Divi Aruba All Inclusive Resort

Can you say paradise??? We travel a lot with our children and although we have other bucket list islands, this is the 1 island we WILL return to as a family! First - the beach is the best I've put my toes in. Been to Jamaica, DR, Mexico. Waves were amazing, fun enough for the kids and relaxing enough for adults. Resort, most of it is renovated, feels new, just think dream island paradise. Pools were great, well maintained, fun to swim. Food was also awesome. Buffet had great options, watching my 8yo order her own omelet was fun. Opportunity there was the coffee. Came from a slow machine. Lunch and dinner options here we're on par with anywhere I've stayed. The bars were poaistioned perfectly and the bar tenders were professional, fun and perfect vibe for vacation. Lunches were at the at pool bar where service was great and sandwiches and personal pizzas were a fav with the kids. Restaurants were also amazing. You get the ones at the Tam too. Our family is torn for a fav, we recommend them all. Make reservations 2 days ahead of time. The kids loved the entertainment nightly too and this place is really just so fun. The rooms were a little small for 2 kids and 2 adults but my only real concern is that of the security.... First.... I felt safe the entire time on and off resort.... BUT... We were on ground level and at night they check back doors to make sure they are locked. Sooo two men showed up at our back door trying the door.... Not cool. They did work there, but felt sketchy to me. We talked to front desk and they said that policy is that if the door is unlocked, they will enter your room, lock the back door and exit the front door. No thank you.... This trip was a dream though. Being the sunblock. The sun is strong. We will be excited to come back and thinking about this trip for a long time. Our kids love Aruba!

We came to this resort because a friend recommended it. However, when we got here it was not what we expected. Customer service wis horrible! One person by the main pool getting drinks and he disappears for a long time so, you have to get your own drink. Fridge in rooms were not stock , not even water. Ac in my room not working , maintenance showed up at 11 at night when we were already sleeping because the resort was so boring. All restaurants were reserved, so you can’t even get an Apointment and we had to eat the buffet. You go to the beach area and there is no fountain to wash your feet after. I was here for my anniversary and try to get a refund for my remaining days and could not they wanted to charge half of the days I had booked, they don’t even have an outdoor hot tub. Not worth it. We went to the renaissance before and it was by far much better. Do not waste your money and time. Divi all inclusive not Worth your money. You can have a better vacation somewhere else where they can appreciate you as a customer!

My family of 11 (8 adults, 3 kiddos) stayed here the week of New Years Eve - we had a total blast! Food was great, especially the ala carte restaurants. Special shout out to the Club Margot restaurant - what a treat! Cocktails were plentiful with top shelf liquor selections. People were friendly, service was great. One of the best all inclusives I’ve been too. If you can spring for it - get a lanai room on the beach. So amazing to walk out your door and be on the beach. I honestly don’t know how anyone can complain about this place. You need to remember - everyone here is on “island time” so slow down, relax, have a sense of humor - whatever you need will get done. The NYE fireworks were so special and the entertainment was awesome. Loved the jitneys between the Divi resorts - super easy to get around. Free activities like e-bikes. Plus a little hut on the beach that offers snorkels, etc. Pool area was relaxing and fun. Buffets were great for breakfast and lunch. We will definitely be back!

The resort is beautiful. It was wonderful being able to enjoy all of the pools and all of the restaurants. The buffet was hit or miss. The restaurants that you have to make a reservations were amazing (except Red Parrot, it was just okay) The restaurants had delicious, quality, appetizers, entrées, and cocktails. The service was exceptional! Speaking of service, the service at the resorts; Divi & Tam was also hit or miss, mainly miss. Most of the staff obviously did not enjoy their job nor did they understand (or care about) customer service. They would talk to each other in a normal manner and then barely give the customer the time of day, almost as if we were bothering them. This included the staff at the buffets, the front desk, the bartenders, & the concierge in both resorts. There were a 2 of concierges, 1 girl that made omelets, 2 bartenders & the housekeepers that were very pleasant. We made sure and tipped them often and let them know how much they were appreciated. To sum it up, the resort is nice & the beaches were beautiful, would I go back? No, because of lack of service & friendliness.

