"Long Sunday Luncheons a lo Chileno Located in the tranquil tree-shaded setting at the base of the San Cristóbal hill, this classic Chilean restaurant is a favorite with local families, particularly for the long Sunday lunches on their balmy terrace. Traditional Chilean fare such as "pastel de choclo," corn pie, is a favorite here. Those with a sweet tooth should leave room for dessert--the sugary "leche nevada," made with pillowy quenelles of meringue in a creamy sauce sprinkled with cinnamon, is pure heaven. Av. Great location just within the entrance of the Pedro de Valdivia Metropolitan Park. We had dinner outside on the patio and it was wonderful! The service was great and the food/drink selection is big. We had the Pechuga de Pollo al Limón, the Spaghetti al Cartoccio, and a Moscow Mule. All very flavorful. We highly recommend the Spaghetti al Cartoccio. Absolutely delicious! We had to treat ourselves to the Creme Brulle and the Mousse de Navegado. Highly recommend the Creme Brullle.

I'm sorry but they took 50 minutes to bring a poorly cooked salmon. We asked specifically that we wanted it well cooked but it was brought raw. We complained and had to wait even more. The waitress wasn't very friendly also. I'm sorry but I don't recommend this place. The best thing is the outdoor vibe but the service is poor

They have different foods, especially exotic. A good place to share with family, friends. Chile 👍🏼

After a fare bit of exploring in the park we decided to stop for lunch in the park at around 2:30pm. While most of the park offers quick food like hot dogs and ice cream, we found a nice restaurant with outdoor seating near the last aerial tram stop. If exploring the park, this would be the one closest to the bottom of the hill. I was ready to have a bland tourist trap meal, but we quickly noticed that quite a few local business professional were coming in for drinks and appetizers. We kept our fingers crossed, hoping if the locals like it, it will be good! The meal started strong with a caprese salad for me, and a mixed seafood ceviche for my husband. We also ordered 2 cheese empanadas and 2 pinos (ground beef) for my husband. Chile is known for the ground beef empanadas. The food in Chile has been particularly bland but we both felt that this meal was off to a great start. My salad was full of flavor and my husband enjoyed his ceviche. Next the main course. My husband ordered a mixed seafood pasta that came out of the oven and they cut the parchment paper that sealed it right in front of us. I had an absolutely delicious dish of homemade ravioli stuffed with spinach and ricotta cheese in a sage & butter sauce. We both were completely surprised and pleasantly fulfilled with this meal. We would be happy to recommend Divertimento Chileno to anyone looking for lunch while in the park.

In general, the meat was overcooked, way too dry. I had the 'guiso de cordero a la mostaza', it was tasty as expected, but then again, the meat was dry, even when being the second best dish according to the waiter. I was lucky to have asked for a dish with sauce, the 'ossobuco' and 'costillar' were way too dry with no sauce to try and save them. Best dish we had was the 'pulpitos', which was an entree. The service in general was great, except for the receptionist who received me with an awful look. So blame the receptionist not the waiters. In general would not recommend, especially for the price. We all expected more.

Like many tourists we found this gem at the end of the Teleférico ride from Pio Nono, for a late lunch. The restaurant was packed and we were turned away, but as we began to head off a couple left so we were able to jump in! After being in Chile for a few days we were seeking the ‘Chile seafood experience’ - we found it here. Ordered the pulpinos, baked clams and parmesan, garlic prawns and the crab chowder. The dishes were hearty, quite tomato-based and tasty and reminded very much of Italian methods of cooking. Paired with some good Chilean whites and reds, couldn’t go wrong!

Divertimento Chileno has fabulous staff that will make you feel at home even if you are far from yours! María Jose was our server and she went out of her way to show us kindness and hospitality. 10/10 recommend!

Yelp
This place has no right to have as good food as it did, or as great service. It seems like a tourist trap, at the bottom of the gondola going up San Cristobal - so we expected over priced under performing food - but the prices were more than reasonable, portions were large and the staff was so accommodating and friendly. We got there shortly before the afternoon kitchen closure. Like a lot of chilean restaurants the kitchen will shut down for a bit between lunch and dinner. We were able to order quickly and get food in. The waitress was very nice about checking in on if we wanted dessert or anything else right before they shut it down. We were seated outside (I actually never went in) on a beautiful patio. It was right off the main walkway out of the gondola walk way, but was still peaceful and felt a bit secluded. I wanted something light: so got the Garbanzos Trufados (truffled chickpeas). It was a solid meal and absolutely delicious. Probably one of my favorite meals of the whole trip. I also had the cherimoya drink which was great. Would absolutely recommend and go back to.

Yelp
Came here today on behalf of the hotel staff and the manager states it's closed 1 hours before it's posted closing time. I wasted a uber trip and now I have to find dinner plans

Yelp
So my parents and I went after spending the day trekking around Cerro San Cristóbal. We were dressed athletically, which meant we were underdressed. They are not the most tourist-friendly. I mean they did have menus in English but our waitress was kind of abrupt. She ended up getting us a male waiter who spoke English. The food was very good (pastel de choclo, empanadas, pisco sours, and leche asada). The original female waitress cleared our dishes at the end and blatantly wrapped in a napkin and then pocketed the one empanada my mom didn't eat. This was awkward and unprofessional to do it right in front of us but hey at least it didn't go to waste. Lastly, on the way out right as we walked by a group of waiters, one of them called us gringos and they laughed. That may or may not be an insult but seriously, you couldn't wait until we were out of earshot?

Yelp
Super creative menu and high quality ingredients in a beautiful park setting, especially on the patio during warm weather. Wanted to try almost everything on the menu but settled on a grilled Southern Hake topped with garlic and chili infused shrimp. It was perfectly cooked and delicious. The service is also excellent with fast, attentive service by a team of servers.
