I recently stayed with my husband at your hotel and had a truly wonderful experience. The rooms were fresh, modern, and very comfortable, making my stay relaxing and enjoyable. I would like to highlight the excellent service provided by the staff. Everyone except Badr, Rashid, and Mohammed was exceptionally kind, helpful, and attentive. They were always ready to assist with any issue or request, and their positive attitude made a big difference throughout my stay. It’s clear that the hotel has put great effort into reopening after being closed for a long time, and it shows. I believe that with this level of hospitality, more guests will be drawn to the hotel and will appreciate the welcoming atmosphere just as I did. Thank you for a lovely time, and we wish you continued success with many happy Lamiaa and Gristopher

What I like about the hotel: 1. Strategic place. Only 100 meters from the central plaza 2. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful 3. Breakfast was in a big portion. Also nice quality of breads 4. Fair price with the room we got, location, and breakfast 5. We can pay with Euro or Dirham However a thing that is nice to consider to be upgraded is about the toilet. On the top floor i stayed, the shower was broken and it had only one small hanger. The toilet was also not very clean. But overall i can recommend this place for group or backpacker

I stayed in Cecil for a 3 nights and I had very pleasant experiences. The hotel is classified as budget however I haven’t faced any of the issues mentioned in previous reviews. Location is just spot on right in the middle of the main square.|Staff members are lovely, internet works well. Rooms are clean and warm. You can take a nice hot shower there’s no problem with that. If you are visiting Morocco and you are about to travel around a lot then the place is perfect.|If you hope for the pool and spending whole days around it this is not for you! |Some rooms are quite other can be a bit noisy as there’s lots of going on around until around 2am. I would recommend a good earplugs to avoid disappointment . There’s a very nice lady making breakfast which is also included in the morning. Continental style with a nice honey, very fresh bread and pastry, strong coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice.|Thank you Cecil for your hospitality.

Except for the location, I don't find anything comfortable. Worth for one night stay without expectations. Overrated and their maintenance is not up to the standard. 2stars especially for "Staff comment on something not comfortable to hear, make fun of customers." No toiletries, Just large towel for a shared accommodation. AC fitted but no remote or switch, In the shared shower room: Shower head broken. No floor mat inside the room, No clothes hanger but hanger bar fitted... Basically no basic facilities.

A big and friendly hotel riad. A bit noisy as it caters for families and is popular with a younger age of adventurous folk from all over the world. The Main square is 1 min walk and can be heard from the large terrace, breakfast was good, beds comfortable. Our first room had a strong Marrakesh sewer smell.. but the manger swapped us with no worries and typical Moroccan hospitality.

Nice central rooms with rooftop for breakfast. Rather close to main square - so rather noisy during the evenings. Need some renovation but more or less maintained well.

+ Perfect location, close to the square. + Value for money is quite great. + The terrace is really cozy, you can hear the vibes from the square and the muezzin from many nearby mosques. -------- - They claim on the site that they speak English, while they do not. - The price of washing changes every day (?), feels like you have to haggle here too. - It is located in a hidden alley with not very pleasant neighbourhood (one time I was offered hashish twice during my 50 meter trip to the small shop). - Breakfast was decent portion on the first day but the following days it was less and less and we always had to ask for different things. - Bathroom could be cleaner, plus there was a leakage at the bottom of the tap, so plenty of water flowed around it. - For some reason, the fire alarm activated during one night which was really annoying, especially because turning it off did not completely turned it off and later on it occurred again.

If you're looking to be right in the action in the middle of Marrakech and don't want to pay a fortune, it's hard to go past this hotel. ||Stayed for 3 nights in an ensuite room and the room itself was hard to fault, it's not the Ritz but it was clean and comfortable. The rest of the hotel was clean and well maintained, no lifts though so probably not the best for families or people with mobility issues. Free breakfast on the roof terrace was a nice touch.||Only loses a star as the rooms are quite poorly insulated from noise, found it hard to sleep when we could hear people walking around the hotel at night, as well as people on the roof terrace. Also could do with some more English speaking staff, check out was made quite difficult as a result.
