Google
A really magical spot to try out authentic Vietnamese food. Everything we ordered was fresh, prepared with care and smelled amazing. But I can't give 5 stars because we've been feeling rushed by the staff during the entire stay, even if the place was mostly empty.. Also the menu is huge and without pictures, so if you're inexperienced you'll need to do some research by yourself cause they won't guide you through it. I couldn't take much photos despite the place was absolutely worth it also because of this.

Google
The food was really good, and the staff was really attentive and friendly. The design is uniquely Vietnam back in the past. Will be back for sure.

Google
Burnt rice tasted too crispy and a little hard for me, but it was a great experience. I like the vegetables and pork dish that goes with it. I ordered a yummy dessert. They gave these seeds to munch while waiting for the dish. What I found weird was the bathroom tissue instead of napkins. 😆 overall, it was an excellent experience!

Google

Google
Hands down the best, most authentic pho in Berlin. Excellent cocktails. Wonderful atmosphere with a quirky and authentic interior. Lightning fast service. And some of the best Vietnamese coffee I have had outside of Vietnam itself. Unreal spot. Just go.

Google
Food was excellent but be careful when ordering and check your bill!! The servers were quite harsh with our table and we ordered a noodle dish but got a curry rice dish. We also received a bowl of something we didn’t order and on bill were charged for a Banh mi we also didn’t order. Just beware they will take advantage of you if a tourist but the food was delicious!

Google
My favorite place to eat Vietnamese in Mitte. I wrote a blog post about our favorite things to order in 2014. Unfortunately the spring rolls were not as good this time because it was not crunchy and the pancake did not need the spring roll wrap. But the crunchy noodles with beef was spectacular. Worth going back to for! The design of the restaurant is over the top and so very Berlins! So hipster.

Google
Ambiance is very cozy, food is amazing, especially the pandan waffles and the pho. Don’t forget to order the coconut pineapple mint shake and the mango shake 😍

Yelp
This is one of the few spots in Germany where you can get Vietnamese food that's not just pho and spring rolls. The pho it's pretty good and so are the spring rolls. The outdoor seating reminds me a lot of Vietnam, even their chopstick holders and the tissue paper container with toilet paper. The service here is super slow and not very organized though. If you're in a hurry, this isn't the spot for you.

Yelp
Probably one of the best Vietnamese places in Berlin, District Mot is a gem. I know you may be thinking they overdid the decorations, but many street food vendors in Vietnam are like this where there is just sensory overload of trinkets, religious symbols, and colors. A lot of the menu here is contemporary, but still has many traditional flavors, which makes it great. Top it off with reasonable prices, it's no wonder people flock here. I hope to be back someday to try more of the menu and sit outside on a nice day.
google avatar

Yelp
Nice ambiance and reasonable prices, but the pho isn't the best if you know your pho broth (too think and not complex) and the tenderness of your beef (beef wasn't sliced thin and it was boiled). Other dishes are good (fried noodles wasn't too Vietnamese and too sweet). If you are desperate for an Asian fix in the neighborhood, this is the hipster joint to go. If you need more authenticity, you might need to find a better place.

Yelp
Maybe it's because I'm Vietnamese I'm a bit bias when it comes to Vietnamese food.. but I came to District Mot when I was in Berlin for a few days. Came here through a very good foodie tour and apparently this place is all the rage. I actually did a little research on this place before coming here and it had amazing ratings. I tried their award winning burger and it was good, but being Vietnamese myself- I was able to dissect the burger's flavors and components and it didn't wow me like the other folks reacted on the tour. I do love the aesthetic of the restaurant because it pays homage to the motherland. Unique restaurant with good vibes nonetheless.

Yelp
Came here for weekend lunch and they only had the outdoor seating open (not a problem for us, but some women who came by later seemed really upset that they weren't allowed to sit inside). We ordered the bánh tráng bún tht nng (make your own summer rolls) to share since we weren't that hungry, but I didn't expect it to only come with 3 sheets of rice paper. Probably had only 3 due to 3 skewers of grilled chicken, but there were veggies, herbs, and rice noodles as well, which we just ate by themselves when we ran out of rice paper. Maybe they should offer a larger size to share if they don't already. We also got the sweet potato fries, which were pretty good.

