DON'T‼️‼️‼️ Made a reservation thru Expedia, got to the hotel, and they said it was closed because of remodeling. When demanding my money back, they said they didn't have my reservation, then refused to return the money even tho i showed them my recive. Horrible customer service, horrible experience‼️‼️

the hotel is basic but centrally located just off the plaza del armas. The staff is friendly. There was a group of people staying here that were quite noisy, yelling and screaming until 11:30 one night. Bed was comfortable but the internet is quite slow The room was very basic, bed, nightstand and desk, tile floors and a decent size bathroom. Took a bit for the hot water to arrive when taking a shower. All in all a good value for a low price.

We stayed at this hotel two nigts, it is a very convenient hotel as it is very close to the central square. It is undoubtedly a good hotel but the furniture of the room was old and the bed not so comfortable. Anyway, the room was very clean, and the bathroom big enough. Breakfast is quite poor with lack of choices. The hotel offer free parking if you have a car, anyway we didn't have the chance to use it as we arrived in the middle of the Carnival and the streets of the city centre were all closed to the traffic.

This is an older, classic Peruvian hotel in the middle of downtown Ayacucho. It is well-maintained and we found the staff to be amiable and helpful. They don't radiate pleasantness, but that is more a highland characteristic than something unique to this hotel. The on-site parking, while a little hard to find the first time, is convenient and secure. The breakfast is very typical of Peru, with white bread, limited fruit, and coffee made out of instant concentrate. Wi-fi worked well in our room. Which room you get will have a major impact on your stay at this hotel. Some of the rooms face directly out onto the street and are quite noisy much of the night, other rooms look straight out to a pink wall. The choice rooms, in my opinion, are those that open out into an enclosed courtyard. They are quiet and airy. We stayed in 231. We will definitely come back to this hotel on our next visit to Ayacucho.

Firstly, I can only review on my experience that night. I went the night before the public holiday on the 8th Oct. There was no chance of any sleep where my room was located. People partied in the street until 3 am and car horns and traffic noise all night. |The hotel is a lovely grand building, beautifully set out on the main square. Staff are ok. Some a lot better than others. |Our meal was very rushed and incredibly poor. The pork chops were inedible! |Rooms are fine, nice beds, showers etc. Best hotel in the area for a one night stay.

Outdated, over priced and very basic rooms. Only 1 plug point located under a table? No hot water, asked to run the tap for 30 mins to slightly warm water. Safe broken asked 3 times but never got fixed. Shame as staff where nice and tried to help. Let down by bad management. Trading on a past good name.

While the location and overall infrastructure was OK, this hotel doesn't function as such. It could be a great site as the it might have been the case in the past but today, it lacks care. Additionally, the nice staff requires training urgently. BTW, I've just known that DM is a hostel for professors. In fact, DM is the acronym of (Derrama Magisterial), which means that professors of Peru get fair deals in terms of fares. ||For the rest of us, not only we'll be overcharged but we'll be unfortunately surprised by the lack of attention to the basic details such a beautiful infrastructure requires. Hope they change the directives because the astonishing beauty of Ayacucho requires investment and other approach.

I went to the DM hotel in Ayacucho. It's old, it is in bad condition, the rooms are awful, and the people in the front desk are not helpful at all. I was given a room with a broken toilet seat, not mirror, looking at roofs. I asked for a different room and I was given a better one but also in the back. My brother, my brother in law and their families had main square view, and street view while we were all paying the same rate. I felt completely discriminated. It seemed to me that they didn't have me the same service because there was no man in my room. TERRIBLE!!!
