Divi Aruba Phoenix Beach Resort

I had the most relaxing massage done today by Claudia! I will go again! Atmosphere was comfortable, music was great! Her technique was firm and consistent! The area itself is clean and the staff i credible friendly. I love starting with a warm rose water foot soak! And end with aromatics! Simple wonderful!

A little dated, but they are working through it with refresh scheduled to resume in April 2025 with the final phase. Rooms were perfect for our needs. A bit of a musty smell due to proximity to water, but they did have a dehumidifier in place to help offset. Security personnel were so friendly and a pleasure to interact with. Palapa reservation system would add value, but I honestly didn’t mind getting up each morning and making my way down to grab one. It became a nice part of my routine. Views of the ocean are amazing from the balcony and the bed was very comfortable. Is it perfect? No, but it was a wonderful vacation and I would absolutely return to stay here again. I love the proximity to the beach, burgers and drinks at Waves on beach were fabulous, Pure Ocean was a highlight for dinner.

We just got back from our annual vacation to the Divi Phoenix. We have owned timeshare here for over 30 years. We stayed in the Phoenix 2 towers which recently received a small interior update….a nice refresh. My son and his family stayed in the villas which were recently fully renovated and look great now especially since the tubs were removed and they now have a walk in shower. Is everything perfect with the rooms…well no because of visitor abuse in my opinion. We did get placed in a room that had some plumbing issues and we were quickly moved to another room. If there is a fixable issue we call for Gabriel in maintenance who always comes quickly and assess the problem and fixes is. For example our washer was leaking and the plastic strip on the side of the shower door was coming off….in my opinion some people do not bother getting these small issues dealt with and then they become a bigger problem. Yvette and Claudia at the front desk always try to accommodate our room choice and we are appreciative of that. Michelle from concierge who also hosts the member’s party is always approachable. The pool and beach crew are the best…. they are like family to us…. this year we treated them to pizza as they work so hard to assure our comfort on the beach. Thank you Sandra, Julio 1, Julio 2, Ariel and Juan. Also very impressed with Joel who is the new pool and beach supervisor….he is very hands on and approachable as well. A few negatives for me are the hard style mattress which I asked the housekeeper (don’t have her name) to add some extra toppers on the bed and she did…..it helped a bit. Also, since we do cook some meals in the kitchen the cooking utensils are awful….we will be bringing our own in future since we stay longer than one week. The new butcher knife set is excellent though. Thank you Divi Phoenix for another wonderful vacation….it doesn’t get any better than walking 30 seconds and being on the beach and the additional new palapas are great too.

Have been going for breakfast at the restaurant at the beach for the last year plus. Great view of the waterfront and very relaxing. However, the last couple of times the food has come cold. Did not say a word the first time. Second time, advised our server and she apologized. But it came back cold again. Asked to speak to a supervisor who was most polite and advised us: believe there is a problem where the new A/C which was put in the kitchen and it blows on the food ready to be picked up by the servers. So third time was better. Neither supervisor nor server did anything to ensure we return. Should have at least comped for part of the meal. So for now, we will be avoiding it.

Beautiful resort, perfect beach area, stunning pools and friendly, compitent and knowledgeable staff. The helpful concierge staff made all reservations and were very knowledgeable about the area.|Our room was clean, nicely appointed with almost everything I could need in a kitchen!|My favorite staff member was Sandra Mora who always had a smile for everyone!

We loved Phoenix Aruba resort, where we stayed 3 weeks. We have been impressed by how everything and all their services were working properly and the rooms were supplied with everything you needed. Staff was friendly and professional. They have wonderful welcome party every week. We really think this was because of the great professional work of resort's general manager Ms. Lake. She was easily available to all guests if you wanted to speak with her and she is very helpful. We will be happy to return there.||We have visited other resorts to compare with.|We first stayed many years ago at Marriott Ocean Club and thought that we probably won't return to Aruba: tiny beach, to get palapa you need to get up before 6 am, then stay in line and pay $10 (back then) per palapa that is far away from the sea. |Then we tried Paradise Beach villas and Cabanas resorts on Eagle beach, where we were afraid to swim in the sea in designated areas because of jet skies facilities located right by each of their beach areas. Their jets' noise and them trying to enter the protected swim areas and try to scare you to run over you. Our complaints to resort management did not do anything. We have no interest to return there either.

the divi phoenix villas were in a perfect location on a perfect island with great amenities! Has a great beach, plenty of huts for guests, swim up bars pool side lunch , happy hour bingo all afternoon. Staff is excellent happy and helpful. Great vacation for all age groups

This resort is like going home to visit an old friend. We have friendships well over 10 years with people here. There are no guarantees in life except the smiles you'll recieve here. Wonderful spot! The only downside is that when you leave you'll spend the next year dreaming about going back!
