Divinity Restaurant & Lounge Bar

Came here for the views and was not disappointed. We stayed through sunset and it was absolutely stunning. The cacio e pepe was delicious, the local wine was crisp, and the staff was super friendly. Sipping wine while looking at the Pantheon on a weekday is not too bad haha. Totally worth it for the experience and the view.

Outstanding Service & Delicious Food Felicia and Roberto were absolutely fantastic. The service was top-notch, warm, and attentive, and the food was one of the best meals we had in Italy. We asked for whipped cream with our waffle, and Roberto went out of his way to get a fresh batch made just for us — such a thoughtful touch. Truly excellent hospitality. Management should be very proud of them.

We spontaneously went to the rooftop bar/ terrace in the afternoon and really enjoyed the cozy and very beautiful aesthetic atmosphere. The drinks were good, and the service was very friendly, attentive, and welcoming. A lovely spot to relax.

I booked this place as a surprise birthday dinner for my wife during our trip to Rome, and it was a terrible experience. We were seated on the rooftop side but facing a tomato tree decoration that blocked the main view of Sant’Ivo, even though the staff had promised in advance via email that “each table has a wonderful view on Sant’Ivo Church.” Better tables were free, yet we were given this obstructed spot. The food was awful: spaghetti frutti di mare undercooked (below al dente) and way too salty. The margherita pizza was ruined with paprika (not even mentioned on the menu). Service was poor, after serving once, no one came back to our table, while they constantly attended a large group nearby. I even had to get up to ask for someone. My surprise was ruined. We left without dessert on my wife’s birthday. Worst Italian restaurant I’ve ever tried. Absolutely avoid it, especially for special occasions.

We got an afternoon drink here and it was an absolutely stunning view. They made me a custom cocktail based on my preferences and it was delicious. Our waiter was also lovely and told us about some history of the buildings we could see. A bit expensive to what we usually spend on a cocktail but so worth it for the experience

Ok, so I made an online booking for Davinity restaurant expecting the rooftop terrace given the online pics. Divinity restaurant is on the same level but inside and with no view. That said, when I arrived at 8.30pm there was no problem heading straight to the terrace with many spare tables and we didn’t go to the restaurant at all. In fact I didn’t see anyone in the restaurant and my reservation name was never taken. That being said, dinner on the terrace consists only of a few tapas and pizza options which suited us fine. In fact given the generous selection of snacks served with our drinks, we only had a few tapas and we were full. So a somewhat cheap night. Overall, well worth the visit. The view is beautiful and the sunset was amazing. We chose to sit at a high table to the far right which turned out to be the best spot I think for sunset pics. Also, high tables allow you to look at the view and the streets below. We chose the cheapest rose on the menu at €60 and a few tapas dishes at €13-14 and we were done. We visited July 9th and I was surprised it was not busy. By the time we left around 10.30pm most tables taken but you could still sit inside at the bar which looked very nice.

The New Year’s Eve package was at 350 Euros excluding drinks. Wine card over priced and a small beer at 13 Euros. At these prices you can expect more than what we have experienced. The quality of food is very far away from a Michelin star or even any other rating. The chef should be checking if he wants to give his name for the poor dinner on the roof top. Service was good and ambiance very nice, but if you have a minimum of gourmet sense you should go somewhere else next year.

We had lunch at the Divinity restaurant mid of August. I booked a table two hours ahead, pointing out that I would like to stay at the "restaurant" or, if the weather permits, stay at the rooftop terrace. When we arrived, the staff advised us that the restaurant was closed and lunch was being served in the bar area. Staying outside on the terrace was impossible, as no umbrellas were opened. To make the point clear, during booking, the staff should have informed me correctly since having lunch at the bar is a different experience than staying at the restaurant. But, to be fair, the place is very stylish, and one has stunning views from the roof terrace. Tasting Italian cuisine from all regions for over 40 years, I can judge that the dishes were good and well done, but nothing outstanding. On the other hand, the staff repeatedly pointed out that "pizza" is served each evening on the terrace. So, probably the restaurant considers its strength in offering pizza. The service was professional and friendly. To sum up, this is a great place if the terrace or restaurant is open, but other restaurants may be more suitable if you are looking for particular dishes.

One of the best meals of my life. The carbonara here is made to perfection ! My wife and I had the best time on our date at this rooftop restaurant ! A must go when in Rome!

This is the hotel restaurant with a menu created by Michelin-starred Chef Pasquale Palamaro. It's awesome We were there later on a Friday night during August when most of the local crowd is at the sea so we had there full attention The staff is superb and the sommelier we had that night guided is through the menu and the wine pairings The desert wines were outstanding with the Muffato della sala being the one that stands out the most This was a great overall dining experience and highly recommend if this is the splurge night out in Rome
