Me and my boyfriend stayed at Divan Çukurhan on 18–19 August, and it was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, the hotel gave me warm and positive vibes. It’s cozy, comfortable, spotless, and beautifully designed. I felt like I had stepped back in time, surrounded by the magic of old Turkey — as if I were inside the Ankara Castle centuries ago. The atmosphere and details really carried me through history. Every single staff member — from reception to security to the breakfast team — was so kind, welcoming, and attentive. The room had everything we needed, making our stay effortless. It was a unique and heartwarming experience. we absolutely loved it and would recommend it to anyone visiting Ankara!

Fabulous hotel, but THE STAFF!! Outstanding! A huge thank you to the front desk staff (Mehmet Alp, Emre, and Yusup)..we had a very late arrival and our suitcases were lost—Mehmet assured us that our driver would be waiting for us and basically held our hand till we entered our room—his reassurances and caring hospitality made our stay. The staff helped us track and recover our suitcases—so nice to know someone was looking out for us. From arranging a guide to pouring cocktails, this staff is stellar! Our room was absolutely lovely—beautiful bedding and wonderful pillows with divine amenities. The included breakfast—WOW! Just wow! Again, thank you for a lovely, lovely stay

The Divan Hotel organised a wedding ceremony, cocktail party, and after-party celebration for approximately 300 guests from around the world, including the US, Japan, UK, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Germany, Bulgaria, Switzerland, Italy, and more. |The location and the historically authentic building were amazing for my guests. The interior design of the saloon, as well as the rooms, was unique, reflecting the history of the capital city of the country.|The services provided at all levels were extremely pleasing for all my guests. Careful and respectful approaches of the staff were awesome. The meticulous work of the Manager, and particularly the Banquet Sales Supervisor, as well as the Chief Cook, ensured an outstanding preparation and finally thorough completion of the wedding event starting early in the evening and continuing the whole night. I am so thankful to Divan and its highly experienced and professional staff in realising such a wonderful organisation, which made it even more special for the bride and the groom, who will remember it with love and happiness. |I strongly recommend Divan Cukurhan not only for special events, but also for stays at an authentic premise in Ankara.

My stay at the Divan Cukarhan exceeded my expectations. I went in early July with my husband and 2 kids. I reserved 2 rooms and was delighted to find that my request of the rooms to be close to each other was met. Not only that, but each room was furnished with a different theme, both tastefully designed. The bathroom was very big with 2 sinks, the shower had strong pressure, the sheets and duvet were so soft and comfortable--everything inside the room was superb. ||Our kids also enjoyed the hotel library room and the attached museum very much. The collection was huge and I learned a lot about the Koc Family. ||What made our short 1 night stay even more enjoyable was being greeted by Yusif at Reception. He joked with us, walked us to our room to give an introduction of the hotel, suggested places to go in the evening, and upon our return from an evening out, we spent a good 15 minutes chatting with him. He was so friendly and open. We will remember the Divan (and Yusif) with fond and warm memories. |||The hotel is well located with the castle just across the street and it is surrounded by museums left and right. The castle entrance is free, as is the museum attached to the hotel, if you are residing here.||We believed that our choice of hotel in Ankara could not have been any better and am confident that all other guests are treated with the same warm hospitality. Set in the heart of historic Ankara and beautifully restored with a museum like level of detail. The hotel is a must stay for anyone visiting Ankara. The bar is wonderful with its own mini moat around the lounge area and breakfast is great too with wonderful views over the city. Totally unique stay.

Perfect location for Ankara, nice and attentive staff in a beautiful building. After staying a few days, when we returned to Ankara had no hesitation and booked again. We believe this is your best choice in town. Great valet parking and breakfast.

The hotel is very Turkish with a long history. The hotel museum is great. We spent 2 hrs in it. We had a dinner and breakfast in the hotel, the food is beyond my expectation. The hotel is just next to the old castle, it's very convenient for us. The parking is free. The staffs are helpful and friendly. We absolutely love this hotel.

Our stay was delightful. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with all standard amenities ( Suggestion : addition of an iron and iron board will be nice). The hotel's aesthetics, reminiscent of traditional Turkish wooden architecture with intricate carvings and warm tones, created a welcoming atmosphere. The staff were professional and accommodating, ensuring a smooth check-in process and a comfortable stay. A special mention to Abdullah, the restaurant manager, who tailored our breakfast to our preferences, making it a delightful start to our day. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we would gladly return.
