My room was unbelievably spacious, with a wonderful bed and great shower. I appreciated the Atelier Rebul "Istanbul" shower gel and hand lotions. The location is wonderful, on the doorstep of the citadel and its charming old streets. The restaurant has a spectacular view of Ankara. And there is a very interesting and quirky museum attached (all about 20th century advances in everyday technology). Best of all, the service was generous and friendly and prompt. I stayed here for my first three nights as a tourist in Turkiye and I could not have felt more welcome.

We stayed there during this summer. It is a unique hotel as it is a heritage site. It's a bit uphill so it has a very nice view of the city. The hotel was very clean. The bedroom was very nice, comfortable and well equipped. The breakfast was amazing. They serve the usual Turkish breakfast dishes and then you can get one main (either egg, porridge or pancakes). We tried everything and it was very good. The view from the restaurant is very nice. As a guest at the hotel, they let you visit the museum next door for free. Which was also very nice. The only thing I would add is, that most of the staff can communicate pretty well, however there was still some language barrier. But it was all fine and we don't have any complaints about that. I would totally recommend staying there.

Very pleasant stay in Ulus close to the Ankara castle. We stayed in a spacious room called the Indian room. The covered court yard of this historic Han was a great place to host friends from Ankara and play family games. Reception staff mr. Rauf was very helpful to advise on our questions and the valet service was excellent. A memorable stay!
