Swiss Youth Hostel Membership first not accepted only with extreme intervention. Room not cleaned. Location is very central and perfect. Great potential if only the people management would find its focus...

Great rooms with partially good view, but great location with a view of the main harbor and the Elbphilharmony.

The service was so good the location is not the best for family or kids. And the rooms was clean but in my bed I did find sth red that wasn't actually clean. It will be so good if you take with you bed linen. About food I don't have sth to say I am so speechless it was the worst food that I have eaten in my life. It was so bad that I had to eat from restaurant or McDonald's. But also guys you can't take with you food from out like fast food or sth. But luckily they will not check it. It will be good if you have bag with you and hide it just in there. It was with my class it is class trip Andy teacher was sick cause of the food.i was thre for 5 days tomorrow is last day and I did spend more than 75 just on food. I didn't want to buy sth that will made me sick.

Good location, rooms are mid, the place is almost empty, dinner was not served the evening I was there. The big downside is that there are no locker for your belongings. There is a place downstairs where you can leave your belongings but you can't lock the doors shut, even if you bring your own lock, so everyone can access... The risk is probably low but don't come if you're the kind to get stressed about getting you stuff stolen.

Great youth hostel. Good breakfast options included in the price. Rooms very good - spacious lockers and basic amenities, key card access. Pillows are terrible, bring your own! Great views of docks

DJH Jugendherberge Hamburg „Auf dem Stintfang“ is an okay hostel close to Hamburg’s port. Breakfast was decent though the bed price was pricey and the price you see in booking is for members thus if not one then you have to pay extra. Stuff is friendly. For the lockers in the room you need coins..

Value for money accommodation. Location was right behind the public transport station, but lots of stairs up to the building! Quiet place, wooden beds were squeaking, room would need some modernization, personal storage space for luggage, toilet and shower was available in the room, cold breakfast, wifi good for chats

More central will be hard to find. What i liked: - very affordable - great location if you travel by public transport - views from dining room are good, overlooking harbour - friendly staff Definitely will return again.

This is probably my favourite hostel in Hamburg. The view from my room (211) was phenomenal. You could see the Landungsbrücken from there. The location is awesome as well. You just have to take some stairs from the Landungsbrücken subway station. Their pricing is fair. You don't need any cash, except for the lockers and the bar. Dinner is extra, but if you book it in advance, it's way cheaper. And it's quite good for the price. It's also a very clean hostel.
