for another lunch to try more things!

Tim T.

Yelp
We went there on a Saturday night at 7:30 with reservations(did not need them). The four of us enjoy the sliders, ravioli & pasta. It was all very good, prices are normal at around $22 for an entree. A little high, but in the ballpark. Service was good & the restaurant is nice with big private booths.
google avatar

Bob B.

Yelp
Food great and service was great. A little louder around the bar but no big deal. Salad both types was great. Sea bass was very tasteful with risotto. Will be back

Em A.

Yelp
Always a safe bet for relaxed, casual atmosphere, prompt and friendly service and a large enough menu to please picky eaters and those with dietary restrictions. Great option for family dinners and groups, and we love that they're open on Monday evenings.

Yelp
Visited this spot with friends after a long race day. Very friendly staff who were able to accommodate my group of 12 guests. Ate the meat loaf. Absolutely delicious! In fact everyone's food in my party looked amazing! Very enjoyable experience. Would definitely recommend this spot for the ambiance and hospitality.

Yelp
For about 30 years Ditto's has been a reliable go-to dining spot for family, friends and even business lunches. It all ended this afternoon. The manager's unprofessional attitude is the reason. The first encounter we had at Ditto's today was with a rookie server. Having worked in food service, our hearts are always with restaurant staff, especially newbies. She did her best and I root for her success. The food was usual Ditto's fare...predictably good. One of our party asked for the "Tomato Garlic Bowtie Pasta Broccoli (Gluten-Free)". Listed on their website at $20 to include Tomato, green onion, parmesan, roasted garlic sauce, white rice, choice of grilled chicken. Comes with a citrus salad. (Half $16). https://dittosgrill.com/menu/gluten-free/ The charge on our bill was for 22.00 plus 7.00 for a citrus salad which was supposedly included. The new server was confused. So she offered to summon the manager. The manager arrived and as we explained the discrepancy and pointed to his restaurants website, he countered that he wasn't sure that was really the actual website. I offered to google it again for him, but he went on a milquetoast rant about people on the internet spoofing menus(?). He told us that the electronic menu ordering system tolled 22.00 plus a 7.00 citrus salad. He then went and found another print version of the gluten free menu which had the dish at 19.00. He told us that there was an up charge to replace the bow tie pasta with rice to make the dish GF, which wasn't listed online or in print. He was defensive, unwilling to take any accountability for the inconsistencies at Ditto's, unwilling to admit to the need to align his website, print menu and electronic ordering system for consistency and unwilling to admit that we, the patrons, might just be right this time. He was in this interaction, what a restaurant manager shouldn't be. His unprofessional presence lent a bilious end to the visit and a resolution by our party to end our 30 years of patronage at this establishment. Think wisely about your engagement with the management staff and make sure to ask for all the menus when you arrive, there are quite a few, and the prices vary.

Lori M.

Yelp
Ditto's is my favorite restaurant. The food is just so good! I love everything about it and go there every chance I get. I highly recommend Ditto's.

Yelp
There were only 8-10 people seated when my group (11 people) walked in for an early dinner. We were immediately told we had to order quickly because there was a party of 30 coming in. There rest of my party agreed to that, and we were lead to out seats. The tables they sat us at were not wiped down from what they said was a brunch crowd. It was 4:30. I wasn't very hungry, so I just ordered a side of Mac and cheesy. It was an unappealing orange color and had a weird taste and texture to it. It was probably one of the worst I've tried from a restaurant. I found within the group that the food was hit or miss. I personally would not come back.

Susan S.

Yelp
Overwhelmed the hostess with 2 people in line. Sat for 30 minutes only to be told they didn't have one of the dishes, waited another 10 for them to come back for order. Ran out of water. Place only had 5 or 6 tables of people. Ridiculous service. Nonextistent management. Will be a very long time before we come back.

Aaron S.

