I was here for 4 days to attend a seminar. From the bus station to the Schloss took ca. 15 minutes walking, but the route is quiet confusing and needed the extra energy because the Schloss is up on the hill.
But you know the phrase well: "When everything feels like an uphill struggle, think about the view from the top."
And it was enchanting. The hills and houses view from afar are so pretty, I could not help myself to take lots of picture.
It was a surprising fact to me, too, that what used to be a castle turned out to be youth hostel. It was my first time sleeping in a 'castle' and I can still the castle through the architecture and the decoration.
Unfortunately, the bed is too small and it made my body ached. The heater didn't work well and I was there on March when it was quiet windy and cold, the bathroom is also too small.
The breakfast was good, but not that best. There's also a menu for a vegetarian.
There is a piano where you can play, a vending machine for sweets and drinks, it's nice.
The building is quiet confusing at first as it has many corridors, but I found it fascinating.
They also have field for us to play volley ball, basketball, tennis table, and there's also an underground "Spielzimmer".
It's a great hostel for "kinder" or kids, but when you are 20 or you are tall enough, you need to accept the pain your body feel when you sleep here.
Overall, I am having a good time in this castle. :)
