I was surprised that me and my friends popped in here late night and the service was super quick and the staff was nice even for the place to be packed. The fried crab balls taste like heaven and I didn't want to share with my friends but I did. Next time I go, I'm ordering it for myself. However we sent the crab dip back because it didn't taste as good. The crab balls set the bar way too high. But the staff understood and took it off the bill. Also the stacked Mac tastes like comfort food heaven. The drink specials are cheap, the food is quality and the vibe very much gives Pittsburgh bar.

Surprised by this random find, which turned out to be a hidden treasure. Our server Paul was exceptionally cordial and extremely knowledgeable about menu items, which was greatly appreciated. The humus platter was plentiful and scrumptious. But our ultimate pleasure was in the hanger steak & gouda risotto. Definitely would go back! The desert was good but not great (rasberry/lemon cake; we'll have to try a different one next time).

REALLY great cocktails with food that is just as good. Attentive service that's never pushy. Could use an interior update but this is definitely one if my favorite places where I can't decide on what to eat or drink because everything is SO good. Ahi Tuna Bites are probably my absolute favorite thing to get there.

A few days ago I had a delightful burger at this establishment. Last night, I came again with high hopes. Let’s just put it like this, do NOT get seafood here at all costs. This is completely my fault and I should have known the restaurant’s personnel better. But when you are advertising crab Mac n cheese for $28…it makes it seem as if it’s pretty good quality. Boy was I wrong. And don’t even get me started on the calamari. I’ve had good calamari before…I’ve had decent calamari before…and that was somewhere far lower. I spent $70 on food that I barely ate. This is probably the only poor dining experience I’ve ever had before. And by no means do I mean to talk poorly on the establishment because I’ve had a good experience before…but no reason in gods green earth should you be selling your seafood for that price when the quality is not there. My girlfriend was prepared to speak to the owner and stand up to the nonsense we had been served to us, but I decided it would be better for us to just move on. But in hindsight, I am regretting my decision to restrain her. Servers, cooks, this is not on you. This is on the owner who has provided this quality of seafood to the establishment and has charged that high of pricing. You guys have some good food…but, lower the price on the seafood.. actually scratch that..please take the seafood off the menu.

I’ve been here recently—decent apps, good beer list. But after moving nearby, I’ve had a very different experience. One of their kitchen staff routinely smokes weed right outside my apartment window (4-7 times a shift) and the smell fills my unit. It’s not only unprofessional, but inconsiderate to the neighborhood. It’s shocking that management hasn’t addressed this—there’s no reason a restaurant employee should be hotboxing the side of someone’s home.

Service was great, Lauren was the best. The flank steak risotto was delicious. Their happy hour is great covers beer wine liquor and appetizers. I'll definitely be back. A mac and cheese was good with the calamari and fried pickles. Parking wasn't bad. And I wasn't crowded or hard to get a table

Laid back but with great service every time. Food is great, beer selection is always ample and fresh, cocktails are great. Very good martini. KILLER Mac and cheese, awesome sandwiches, and so on.

Got into town for the game and a weekend with friends on Wednesday evening and decided to walk over from our Airbnb for a quick bite. The place is spotless and the vibe was chill with some locals hanging out. The bartender and server who were working that night were friendly and attentive.
We sat at the bar and had a couple of beers. Great selection of local and craft beers along with the usual staple of big boy names. The beer was cold and when the bartender stepped away for a second the server slid right on to refill our empty glasses.
We started with some pizza logs and they were delicious. I grew up in NW PA and this seems to be a staple bar food and I wish this was the case in Charlotte. The mozzarella they used was phenomenal. These didn’t stand a chance.
I went with the Gouda bacon burger with mac and cheese as my side. The burger was cooked to perfection and quite delicious, and the mac and cheese was creamy and tasty. Burgers are cooked to temp here which is always a plus.