Yelp
I had an interview here about 2 months ago so i got there 10 minutes early and looked around it was my first time there the place looked empty with 10 dirty tables needing to be bussed. A bald headed manger comes up to me after 5 minutes and says and what are you waiting for. (nice greeting ) I said i'm here for an interview ."Well you're just gonna have to wait" ,and nice to meet you to sir. I said no problem . i was already sitting there waiting so not sure what he wanted me to do . He looks annoyed and starts bussing the dirty tables. Then the G.M. (Joe Torres) interviews me for about 45 minutes. Going on and on about the great job he does there and his standards which is all basic serving 101. The last 5 minutes of the interview he tells me flat out that i lied on my resume. I laughed out loud because I thought he was joking. He then repeated it two more times .What a clown you are!!!! I have references, you could have called any of them and done the some research you lazy piece of trash. You think I would lie on my resume to work at Ditto's!!!!! you and your staff look miserable in that filthy dump you call a restaurant. Maybe if a Tuesday Lunch shift is to much for you should retire you freaking loser. Let me know if you want a real G.M. to take over. But JOE TORRES don't forget your RESUME!!!!! maybe you and mister baldy could run a lemonade stand downtown or something . Thanks for making me just work harder you freaking CLOWN!

Yelp
One of the standards for Louisville. Consistency, comfort, laid back atmosphere, and some damn fine food. Crispy chicken with pasta carbonara is excellent, stacked meatloaf is always great, Thai salmon, stuffed sea bass, burger, fish sandwich--all consistently excellent! Appetizers and soups are good, drinks are done well, service usually really attentive and friendly. Desserts are spotty--now and again there's a mystifying attempt at a pie crust that goes awry.

Kaleigh H.

Yelp
I've eaten here a few times now and the food is always good! The meatloaf and pasta carbonara were both delicious and had so much flavor. We'll definitely be back

Yelp
Don't forget them Been a Highlands Hangout forever Went there last night out of the blue, haven't been there for a while so let's try type of thing. Really good thumbs up they have a something else burger thinks it's a mushroom burger don't know but my wife loves it and I usually get the regular burger but instead last night I got the KY proud meatloaf it was fabulous like thanksgiving on a plate. Pork and beef meatloaf on top of Texas toast covered with mashed potatoes and gravy topped with crispy onion rings Blew my diet but I didn't care I had a day. So worth it had a side of creamed spinach too great. We will be back

Becky S.

Yelp
Food was amazing and large portions. Even the bread was great. I had stacked ribs and my bf had the meatloaf. Both of us left full and satisfied with our meals. Drinks were also top tier.

B B.

Yelp
Incredibly slow service. We told the waiter we needed to expedite everything and it took way too long. Not enough servers and an 18% gratuity added in which was not warranted given the slow service.
google avatar

Amber G.

Yelp
I have not been here for a while and we met up last night for a Mothers Day dinner. Drinks and food were excellent. Large portions. I had the crab cakes with creamed spinach. It wasn't the best creamed spinach I ever had but it was really good. The crab cakes were flavorful. The drinks were really good too. There were 12 of us and they had no issue accommodating us and the service was on point. She was very patient. We ended the night with a round of shots which the manager had to kind of create because they didn't have the ingredients for what we wanted. Really good.

Yelp
After a long day of Thelma and Louise takes the Ville we were famished. We first tried a few other places and were told it would be a long wait so we stumbled upon Ditto's after driving to the highlands. Louise had been there once before but I'd never been so in we went. The host cleaned our table and seated us. We were then greeted by our waitress with a smile. She asked us for our drink order handed a paper menu and asked us if we had any questions. She gave us a while to look over the menu and came back. The grilling began, I don't think she knew what she got herself into waiting on us but she made it through. So we started with cocktails, we ended up deciding on a very delicious pomegranate margarita. This wasn't your typical margarita, this had heart to it. Some one knows what they are doing here. So then to the dinner. This is where I could only give the 3 stars. So I ordered the blackened chicken alfredo and the citrus salad. The salad actually blew my socks off. However the Alfredo was a whole other subject. So the Parmesan on top was from the can I have in my fridge. This actually tasted as though it was straight out of a bag in the frozen section at Walmart. I'm sorry but this was ver disappointing. I can't speak for anything else but I will come back to try a different dish. I am hopeful!

Yelp
Very nice service with surprisingly mediocre food. Bland tasting, a bit sloppy, slightly overcooked. The menu is very interesting and their website photos make you anticipate something far better than what gets delivered. Maybe an off night considering their solid reputation, history and pedigree. Hopefully so for their sake.

Yelp
It had been many, many moons since last eating at Ditto;s and it was just as good as I recall! Tucked away but also on the main drag off Bardstown Rd., this is a great location. Once inside the place opens up Into a large dining room and bar. It's a good place to watch a game. The menu is varied with American classics. I've always loved the chicken wings. There's a ton of options for all tastes, including vegans. Lots of booze here, a full bar. There's also some fun night life in the area for a nightcap after dinner. I tend to drive by and not always stop but now that they're back on my radar I'll be in more often. You'll always get a good meal here.

