DMA Cafe

What a fantastic place for lunch in the Dallas Arts District! The new menu is amazing! You can tell that there are some talented chefs in the kitchen. There is even a full bar menu with wines and signature cocktails.

Came on a Saturday afternoon and ordered a vanilla latte from the HOT beverage section of their menu. The staff were nice, but they were clearly overwhelmed, disorganized, and had communication issues with each other. I saw multiple customers come up to the counter and complain about their order taking a long time or being incorrect. When they handed me my drink, it was stone cold. Didn’t even bother asking for them to remake it because I knew they would probably mess it up. The seating area is in the atrium of the art museum and has several art pieces on the walls which was at least nice to look at while I sipped my drink.

DMA has a new menu and the changes are delicious. Tasted the best French onion soup ever. Juicy hamburgers and a huge variety of cold drinks to choose from. If you have not been lately gotta go check it out!

What a great hidden gem. If you're in the Arts District you owe it to yourself to visit the Cafe at the DMA. They offer so much more than just your standard concession foods! Great meal with awesome service.

We popped in for a quick lunch and were in and out quicker than anything else we've been to downtown! The Bruschetta is phenomenal and the entire staff was so hospitable! Will definitely be coming back again soon!

WOW! The menu they are offering is so delicious!!! It is obvious that their menu items are fresh and farm to table. Seriously the best bruschetta I have ever had! Highly recommend.

The staff is so kind, uplifting, and offer great service! I got a coffee, pretzel, and brownie, and was super pleased!

Awesome food. The street corn is addictive. Love the pastries, gelato and pizza 🍕 are my favorites. Pleasant suprise for a museum cafe.

In just a couple of weeks in Barcelona I got used to having a nice espresso in the middle of a day at an art museum, and what do I find to my surprise at the Dallas Museum of Art's cafe but an excellent cup of espresso served up in a proper ceramic cup and saucer by a barista who speaks two languages. The cafe is spacious, clean, with (not surprisingly) good art. It's also got a wonderful outdoor area. Closes half an hour before the museum closes.
