Good service, spacious rooms and tasty breakfast - definitely worth the price

I experienced this property with my family last weekend. Location is great, the size of the rooms are big enough and well equipped. Only negatice comment is that, there is no biciycle parking option in the property. Hovewer, Hanifi supported us and we found place close by. Once more, thank you Hanifi, you saved our trip :) I recommend this property and will deffinitely come back.

Great place to stay! Already a great place for group of friends, additionally good place for families as well. Parking is not easy on the otherhand nice breakfast, good recommendations with no money focus and great cleanliness. Big thanks to Hanifi for hosting us perfectly!

Stayed here for one night in September 2014 with my partner and son.||A good location for a family visit to Bremen. The hostel is right on the river front, a short walk or cycle ride from the city centre. There are cafes, beer gardens and bars minutes away, but not too close to be noisy.||We had a large family room (4 bunks) on the top floor in the newish extension. This was ideal for our needs, with en suite bathroom and cot provided. Our area of the hostel was nice and peaceful.||Elsewhere in the hostel, there's a roof terrace and games room with vending machines. The reception area sells beers and coffee. All theae areas were pretty quiet during our stay.||We took breakfast the next day, which was fine - typical buffet fare. One problem was the sheer nunber of large groups staying at the hostel, who all arrived for breakfast at once and caused huge queues. This could have been better managed. ||One note if you're arriving by car - there is limited on street parking available and ths hostel can provide a permit for overnight parking. However this expires at 8am next day and they can't let yoy have an additional permit for day of departure. So be prepared to leave early, or else nip out and put extra time on via pay and display. We left our car with bikes on a rack overnight and they were fine, which suggests the area is quite secure. ||All in all, a good location and clean, functional rooms makes this a good base for a family visit to Bremen.

Basic clean hostel with good size family room. Staff on reception very nice and helpful. No access to dining area outside meal times. Super roof terrace with views of the river. No parking in hostel and the on street parking is confusing!||Nice place, would recommend.

Simply great value for money. Very friendly personal, clean rooms and a great breakfast. I would have loved to have more electric sockets. 2 in a 6 bed bedroom are rather few.

Arrived before the rest of our group and received a friendly welcome. We got really good advice how the parking in that area works, where the facilities were.||Room was sparse, big & functional - but the beds were so narrow, pillows in typical massive fluffy (read: no substance) fashion. The room was big enough for a double bed, why they opted on ship-style bunks is beyond me. I am an average 5ft6 but hte toilet was too high.||Breakfast is a continental affair, which came with free coffee/hot chocolate from a big dispensing machine - shame. As we received fresh made coffee in individual thermos flasks on the ferry - so it can be done. Otherwise great choice.||Location is really good for the pedestrian zone, sightseeing, pubs & restaurants.||Bremen is a very pretty city

The location of the hostel is very good, right by the river, The direction provided by the hostel was detailed enough and on arriving at Bremen airport, I took the tram and followed the instuctions and it was easy to locate. Having arrived on an early flight, I was pleased when the hostel allowed me to check in at 10.30am. The staff are friendly and helpful. ||The walk to the old town is pleasant and you ca walk on the main road or hop on the tram, or walk along the river. Short walking distance. ||The thing that I have a complaint about is that there are no reading lights, well anyway not in the Female dormitory, Also there is no floor mat outside the shower cubicle. only one glass pane to cover and floor get quite slippery after someone has showered. ||Other than that the hostel is good.