We stayed here several times. As always everything and everyone was great. |The hotel is located directly on the Divi beach in a quiet location about three or four bus stops to beautiful Oranjestad. |It offers excellent value considering its All Inclusive regime. We enjoy not having to worry and having to plan where we eat next or to go grocery shopping and cook. |The resort is amazingly well managed and beautiful. |Our room had a very nice view and was nice and clean. Beds are so comfortable. |The beach is clean and SO amazing. Chairs and towels are plenty, clean and fresh. |Drinks and pizza at the bars PERFECT. |Very nice entertainment every evening. |The food is excellent and tasty. Reminding of nicely cooked home food. Many of the items are cooked to order but only takes a few minutes. There are so many choices and there is something for everyone. |You can have beef tenderloin and two three kinds of grilled fish every single day!!!!|ALL the staff at all levels provide a great service. We were very happy with everyone. |Management went out of their way helping us with extending our stay. |Supporting staff at reception helped us getting a room that matched our wishes. |In the dining area EVERYONE was just so nice they all served us perfectly and with dedication. |The Red Perot, Pure Lime, Paparazzi ala cart restaurants a must try. |We will return many times more for sure.

We had an relaxing time at Divi Aruba All inclusive. Restaurant options were plenty and very good . We were Pleasantly surprised that even the buffet had fresh and nice options. For breakfast, they offered fresh smoothies and pressed juice. Along with made to order crêpes waffles and omelettes. We loved our room our bed was comfortable. We were 2 minutes walk to the beach or pool and most importantly to the coffe stand . With amazing Barista that made our Carmel Lattes on point . They also yummy Croissants and banana bread . Our favorite bartender was name Curtis. We had enjoyed our time here .

booked a 4 night "ocean view" at Divi Aruba all inclusive in November at US$750 a night, with high expectation before arrival. It did not feel like an up scale hotel for the price we paid when arrived, I've seem more decorated, high-end lobby in Hawaii, Mexico and Las Vegas than this one in Aruba. Did not expect check-in staff dressed so casually (not against the employees, just the uniform come from the hotel), next is the wristband for all the guests at the hotel, it's a 1/2" width plastic band with color looks just like prisoner wristband, it is embarrassing. Scuffed up and finger-printed stainless steel walled elevator took us to our room on the top floor (4th). A typical 2 1/2 star room with rusted bath sink, bath towels feel like 400 grit sand paper, only no -name brand shower gel, shampoo and conditioner provided and nothing else. A 32" TV on a scratched up furniture. Next is Ocean View as I paid extra for it, (big mistake) problem is the lower 50% of the view is block by another building, so there's not much to see, just some far distance water and blue sky. This is not the end yet. first night dinner we went for buffet at 7pm since other 4 restaurant required pre booking. food at the buffet was disappointed, chicken was dry and beef was tough. Well, you get the idea. I've been to other 5 stars hotel in other countries get what I paid for. This one is 5 star price with 2 1/2 star quality. ( did I mention plastic flowers along the major route to the hotel)

The highlight of our Divi All-Inclusive stay was the free ebike and snorkeling excursion to Boca Catalina. Our guides Kef, Calvin and Donny were just amazing. They took great care of all of us, from the 12-year-old to those who are 60+. They made sure we stayed safe, saw sea turtles and enjoyed the entire experience. The Divi itself was probably a 4 star experience; we’re raising it to five stars because of this free excursion. Divi positives include a great location on the beach, fun entertainment, easy access to amenities, and a cheerful staff. Cons include a “meh” buffet (but the kids loved it) and the removal of almond milk from the breakfast buffet on our second day (it never returned, which was a real inconvenience for those who are dairy intolerant). Although the restaurants were great, it can also be challenging to make reservations at popular sites. Since some members of our group are old enough to have to get up in the middle of the night, we were able to work around this by registering in the early morning hours and sometimes registering as two smaller groups, rather than one large group of seven. We highly recommend the Ginger and Club Margot restaurants.
