Mayoor Indian Bistro

Last night my friends and I went for dinner at this restaurant, got to know that it is under new management. The food was really good, quality is far more better than the previous one and we loved everything that we ordered. Highly recommend this restaurant, and do try their imli baigan, papdi chat, reshmi kabab, vegetable biryani, lamb rogan josh, chicken chettinad and onion chilly naan.

Happy I checked out this spot for Indian food. The food was very delicious. Rashma helped us finalize our options. The sauces were saucy-ing! The pictures speak for themselves. Definitely would come again. :)

I have been here several times and every visit is such a treat! I have had the naan, lassi, basmati rice and chicken tikka masala and everything has been amazing. The atmosphere is also so sweet at night.

Really cute place and service is friendly and fantastic. Reasonable prices, very tasty fresh food. Goat biriyani was so so delicious .We will come back soon. Highly recommend you have to try this place

Nice service and very good curry and garlic naan! The place was clean and the owner was really kind. He didn't give any pressure but kept checking our water and everything. I'd like to return :)

Just okay. Consistently bland. We had chicken tikka masala and a lamb dish, with naan and lemonade. Even the lemonade lacked flavor. Customer service sub par. Naan was my favorite.

Delicious flavors and lovely service! We came for the lunch special and they brought us complimentary mini samosas as well. We started with the lasuni gobi which was spicier and crispier than I’ve had at other places but different in a good way. For our entrees we had the mango chicken curry (THE BEST) and the lamb madras. Both came with rice, naan and lentils - $10 each! We will definitely be back.

Brought my fam in, it was great. Our server was very kind and gave us free dessert. The restaurant itself was clean and inviting.

The new owners at Mayoor (formerly Diwan Grill) are unbelievably kind and make fantastic food. I've been 3 times since they opened recently and each time is remarkable. The flavors are great and everything is presented very well. The Bleh Luro, Lasuni Gobhi, Puchka and ALL of their paneer dishes are so good! This place is a must if you're in the area.

this place has such a cozy environment. the server was so kind, and even helped when we were ordering with some of her recommendations. we started off with a couple masala chais to sip on while we waited for our entrees- chicken chettinad and maatar paneer(server's rec) w/ a side of garlic naan. they even gave us some rice pudding on the house! could not recommend this place more!

Not as good as the Indian restaurant before it (Diwan Grill) BUT, as Indian foods #1 fan who has tried probably 35 Indian spots in NYC, I would consider Diwan the best in the entire city so Mayoor had an uphill battle in the first place. That being said, I still choose mayoor over the other options in the Brooklyn at least. The butter chicken is the best I've found (basic, but tells you a lot about the rest).

Reasonably priced, very good food with fresh naan and friendly staff! They have good sit down options as well as take out and a lunch special. Lamb vindaloo was great!
