Recently, I spent a night at a hostel and would like to share my experience.
Starting with the positives, the rooms in the hostel were genuinely clean, which is always nice. I was particularly impressed by the spacious backyard, which was a great place to relax. The hostel’s location was also very convenient, especially for cyclists, which is definitely a big plus.
Unfortunately, there were more negative aspects. The shower cabins left much to be desired: they were not very clean, and there were no soap dispensers, which was inconvenient. A major downside was the lack of electrical outlets in the room. For eight people, there were only three outlets, which is clearly insufficient. Additionally, there were no outlets near the beds, which also caused inconvenience.
Upon check-in, it was mandatory to purchase their membership. This is a strange requirement, especially for people who do not plan to stay there regularly. Although the hostel claims to have Wi-Fi, in reality, there was none in the room or the backyard, which was quite inconvenient.
The breakfast menu was very limited, offering only muesli, boiled eggs, sandwiches, and pancakes. People following a specific diet would be better off bringing their own food.
Overall, the hostel left an average impression. The price does not match the quality of the services provided.