Yelp
Stumbled on District Mot while out drinking and knew I had to go back because the menu looked amazing, and it smelled so good. Had the mot burger and it was really yummy. Mangoes, pickled veggies, a yummy sauce, with a burger on a bao bun! Ordered a refreshing watermelon juice to go with my food, and was quite pleased. My husband had the coconut sticky rice, shakin' beef, and some fried sweet potatoes. The coconut rice was crispy and delicious, the shakin' beef was tender, and the sweet potato fries were interesting - interesting because they were tempura fried sweet potato chips. Good but nothing special. Service was super slow, which was weird considering we got there right when they opened and we were the second table seated. Otherwise it was good.

Yelp
Better Vietnamese all over Berlin. I joined friends for dinner and then asked to pay my bill when I left. I had to chase the waitress and wait to settle my bill for several minutes. I paid my 50€ bill and said goodbye to my friends. When my friends left the same waitress insisted that I didn't pay my bill and made them pay for both of our meals. Meaning she pocketed the 50€ I paid for our meal and charged my friends double. They STOLE from us and I wouldn't recommend anyone else take the chance for the rude and thieving staff.

Yelp
I was excited to try this place after reading some of the raving reviews on Yelp Berlin. Sadly, food and service were disappointing. Their menu hosts a bunch of Vietnamese (banh mi, pho, small plates) and Asian fusion dishes (burgers, bbq). While they focus on presentation (good!) the portions are really small (bad!) and don't really taste distinguishable enough. Our table tried the Fried Silkworm (5 Euro), the Fried Mekong Fish (5 Euro), Papaya Salad (4 Euro), a plate of three summer rolls (9 Euro), Mango salad with shrimp (4.50 Euro), and fried sweet potato (5 Euro). The prices are a bit hefty for the amount of food you get but moreover the dishes tasted bland and not flavorful enough. Service had a "I don't give a sh!t" attitude - no smiles or conversations. We even asked to keep one menu on the table and the guy just said "no" and took it away. Maybe some training on service and customer friendliness? I mean, you work in customer service and representing the restaurant... get your act together. Love the concept of South Vietnamese street food and the decor of the restaurant. Service, food, and value need improvement though. Wouldn't go back here.

Yelp
Very interesting restaurant, you can eat standard food (fried rice, soup) but you will also find very unexpected dishes like worms and duck tongue!!! Worth to try if you are not afraid of old cups, WC paper on your table and kid plastic chairs to seat on!

Yelp
Worst Vietnamese restaurant in Berlin! I notice the decoration and thought it will be amazing since I've visited Saigon so many time. However, service are terrible, took them 20' to bring 2 glasses of lemonade, no sign of welcoming at all from the waiters, no greetings, wait for 10' for the menu to be handed! Then here comes the food, it's not authentic, cold food that you may want to put in the oven for reheat. Maybe the restaurant owner has invested in the decoration so much that he/she doesn't have enough money to recruit good chef and quality ingredients.

Yelp
Food was great. If that's your main criterium, then read no further. Here's the rub. The thin hawkish manager, who I'm sure is infamous by now for curt rudeness and hair trigger borderline-hilarious aggression did not miss his opportunity to shine. He made my friend cry when she asked about some limes in a big jar behind the bar. He yelled at her to sit down. It's amazing, but the whole story is literally as simple as that. The way he yelled at her was unmistakably misogynistic. And he was smugly unapologetic about the whole exchange. Our waiter told us that he treats the staff the same way. Again. I loved the food. And I feel for the staff. My advice is to order food and keep your head down. Don't ask the staff too many questions. The manager is not on your side. Based on how he treats women, he makes a better Trump than a restaurant manager. Hate to be negative. But, this guy was a true inspiration.

Yelp
I was gonna start this review with a kafka quote but then i decided f¥ck it. Which pretty much summarizes the attitude of the service in this place. Tried a little burger with a pretentious name and it was soggy and gave me heartburn. And then please explain to me what the hell the 'burgers and hiphop award' is? Coz they claim to have won one of those. And those two words belong together about as much as i belong in that jaded shack of a shop. The waiters were so unfriendly it bordered on cruel. The inner sadist in me was almost impressed. But not. Tourist hell hole. Skip.

Yelp
This restaurant is pretty cool. The concept is awesome, Vietnamese slash Asian fusion food. The decor is intriguing as I couldn't stop looking around the resto. As for the food, it was alright, nothing special. We started off with the sweet potato and chicken dumpling and moved towards a burger and the beef main dish with Shanghai noodles. Again, it was all just ok. Check it out if you haven't been but I don't think I'll be back.