Yelp
New favorite place for outdoor patio happy hour. They have a great deal for happy hour until 6pm. You'll be able to get 1/2 off drinks or apps! Any alcoholic beverage you may want to try is half off, which is one of the best deals in the city. We sat outside on their covered patio and had good service to get our drinks in before happy hour closed. I got two signature drinks for the half price deal: a margarita and a mojito. The Margarita was their signature Pomegranate Agave Margarita. It was sweet with pomegranate seeds, agave syrup, lime, tequila, plus don't forget the sugar rim. The mojito was more my kinda drink, as I'm not a huge sugar fan but the marg was still something to try. I also tried out the crab quesadilla off the app half price at $7. It was very large and very tasty full of cheese and.m crab meat. They have your salsa, lettuce and sour cheese on the side to top your quesadilla if that's your thing.

Yelp
6/19/19 is a day that I will always want to forget. It was my first and only experience at Dittos. How has this "restaurant" been around seemingly forever? We were greeted by the staff telling us they were a server short. Looking around the restaurant and seeing that my group of 12 doubled the occupancy, we weren't worried. We waited for about 20 minutes in an empty restaurant to be seated. We waited for drink orders, and food orders. We waited and waited and waited some more. I would hate to see the place filled to capacity if a short staff couldn't handle the empty dining room that evening. One pro, the bread was good! The butter was buttery! The menu items were severely overpriced. The flavor in my hot chicken was nonexistent. It was an all around disappointing evening. Glad its over and doesnt need to be re-lived.

Yelp
The food was mundane. The service was inattentive and lackluster. This is not the Ditto's of even the recent past.

Yelp
This review is based on my brunch experience here. Take one look at their brunch menu and it's hard to decide on what to order. I'm still not sure if I ordered the correct thing. I glanced at the menu all week wanting one of their breakfast dishes. I wake up on Sunday and needed something sweet so I opted for the chicken and waffles. I've been by this restaurant no less than 350 times over my 14 years in Louisville. It has never looked appealing to me. This place is much larger than I thought it would be. They have a patio. A nice patio that's enclosed but it wasn't open during brunch? It seemed like a missed opportunity. The service was fine. There were only 6 or 7 tables during our 1.2 hours there. The server was around but it was also one of those missing in action situations. She would come check on us and then we wouldn't see her for a prolonged period of time. This wasn't an issue this time, but if I had somewhere to be or I was chugging water from a previous night's alcohol infused liver, then this would've been an issue. That might be why the patio wasn't open. We definitely would've been forgotten if we were sitting out there. Someone else described this place perfectly. This is Bardstown Road's version of Applebee's. It's obviously not that but it nails that Apple vibe. While it may not be the best place, it's a safe place to bring any picky out of towner. They'll certainly feel comfortable in this space. The Food: After deciding I needed something sweet for brunch, I ordered Ditto's chicken and waffles. This dish is tempura chicken atop a crispy Belgium waffle with blackberry citrus glaze, strawberries, and whipped cream. At 10 dollars, it's a few dollars more than it should be. Most chicken and waffle dishes that I'm familiar with have some type of crispy chicken. This tempura chicken was more like eating a funnel cake with my waffle. It was yummy but I don't need more than they gave me. The waffle was so-so. The dish had an abundance of whipped cream but not a lot of strawberries. I'm glad this comes with blackberry citrus glaze. It could use more of that. They also give you syrup but it's the small mass produced cups of fake syrup. If I'm paying 10 bucks for a waffle and chicken, at least give me legit syrup. I would love to try some of their other brunch items but it didn't leave an impression on me at all. The food is fine but with so many other brunch places in town, I doubt I'll be back.

Yelp
Haven't been here in years. Stopped by on a Wed night and there were maybe five tables occupied. Service was good, and the bartender made a good gimlet. Unfortunately the food was just not great. It wasn't bad, but was very unremarkable. I had the crispy chicken carbonara, and she had the Thai Salmon. Both were just ok. The salmon was lightly breaded and on a bed of rice w veggies. She noted it "tasted like Chinese take out"...and not in a good way. My carbonara wasn't extremely flavorful, and had a chicken filet not even sliced on a bed of noodles w sauce. Again...just ok. Maybe they'll revamp their menu, but our meal was both overpriced for what we received and pretty unremarkable, nothing that made us say "I can't wait to get back here again" (except the gimlets...they were VERY tasty)