Yelp
Great food and atmosphere. Top rated burger in the city and menu has lots of sharable foods.

Yelp
As a Vietnamese I can confirm that the interior is super authentic and yes we use toilette paper instead of napkins and yes it's the most normal thing to sit on plastic stools while enjoying your food. I went here for dinner with friends and was so amazed by their concept. South Vietnamese streetfood served as authentic as possible in Berlin! Love it! What a few people might consider as shabby here is for me home. The first thing I noticed was the light scent of incense sticks after entering the restaurant. After that a huge food stall filled with random items (dried fruits, candy etc) caught my eyes and the walls are covered with random sings written in Vietnamese. Welcome to Saigon. Don't be intimidated by all that because the food is amazing! As I said: This place serves south Vietnamese kitchen but also Asian fusion such as the Bao-Burger. There is also a section for small dishes which can be either ordered single as a snack or starter or combined as a decent meal. I did latter and had grilled veggies (eggplant, bittermelon, zucchini and mushrooms) and squid in saté sauce with rice. Both came quite fast and were super delicious. Each dish was for 5€ and the rice was for 2€ and I was crazy stuffed afterwards. So if you aren't a greedy beast as I am you could get a way with 7€. I really like this place and I'd come here a few more times.

Yelp
After trying their amazing "De la sauce" burger at burgers and hip hop - I had to see how good this place is. So we came here, and the place is wonderfully decorated, kinda gets you into the "zone", very busy with waiters running around everywhere. So we were sharing a table with another nice couple - but it clearly was not my intention to do so. On the way to our table we passed by a little temple for Buddha that was right on the corner, maybe it's because I'm jewish, and even though I know this symbol comes from Hindu/Buddhism and has a totally different meaning, to see a shiny swastyka (the famous "cross" from World War II, wasn't a very good opening for my appetite. The choices of food are very interesting but we all know why I came here for - so we have ordered fried sweet potatoes and crispy fried rice along with two burgers and they're home made strawberry/litchi and many more yummy juice The food arrived rather quick, problem is one burger arrived and the second one just wasn't served, when I tried to get our waiter's attention he said "there one more on its way" - but when another table got six burgers in between I realized something is wrong, guess what? It wasn't even ordered So mine was already cold of course, and I got a really bitter face when I asked to heat it up, and a promise it'll be taken off the bill. The sweet potatoes were awesome, the crispy fried rice was pretty boring and both were soaked in a LOT of oil. And the burger? Not as good as it was in burgers and hip hop, like they don't care about it as much. Needless to say that the burger that he promised to take off the bill was there when we asked to pay, and he wasn't very happy when I reminded him to do so. Overall- overpriced, impatient staff, crowded and not that tasty The idea is great but there's a lot to improve. You had your chance, you blew it, not coming back anywhere in the near future.

Yelp
Good Solid Vietnamese street food with huge Banh Ba - not just for one. Great Pho soups and cook your own BBQ feast. Love to come here for a bite when in Berlin!

Yelp
After ordering, I was about to leave when I noticed their swastika clock behind the Budah statue. Waitress claimed to be unaware - we stayed - unfortunately. Hard cover to the summer roll - thinly sliced shrimp that did not taste food
google avatar

Yelp
trully a tribute to my Chinese stomach!the Bao and Pho are excellent! 5 stars for food 2 stars for the service. Do not expect more for service but for food you can!
google avatar

Gemma S.

Yelp
Everything here was delicious. I am so excited to finally try this place. Their famous Bao Burger was AMAZING! And their sweet potato fries are mouth-watering. Although I do wish it came with a few more (they are slices of sweet potato so you don't get fries fries it's like fried potato slices). The shrimp from the fried rice was succulent and soft and not overcooked and chewy - really nice and hard to cook shrimp perfectly but they did it. My friends got their lime-tea and it was delicious. I really like the atmosphere of the place and that there is ample seating - if you can sit outside, it's really nice out. Can't wait to go back!
google avatar

Yelp
The food was good, but the service is alright. The decoration in the restaurant is very interesting! I like buncha here!
google avatar

Tina M.

Yelp
I'm a little saddened at all of these negative reviews. The food was quite good! The service was fine, IMO, however I do live in an area with a lot of Asians and Asians are not known for having good service, so I might just be used to it. The food itself is great. I love the fusion ideas. California Asian fusion is okay but this type of fusion is much better IMO. The burger was really great--I loved the idea of putting a mango salad on a burger with bao bread. Genius!

Yelp
I am not even going to attempt to describe the interior as you really have to see it for yourself. I can only summarize as very cool and authentic. This is unlike any Vietnamese joint I have ever been to before outside of Vietnam and of all places it is here is quite simply amazing. The service is speedy, attentive and adequate which is a bonus. The crowd is fun, young, hip and can be loud at times. The seats are quite uncomfortable in the communal tables so if you are looking for long meaningful conversations with your party, perhaps this is not the place to be. The food is a good mix of classics and fusion (which I think they excel!). While the classics like pho and spring rolls are good on their own it's really the more adventurous parts of the menu that they shine at. Items like the burgers combine the best of Vietnamese spices and sauces in a deliciously recognizable way. What really brings this place down is ironically their poor execution on some of the more basic items such as bbq meats, chicken wings and skewers. I find that they tend to punishingly overcook their meats which makes them unbearably dry. I would recommend staying with either pho or their burger menu (which they've won a lot of acclaim for). Would I recommend this place? Yes and no. I would say give them a try once or twice just for the unique atmosphere alone and of course their burgers. But with so many great Vietnamese options in Berlin, I wouldn't put them as a front runner.

Jonny M.

Yelp
I've been here a couple of times now. I've had bad times i've had better times. Generally speaking: the food quality ranges from ok to boring (depending on the cook, I guess). It's worth a visit for lunch, but I wouldn't recommend it for dinner. Value is not that good and staffs friendliness is not that great.
google avatar

Katrien V.

Yelp
The food is good, and friends like the Vietnamese - western fusion. Unfortunately the service is a little pushy and fast paced wanting to roll over as many customers as possible, but I put up with it and is always a go-to place of mine because I know the food will be good enough. I would suggest to give it a try. The ambience and feel of the restaurant is quite charming, with incense flooding in your nostrils as soon as you walk in and Vietnamese decor strewn all over the place. Also, check out the bathroom if you have a chance

Yelp
The food was good but our dinner got ruined by the staff and I will most likely not go there again. We called today to reserve a table for 3 and they told us that we can only reserve for 6+. So we tried our luck and went without a reservation. The place had a lot of free places and they gave us a table. The food was good, no complains about that, I personally eat their burger which has a really unique taste. Before we finished our drinks one of the waiters comes by and just puts the receipt on our table and leaves. For me thats kind of rude but alright, no big deal. After less than a minute another waiter comes to charge us for our meal ? We did not ask for the receipt, in fact we just finished eating and our drinks were still half full. I politely told him that we did not ask for the receipt and that we are still finishing our drinks. Then he told us how they gave us a table for only an hour and how everything is reserved for later... I mean, the place still had a couple of free places and the big table was almost empty. How rude is that? We were basically kicked out of the place after an hour before we even finished our dinner properly. Advice for the management and the waiters : Tell your guests right away that you have the tables reserved for a certain time and that you can offer them a table only for an hour or whatever. If you told us that we can only stay for an hour we could finish our stuff quicker or instead go for another place to eat. This only makes you look rude and like you just want people to eat and go away.
google avatar

Irene L.

Yelp
Never come back. Although I really love the decor, I wouldn't recommended this place. First, because of the bad service. They didn't even smile or talking/serve friendly and they let us waiting too long, eventhough they already saw us. Vietnamese food wasn't taste right, this would ruin all the taste for people who try Vietnamese food first time. the taste was just not right, was totally different. Also, their grill was over cooked, which I don't think they would serve. And they don't even have a take out box or else, so we have to eat all or left over?!?! Get me cause decor but really disappointed!! Not recommended!
google avatar

Leonarda C.

Yelp
OMG, go there and try 1-800-HOT BAO BLING burger! It's a perfection. Those asian flavors in burger, perfect combo! We also tried sweet potato w/ curry dip and some spring rolls w/ pork, and yes tiger beer yummy yummy! Stuff is friendly, interior is super kitsch asian. Place to go!
google avatar

Yelp
Fun and interesting environment designed to to look like a street market in Saigon. Get the beef burger on the steamed bun, I won't ruin the surprise, all you need to know is it's mind blowing! (Plus it won best burger in Berlin 3x according to our food guide) Had it on our food tour and came back for seconds. Spring rolls were amazing as well.
google avatar

Roi F.

Yelp
Non consistent food level. Couple of things we ordered (sticky rice with coconut, corn etc.) were not very tasty. Service was impatient. They live on the Muret Italian restaurant leftovers...
google avatar

Alisa D.

Yelp
I really wanted to like this place because the vibe was fun and kitschy, but the service was terrible. First, it took a long time to get our drinks out. Then, everyone at my table got their appetizers and entrees AND FINISHED eating all of it before I even got my food, which I had to keep asking for repeatedly. When I finally got my tofu burger, it was cold and soggy and fell apart as I tried to eat it. Not to mention it tasted horrible. It was the worst restaurant experience during my weeklong trip in Berlin. I know customer service isn't really a thing in Germany, but it's a restaurant, dude. Waitstaff didn't seem trained. The manager was this stone-faced guy who was either standing around ignoring people, or yelling at his staff. I hear the other food was great, but I'll never know since I'll never come back here.
google avatar

Juliette B.

Yelp
Food is okay but portions are too small. Staff is just plain rude.
google avatar

Mike D.

Yelp
Kinda OK. I am not huge fan od this place. Interior design worst ever. Totally uncomfortable chairs. Lazy service. Food was good, but far from great. Spring rolls, chicken skewers, dim sum. Decent, but nothing to write home about.

Belle N.

Yelp
I came to this place after reading some reviews online, which provoked my curiosity. I don't remember encountering in Vietnam any street-food restaurant being so colorful and over-decorated =)) I think this restaurant has unnecessarily exaggerated its decorations. In terms of the food, I was impressed that there were quite some actual street food and even rare exotic dishes on the menu. However, I was soon disappointed by the taste. It was not bad, but definitely not authentic.
google avatar

Chris C.

Yelp
Good authentic Vietnamese food, including even some insects if you are so inclined. The atmosphere is of a trashy Saigon shack but don't let that influence you negatively because the best food in Saigon do come from trashy-looking joints. So get used to the idea of sitting on plastic stools and wiping your face with toilet paper. The service is efficient, friendly but can turn rude when under stress so be patient. The best way to enjoy food here is to order a simple starter (for example, the grilled ribs), followed by a pho and then finishing with a Vietnamese coffee. That will set you back less than 20 Euro which is a whole lot less than a ticket to Saigon.
google avatar

Stina H.

Yelp
To be fair - the food is great! I love their young bun burger with deep fried sweet potato. It is also really cheap, especially considering how great the food is. That said though, the staff can be really unfriendly. We have been to this restaurant four times altogether, and after our last visit we felt like we won't even be coming back despite the food.
google avatar

Django Z.

Yelp
Not authentic at all. The cheesy pop music has to be blasted at a minimum of 120 decibel. Just kidding!! This is as close to Saigon as you can get without running into problems with German authorities! All the details are just perfect and cute. And each item I tried is almost 100% exactly the same as I had in the streets of District 1. Amazing place! Now if only the prices were like in Saigon :)
google avatar

Grace Y.

Yelp
The interior of District Mot is a painstaking recreation of a dusty Saigon corner. No details have been spared down to the cracked ceramics dishes, to the red plastic condiment holder and the toilet paper as napkin. Although Vietnam's common little plastic chairs have been replaced by normal sized ones, i suppose it is done so that most people with long legs wouldn't get a terrible cramp. The food is pretty similar to what you would find in Saigon (albeit at x10 the price aka normal German price), and the waiter was pretty attentive. We had the Bun Cha (BBQ beef with rice noodle and herbs) and Com Tam Suon Non (BBQ spare ribs and broken rice). Both reminded us of the street food we would eat everyday on the street while we were living in Saigon (We actually lived in District Mot, no less). Pretty tasty. I would come back to try the Bun Bao next time, they looked pretty interesting.
google avatar

Yelp
Incredible, great service and FAST very accommodating to Vegetarian! The portions were small so great for sharing a few different options... good because I couldn't choose! The restaurant itself was amazingly decorated and buzzing! I would recommend this to everyone!

Yelp
Simply the best Asian burger in Berlin: District Mot`s De La Sauce with 120g beef, a steamed bao bun, fresh mango & coriander, pickled red onions, caramelized fish sauce, garlic mayo and red curry sauce. Every bite is a taste explosion and the combination with fried sweet potatoes & even more red curry sauce makes it a perfect meal: 5/5. - more burger reviews on Facebook: BerlinBuns -

Yelp
Amazing food! Great vibes. Can't stop drinking the cocktails. Def my go to place when I'm in Berlin.

Yelp
Fun version of Vietnamese street food in berlin. Cocktails were very quite weak - good if you like creative fruit juice mixtures. Enjoyed the chicken yeast dumpling, rice dumpling with crab filling (more gelatinous dough than crab) and fired rice paper as appetizers. The bao burger was phenomenal - deserving of every award it won. Spare ribs were very good as were the shrimp in coconut milk sauce. Nice to sit outside on the sidewalk enjoying the Berlin summer. The service is fast paced and a little pushy. The host sends you out to the corner to wait and the waiters come often to get you in and out quickly - feels Asian or America where turnover = profit. Don't go expecting a relaxed dining experience. Creative Vietnamese decor, cool place to go with friends. Will be back for more.

Rachael G.

Yelp
Food was average (cold), service was horrible. Was quickly seated, however our drinks never arrived, then waited 30 minutes after requesting the bill to receive it and despite the menu stating they accept credit card (over 20 euro) the waiter insisted on cash so my husband had to run to an atm. Will never go back.

Daniela M.

Yelp
Bad service and we were thrown out after 1,5 hours. We were 3 ppl and went there for a quick dinner, ordered food and drinks. The food was ok (even though I asked if the fried sweet potato were fries and they said "no sweet potato"...and I received sweet potato fries, but ok). They were very quick in taking away empty dishes but also didn't ask if we want to order anything else. What followed was the waiter coming to the table having a look in the cup of tea of my friend (to check if it was empty) and then leaving. And out of the sudden, 10 mins later, we received the bill - without asking for it. Seriously? We sat there for less than 1,5 hours. So we said "oh we didn't order the bill...do we have to go?" And the waiter mumbled something like "oh I dont know my boss said so". So, yes, the place (outside) was crowded but there were still free tables, no one told us anything about a maximum of time we could sit and neither were we asked if we want to order anything else...will never go there again. Also the Food was less than average!

Yelp
We had been caught in the rain in Berlin, and were frantically searching around for a place to eat lunch when this adorable exterior caught our eye. Wordlessly, we ducked in and almost cried when the warm scent of lemongrass, chiles, and pho hit our nostrils. Cold, hungry, and tired from walking, we were probably the most appreciative guests this place has ever had. I liked the decor - who knew that toilet paper can serve as a napkin? The deep-fried spring/summer (can never remember which is which) rolls were pretty good. I got a special drink, which was green tea, lime, mint, and gin. It was incredible. The pho was just OK. The broth was not nearly as rich, flavorful, or deep-colored as I expect pho to be, which makes me suspect it was not simmered for nearly long enough. But who am I kidding. We were so happy to be inside and warm that we slurped it all up anyway. Thanks, District Mot, for memories of a delightfully cozy afternoon.

Yelp
For my first night in Berlin, I decided to go to district mot, an Asian street-food style restaurant. First of all, the place: located in a relative classy district, a kind of "boho" area (kind of a Berlin-style Marais). the restaurant is quite big with small tables outside. This is well decorated but the commercial music can be a bit painful. The menu is big, but choices for vegetarians is relatively limited. I took a veggie dim sum, vegetables with soy sauce and coconut fried rice, with a green tea cocktail. Everything was quite good even if the veggie main course was relatively small. The cocktail was good as well very refreshing after a long trip. Service was really fast in the beginning... But, I have waited 10mn for a dessert that was eventually not available, they should have told me before. Regarding the price, I think it was not expensive (17€), hence the good mark in the end.

Yelp
Heard great things about this place so decided to go with friends. We were seated and ordered food and that's when we noticed at least 3 swastikas on the wall. We were extremely uncomfortable and lost our appetites. We paid for the food and left without eating.

Yelp
My favorite part about District Mot was the decor - the vintage Vietnamese streetside hawker stand style, as well as the Hello Kitty pillows (if you can find them :) I ordered the Bun Cha, which was OK. The rice noodles were a bit stiff, the pork was mediocre, nothing particularly special, they could have been more tender. I tried my friend's friend spring rolls which were crispy, light, and delicious. Many others (Yelp Lunch Mob) ordered the bao burger (?) which seemed to be a hit. The ginger iced tea was refreshing.

Yelp
Bad experience. Lukewarm pho, politely sent it back, what retuned was still so cool as to be inedible. I gave up, paid and advised the staff, who clearly didn't care at all. Will never return.
